Have been going here for botox for the last couple of years and have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Raulsh. Since then I got pregnant and selected them as my OB provider as the obvious choice since they have a sparkling reputation. I absolutely love Dr. Borodo, she is so sweet, full of helpful information and always makes me feel at ease. There is a reason everyone in Tampa goes here for their pregnancy/labor needs, they have a reputation that is rock solid.

This place is bad! 1. Every time I visited during the pregnancy, I got different doctors (I understand it's how they operate.) Among all the doctors there, I only recommend Dr. Serrano and Dr. Peden. Some doctors didn't even read the chart before coming the room. Like they still asked "Are we having a boy or a girl?" during the 3rd trimester. 2. 80% of the time I visited, there was a long wait regardless of the time of my appointment. 3. You don't know who will be delivering your baby if you choose to have nature birth. It's all based on your luck that who is on call that day. 4. It's all about $$$. Everything is prepaid prepaid prepaid! The day after I delivered my son, I asked Dr. Butler if she could have my son circumcised while we were all still in the hospital. She refused it since I did not prepay. I offered to pay on the spot, but she still said NO. A week later, I went in the office and paid $250 to get it done. Afterward, the Dr office billed the insurance company and got paid from it so I asked for the refund. Called several times in the past 4 months, last month they said the check was ready and would be sent out soon. As of now, still get nothing. I will have to call them again tomorrow.

Most of the doctors are amazing! But Dr. Serrano is beyond amazing! I've been going to her for almost 9 years now and she is delivering my child next month. She always takes her time explaining everything for me and simply being a friend while still being professional! I highly recommend this office and my second favorite OB/GYN is Dr. Rousch. These two ladies, staff and overall office is amazing.

Clarissa Hernandez

I've been seeing Dr. Carmen Peden at The Women's Group since 2012 and my experience has been one of excellence. I'm appreciative for her care, knowledge, and empathy. Also the staff is outstanding! I highly recommend this practice!!!

Taylor Holland

I absolutely love my doctor she’s amazing! However the front office staff at the Riverview location is so very rude.

Candace Riley

My doctor was very unprofessional, doesn't follow rules regarding PHI and made assessments and diagnosis on my health prior to getting any official testing done. Just guess work doesn't do when you're dealing with someone's health. I will not be returning. If you want a physician to monitor your health using guess work this is the place for you.

I've had 5 visits, including a procedure, in the past month. Each and every visit, I have had to sit and wait at a minimum of 45 minutes past my appointment time. My procedure took place 2 hours after the scehduled time. They attempted to overcharge me $225 and only had the issue resolved by getting BCBS involved. It's been 3 weeks since they claimed to be sending me a refund check which I still haven't received. They will not let you in to the doctor unless your are paid up front, regardless of any disputed charges. The receptionists are rude and uninformed. My post-op is today and this will be the last I ever visit this office, regardless of whether or not I actually liked my doctor. Oh and by the way, for routine visits, you don't get to see a doctor, they push you off on a Nurse Practioner. It's the Southwest of OB/GYNs.

If I could give 0 stars I would that’s how terrible these doctors and staff are. I am a chronic hypertensive patient. I saw this group in the Riverview and South Tampa office. Every appointment I saw a new doctor. No one really knew you or anything about your pregnancy. I am a registered nurse and work in a hospital for women and babies and let me tell you this place is awful!!! Compared to where I work. Because of this group who did not put me back on any hypertension medicine while I was pregnant even though I asked many of times to be placed on meds due to my pressures being a little high and each doctor dismissed my worry “I didn’t need it” . Towards the last month of my pregnancy I was complaining of signs of pre-eclampsia. I was prescribed 1 hypertensive medicine. 2 days later my blood pressure was over 200/119. My husband rushed me to the hospital that I worked at and through blood work, urine samples and blood pressures I was diagnosed with severe pre-eclampsia and was scheduled to deliver my son 2 weeks later at 34 weeks if my blood pressure would remain stable. I was admitted to my hospital on numerous drips to control my pressures, on magnesium IV to make sure my son didn’t have any neurological defects and that I didn’t have a seizure. 3 days later my blood pressures raised more and I have to be transferred to the ICU. My son was born 2 days later at 33 weeks and 6 days. My hospital saved my sons life and mines. Ladies I had begged for months for meds for my pressures, I had to beg for nausea meds when I vomited 2-3 times a day everyday. I even busted a blood vessel in my eye from vomiting and I had to argue to get Zofran for my nausea. If you care about your baby don’t come to this group. Run as fast as you can!!!. This group failed me and failed my son. It’s been 2 months and they still haven’t refunded me for my sons circumcision. This place is money hungry and only care about the all mighty dollar and not you as a patient. Believe me when I tell you I know the law and if anything is wrong with my son, your offices will pay for it dearly.

Barbara Jeziorski

Highly recommend this group. The Doctors in the group are all amazing. The group including the office staff are all very welcoming. I have been a patient for many years and have been seen by different Doctors in the group. I currently see Dr Roush, I just love her ! She has always been so sweet, doesn’t not rush and takes her time with you..she listens. Again, highly recommend this group , my Doctor or any other in the group. Hence “ the Woman’s Group”.

I have been going here for three years, and my mother has been going for 5-7. They are very professional and very prompt. I've had little to NO problems at all with the staff here. I had to call twice after hours, and less than 10 minutes after the call, I'd hear from the on call doctor. They are very lenient and are eager to please. Very professional indeed!

Saengkham Keongam

I had my baby 2.5 months ago and Dr.Peden did the circumcision for my son, the next day after he was born. When she brought him back, she advised me that my son slept during the whole process, when then she could have taken time to do the procedure correct. And now when I think about it the circumcision didnt looked done correctly, bc she didnt take enough skin off. The foreskin has now reattached as if the circumcision was never done. I was never told about any complications that could occur. And when I called The Women's Group in Tampa, she couldnt even call me back, and instead a medical assistant called me. The assistant told me they would only correct the problem within 2days, which isnt even enough time to heal and just told me I have to go to a urologist.

3 of the doctors (Peden, Roush, Serrano) I saw were very very sweet, but I had an unpleasant experience with Dr. Butler. She didn't even remember doing my surgery when I came in for a follow up appointment and asked if I needed to still schedule one. And then proceeded to have her back turned towards me the entire time we were talking. Extremely rude and insensitive, especially since I had just suffered a miscarriage and that is what my surgery was for. I unfortunately heard some other negative stories about her from friends of mine after that, so I've decided to go elsewhere for my future OBGYN care. It made me feel very overlooked and like they lack organization, which makes me not trust them to take care of me if there was ever a serious emergency.

Kelly Harrison

When I moved to Lakeland I wad frustrated with the options available to me for Prenatal care. I found that Dr. Carmen Peden was located in Tampa. (She had started my prenatal care with our first child and we loved her.) She was amazing through my entire pregnancy and even came to the hospital to assist in my emergency c section 6 weeks premature, when she wasn't even the on call doctor. Dr. Ingram did my c section and was equally amazing. Thanks to Dr. Cohen's precautions, and instance that I be observed in the hospital, our second baby was born healthy although a little early. I love the Women's Group aND would recommend them to anyone seeking great doctor/patient relationships and care!

Shery B

I was in and out within 1 hour of my appointment time. The facility is clean, organized, and friendly. I was seen my Dr. Sasha Gourgue and she was amazing! Professional, thorough, and personable. I work in the medical field so my expectations can be a little high but Dr. Gourgue met them with flying colors! Definitely recommend her and the practice!

I am 18 weeks into my pregnancy and am now looking for a different OB-GYN because this place (yes, the W Virginia Ave location) has been HORRIBLE. I had my first child in Texas and had a great experience with my OB-GYN, but this experience has been the opposite in every way. You see different nurses, doctors, etc every time you visit so nobody knows you or anything about your pregnancy unless they read the chart or ask you to fill them in, which gets old. I feel like a number at this place going in and out a revolving door along with a bunch of other numbers/patients. Good luck reaching anyone on the phone, it's impossible. Further, I was in a car accident two weeks ago and needed to follow up with this office the next day, imagine my surprise when I called in to try to come in (on a Wednesday) and the ENTIRE OFFICE WAS CLOSED FOR THE DAY. Unbelievable. These are just a few of my complaints. If you are fine with having unempathetic, impersonal, rude people caring for you and you are okay with not knowing who will deliver your baby, then by all means this is the place for you. But it's NOT the place for me.

Morgan Gonzalez

I can’t say enough fantastic things about this group! All of the MDs are thorough, considerate, and true masters of their practice. Through every step of the way they take the time to listen to my million questions, calm my fears, and provide top notch care. I would recommend them to friends and family for anything from GYN to OB to general wellness. Two thumbs up!

Michele Krohn

We drive all the way from Clearwater just to see this group of wonderful physicians! They took care of us with our first child when we lived in South Tampa and now with our second child. Patricia, the OB nurse is like family to us and is always there for all of our questions and concerns! She truly cares about her patients. Tamara just lights up the office with her smile! I recommend this group to everyone looking! My husband and I joke with them that because of the how wonderful they are there, that we're going to keep having babies!

Russell Bly

My wife had an appointment to see doctor Waybar in Land O'Lakes for a routine visit. She was given a packet to sign, including documents to waive her right to a jury trial if the doctor screwed up. Who in their right mind would sign this? What's more, Dr Wahbar's receptionist said the doctor would not honor the doctors appointment unless my wife waived her rights. Is the doctors office expecting incompetency? I hope all women understand what they are signing away when they visit this OB/GYN.

Nicole Golden

I absolutely LOVE this place! I have been going for the past 7 years, have delivered three babies with these doctors and will deliver one more in September. They are phenomenal and very attentive. I refer everyone I know here! I personally see Dr. Butler. She is AMAZING!

Ami Parrino

My mother went to this establishment today with a kidney infection and several worrying symptoms relating to perimenopause. After waiting for over an hour, she was quickly dismissed and told to "take vitamins and seek mental health counseling." She left this facility, after her "yearly checkup" with no tests having been performed, no answers, feeling completely defeated. Hands down, the worst patient care.

B1784

Consistently wait an hour to see a doctor. That's my main complaint. Secondary to that, the doctors are a combination of not very knowledgeable and not very thorough. You meet with the nurse and tell them your complaints. I've tested the doctors to see if they even review the complaints the nurse put in the computer. The last several appointments it has been, "baby moving? listen to the heartbeat, ok you are good to go." And I say no, no, no... how about asking me how I'm doing? Did you read the nurse notes about what my complaints are? How about asking me if I have questions or concerns? I told my doctor I wanted labs because I was having the following symptoms, and she asked ME what kind of labs I wanted drawn. I told HER, and luckily we found out what I was suffering from and what supplements I needed. Basically, you have to be a very proactive and knowledgeable patient to get your money's worth with this practice. If you don't speak up, you run the risk of things going unnoticed because they certainly don't thoroughly inquire about anything. These doctors are triple booked for appointment times and the practice makes it obvious they care about nothing more than getting you in and out. You would think they would be inclined to extend hours or add doctors if they are going to continue to take patients. If they were not affiliated with St. Joseph's, I wouldn't use them. To end on a positive note, the ultrasound techs are amazing.

I spend days calling the womens group when I needed an emergency appointment. It would always go to their cheesy recording with the british lady saying thank you for calling the womens group. I emailed them, setup an online account and even waited on hold for 20+ mins. A day later..nothing. I was hoping to see them since their doctors had raving reviews and I was new to the area looking for a good obgyn. Finally after 2 days of waiting on hold to speak with someone numerous times I finally got thru. The girl on the phone "seemed nice" when I asked if they had any openings that day. Her answer was no you would have to wait a week. I didnt want to do this with a urinary tract infection, she didnt seem to care. When I asked for a referral to another doctor who could see me the same day she recommended me to this practice with one star in Tampa, FL. Obviously wasnt going there. I ended up seeing Dr. Steven Welden and am so happy I did. Dont go to this place..they just want your money.

I DO NOT recommend any of The Women's Group offices if you wish to have a pleasant visit/OB experience. The front desk staff are rude and unprofessional and the office staff is also rude and completely unprofessional. It is not easy to get a hold of anyone you need to speak with in any department, and phone calls and messages are never returned in a timely manner. If i could rate zero stars, this would get a ZERO!

Audrey Wyzard

I was having problems with my birth control and I wanted to get into a doctor as soon as possible so I took the first doctor available. FIRST MISTAKE. I saw Dr. Cohen who had no interest in hearing my problems, but rather wanted to belittle me, take my money, and get me out of there as fast as possible. Her tech that drew my blood had better bedside manners than her. She was not gentle in the SLIGHTEST and that's not something you want with these areas of the body. I went home sore and confused. A week and a half later I got a LETTER in the MAIL with my results. They had my results 5 days ago, but didn't bother to use technology to let me know. I would NOT recommend this company and especially Dr. Cohen.

I love you Dr. Butler...Thank you so much for delivering my baby boy! You and your staff are amazing! I still have my onsie from 2009 that you gave me! I wish you guys took my insurance when I just had my last baby because I hated my new OB...Once you've had the best everything else seems horrible!! If I ever get pregnant again (Which will be Jesus Christ baby because I refuse to get pregnant again) I will definitely make sure you delivery that one too lol...

Maegan Powers

Horrible customer service as seen on previous reviews. Getting paper filled out was a nightmare on top of that, the billing specialist stated since they cannot bill me due to being pregnant they need to set up a prepaid account for delivery services for 2019 when baby is due, so they collect ahead of time due to not getting paid after patients give birth! $351 for 3 months was the most they can do, and would not do anything less & started I can find another GYN that may do more months. So at 2 months I’m here searching for another GYN !!!!! Horrible, horrible

Maegan Griffin

Constantly getting my information wrong, to the point of they kept telling me I never had a child (then who is the little person I care for??!) and constantly giving me wrong diagnosis THEN saying they've made a mistake after I would follow instruction on a procedure. Taken too many pieces from me and I constantly have to harass someone to even give me a moment of their time. Go somewhere else. Planned parenthood is a godsend compared to this officez

Ashley Akins

Alessandra Berrocal

Hey, avoid this place like the plague. Heaven help you if you've got something common like a yeast infection, they will send labs off to quest diagnostics to charge you somewhere near 900 dollars. They must have found the cure to cancer in my swab. Next time I know to find an alternative cure. Oh and if you are pregnant, your birth plan better mean nothing to you because it's Russian roulette as to who is your doctor, and no one truly cares.

Lura Henderson

I have rotated through both the Virginia Avenue and Medical Park Office locations. I find that the staff at Medical Park is more caring, considerate, and organized as well as the physicians that are in that office. My horrible experience mostly stems from the Virginia office location. I was referred for an ECHO mid-November and was seen weekly. Each office visit I would ask for the results. On one visit, Dr. Peden, told me that my results were probably in a pile of papers somewhere and would be scanned in eventually. Obviously she was not concerned about chart prep and knowing my history. It took until 12/26 to finally get someone to care and pull my ECHO. I had my whooping cough vaccine on 12/19 and on 12/26 I went in for another prenatal check and the MA was trying to tell me I needed another one. I informed them that I had already had one the week before and that someone did not document this in their computer. She still proceeded to try to argue with me and tell me that I needed it. When you are pregnant you are also more immunocompromised so I have had infection after infection. I have had to ask twice on my last two visits for a pelvic exam as they "didn't feel it was necessary." When I have called the answering service I get an RN that blows your symptoms off. During the day when you call, you get an MA that has no real degree trying to give you medical advice. I have had 10 long weeks of frustration and poor medical care. I have 2 more weeks of my pregnancy and then will be changing to another practice. Unfortunately I could go on further about my experiences, this post is to warn others to be cognizant of their care and look for good providers who do not push you aside even though this is your first pregnancy.

Faisal Ansari

Worst service. Everyone is rude, zero compassion. Biggest mistake my family ever made was going to this group.

Jeanette Durand

Dr Barreiro, her assistant Mara, Heather (Nurse Practioner), Dr N are so awesome. Loved how they have always taken an interest in me, my husband and my boys. Very professional, yet you feel like family.

Jamilah M

Would NOT recommend to any female to attend this group!! Tried to get an apt for a concern I had.. and needed to speak with the Medical assistant first!! That’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t need to see a gyno if I didn’t have a gyno concern! Their waiting time to speak for appt is MINIMUM 10-15mins... Better off going to another office!!!

Hannah Dingle

Dr. Peden was absolutely wonderful but after she left for maternity leave I was passed from doctor to doctor, the last one left me bawling my eyes out in my car. I was treated awful by her, she didn't explain anything to me, rolled her eyes, and slammed the door. Very unprofessional, will never return.

AMANDA NAUMAN

Shirley A. who works the front desk at check out is a RUDE B***H!! She never smiles is ALWAYS RUDE and has a sour puss look on her face. She never wants to help anyone, (which I think she is just racist) u can stand there for 10 minutes and she will ignore you. I do NOT like that girl at all. Everyone else seems friendly and kind except for that stuck up B***H

never had any ssue , very suprised with the reviews. I am wondering if is the same facility. Dr, Peden is fantastic. My fist appt with her was amaizing we found the issue right away with my symptoms and had a small proecdure done, quick recovery. she is very kind and always listen to me attentively.

alex perea

Doctors are all friendly and great but the customer service is an absolute joke. My pregnant fiancée and I were turned away from our appointment because they were unwilling to take a payment from us the next day. And no I am not joking. Really shows where their priorities lie........

Meghan Croke

The Women’s Group took great care of me throughout my pregnancy and is much warmer and comfortable of an environment then most doctors offices. 5 stars is for the customer service though. The front desk was always so so pleasant and shout out to the OB nurse, Annalise. She always got back to me and tried to solve any issues I may have had. So much less frustrating when dealing with such lovely ladies. Thank you!

Sara Palmer

I have to give them a 3 stars. I personally like Dr. Butler, but the office's customer service is below average. There is little respect for patient's time, as I always wait at least 30 minutes before the doctor comes in the room. I feel like just a number and another person they are pushing through. I decided to find smaller family practice for my next appointment.

Megan McLemore

I have delivered 3 babies with The Woman's Group and couldn't say enough good about them.

Melissa Gonzalez

Buyer beware - I made an appointment with them weeks ago. I received my initial patient documentation which I filled out and returned to them via email. Upon arriving at my appointment I was handed a 3 page contract “which they only give you at the time of visit” making you (and unborn child) sign away all your rights in the event of malpractice and forcing you into binding arbitration which you have to pay for equally with them (potentially costing you thousands of dollars). The fact that they hand you a legal contract waiving your rights in a malpractice claim right before your appointment without a meaningful opportunity to review it is sketchy at best since they sent me the other paperwork weeks in advance. I cannot speak as to the medical staff’s abilities as they refused to see me when I said I wasn’t comfortable signing the contract. Something to keep in mind if you are seeking medical treatment at this facility.

First it is nearly impossible to speak to anyone on the phone unless you’re willing to wait 30-40 mins, I have also attempted to use the messaging system and never received a response, then I was charged a $45 copay for a preventative service, (nothing was done except for that service, I didn’t even ask a question related to something else) and was told by the front desk girl that the service was covered at 100% but because I came into the office I had to be charged for an office visit?!? When I finally received a call back from someone in billing she said “ I see here when they verified your insurance they put a note that it was covered 100% no charge, so I’m not sure why they charged you, but I guess just wait and see if they send you a refund” I shouldn’t have to wait and see if I get my money back. It’s not about the money, but how many people are they charging copay’s for services that are covered completely but don’t bother to look into it? You also get the new patient documents weeks before your appointment but when you arrive they ask you to sign arbitration paperwork that forfeits your right to a trial if they injure you. I’ve already made an appointment with Women’s Care Florida for my follow up. I won’t be back to this practice.

Laura Garcia

Well located. Wait is long depending on the day, nurse that helped us was very nice and doctor also. More of a older building.

Shaunie Nicole

My only complaint is that the wait time once you get back in the room can be ridiculous some times. But what I have noticed is that the wait is time is crazy long only on certain days. Everyone that works there are really pleasant every visit I make, just not good at checking on patients once in the room or letting you know they haven't forgotten about you. Dr. Russell is amazing I love her!! She doesn't sugar coat anything, she is precise to the point and gives you as much information as possible some times too much but that's not a bad thing. She is always professional and kind, she is just a joy altogether. I've had extremely bad experiences with other doctors and by far this practice and the doctors are my favorite. I will continue to be a patient here and Dr. Russell is beyond my favorite lol

Michelle Lamela

Jolene Sopalski

I liked the npr and overall atmosphere. My main issue was how unwilling they were to work with you for the global cost of the Pregancy fee.We don't use credit cards and everything is paid in cash. So to come up with $1800 when you budget everything out to the t was hard to do in the time frame they needed.

Katie Brennan

My review is for the Lutz location. Dr. Wahba herself is wonderful and seems genuinely caring, but the staff/front office/medical assistants are very disorganized. I have been here a total of two times. The first, my very first visit, I arrived for a 1pm appointment, only to be taken back thirty minutes later and then stuck in a room waiting for the doctor until 4pm. No one came in the room until around 3pm, and while they were apologetic about my long wait, I doubted their excuse of "the doctor's patients really love her, so they kept asking questions and chatting with her" was true. They offered to reschedule me when they came in at 3pm. I said "No, I've waited this long, and I took today off of work, so I want to be seen today." And like I said, they saw me at 4pm. I think the real reason I had to wait so long was because someone got busy and forgot they had a patient waiting in that room. When I left, there was not more than one employee left in the office, and I was the very last patient to leave. This was for a 1pm appointment that should have taken 45 minutes or less. The second appointment, on a date which I scheduled at THAT office, in person, with THAT office's staff, I walk in and sign in. Front desk girl calls my name and asks me to come to the desk, and says that I am not on the schedule, but that they'd fit me in. I said, "I have an 8:15am appointment--I received a confirmation call yesterday about it." She says, Oh, weird, cause you aren't on the schedule, but we'll fit you in. I walk away. She calls me back over and says "I figured it out, you set it at the South Tampa office." I told her, I set the appointment in person, here, and I've never been to the South Tampa office. She has a similar confused reaction. I walk back to the waiting area. While they saw me soon, many women were seen before me who had walked in after me. And, I didn't get to see the doctor, and it was supposed to be a follow-up visit. I'm very frustrated with this office and will not be going back. But again, Dr. Wahba herself is very nice. If you can deal with disorganization and forgetful staff, you eventually will see a nice doctor. Sad we don't have more choices of doctor's offices when it comes to health care. They can be as horrible as they want to, and they will still receive hoards of patients.

Katelyn Gacsy

Every doctor in this practice is phenomenal. They truly care and do an extremely great job educating patients I am very happy making the switch to The Woman’s group.

I DO NOT!!!!! Recomend this place if you are trying for a VBAC. They delivered my son 3rd child and only csection because he was extremely large baby. When I got pregnant with my 4th child my daughter I went back. I was told after my son I was a great VBAC candidate because I had already had 2 other babies vaginal. All was well for my pregnancy. They wanted a csection scheduled just in case. I did as they asked however the day before I canceled it because I was fine baby was fine there was no medical reason for me to be cut open. They said that was fine I went into labor that night and had a successful VBAC. I went to my 6 week all seemed fine. I just called back to schedule my Pap and was told no. They discharged me because I refused a csection that had zero medical need. I am hurt and pissed that they lied to my face all nice and basically was talking poorly about me behind my back for wanting a normal birth. They did try a few times to scare me into the csection to which I always said I understand but, we are both healthy and doing well I am happy with my choice to VBAC. They obviously were not. Please find a true VBAC friendly office and not one that will leave you hanging later down the road

Gary Stafford

The ultrasound techs and doctors have been great. The front office staff is another story. The front office is rude with dealing with any issue, they speak to you as if they are doing you a favor by helping you with an issue. I wish I had looked at the reviews before I dealt with this group. My 2 cents to the doctors, start to manage your front end staff here better...let them know all of you are here for the patient. I do understand you are busy and so are we. Expect as an front office employee to deal with patients and their issues, if you cant handle that go work somewhere else.

Claire Hanano

I have been with this practice for over 12 years. They have been nothing short of AWESOME! They helped deliver my baby and helped me through a very difficult pregnancy. They truly are special.

Elisa Pineda

If I could give them negative stars, I would. This office is awful... they got me the wrong results on my exams.. meaning they literally called to tell me to re-do and re-pay my exams because they weren't sure if the sample was mine. After almost 3 months of switching gyno's and leaving their office, they STILL CALL 3-4 times a week asking me when I want to schedule another appointment... even AFTER I told them on various occasions I want nothing to do with them. And just note, if for some reason you don't have insurance, out-of-pocket is almost double what insurance companies pay them for the EXACT same things AND you have to pay upfront before they even consider seeing you. EG labs will cost you almost double than what they would bill an insurance company for...keep these things in mind. The doctors are decent but the staff, for the most part, is ridiculous and DOES NOT communicate with each other or you (they are very rude all-around). Plan on waiting up to an hour AFTER your appointment time as well because they NEVER attend on-time.

Money hungry doctors who specialize in c-sections opposed to giving moms a chance at natural birth. If you are healthy and want to continue to have the option of natural births then stay away from this place! They lied about it being risky for me to have a natural birth so that they could receive the extra money! Sharon Ingram even tried to use her race card saying “From sister to sister” disgusting! She cut my son’s forehead during this c-section and the mark is still there! My husband said during the c section, all of the attendees had a look of worry when she did the incision. Now that I’m on my second child, it is hard to find a doctor who will deliver VBAC because of her! Stay away if you want to have kids naturally! I wish I’d knew then what I know now!

Dr. Carmen Peden is the best. She is caring and Knowledgeable. She takes time to explain everything. My second favorite doctor will be Dr. Kobliska.

I’d give this place 0 stars if it would let me. First impression is absolutely fabulous great smiles and the place looks luxurious. However the experience changed after seeing the doctor and then again after receiving my bill... these people are leeches ... I paid over $200 at the time of each appointment for the doctor to tell me at my last visit that she doesn’t treat my condition...mind you I explained to her what the condition was even wrote it down on my paper work at the first appointment...she could have told me then but NO she puts me through unnecessary testing to tell me she can’t help me and saw nothing concerning with the test... I ended up in the hospital a couple days later and they found the blood clots in my uterus ..with the SAME TESTING ! ... Oh and check this...they billed me again and even over billed me.. I had to call for this to be looked into an corrected this is just the icing on the cake ... I ended up with a different practice an they called and spoke with the doctor I seen at the woman’s group directly and asked her why I wasn’t at least prescribed medicine for my pain...she tells my doctor “I didn’t think she was in THAT much pain.”... Ima tough cookie I have given birth to two beautiful girls all natural so my pain tolerance is quite high but that doesn’t mean I should have to suffer... I even explained and opened up about the pain... so that really aggravated me to the core.. Turns out I need surgery..thanks for nothing Womans group... read through these reviews before you waist your time and money... when I first went a few months ago I saw nothing but great ones and wow.. looking at the reviews now unfortunately it looks like I’m not the only one who was treated unfairly and ripped off... My Experience with this place was complete hell from beginning to end..stressful, waist of time, and horrid patient care. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone for anything.

Wow! I am surprised with the negative feedback. I have nothing more than great things to say about this practice. I'm forever grateful to these amazing ladies (drs AND staff) who assisted both of my high risk pregnancies. I've been patience since 2009!. I would recommend this practice!. Special thanks to Dr Serrano, Dr Cohen and Dr Peden.

Samantha Brasel

Loved Dr. Serrano. Blood work was quick and results were explained to me which was super helpful. Great staff!

I really wonder if the people who works at this place enjoy what they do ?! Horrible attitude towards patient.. Don't let the look of the place fool you.. Horrible treatment.. It feels like you are not at a place where women should feel understood and comfort .. It's horrible ... Horrible.. They treat you like an unknown creature .

The physician I have seen several times was very good, but the paperwork is off-putting. I said as much in a survey on how they were doing and someone from the office called me within 2 minutes of me having sent it in AND STARTED ARGUING WITH ME. It was the most bizarre thing I have experienced in a long time and I felt so weirded out by this creep. Who does that? Totally unprofessional. I am trained in survey design and one lesson I must have missed is where you call your respondents who say something you don't like and start an argument with them. Left such a bad taste in my mouth I won't be back.

Woman's Group was recommended to me when I moved to Tampa by several colleagues who go there for OB/GYN services. The office is nice, comfortable, and well-organized. I saw Dr. Peden - who is incredible! She was knowledgeable and great to talk to. It was clear that she was really interested in my well being and health. Then, on two occasions, I contacted the office with questions and my calls were returned within hours from her assistant, Lynette. This is a top-rate practice, and I am thrilled to have found Dr. Peden. HIGHLY recommended. If you are like me and like to see copies of the actual lab results, they also have an online system to obtain them.

The worst office. They joke about how you'll probably never see the same doctor twice. I have a tumor and after the first visit, none of the other docs have asked about an update. they didn't know what testing i was supposed to be doing, twice. One doctor made me very uncomfortable because he wouldn't let me unbutton my own pants... seriously. He didn't even do the exams that he was supposed to do. Office staff is the worst. They wanted me to pay my deductible up front before even billing or talking to my insurance. I am extremely enraged. I will not return to this office and unless you are glutton for punishment, i would stay away if i were you. Good luck! They are so rude and don't care.

Been seeing Dr. Serrano for many years, she delivered my daughter and Dr. Cohen delivered my son. Sad to see so many negative reviews here, I have had nothing but positive interactions with the physicians and nurses at this office. There is often a wait but that's every doctors office. I am grateful for the care I have received over the years here.

I concur with many criticisms of this practice. Too bad the Dr. Bevalacqua left but honestly, most of the problems are with the nurse practitioners and billing staff. Other large practices manage to be organized, why these folks are in such disarray is a mystery. I think perhaps it has to do with a focus on money rather than good patient care. I had a routine annual exam, with one of the nurse practitioners. Never would I have imagined being tested for my cholesterol -- this is a gyn office. Well guess who got a huge bill six months later that the insurance would not cover. I called and asked why this test was even ordered. I have a primary care doc who does this and the womens center said "oh people use us as their primary care doctors." Such nonsense. They just seem to want to make as much $ and if they put patients in a difficult financial situation for example insurance not cover then too bad. I also was blindsided with a bill that was two years after the fact. I never NEVER got notices and even the office manager Wendy acknowedged this. She said oh it was because they were appealing an insurance denial. I was aware of that appeal. Three years later they do an about face. I say this kind of thing backfires, honestly is the best policy. You will not find that here in this practice. It is like a cancer in this office to take a less than honorable approach to patients care, every aspect of it. Part of the problem is their thumbs are in too many pies: doing latisse, dermal fillers, botox. If you can't manage your primary responsibility of providing obgyn care, don't delve into these other unrelated (but very lucrative) areas.

As a patient with this group for two years, including the birth of a child, I have had a mix of good and bad experiences. Some of the doctors have provided wonderful care, others have not. However, I have been incredibly unhappy with the disposition of the front desk and nursing staff. Generally, the staff has been dismissive and does not listen to patients. My appointments have been rescheduled due to doctor schedule conflicts multiple times. I have typically waited 30 min - 2 hrs after my appointment times to see a doctor. Doctor consultations have been rushed. I have gotten the feeling that they practice is simply too busy to give their patients the time and care that they deserve.

Great service at the W. Virginia Ave office! The nurses were kind and took their time to explain what I needed to know about my pregnancy. The place is beautiful and the service was good. I’m staying with them for my care. I’m surprised about the bad reviews and I’m thinking they are not about the W Virginia Ave but about other locations.

I've been going to TWG for over 3 years now. I went there before I had my son, during my pregnancy and now after. I've had every doctor and probably every nurse treat me. You will find your favorite- mine is Kobliska. You will also have your least favorite. I just request not be scheduled with her- problem solved. If I have questions, they answer them, if I have a problem they fix it. There are plenty of appointment times and tons of services. I would recommend this OB GYN to any female.

Good services, friendly staff!

I will begin by saying that I had all my prenatal care at The Women's Group and the doctors are all really good (friendly, informed). I was pleased with the care throughout my pregnancy. The problem is with the office itself. You can never get through on the phone. They will answer, then put you on hold indefinitely. This has happened to me every time I've tried to call. I have waited as long as 7 minutes without anyone coming back on and finally hung up. They make a point of advertising that you can make appointments online, which is good, because that is the ONLY way you're going to do it. I had a visit recently for my well woman check up (annual exam). I waited in the waiting room for about 15-20 minutes before I was called. That was fine, but once in the exam room (wearing nothing but a robe) it was another 45 minutes!! No one came in to update me, or assure me that they hadn't forgotten about me. Unacceptable. Finally, I had to email them because I never heard back about my test results from my exam. I had to go through their website (because, I remind you, you can't get anyone on the phone). I got an email back stating that since my last test was normal, last year, that they only did an exam but not a pap. What?! They didn't even tell me! They're compromising my health care without my knowledge. They sent me a survey after my last visit and I mentioned all of these issues that I was very unhappy with. Unsurprisingly, I have heard nothing from them. No follow up. I'm just done. It's too hard. And they don't seem to care.

Kristin Smith

Dr. Brown is amazing, and incredibly knowledgeable. 4 stars because I always have to wait- don't schedule so many people in one day if it's going to mean being an hour late at 9:30am, but that seems to be something in Florida, not just here.

Adam Conterno

Beautiful place and nice staff. However, they will make you wait for a minimum of 30 minutes every time. They don't care about your time. Only that they can see as many people as possible by stuffing them into a waiting room.

I wrote my first review about 3-4 years ago, and I will say that I notice a lot of these reviews are for many different offices. I have not seen many complaints for this office in particular (Virginia Ave. office), and I will tell you why: There are competent, loyal, intelligent doctors employed here, and they make it their mission to make you happy with your experience. I have never been made to feel unimportant, and I have always been taken care of. I have been going here for at least 7 years now (my mother, for 10+ years), and I wouldn't change that anytime soon. Dr. Roush did my caesarean, and she did a brilliant job. I enjoy my experience every single time. If I were to say anything "negative," I would advise getting to the office 15 minutes prior to your appointment- 30 minutes if you're a new patient. The wait time varies, but again, it's more of a estimate, because time devoted to each patient, and making sure their needs are met in a generally small time frame, is very important to these doctors. Do yourself a favor- do some groundwork, check the doctors online, and don't believe everything you read on these google reviews- many are unreliable and petty.

Meagan Vieren

Been my doctor for 5+ years now and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Erica Ramirez

Wow I’m sorry for all of those bad reviews but I really had a great experience specially now having my second baby. First baby I had was really amazing and now with my second it’s going great. Front desk always friendly and polite and nurses very kind and soft hands specially when doing my blood work. And I love my doctors all of them. They always answer my questions and my concerns and always double check. For me is not only smiles and kindness but I love when I express concerns and they send me to do another test or double check to make sure I’m not going to have any problems.

Jamina Wusik

Rudest office I have ever been to in my life, the lack of communication and compassion is disturbing. One of your most memorable moments in life becomes a lot more stressful while dealing with these “women”. I work full time as a nurse, I see patients daily, I work in the same field, I sometimes have to play the roll of receptionist, never am I rude. I speak to my patients as I would speak to my family. The first person you see should put a smile on your face, not look at you with a blank stare and tell you “I don’t know what they told you, but I’m telling you....” I felt attacked, I felt as though I was being treated as a number, just another pregnant person. I am not saying I need a red carpet laid out for me, but don’t treat me like I’m worthless. I left my appointment in tears today, I switched offices due to the fact that everyone in the “south tampa” office is rude, impatient, and uncaring. I pray people stand up and say this isn’t right. I refuse to be belittled in front of a waiting room of people, and to think I still have 4 months to go. No thanks, if I could I’d give them zero stars, thank you for making my stress levels soar, if you don’t like your job, FIND A NEW ONE!!!

Astrid Malagon

Doctors are amazing, but I don’t understand why you have to wait for an hour to get called, then they sit you back in the waiting room to wait 20 more mins. These are just to see the doctor for 15 mins. If my appointment is at 845, I don’t understand why I am called at 9:30.

Alexa Cordell

This place is the worst! Waiting time is 30 minutes to 1 hour long for simple procedures or annuals. You never get an appointment with the real doctor. Least patient centered office ever!

Sonia Allen

This office is terrible. The doctor was condescending and dismissive. Do not recommend

Katherine Rehberg

Great staff and amazing doctors :)

Taylor King

Phone hours to make an appointment are terrible and always spend at least 30 minutes on hold. Everything is complicated with them.

My wife had found out she was pregnant in December of 2018, and at the time did not have an OB. Frantically excited/nervous/overwhelmed we had found this OB and figured it would be a good one to try. We were able to get our first appt in January. I must disclaim that my wife was a smoker (marijuana) until she found out she was pregnant and then immediately stopped smoking. This OB let us know about her THC levels being high in January and that there would be random drug tests and we understood that. Fast forward to now, they made her take a drug test after her appointment last week, 2 months after her initial test showing her THC levels. when my wife is 4 months pregnant and after shelling out over $1,000 for visits to this OB, she was immediately discharged after there were still traces of THC showing on the drug test. My wife attempted to explain that she was a smoker before knowing she was pregnant and that she hasn’t done anything since we found out we were pregnant, and the OB was unwilling to work with her. So now at 17 weeks pregnant my wife has to find a new OB, without the help of the OB that discharged her. I have no problem with an OB discharging people for a drug (while I partically disagree with their views on THC) but for the OB to not then try to help them find another OB to accept the patient they’re discharging when the patient is nearly halfway through their preganany is honestly very sad and unfortunate. I would not recommend this OB to any woman who is pregnant and has a past issue with something this OB disagrees with (in this case THC) because this OB was unwilling to help my 17 week pregnant wife with a compromise to this issue to ensure her monitoring was uninterrupted during pregnancy.
