When greeted by the receptionist I was asked for my insurance card, photo ID, and a "card." When asked what type of card, I was told it is to keep on file for billing purposes. I asked if I could get a copy of the written policy and was told by both the receptionist and office manager that there is no written policy for this and I could not be seen if I did not provide a card. I reluctantly gave a card for them to put on file and in turn was given an agreement stating that they can charge my card up to $1500 for "any amount not covered by insurance." It also stated that I could cancel the agreement at any time. I chose to cancel it immediatly and wrote this at the bottom of the page. The office manager told me I could not cancel at this time. I scribbled out the sentence I wrote to cancel and signed my initials. A few minutes later the office manager comes to tell me she spoke with Dr. Anderson and it is not a good fit for me or them. I was refused services. I asked to speak with one of the doctors twice and was told I could not. I am frustrated at the fact that they failed to inform me at any point during online registration or via confirmation emails/texts that they have a policy in which you MUST provide a credit/debit card or you will be refused services. And to top it all off, they don't even have this policy in writing in the office. I should also mention that I have a friend who visits this clinic regularly and she does NOT have a card on file and knew nothing of the policy. Reading the other reviews, it seems as though they have a habit of refusing patients for "office policies" that are not in writing.

I have been a patient of Dr.Andersen for many years and she is one of the kindest, caring doctors I know. She is now my daughters OBGYN also and I can't speak highly enough about her willingness to provide the best care, advice and help for her patients.

I strongly recommend Arbor to any woman looking for a receptive, respectful, and professional healthcare provider! High quality care and knowledgeable staff - without those frustrating, long waits! Dr. Sirisha Raju is my provider and I'm so grateful I found such a wonderful doctor - I give her an A+! I will keep going to her until she retires!!

The office lost my release forms and I did not find out about it until a month later. They did not look into my symptoms which have since worsened. Very unprofessional and would not recommend if you want to be taken seriously.

Friendly staff; I appreciated how the admin at the front desk walked me thru how they handle insurance filings and what to expect. HUGELY impressed at their online patient portal- solid piece of software, user friendly, and way less concerns with filing or transcription errors for me. Dr. Anderson was very knowledgeable and receptive to my questions. The lab tech was not the best at drawing blood, but overall it was a great experience.

Arbor is a beautiful office that's convenient and easy to get to. Lisa Holt really cares about her patients and remembers you (even if you only see her yearly). She makes you feel comfortable and the receptionists are nice and pleasant. Edit: After raving about this office and recommending a family member here. I feel obligated to change my review and to warn others. I will not be visiting this office again and will be switching to a diff. OB/GYN. It is unfortunate because I really liked Lisa Holt. My family member was scheduled to have surgery to remove a fibroid that has been bothering her for over a year now. Painful periods, sharp pains, etc. She met with Dr. Anderson who recommended her to Dr. Jewell in November and decided that the best route would be a Myometcomy. It is now January. Her surgery was scheduled for this past Monday, but on Sunday she received a call less than 10 hours before the surgery from Dr. Jewell stating that he had an injury and could not complete the surgery. She had taken 6 weeks of short term disability and mentally prepared herself and felt gutted. She then was put on Dr. Anderson's schedule for her surgery on Thursday. (It is Tuesday as I am writing this). She then received a call from the billing department 2 days before her surgery. The woman on the phone stated, "We run your surgery bill at the first of the year and this just hit my desk. It is what it is, there is nothing that I can do." She was unapologetic to the fact that her surgery IS 2 DAYS AWAY and had no means to come up with $1500 at the drop of a dime. She was willing to put down $500 and to be billed the rest later after the surgery (as a normal facility would do) NOPE. Arbor/Haven was unwilling to work with her. She has now had to cancel her surgery 2 days before and is now looking for another doctor to complete this. SO DISAPPOINTING. I thought that this facility was compassionate towards their patients, putting their health above all means -- but, I guess they're not. Find yourself another office.

I used to love this place, doctor Anderson is really good and professional. But will have to find another place because of their accountants. Due to their mistake I had to pay instead of insurance....

Dr. Anderson is the best. My first time was splendid. She provided all details, explained everything while moving swiftly through my appt.

I chose this practice for my first pregnancy because from the website it appeared to be a caring and patient friendly practice. However, the quality of care provided was incredibly disappointing and I ended up switching practices after a few months. The practice has a very assembly line feel. There was always long waits before I was seen and in my experience the practice put enormous pressure on patients to have any and all tests done, regardless of whether the results would even change how the patient would handle her pregnancy. Further, it was clear after a few visits that my file was not being reviewed. The final straw for me was when one of my results came back as needing further review and I did not even receive a phone call. I found this out via their online portal and as I had an appointment the next day went in to speak to the doctor. The doctor had no idea any of this was in my file and told me that everything looked good to go and then got up to rush off the next patient. When I questioned her about these results, she then looked at my file and said oh no we need to look into this. Needless to say, I left the practice. My new provider has been wonderful. They take time to discuss any questions I may have and our visits consist more of conversations and helpful advice than the assembly line, see-as-many-patients-as-possible-in-one-day feel I received from Arbor.

I was recently new to the practiced and saw Dr. Nicole Petchenik for a regular gyno exam. I have never had a doctor especially in this field spend so much time with me. I immediately felt so comfortable with her! She even told me about an article she thought would be good for me to read and took the time to email it to me. I will continue care with this practice! Dr. Anderson is fantastic. She is patient, kind, and genuinely cares about her patients. She has gone above and beyond any doctor I've ever worked with in the past, and I am extremely lucky to be seen at her practice.

My obgyn that I had for years retired and so I made an appointment with Dr. Nicole Petchenik at Arbor. She is understanding, patient, informative and you can tell she really does care. She takes time to answer all of the questions you may have (and I always have a lot of questions lol). I am so glad I chose this facility and very fortunate I am under Dr. Petchenik's care. I would recommend this office to a friend in a heartbeat.

Would definitely recommend this office. The staff are friendly and guided me through each every step. The doctor I was assigned to is Dr. Sirisha Raju and hands down she is the best doctor. She made me feel so comfortable and would listen to me very patiently. Glad I am in their hands.

Dr. Anderson is nothing short of amazing. She made me feel extremely comfortable with my first pregnancy. She was neutral, informative, stated facts, but was very warm and patient-oriented. She is a very responsive physician and the members of her staff were also warm, fun and caring. Dr. Anderson has a very genuine presence and you never feel rushed. Most times you can feel like just a number in the medical world, but my care was very individualized. I could not have prayed for another doctor to care for me and look out for the interest of the well-being of both me and my son. Some people are meant to do what they do...and she definitely met her calling. I am one happy and grateful patient.

I have so many mixed feelings about Arbor. I was a patient there for 3 years and recently delivered my first child in August. Dr. Raju was my primary doctor and I loved her. She was also super attentive and answered all of my questions when it came time for our plan to conceive. When I became pregnant I began seeing Lisa Holt, midwife for most of my prenatal appointments. I was put off by her early on when she repeatedly ignored some of my very concerning symptoms and instead told me I should 'drink more water and lay off the sodium and ask if I'm eating too much' (Im a very healthy, 125 pre pregancy weight. It didn't make sense to me that I was extremely swollen by week 23 of my pregnancy but apparently wasnt alarming to her) Sure enough I had severe pre-eclampsia and ended up delivering my daughter at 28 weeks. In my opinion Lisa blatantly missed my symptoms and instead criticized me. I feel that if I would have been seeing Dr. Raju or another Dr in the practice for my checkup appointments my symptoms would have been noticed and possibly could have prolonged my pregnancy. Instead my daughter and I were in severe danger and we in turn had a 3 month NICU stay. Dr. Anderson performed our c-section and was absolutely wonderful. All of the Dr.s who saw me in the hospital post-op were also wonderful but I can't bring myself to go back there. I 100% blame Lisa for the way my pregnancy played out. Obviously she did not cause my pre-e but If she would have listened to me early on things could have turned out much differently. Instead I had to diagnose my own symptoms. Arbor is a good practice with good Drs but this review is more to make other pregnant patients aware of the risks when only seeing a midwife for prenatal care.

I've been coming here for about 10 years now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Anderson is the best!

Sunshine Foster

I have been a patient of Lisa Holt and Dr. Anderson for 7 years. I first came into the practice when I was pregnant with my first child. The pregnancy was considered a high risk pregnancy because of my blood pressure. They held my hand and walked me through every step of the pregnancy as if I was one of the family. Since then I have had the pleasure of having my second child and continuing my gynecological check ups with them. The entire staff is so kind and truly cares about your health. They always take time to answer any questions I have to make sure I'm comfortable. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I have been a patient of Arbor Ob/Gyn since 1998 and have always received the highest level of care. Dr. Samantha Anderson and Lisa Holt delivered our first daughter, and even with the complications that occurred toward the end of that pregnancy and during delivery, we knew that we were in the most competent of hands. Lisa Holt delivered our second daughter, and she was with us all throughout the night and wouldn't leave us in the morning until our baby was born. Lisa has the most incredible bedside manner and just has a way of making her patients feel like they are her only patient. It is obvious how much she cares about giving you her full attention and the best care possible. Now that we are done having children, I continue to see Lisa for my routine care and I always know that I am going to have a wonderful experience. ~AB

Still in disbelief about how I was treated at this practice today! I arrived 15 minutes early this morning to fill out paper work as a first time patient. Upon arrival, I was informed that I had been given 2 options via voicemail the night prior to my appointment; either arrive 30 minutes early to set up a patient portal or join patient portal prior to arrival. After given the opportunity to set up the portal in the office and completing provided forms, I was informed the physician would not honor the appointment. After making childcare arrangements and traveling 30 minutes one way to arrive 15 minutes early and not be seen, I was livid! Will gladly find care from one of the other hundreds of physicians in the area. Ps. Have had literally hundreds of appointments over the last year for my daughter who has a disability. All of these physicians have also offered a patient portal and I have never participated. Is it my choice? Have never been refused services for her due to not participating.
