They were able to get both my children in on short notice to transfer medical forms.They are efficient in the care & service provided and they are prompt & effective with communications. I am amazed because unfortunately these attributes are rare in my experiences with medical services. The front desk staff are pleasant, nursing staff are friendly and helpful, and Dr. Desoutter displayed her care by really listening and ensuring all my son's needs are met. I stopped by to discuss billing & insurance issues, Perry (Assistant Office Manager) listened, answered questions, addressed my concerns effectively and explained essential information. Fast and efficient crew. Thanks!! I needed an appointment and got one on the same day. Dr. Allen was friendly and always smiling. Location is great too, next to a fountain, Trader Joe's, and other stores for the kids to walk around after the appointment. The staff is courteous but are probably a bit scary to kids. No smiling. No trying to make the child comfortable. No stickers after a vaccine. If my only exposure to a doctor's office is to get a vaccine, I'd probably fight tooth and nail too NOT to go to the doctor. Waiting room is meh. Again, not very comforting to a child except for the TV playing cartoons and the kid magazines. I also like to get more information so I'd appreciate if the doc and staff would be more proactive. Suggestions on diet. Things to look for etc. They do have an advice nurse but I haven't used it yet. I may do that next time instead and save a trip.

This was my very first appointment with my newborn and it was awesome. The front of the house were very friendly and congratulated us on the new addition and they immediately took us to a separate room away from the general waiting room due to our baby being just a few days old and away from other sick children. The young lady who assisted us in the room was top notch and made us feel at home with a warm southern feel. She assisted with the first weight and even assisted with a blowout that occurred as we were attempting to get his weight. Dr. Gorvy has a very calm demeanor and he is extremely knowledgeable and his concern for your child is immediately recognizable. He like his team made us feel right at home and I'm glad I was referred to this Pediatrics Group.

She came highly recommended by a friend and, after conducting interviews with numerous Pediatricians, I knew instantly she was the perfect fit for our family. Every thing started off ok at the beginning of our visit but things changed quickly. The nurse gave my daughter the Hep A short but wasn’t supposed to. She then said that it was invalid and she would have to get it again because it was too early. I was so upset I just left but I will be making some phone calls today because my daughter should not have to endure that pain twice. She should not have to get extra vaccinations because a nurse was not doing her job correctly.

This practice is confusing. First time I took my 1 month old daughter here they told me to go the the room, get her undress and meet them at the scale. I don't know where the scale is? And why do you want a naked newborn baby to go through a cold hallway exposing to potential sick kids in the office? Staff MA/LPN/RN doesn't even introduce themselves or what their job title is. You could be talking to a janitor for all I know. Staff doesn't perform hand hygiene. You bring your baby to get the weight, then they used this old disgusting yellow plastic ruler to measure her head. This item is at least 30years old that the current color is BROWN. I wonder how many babies it also measured. Must be an antique. I hope it doesn't transmit from whatever other baby might have and pass onto mine. Here's a tip. print a ruler on sheets of paper, cut it out, use it for measurement. It's cost effective approach. Then I was met with Dr. Allen. Kinda of nice soft spoen woman somewhat uncompassionate. She wants to impose all the 2 months per CDC vaccination schedule. I asked her if there is a different alternate schedule where an infant won't be bombarded with all the vaccinations. She gave me the look ("im the doctor and i know best"). "IT'S FOR HER PROTECTION." I then proceed to ask her which brand has less chemical and toxic preservative agents and I swear it gave her a seizure. "I DONT KNOW". So they bring the one shot in, on a unlabled syringe. How do we know it's drawn from the correct vial? How about you pick up recent research articles and relearn what you practice? You can't blindly accept a layout that's given to you by your American Pediatric Associates. I guaranteed 1/49 kid is autistic seeing the pediatrician here. In 5 years it'll be 1/10. Stay away from this place.

Dr Gorvy is excellent! Very through and caring for all of my children. However, after a sick visit where my 2.5 yr was diagnosed with the flu. I had to call after hours because the prescription called in wasn’t available and needed to be changed. Dr Allen was on call and couldnt have been more rude to the fact I needed a new prescription so my toddler could get medicine that evening rather than wait til the next day. Very disappointing she made it more about her unconvince rather than the health of my kid

One of the only physician offices left where an actual person answers the phone rather than you having to wait through the automated system. Same day appointments are always available if your little one is sick. Doctors are up-to-date on the latest research. Four out of five of the doctors really take the time to sit with you, explain, and answer all your questions without trying to get you out the door. That is hard to find in a doctor nowadays! Fast response when I have called the dr. on call emergency line.
