Have had 4 ct scans in the past 6 months. All were fast and on-time. Costs were far lower than any hospital would be. Staff was professional and friendly. One free CD of images is provided at time of service if requested. I could not be more pleased with the services I received there.

I must say...... This Facility was convenient as I work downtown Atlanta, but live in Rockdale. The staff was extremely helpful, kind, and concerned! And this is from the time I made my appointment, until the time I left out of that office .Excellent customer service from top to the bottom, which includes again the location, the cleanliness of office, the Human Customer Service that we all should receive wherever we go! #PEOPLEARESTILLKIND!

Great service, very professional everytime. Excellent hours for working professionals. No complaints from me. Regarding the person who complained about not seeing their images. MRI's are too complex for a lay person to read them them for themself. That's what all those YEARS of medical school and residency training is for. The fly-by, internet self-trained "experts" are doing themself a disservice by thinking they can do a better job than the radiologist can. My doc gets their report or copies of the images very quickly. I have never had any glitches working with them and I have had several studies with them.

The person who checked me in was very nice and helpful- the female sitting in the left window when you walk in. As I sat there I was forced to hear the lady that sits in the Center at the front desk go off about several things. I have outlined my concerns below: 1- a technician came up to tell the ladies they scheduled a MRI instead of a CT scan, or maybe vs versa. The point being the lady started talking about how the tech needed to straighten her attitude just like a lot of other people. She continued to go on about fellow employees, her unhappiness, etc. She had a terrible attitude and was so loud I couldn't help but think it was for all to hear. 2- which is the final straw and reason I'm doing this. She told the lady bringing me back for my xray (who was very nice and polite) that I was ignoring her when she called my name. As I told the lady calling my name I wouldn't do that and I didn't hear my name. I don't appreciate being accused of being a jerk which is what that is saying about me. In reality the lady must be reflecting because she made the false accusation. 3- my doctor praised you saying you take scheduled appointments because you guys are very mindful of a patient's time. So I should be in and out of this appointment. Nope, took 1 hour. I will be letting my doctor know that the happy and great reports she gave me are in fact false, all of them. No patient needs to hear what sounds like a hostle work environment while they are waiting a hour to be seen or any period of time for that matter. Further, if your staff must accuse someone of being rude maybe they should be big enough to say it to their face or at least take it to the back in private.

The staff is nice but they dont keep they're word when it comes to your appointment. I got there 30 minutes before my appointment like I was told by them to do, only to be seen 20 minutes later after my appointment. I feel like if healthcare offices are strict about the patients being on time they should follow the strict procedures aswell.

The system was down when I walked in the door. Everyone in the waiting room was on edge. They were getting nasty phone calls as well. I have had several MRIs in the past. I'm a very good patient. I know what's expected and how to act. The office staff was not concerned with any of my special billing requests. They told me how it was going to be. The tech wouldn't even show me my images at the end! They're mine! And I paid for them!! I know they don't give medical advice or consult. I just wanted to view my images while she attempted to put them all on a disc. The tech was unsure if she could even get them all on a disc for me. Hopefully their radiologist is really as good as I've heard. I'm not very impressed with this facility. If you get cold or want a panic button because you're claustrophobic? Don't come here.

Absolutely terrible and incompetent. They called once telling me to come in early for a CT scan at 430pm. I called to verify and they said to come in 45 minutes early. Went in at 345pm and told me they had to reschedule because I was supposed to come in an hour early. Wasted my time. Be clear when people are supposed to come in!!

The service with the technician was great. There are serious problems with the front end personnel. Appointments are forgotten. You show up and they don't know why you are there or the paperwork is in complete. I waited 2.5 hors for an appointment with no apologie. People get it together. Customer service is important.

The staff seemed nice, however, the wait time is absolutely absurd. My mother had an appointment at 5:30pm. We arrived 15 minutes earlier as recommended in order to fill out some paperwork. After playing the waiting game for 30 minutes, now 6pm, she was taken back for 10-15 minutes, only to be told that she can wait til 7:30 for another appointment because whoever was supposed to relay messages and notes left out the part, which was told beforehand, that my mother is chlostorphobic. Moral of the story: If you planned to have things to do or errands to run after your appointment, go ahead and cancel them.

I came today at 9:20, to find out I could have made an appointment, but was not offered that over the phone. At arrival I was told it would be 30-45 min. wait. After over an hour watching other walk in clients being taken in, I went to ask what is going on. I was told they were waiting for my insurance. Miraculously, that was ready and waiting as soon as they checked. Then I was told I would have to wait another hour to be actually taken is, because the technician was behind. The manager at the site was nothing but defensive of the procedure. There was a form apology when I asked if they consider this a good practice. The receptionist who took my paperwork is sneezing and blowing her nose. When I addressed it with the manager, I was told she has allergies. Over-all some of the worst customer service I've seen in a long time, and they do not appear to be particularly concerned about it.

Easy to find. Very friendly staff. Its diagonally across the street from Emory Dekalb (Dekalb medical). Bathrooms are clean. They play commercials of their company on the tv. Very large inside with lots of seating especially for bariatric patients. Small parking lot though. The bus does stop in front of the building.

First and foremost I was well pleased to have the option of coming to America Health Imagining. I was told that I would have to have a CT scan at the hospital and that with my insurance it would cost $500.00 out of pocket. I told my wife that if we couldn't find a better option, I was not going to have the CT performed. She called Blue Cross and Blue Shield to find another option and they recommended American Health Imagining. The staff was professional and helpful. The scam was just what my Doctor needed. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Did I mention that they saved us $500, with no out of pocket cost?

Please dont go here i lost 900$ for something they said i was approved to take by an insurance company which they didnt approved. After i moved to a different address a year later a collection againce tooled me i need to pay it up just before Christmas. It destroyed my credit score which i worked hard to improve. They are destroying my life now. I am praying to God to let me out of this nightmare of this money i dont have. Its just 1 step up and 10 steps under the ground it feels like everyday.

I had a great experience. They called me to make an appt after my doctor sent the referral. Then I got a text reminder which was helpful. I called day of and they were able to tell me my co-pay - no surprises. Check in was easy. Only filled out 1 short form and signed a couple of things. They were prompt and friendly. Waited then about 10 minutes to be called back. The technician was friendly and explained everything clearly. Even made nice small talk! I felt very comfortable and the X-ray was quick and easy. Highly recommend.

For the most part, these people were polite, but they are not competent at their jobs. On my first visit, they waited until my arrival to tell me my paperwork was incomplete. Apparently, the woman I had emailed my documents had not forwarded them to the required people, and she was on vacation, of course, on the day of my scans. Because I had emailed them, I was able to retrieve them on my phone and resend them, which enabled me to do the scans anyway. From that point, I waited quite a long time to be seen. Despite these bumps in the road, this location did save me nearly $150 over what I was billed at my prior radiology department (but you get what you pay for). Against my better judgment, I decided to use them again, especially since I am required to do routine scans. This was a big mistake. They called me less than 24 hours before my appointment to tell me there was a problem with my insurance, who did not give approval for the scans. Of course, when I called my insurance, they informed me that American Health Imaging (AHI) had never forwarded a request, which I believe since they lost my request from the 1st visit. They then assured me they would make a rush request and would check in with me to confirm when I could come in again for the scan. They did follow up one time to tell me the approval had not come through yet, and they would call as soon as it did. The woman who made this call was very polite, but then I did NOT hear from them for more than 2 weeks. I just got off the phone with an extremely unprofessional woman to whom I told my story. After I finished, she remained silent for an extremely long and uncomfortable pause. I said "Hello?" and she still paused before saying, "I'm checking." The story this time was that my doctor who made the request was out-of-network. I'm not sure why that matters since I'm allowed to see out-of-network doctors. These people impress me as folks who are stumbling through jobs they don't particularly like, and they show little appreciation for the predicaments that require people to come to them in the first place. If you don't mind risking waiting around for lengthy periods of time beyond your appointment, and getting the unnecessary run around to jump through unnecessary hoops, it might be worth it. They made the experience so unpleasant for me, however, I'd rather pay the extra $150 for my next scan. I will definitely NOT be returning.

I tried to schedule an appointment for a sprained ankle. They said that I would have to wait 15 days to come in. Why would I even need to do that in two weeks? A sprained ankle is time sensitive. They don't seem to want to help people.

Patient care was great - trying to get a refund for OOP amount paid up front was a mess! Was told when I called in early March that it would be credited back to my card by the end of the month - it's now 4/4 and I still don't have my refund even though my insurance paid the claim in full! Had the shoe been on the other foot and I didn't pay them timely, I'm sure I would be with a collection agency after a month of waiting......

I needed an MRI of my shoulder and they were able to see me that evening. Super friendly and efficient at the front desk. The radiology tech was great too. I ended up getting a bit stressed out and clausterphobic and he was very patient and comforting towards my situation.

Just referred a long time friend to schedule her MRI here ... Just looked at a review: the people working there DO NOT have to know what the images say nor are they supposed to interpret them ... they are radiology technicians or technologists. AMI, gets you quickly scheduled, in and out (the three or four times I've had to be there), and they are less EXPENSIVE when compared to the hospital, for one!!

I am really shocked at the low scores here. I had two procedures here and dealt with many different people. I only had surprisingly good experiences with all of it. Really above and beyond what I expected. Genuinely nice people, excellent customer service and beautiful facility. I even had them call me to let me know I was overcharged (due to insurance) and refunded the money. With most places that would be a nightmare ordeal that I would have had to initiate. PERFECT experience here.

Staff was very friendly..I had an evening appointment which was very convenient, oppose morning appts..I suggest if you are coming for a MRI ,come after 5:00pm to beat the crowd.. Overall my visit was a pleasant one I would highly recommend American Health Imaging..my rating is 5

The folks doing the imaging do not have a clue what the images taken mean. I asked on the phone and told them in person what i am expecting to get out of the image. They aid yes and okay... Then it turns out the image has nothig to do with what i am looking to get out of it. Despite their clear incompetence, They refused to cancel the transaction.

I have MS and have my MRI's done at American Health Imaging for over 10 years. I have also had Ultra Sounds and CT scans. I have never had an issue and have always been treated with kindness and respect. Yes, I have waited 30 min past my appointment time, one time but usually do not have a problem. Reading some of the reviews.......one person upset because she did not have an appt, had to wait a long time and so they could get her insurance approved.......that is ridiculous for her to write a bad review because of her stupidity!

I came here for a CT scan and an MRI. The staff was very nice, friendly, and professional. I had everything done quickly. My only qualm is the copay they charged me. I was charged $300 and then refunded after over a month when my insurance paid for it.

The staff seemed nice here, but I don't understand this place. You have a phone recording that roughly says, "At most hospitals, an MRI can cost you $2,500! I am really shocked at the low scores here. I had two procedures here and dealt with many different people. I only had surprisingly good experiences with all of it. Really above and beyond what I expected. Genuinely nice people, excellent customer service and beautiful facility. I even had them call me to let me know I was overcharged (due to insurance) and refunded the money. With most places that would be a nightmare ordeal that I would have had to initiate. PERFECT experience here.

Staff was very friendly..I had an evening appointment which was very convenient, oppose morning appts..I suggest if you are coming for a MRI ,come after 5:00pm to beat the crowd.. Overall my visit was a pleasant one I would highly recommend American Health Imaging..my rating is 5

The folks doing the imaging do not have a clue what the images taken mean. I asked on the phone and told them in person what i am expecting to get out of the image. They aid yes and okay... Then it turns out the image has nothig to do with what i am looking to get out of it. Despite their clear incompetence, They refused to cancel the transaction.

Great experience. Super easy to schedule an appointment and get in for an MRI. (Called on Monday pm, appointment on Wednesday am.). They were on time, super quick process, and provided fast results/reading of the MRI. I highly recommend getting an MRI or whatever image you need done here.

I have MS and have my MRI's done at American Health Imaging for over 10 years. I have also had Ultra Sounds and CT scans. I have never had an issue and have always been treated with kindness and respect. Yes, I have waited 30 min past my appointment time, one time but usually do not have a problem. Reading some of the reviews.......one person upset because she did not have an appt, had to wait a long time and so they could get her insurance approved.......that is ridiculous for her to write a bad review because of her stupidity!

I came here for a CT scan and an MRI. The staff was very nice, friendly, and professional. I had everything done quickly. My only qualm is the copay they charged me. I was charged $300 and then refunded after over a month when my insurance paid for it.

The actual service is wonderful, very professional technician. The problem is getting the results. My Doctor never received them, I had to call three times to get them faxed and I still haven't gotten the results. I'll probably have to drive over and pick them up.

Very unprofessional. All about money. The office had a week to advise me of any money that would be do on my visit. I find out about my payment when I get to my visit. The only options according to the receptionist is to pay, apply for credit or reschedule. My office procedure was the next day so there was no other option otherwise I would have cancelled and scheduled at another facility. While waiting another patient complained about not receiving a call about payment due. The same lame excuse was given about that it was just a slip up. The only reason they are receiving a 2 star rating is the tech was wonderful!! update: they actually overcharged me and it has been 2 months and I still have not received my refund after calling the billing department 3 times!!!

Then had to continually call them to send my results, Kept insisting that they didn't have a phone number to the sending doctor. My doctor did not receive the results for over three weeks. Then when took films to compare said they never received films. Go somewhere else!

I tried asking my technician how much radiation my CT scan would involve and she was dumbfounded. She then tried to tell me it was "the same as standing outside". She showed a painful lack of understanding of what she was doing and clearly has no care for details. Some fat white lady with a southern accent.

I have been to this location 2-3 times. Wait times are awful, even with appointments. The administrative staff are.. less than impressive. The clinical staff are professional but seem hurried. Definitely seems like appropriate scheduling is not being followed.

Had my MRI done.. everything was standard until they had to pump me with the contrast. My technician was good, friendly, checked twice, understood that she couldnt find my vein so she went to get help... the second guy however.... let's just say I've given blood before, I've had blood tests done, I know my veins can be found and on the first attempt too. The second guy stuck me two times before making me wait about 10 minutes for a third person to come stick me. That person was busy so the second guy comes back, this time giving me two tourniquets and wanted to put it in my hand...I had to point out where to put it while not being able to move my head. The second attempt was the worst, after going in, he dug around
