I have had good experiences with Dr. Perry. I have been going to this office for 2 years. I like how he talks with you in his office before and after any procedures are done. He does talk kinda fast but, he has always been willing to slow down when I don't understand something and has answered my questions completely.

I am in to get my nexplanon removed and replaced. The procedure can be a bit scary and it was my first visit here but Deborah and Doctor Perry Madeline me feel comfortable. They are knowledgeable and professional! I would recommend!

I always call ahead to check on the max price for any visit/ appointment I attend. I was given a price of $170 (from Heather) and later on, received two bills in the mail (pertaining to that appointment). The two bills totaled $740. To get clarity on the bills, I called Dr. Perry's office - I spoke with Heather. I was told that I was being charged for the procedure in addition to a "consultation." Apparently, Dr. Perry asking me to follow him into his office to explain what he would be doing during the procedure suffices as a consultation, and he will bill you for it. Please understand, I was not made aware to any of this. I also noticed quite a few people mentioning that Heather (the woman who works the front desk) is rude. This much is true. On top of the rudeness, she's insensitive and not very knowledgeable.

Every time I go to Dr. Perry's office, I'm given exceptional service. The staff is attentive, I'm never waiting long periods of time to be seen, and Dr. Perry is clear about any procedure or change in my health. I would recommend him to anyone. He and his are truly that great!

When asked, he is willing to offer professional opinion on areas of health concern that have little to nothing to do with his area of expertise. If Gyn is only doctor one sees on a regular basis, this opinion can be a huge money saver and is much appreciated.

I like Dr. Perry and the main nurse very much but the office is very disorganized over the phone. I was instructed to call the office for test results and had to leave 14 messages with the receptionist before giving up and making an appointment. After that appointment, I had to call them 3 times to get them to send my paperwork and medical records to a doctor they referred. I call them so much to get them to do basic, normal tasks that I feel like I work there.

I love coming here because Dr. Perry genuinely cares about the health of his patients, what’s in their best interest, and wants them to be informed about what their insurance should be covering for them and any fees they may encounter. I just had my first visit here and it was a great experience. Dr. Perry is fantastic - he sits down and talks with you about your health and your concerns and goes over everything in detail. The office staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Bonus - parking is super easy!

I do not recommend this place to anyone. The staff, including the Doctor are all incompetent and disrespectful. It’s clear that this facility is only trying to take your money and could care less about your needs. First off I drove 40mins in crazy traffics just to be 15 mins late and then not see me. Thanks for wasted my gas. Receptionist had a little attitude tbh. Building is hard to find you’ll literally drive past it and not even know. It’s connected to a plaza of buildings. Office looked okay but won’t be going back here.

Dr. Perry has been my doctor for nearly 10 years. His office is always clean, comfortable, and professional, and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Scheduling appointments is easy and his staff has always worked to communicate with me and my insurance companies to ensure I am getting everything possible covered. I have always appreciated the way Dr. Perry is so communicative and has a great sense of humor, putting me at ease and taking the time to discuss any and all of my questions. I’ve been seeing Dr. Perry for about 4 or 5 years now, and my only complaints is that he doesn’t deliver babies anymore. He’s a WONDERFUL doctor, and very personable. He makes you feel comfortable, which you don’t always get with a male doctor (and sometimes female!) You don’t feel like just another patient. He actually listens to any concerns you have and really gives you his time. The staff is great too! They’re all very sweet and helpful. I highly recommend them!!!

He took time to meet with me prior to the check-up and we went over my medical history together. I really felt like he wanted to fully understand my reasons for coming in so he could provide the best services possible. We also met afterwards to address any concerns he or I had after the check-up. I would definitely recommend his practice to any woman I know. Receptionist and nursing were wonderful as well. I do NOT recommend this OBGYN because if this front-desk staff. Awful! My review from 2014: Best doctor I've ever met! I've dealt with gynecologists in Russia, on Bali, in Jamaica, and in the US... Dr. Perry amazed me! He answered ALL of my million questions. Frankly, I was very anxious. But it was a pleasant, stress-free experience, so I highly recommend this doctor.

TL/DR (for those who don't want to read a long review): A somewhat quick and professional, relatively dingy office with absolutely atrocious communication skills. I wouldn't normally write such a long review, but when it comes to reproductive health, I think we all deserve to know what we are getting into. In my search for an OB/GYN in the Atlanta area, I was surprised to find that one with such a high rating had appointments available within the week. I appreciated being able to get in so quickly, however beyond this I was unimpressed. The office itself is dingy, particularly the exam room, but that's sometimes to be expected of an intown practice. Upon being asked to provide a urine sample, I went to the bathroom and found I'd be placing my open dixie cup on a paper towel alongside two other open dixie cups containing strangers' samples. Gross, but not the end of the world. The doctor's examination was quick and professional, which was good, but when I went to his office for a discussion it all felt very rushed. That's alright; again, this is an intown practice. When the nurse took my blood it was incredibly painful. I've had blood taken many times in the last year and at no point felt this much pain. It hurt so bad I became dizzy and had to lay down. I'm not saying this will be your experience, but I do think it's something to note. Finally, I was told the doctor would call me within a week to give me the results of my visit and testing. A week later, I received a voicemail which only contained static noise; assumably there was a connection issue. Following this was a three week game of phone tag wherein I called at least once or twice a week asking for my results and was told that only the doctor could give them to me. Each time I was told to expect a call the next day, which never came. Finally, I received a call from the nurse (who previously told me at least twice that only the doctor could deliver my results) informing me that everything was fine with my testing. 3+ weeks waiting for the doctor to call, just to have a nurse I'd spoken with multiple times tell me everything was fine. I am not someone who enjoys writing bad reviews. In fact, I generally don't leave one at all unless I have had a good experience. But when it comes to medicine and personal health, this behavior is not okay. I will not return to this office. For the sake of their current and future patients, I hope the office sees this review and rethinks its policies about communication.

Dr. Perry takes the time to sit down with his patients, one on one, in his office. He never rushes and always reports to his patients in a timely manner. They always make room to get you in and ensure your health is priority. I love Atlanta Midtown Gynecology and do not plan on going anywhere to be seen.

Excellent and professional!!! Dr. Perry is the 2nd best OB/GYN I ever seen. (My 70+ year old OB that delivered my last baby was the best. Lol) I've had a bad Gynecologist in the past, so I haven't been to the GYN specifically for yearly well visits since 2006. All the paperwork is professional and necessary. I was self-pay and all charges were clear to me in advance. I definitely recommend this OB/GYN.

Honestly I have never been to another OB-GYN since my original doctor in my hometown, so I was pretty nervous to go to another doctor especially a male doctor. I chose to go to Dr. Perry because of the location/reviews I read. Dr Perry is professional, fast, and comfortable to talk with. I think I got lucky to find a new Gynecologist without having to search around too much!

BAD STAFF HEATHER!!! BAD BILLING!!!! Office miscoded some diagnoses, and refused to fix them, EVEN THOUGH THE INSURANCE COMPANY TOLD THEM THEY CODED WRONG!!!! Office still refused to do further research to correct the coding and sent me into collections for over $900.00!!! My insurance said they would have paid, if the office just redid the coding. SHAME ON THIS OFFICE!!!!!!!!
