Unprofessional, this is my first pregnancy and i only chose this doctor because of the "good reviews" i saw online. My few appointments ive had went terrible i was sitting in the waiting area for just about a hr until i said something. last appointment i went to was suppose to have my blood taken and made me rush from talking to the doctor and the lady that was suppose to do it ran off. I was told to come back later or in my 4 week appointment staff acts as if they have no care in the world. Will never recommend Guys i wouldnt waste my time here go somewhere else not worth it.

Horrible first impression! Please don’t bother going here for your pregnancy care. I never got to meet doctor Adams but as for his nurse practitioner, she had a very cocky judge mental personality and didn’t seem interested in my concerns. She failed to fill a prescription for nausea even after three days of me calling to remind her. They lied multiple times saying it was put in or it would be put in only to find out they sent a prescription for prenatals I didn’t even request nor needed. I made them aware of that and they kept saying the nausea pills would be in by the end of the day etc I even was stuck waiting over the weekend throwing up etc. lies and horrible communication.

Run while you can! Dr. Anthony Adams and Barbara Austin lack communication and empathy towards it patients. If you are a first time mom they expect you to know everything that’s going on. Expect to be there an longer than you anticipated!!! You sit in the media room and watch employees and personnel scramble and have side bar conversation and they never tell you what’s going on. Barbara Austin and Linda have the worst customer service / hospitality whatsoever. Barbara — to be a lot older than other women there she seems like she doesn’t want to be there and she sassy and has a smart mouth and an attitude every visit. If you don’t like dealing with people - PREGNANT people especially quit your job. No one what’s to go to a facility where individuals don’t feel welcome and appreciate. Oh the other hand, Kristy the Medical Administrator is great - about the only one who’s willing to go above and beyond to satisfy patients there.

Aside from having to go to Riverdale for ultrasounds, I like Dr. Adams but that front desk staff is awful! I had a few awful experiences with them so far, but none has been as bad as when I wasn't feeling my baby move and they said he was out of the office and they couldn't help me. My insurance isn't paid for by the government but they treat you as though you're trying to get something for free and I actually used him as an OBGYN because he was conveniently close to my job. But after this, I am done! People always say, "Support Black-owed businesses" and when you do, this stuff happens. His nurses are great but the people at the desk are a nightmare and make it so that you don't even want to come back and for me, I won't. That staff he has deserves no stars. If you have good insurance and the means to travel, just go to Fayetteville.

This was my first time at the gynecologist EVER! I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or embarrassed not once! The staff was very nice! They made me feel like home! Everyone was well mannared , no one was rude , I love this place and will be returning for future appointments! I really recommend going here !

Omg!! If I could scream don’t come here literally I would! First off the wait time is really pitiful.. my appointment was at 11:00. The office themselves rescheduled me for 10:45am I’m thinking cool I’ll be out even earlier. Wrong Again it’s currently 1:30 I have to drive over an hour to work and I’m still sitting in a room waiting for someone to see me... If you’re looking for timely service this place is not it.. I watched people get called back after I had already been here for over an hour.. I mean what’s the point of an appointment if I’m treated like a walk-in I could have gotten better and faster care at the ER. This was my first and last time at this establishment I will never return.

I dodged a huge bullet with them .acurianhealth contacted me about going through them for an fibroid study. I never got a call from them . then when I tried to call ,I left a message.noone returned my call then when I called the next day to try to get somebody the person hung up in my face from apogee. I decided to not go through them & complained to acurianhealth to find another clinic for me to go to. I posted my feedback on their page &on Google & on Yelp . they decided to delete my review. shows how professional they are. some female,piper tried to contact me via Yelp telling me basically a bunch of Bull.next thing I know they removed my review from yelp. somebody from that clinic contacted me trying to get me to come in to complete the case study after I complained to acurian. but I declined ,yet Piper is saying that they have nothing to do with acurianhealth .odd..you had somebody contact me about committing a study from their Clinic after I complained to acurian.yet there's no correlation w/acurian?yeah,ok... so happy I dodged this bullet dealing with them .after reading the reviews I'm definitely not impressed...funny,they deleted my review. Truth hurts..

Made an appointment for Feb 18th (Presidents Day) which I remember specifically asking if they would be open. The young receptionist said yes, got there and was told my appointment was for the following Monday. How when I (1) asked about the holiday (2) repeated the date and time of my appointment. Had to come back the next day. Needed to have my annual exam redone because they didn't have enough cells from the first one. Which means more money. I've been getting bills left and right from this place and LabCorp. Kristen was supposed to call me back "by end of business day" regarding asking a question about my condition and to make sure that I would be able to see the Doctor for treatment and not another follow-up appointment. She never called and they close at 1pm on Fridays. Spent all weekend stressing over what was going to happen for my appointment on Monday. Called back on Monday and Kristen has the WORST attitude. She said she didn't call me back because she didn't have any answer. Oookkkaayy then why not call and SAY that?? Then she had an attitude and told me she had a dentist appointment and her tooth hurts so she didn't have time to call me. I immediately cancelled my appointment and went to another provider, who actually diagnosed and treated me on the same visit. This place is a joke, the wait times are TERRIBLE, the internal waiting rooms are dingy and twice I put my urine sample into the window and there was someone else's sample there that hadn't been moved. GROSS!! Word to the wise, stay away from this place!

Apogee has been my primary gynecology office for the past 18+yrs. Dr Adams has been my gynecologist for the past 18+yrs, he is one of the best doctors out there, he has done all my surgeries, great person who listens and will give you great advice. Thank you Dr.Adams and staff.

I'm usually the one reading reviews not writing them, but this one is necessary! Disorganized is an understatement. I never really had an issue with them before. I understand how busy their facility is and sometimes the expected wait time is over 45mins. They can work that out with better organization when schedule appointments. No facility is perfect, and there's always room for improvement. I started my prenatal care pretty late at Apogee Women's Health, but Barbara Clark was very helpful with getting me up to speed with blood work, the ultra-sound for growth and development, measurements, etc. Here's my issue: Last week Thursday the 7th I emailed receptionist Kristen my medical release form, which she received. What she did with that information I'm uncertain about. I plan on doing a water birth at a new facility and in order to set an appointment there my medical records need to be turned in, so I can prepare for the last 7-8 weeks of pregnancy. I called Apogee Womens Health after the weekend on Tuesday the 12th for an update and was told by Kristen that she had a lot of work to do on Monday so she wasn't able to start processing my documents. I asked her for an estimated time, because she stated that the Doctor also has to approve of my documents before it is sent to another facility. She told me by Friday the 15th she should be completed with everything by then. So I call around 11am Friday the 15th Kristen answers and automatically places me on hold for 20 mins. I called back and a younger inexperienced receptionist answered stating that my medical records could be sent the same day I request it as long as I have filled out a medical release form. She then puts me on hold for about 10-15 mins to speak with Kristen. The younger receptionist gets back on the phone to tell me that she doesn't know my situation since kristen is in charge of it and told me they'll give me a call back. I refused to be called back it's been a week. A week closer to my due date and I'm unable to set up an appointment at a new facility because the lack of organization and professionalism at this medical establishment. This is ridiculous. She puts kristen on the phone and to defuse the situation she claims she'll send my documentation Friday 15th and give me a call back. It is now Saturday the 16th their office is closed. I will be giving her a call again on Monday morning and if there's no results I'll be personally coming in on Tuesday morning to have a chat, and if it continues to be an issue I WILL get a lawyer and sue this disorganized trash of a facility.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS DOCTOR'S OFFICE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!! I WENT IN YESTERDAY TO DISCUSS WITH DR. ADAMS ABOUT POSSIBLY DOING A TUBAL LIGATION REVERSAL. THE NURSE PRACTITIONER OR FAMILY PRACTITIONER WHATEVER SHE WANTS TO CALL HERSELF WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. SHE TOLD ME THAT BECAUSE I SIGNED A CONSENT TO TIE MY TUBES THAT I COULD NOT GET THEM UNTIED AND THAT I WAITED TO LATE AND ALSO LOOK INTO ADOPTING A PET!! I HAD MY NEW OBGYN OFFICE FAX OVER A MEDICAL RELEASE FORM ON MAY 31 2019 AND THEY STATE THEY NEVER RECEIVED IT BUT I HAD AN OFFICE VISIT YESTERDAY AND THERE WAS THE MEDICAL RELEASE FORM ON THE DESK OF ONE OF THE LADIES THAT WORK THERE!!! SHE GONE TELL ME THAT THE REASON THAT THE MEDICAL RECORD DID NOT GET FAXED OVER WAS BECAUSE THE MEDICAL RELEASE FORM WAS IN THE WRONG SPOT!!!! I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS OFFICE AND I WILL BE CALLING THE OFFICE MANAGER TO LET HER KNOW THAT THIS IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE!!! I AM A NURSE AT WELLSTAR AND THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS OFFICE IS DR. ADAMS!!! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE AS POSSIBLE!!!

Where do I start. This is my first pregnancy and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Staffing horrible from the receptionist to their one gynecologist Barbara. Extremely dirty no ac just a fan plug up sitting on a stand. No organization. Every time you go in for your appointment there is over an 1hr 1/2 wait also they never no why you are there.

My daughter was suppose to get her HPV Shot, we got there after making the appt waited 1 hour for them to say " oh we dont have the hpv shot here, you have to go somewheres else for that" THEN WHY NOT TELL ME THAT OVER THE PHONE DUMMY!!! . It was OK my 1st and 2nd trimesters. I got in my 3rd which I feel like I should get more attention and more information about my pregnancy. Currently 37 and 4 days never had my cervix checked. They said they felt the baby head down but the next day I went to the high risk doc they said the baby is breached. All u know is that I will need a c-section at 39 weeks . Nothing has been scheduled. I never had a c-section so I have questions but the doc rush you out of the room after 5 mins but make u wait an hr or more before he comes in. If I get pregnant again I will never choose this place
