I've been a patient here for 22+ years for my GYN/OB needs. From the nice young lady in reception, the nurse who took my history, my midwife-Judith Cox RN CNM, the lab technician who introduced herself before she drew my blood, to the helpful check-out staff; my experience here was top notch. I work in the service industry so my radar is up in my day in, day out dealings with others in customer service. I have to say that everyone I came in contact with made me feel important and as if they were happy to see me. I drive 1-hour one way to this medical practice, and for good reason!

I am currently pregnant with my fourth child and have had a wonderful experience with this practice in every pregnancy. I have labored with several doctors in the practice and delivered with Dr Fisch and Dr Lee and completely trust the judgment of each and every one of the doctors who could possibly be on call for my fourth delivery. I have always received prompt test results, had quick responses to my after hours calls, and had no problem getting an appointment for pregnancy-related concerns, including what ended up being a miscarriage. The nursing and administrative staff has always been courteous and professional, and the office has gone above and beyond to accommodate my busy schedule. I wouldn’t want to deliver with any other practice.

Dr. Barratt is one of the best physicians I have ever had. Immediately inspiring trust, he is exceptionally professional, kind, understanding, and warm. He really listens. I highly recommend him. He should really have his own television series; with his crisp shirts, and easy, gentlemanly and comforting manner, he is in a class with the winsome Dr. Marcus Welby and Dr. Joe Gannon.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the receptionist is EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional and clearly could careless about her job or this practice, or the patients calling in. The doctors at Atlanta OBGYN need to know this is the first impression of their practice a patient gets. Honestly the worse customer service I have experienced in a long time. I cancelled my appointment and will be going elsewhere, as well will advise my primary doctor he should not refer anyone else to this practice due to the difficulty and unprofessionalism of the admin staff.

Love the care this clinic has provided! Dr. Bukkapatnam is the best physician I've had! Wonderful bedside manners and just overall very pleasant and caring! I also have never had a problem with any of the staff/receptionists or wrong appointment times as others have mentioned. Runs like a well oiled machine!

Dr. Bukkapatnam is a truly wonderful doctor. She makes me feel very comfortable every time I visit her. She is sure to address all treatment options with me and makes sure I understand everything that is going on at each appointment. Dr. B is very personable and we have genuine conversations each time I visit. She takes the time to review my file before each visit so she is completely knowledgeable. The receptionists that I have spoken to on the phone have always been friendly and extremely helpful with insurance and other recommendations. They usually return my calls within the day although once I had to call back which is understandable for a busy office.

Dr. Barrett delivered both my children by c-section. He is the best. His cool calmness was unbelievable & assuring when faced with some difficulty. Best doctor ever!

I absolutely loved my doctor, Dr. Rubin. She took care of me for a LEEP procedure and was great. Although she was wonderful and caring, I will never return to this office. The receptionist staff, once you can get one on the phone, is dismissive. They were not good at returning phone calls regarding scheduling or billing. Nor were they clear about how much the procedures would cost until after they had taken place. Poor organization and communication just makes a patient mad and frustrated, even if they received great care.

My physician, Dr. Rubin, was fantastic. However, I chose to leave this practice half way through my pregnancy due to the unorganized office/administration process. There were three different instances in the first four months where they either missed my appointment completely, or booked the wrong time for my ultrasounds. No apologies or accountability at all at this office, just made excuses. After sharing this info with Dr. Rubin, she booked my next appointment herself. Everytime I visited was over a 30 minute wait, and Dr. Rubin was the only person that introduced herself. Due to the huge volume I guess it is hard for the nurses to be friendly or give individual attention. After several pregnancy visits here, I became worried about all of the mess ups and lack of individual care, I transferred to another practice and didn't hear a word from them. I just called to get records transferred to my new OB office, and was told I have to FAX a records form to them to get release of my records. It is completely ridiculous to ask individuals to fax anything in 2018. Guess when I get my time machine my new practice will get my records :-/ SO glad I don't have to deal with this nonsense anymore!!

Very polite and courteous staff and highly professional. Dr. Deborah Lee is a great person and a wonderful doctor. She made my wife feel very comfortable and explained everything so well. We were extremely worried about our situation. But Dr. Lee was immensely helpful and got us what we needed. I would surely recommend this place.

i transferred over to this OB office in February for prenatal care. Dr. Debbie Lee is very thorough and attentive; however, the staff is not organized and responsive. It is hard to communicate with a nurse to get a prompt response about medical symptoms and important genetic results. I don't know if I'm just spoiled to be coming from ACRM (who has a phenomenal customer care team) where I would receive a same day response; however, I expected better customer care from the nursing staff.

I called today to schedule a new client appointment and was greeted by the receptionist who seemed to be very short in assiting me with doing so. At one point during the call she randomly stated "Please Hold" while I was in the middle of asking my question, at this point we had only been on the call together for about less than a minute. Upon returning to the line she asked me what insurance I had, I advised that I had none at this time (Self Employed and missed open enrollment deadline) she replied with the comment "Ouch" and stated, "It will be $400 just for you to walk through the door!" as if she was insinuating that the cost would be too much for me. She then begin to wrap the conversation up as if she was expecting me to hang up by stating ' Thanks for calling "... As I begin to state that I still wanted to book the appointment... I begin to feel like this may be the attitude of the rest of the staff at this facility... This woman is the first contact for an entire entitiy and for her to be this comfortable being so short and slightly condescending to new patients really sets the tone for Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology. You only get one chance to make a first impression, why not make it a positive one.

Poor customer service. Long wait times and awkward visits. Unethically refused to refill my prescription for a three-week scheduling gap between when it expired and when I could get an appointment at a NEW doctors office. Luckily the new Dr had a last minute cancellation and they could fit me in before my BC expired. I honestly do not know how this practice gets so many patients. You will probably be better served at a free clinic.

The receptionist didn’t seem very knowledgeable at all. I called to ask a simple question and schedule an appointment and was put on hold for over 40 mins. No one ever answered the phone after. No appointment, no answer, 40 mins wasted.
