I have been a patient of Dr. Melissa Babcock for over a decade. In today's medical profession, it is very difficult to find a physician who cares as much about their patient(s) and gives the best medical care that every patient deserves . This describes Dr. Babcock. She is warm and compassionate and exceptionally knowledgeable in her field of Dermatology medicine. Whenever I visit her office, I am confident I will receive the best Dermatology care for my medical problem. It is an honor and privilege to be a patient in her practice and have Dr. Babcock as part of my medical team.

I had the most amazing experience getting my very first facial ever at Babcock! I opted for the Hydro Facial and while I was in the waiting area I saw a woman who had just gotten her Hydro Facial and her skin was straight up glowing, so hydrated. I was pumped for mine! My technician, Kelly, was so great and very attentive to my skin's needs since my face is very sensitive. After the four step process of the facial and the red light treatment to help with toning redness my face has never looked better! Everyone complimented me on my "glowing" skin and my face has never felt better. The results lasted awhile and I can't wait to get another one!

I hope that if someone reads this review, take some measures to improve their employees skills and customer service. If there is lower rating review, I would give it to the staff working at this clinic. I am extremely disappointed of the rude treatment received today by one of the employees of the reception desk, unfortunately I didn't get her name, but I am referring to the younger woman seated in the front desk. Besides being rude and unfriendly, she does not have any sense of how to treat patients. I made my appointment about 3 weeks ago, when I did it, I told them who my insurance provider was and the woman who answered the phone said "WE DO NOT CHECK YOUR INSURANCE, YOU HAVE TO DO IT YOURSELF" so, I called my insurance to confirm if Dr. Melissa Babcock was an approved doctor within my network and my insurance said "YES she is". Today when I showed up for my appointment and handed over my insurance card, the woman at the reception desk asked me again if my insurance has Dr. Babcock in their network and I replied "Yes they do" she then started talking to herself and went to her other colleague to ask her if they accepted my insurance, the other lady gave her some papers and she indeed found my insurance company, then she said which plan do I have and I told her "you can look it up in my insurance card", then she said "what color is your plan" to what I replied "I do not know" and then with her awful attitude told me to find out because she wouldn't do it. Her despotic treatment made me take my papers back and leave the clinic immediately. The point is, if when I called the first time, they would have had the minimum sense of customer service in giving me the information they needed from my insurance company, then I would have had it.

They saved my eye! I called in with a question related to the pink eye diagnosis my primary care Dr. had given me, and after asking just a few questions, Dr. Babcock thought something didn't sound right and I might have shingles in my eye - I didn't even know that was a thing! She had me come in same day, and the excellent staff saw to me right away - and sure enough I had been misdiagnosed by my primary physician and Dr. Babcock and her PA got it right! It's VERY serious to have shingles around your eye and needs to be attended to immediately or you can literally lose vision in that eye. . .I couldn't be more thankful for their expertise, attentiveness, and getting me through a stressful and scary episode with the utmost in professionalism. I went to Dr. Babcock for a bad, stubborn rash on my arms. She treated it with a cream and the rash resolved completely after a few days. My experience here was exceptional. Parking was easy and free and the staff were very friendly. I am truly thankful for this office!

I had a small spot that was changing on my leg. Luckily I went here and Dr. Babcock said it was nothing to worry about. She saw that I was concerned and asked if I would like a biopsy just to put my mind at rest. I said yes. I got the results back and it was benign!! Praise God! After having a rare skin disorder and seeing multiple specialists and trying every treatment available I was very fortunate to find Dr. Babcock. This disorder has been going on for thirty years so detecting a good office staff and doctor has become very easy for me. I find Dr. Babcock to be an unusually good listener. She asks clarifying questions until she feels she has a grasp of how I/a patient feels about their condition. Additionally the PA that is with her, when I see her, Deana (forgive me if I get this wrong) is absolutely exceptional. Combine Dr. Babcock and Deana and for the first time in over thirty years I feel listened to, given thorough and complete explanations of what the procedure is going to be. I find Dr. Babcock and her staff above exceptional and recommend this office without an ounce of hesitation.

Dr Babcock and her staff have consistently been friendly, punctual, and thorough on all visits, and we've had many. Pricing is awesome, parking is free, and Dr Babcock and her PA's are the absolute best. I highly recommend this practice.

I went in to see Dr. Babcock for a cyst and lympoma removal last week. I have never had this type of surgery done before, but Dr. Babcock was very easy to consult with and made the entire process easy and pleasant. Hopefully I never have anything else to remove by surgery, but If I did, I would go back and see Dr. Babcock. Also, her staff is very friendly and professional. I would recommend her for anyone needing a good dermatologist.

My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Babcock and I had a good experience. She took her time during my exam and addressed all my questions and concerns. She has a pleasant and easygoing demeanor. I only dinged it one star because there's a strong likelihood the office will try to sell you on skincare-related vitamins and supplements. A number of staff tried to give me the sell and as it turns out, a couple of my coworkers who also go to this office got the same spiel.

Hi. My mom is the doctor at Babcock Dermatology. I had some pretty bad acne. She told me since I'm her son I had to see her PA for treatment. I think Kate did a very good job with my acne. She gave me a cream, a wash and some pills to take. She also did a chemical peel on my face that really helped. Thanks for making my skin clear.

I have been going to Dr. Babcock for over 5 years now. She is the only one that I will trust with my skin. I am an airline pilot, so I am exposed to high levels of radiation. In addition, I was bad to my skin growing up and never wore sunscreen. All of that sun damage actually caused me to develop a skin cancer on my forehead. I had a spot on my forehead for several years that concerned me, but was told by other doctors that it was a scar. I went to Dr. Babcock and she was concerned, so she did a biopsy. Turns out, it was skin cancer. She did an amazing job on my mohs surgery, and my scar is almost unrecognizable. She is friendly, runs on time, and her office staff is knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Babcock to all of my friends and family. I also use the sunscreen that she has there. It's the only one I've ever tried that doesn't break me out. And I'll never make the mistake of going out without sunscreen again!

If it was possible to give Babcock Dermatology more than five stars, I would in a minute. My experience with Dr. Babcock has been amazing. She is honest and has a plethora of knowledge with a wonderful bedside manner. I am a "picker" for as long as I can remember. I pick at my cuticles, nails and scalp due to anxiety. Dr. Babcock recognized my issue and she explained what my picking was doing to my skin. As an adult, it was embarrassing that I still picked, especially the picking I did on my face; but no other dermatologist focused on my picking, they focused on everything else. Dr. Babcock not only diagnosed my problem with honesty, she did what was necessary to help me stop picking at my face, nails and head. My skin is healthy again, my nails are growing, my cuticles and scalp look like new. If you have an issue with picking due to an anxiety disorder and you need an expert to help you, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Babcock. Lastly, Dr. Babcock gave me a fresh, new, younger look with Dysport injections. Her expertise are remarkable and I am so thankful I was referred to her. This is in reference to the administrative aspect of this practice. DONT waste your time, because they WILL waste yours. I was made to wait over 25 minutes for a very simple basic consult, only to have to leave in order to make it in time to pick up my child. I could not keep waiting. To make matters worse the basement office has no cell service for Verizon and so not only are you forced to idle your time and not be able to check email. I could not recieve texts to know where my child was... nor was I able to send texts/emails either. Dr. Babcocks office does NOT respect your time. There are countless other dermatologists in Sandy Springs that will.

My husband recently went to Dr. Babcock and had a wonderful experience. He recommended her highly, so when a concern popped up for me I made an appointment with her. The office staff was fabulous. I got an appointment within a week. They even call two days prior to confirm. Parking is free and there were plenty of free spots at 9:30 on a weekday (noticed a former reviewer complained about parking- this was certainly not an issue). I was greeted and taken care of promptly and then waited in the clean and comfortable waiting room. My appointment was at 9:40 and I was seen by 10:00, so excellent wait time. I was nervous as it was my first Dermatology appointment, but Dr. Babcock was very gentle and thorough! She has a wonderful bedside manner. She calmed my worries quickly and also noticed an issue I had not noticed myself! She did not push ANY treatment options, instead she explained each well and answered all of my questions. She really took her time, listened, and explained everything. Great experience- this coming from one who has anxiety about doctors! Highly recommended!!!

The office reached out to schedule an appointment to see me. That appointment was 10 AM. Arrived at office to be told appointment was 10:50 AM. AT 11:00 AM still had yet to be seated. Additionally, had to park in the Kroger parking lot and walk - handicapped - across the lot, across Long Island Dr., and through the normal lot/building to arrive on time. Disappointing: I advise you to call back next day to confirm appointment time and be ready to walk to see this staff.

Dr. Babcock is amazing! Actually her entire team is amazing! They take the time to hear your concerns and they are all very clear on outcomes and procedures. I have seen Dr. Babcock for multiple reasons, the latest being for deep scars on my face left over from a rare skin issue (which she was the ONLY one able to diagnose me in all of Atlanta!) , she recommended Micro-needling and I have seen great results. She was clear with what I could expect in the outcome and was very supportive through the process. Caroline preformed most of my sessions and she is the best! I just went in for a Hydrafacial at Babcock Dermatology and had such an amazing experience. The entire staff was so friendly. Kelly did the treatment and did a wonderful job making me feel relaxed and pampered, explaining each step along the way. It was a four step process that literally left my skin glowing. It felt relaxing and completely refreshed my skin. I normally have some issues with clogged pores and small black heads on my nose and chin. The hydrafacial cleared all of that out and I could actually see everything that came out of my pores at the end of the treatment. It's been over a week since the appointment and my pores still look smaller and clear and my skin looks and feels better than it ever has. I will definitely go back again.

The P.A I saw was really sweet and professional however I wasn’t satisfied with her solution bc I’ve tried them before and they didn’t work as I stated during my appt. I called to have all labs and prescriptions cancelled and when I spoke with the office manager she got really defensive instead of trying to resolve my issue. She totally ignored my concern and started to rant off the P.A’s experience and how there was a long line of ppl waiting to be seen by her. Not once did I insult the P.A. I think she was wonderful. Every doctor has a specialty, in my opinion it just wasn’t my personal condition. An appropriate response would have likely been more compassionate seeing that I’m still going to be billed. Maybe even offered to get me a second opinion. But now I’m writing this review and I will never return. Not a good first impression. Thanks Gail!

I received a few treatments from Dr. Babcock; all of them had excellent outcomes. I had CoolSculpting on my stomach and my flanks (aka love handles). The people in this office did an excellent job explaining the process and setting my expectations for how I would feel during and after the process. While receiving this treatment, Dr. Babcock gave me Dysport shots in my forehead to lessen my wrinkles and Restylane injections (fillers) in my face. I was surprised by the immediate effect of the injections and how they made me look younger. Dr. Babcock was very descriptive of this procedure, showing me before and after examples and made me feel very comfortable with the process. Her staff was very friendly and I thought her offices were very nice. Parking was very easy and free, which is becoming more uncommon in physician office buildings. I will return again for future treatments.

Booked an appointment. They take my insurance. Arrive at the appointment. They no longer take my insurance as of a week ago. Didn’t think to mention that when you called to confirm the appointment? I was even willing to go out of pocket, but they wouldn’t let me talk to the Dr. to find out how much it would be. I was told if I talk to the Dr. they will have to charge me. Not the best.

After two emails without reply, I’ll post it here and hope for a response. After leaving your office this morning without any services and without resolution I am feeling quite disappointed. When I made an appointment to have a PRP treatment on my scalp I specifically asked if the price would be $1000.00 as advertised and was told it was in fact so. This morning I was offered a different price that was fifty percent greater. Your entire staff was unapologetic and would not honor the price that was quoted to me. It felt like a bait and switch, especially after being told that the One Thousand dollar price was valid. The answer to your question is no. I specifically asked the cost of the service. Questioning my memory is not helpful. Responding to a public review after not replying to two emails is not helpful either. It is an indication that you are more concerned with your public image than an individual customer.

I’ve been going to Babcock Dermatology for many years now. The staff is wonderful, as is Dr. Babcock and her team of PAs and MAs. I highly recommend this practice. After being on an immunosuppressant that left me more susceptible to skin cancer, Alison Williams suggested I increase my skin checks to twice a year. As a result, numerous suspicious things were caught early, saving me from what could easily have developed into skin cancer. I feel cared about and well-cared for by this excellent team of professionals and know that I’m in very good hands.
