Took a visit when looking for pediatricians for our newborn. While Dr. Solomon herself came off has warm and receiving, there was concern that the waiting room was empty, as well as the entire office, save for Dr. Solomon. It was a Friday and 30 minutes before closing, so I just wrote it off as bad timing. I went ahead and went to our first week appointment with our newborn, and regret not trusting my internal alarms. Once again, I come in, and it is a ghost town. There is no one at the front desk, no one in the halls. I wait for five minutes before actually walking into the back to ask if anyone is there. Dr. Solomon then comes out, hands me paperwork to fill out, then goes back into her office. This whole time, just me, my wife, and our infant are here. Later on, I start to see that Dr. Solomon is handling all calls, signing for all packages received, and all payments for her patients. It's an hour after our appointment that we are seen (in that time, only one other patient has entered the waiting room, so not busy in any other relative terms compared to other pediatric offices). Not going into the visit itself, I'm going to say that this overall experience would have been vastly better if she had some sort of auxiliary staff. Not sure if she just decided to give them all vacation for 2 months, or I have terrible timing. Overall, head over here if you're interested in seeing a one-woman show handle the daily tasks of a medical office.
