Medical Staff are good to me. Clerical staff need to be more compromised with. They can call to let patients know that they have to reschedule the appointment and they don't care to look for possible alternatives. They are the only ones that work and have compromises.

This is the best doctor in town. I have been searching and searching for a doctor that actually cares about gay people. I had the best experience with Stephanie Skipper, APRN. I would recommend her to anyone.

Very dissatisfied with this visit. There needs to be some immediate quality assurance put into place. First visit to this office and after speaking three times to front office, I was at least hoping to feel that it would be worth my time. I get to the office and the doctor that I had been told that was going to see, ended up being a physician's assistant. Would have been fine; however, but not for a first visit, to a brand-new office (especially with the care that often times are needed in these type offices). Or maybe I should say, "had I been told", it would have been fine. At the counter, I was THEN told that it was a specialist visit and that I needed to pay accordingly. Nearly $100 for me to be told I need to go to have blood work someplace else. Very disheartening and insulting. I was asked about my sexuality much more than the details of my illness and medical concerns. (Interesting) I saw the potential of the office and I was able to glimpse the energy of what this office could be. However, I will not pay this office a visit anytime soon and I will begin working to get a refund. I will be traveling back out of state for follow-up visits. This is how bad I felt leaving this office. Surely, any caring manager and/or physician would know that training is needed. The front office should get more details on the visit and what the desires are for the patient, in lieu of greeting the patient with, "what type of insurance do you have". I realize this plays in association with the process. However, its important to make sure the patient is comfortable as well. At the end, the PA asked me to wait to meet a doctor. Same information, just polished. A "specialist" visit, I shared my medical concerns and what I was dealing with and not one of the physicians even looked at me closely. Did not touch me at all. My blood pressure was approximately 170/94. This first time, the bottom number was nearly 110. I had mentioned to the doctor that I had visited the ER and needed to follow-up with a physician. Nothing was mentioned. I am not angry and its not my desire to make an incident from my visit. Surely, this is not what one should expect at an office of this magnitude. I was knew to this office and a few of the staff members just stare at you (and not acknowledge or speak). I am hoping that if you are reading this, you see the sincerity and concern that this comes from a good place and that its my utmost desire to share that these visits should be nothing less than "empowerment"...and when there is no empowerment, the spirit of "servitude" should always be present.

I think they are fantastic! You can really tell they emphasize patients first in everything they do. I’ve seen a couple of doctors and ARNPs and they’ve been warm, personable and knowledgeable. Each one really made me feel comfortable, listened and took time to answer all my questions. They truly care about their patients and even have someone on staff that helps with insurance questions and community support! You’d be surprised how hard it is as a young, black, woman to find a great, nonjudgmental doctor to prescribe PrEP and I am so grateful to have found OIC. I would recommend them to everyone!

We have only been going here for about a year, but I have nothing but good things to say. We have several different doctors (oncologist, surgeon, hospital, etc) and the communication and coordination between them has been phenomenal. They all know everything that's going on all the time. Karen in the office always returns my calls and helps with any thing I need. Terry and Stephanie are very thorough and knowledgable. Dr Armus is geat. Basically: Friendly and knowledgable staff, great locaton, great recources, very very good doctors and PA's. Also, Dr. Edwin De Jesus is just awsome!!! So glad he's my partner's doctor! We are very lucky.

I really enjoy the service they provide~ doesn't take long to see the doctors at all, your usually in and out within an hour. I use to go to Bliss healthcare and with that place, you could watch half of an Netflix movie before the doctor saw you. If this place had a lab on location, it would be heaven. But its very clean, high tech look, i would recommend this place to everyone.

I feel like if finally found a doctors office where everyone genuinely cares. Terry is amazing, funny and truly listens. Karen and Amanda work magic on cutting through prior auths and insurance hoops. Then they also have Sam that helped when I had trouble with my insurance and PrEP. I’ve never felt so completely cared for. I’d recommend them to anyone and their Watermark WAVE awards are extremely well deserved!

I'm really happy to see that OIC was recognized so much in Watermark's favorites in the LGBTQ community. They definitely deserve it! When I came in years ago Dr. DeJesus made it seem like everything was going to be ok and it was. He immediately suggested a research study whIch means I got the newest medication before anyone else! I'm happy and healthy and owe it all to OIC...everyone there...they are definitely a team. I've been in research with Wendy who taught me about adherence, Nancy always answers the phone with a smile and Terry make you feel comfortable and is hilarious. Everyone there is welcoming, very knowledgeable and professional but they also keep it light, with a smile and I really appreciate that! You can tell they all are passionate about what they do and really care about you. I searched a long time and OIC is the first and only place to really understand me as a gay man. It's a completely different experience than going to a general doctor or primary care doctor. They are easy to talk to and make you feel welcome. That's easy to see because they are always out in the community educating and raising awareness. Ive never seen a doctors office take such a proactive approach with the community and I love it! I've sent tons of friends here for PrEP, general doctors visits and HIV care and everyone has had the same great experience. Great job on the awards...very well deserved.

My personal experience was really bad. The Center did not effectively communicate the work that was going to be done, I was told I was overreacting for my concerns (I ask a lot of questions because I like to fully understand, which is why I believe this was said...felt like a deflection for not knowing how to answer my questions), did not seem to be knowledgeable beyond basic/Google-worthy things (no new information was told to me that my PCP didn't already provide), and was never even called to be given the results of my test. I was forced to go elsewhere which was levels above this Center. As I said, maybe my experience was not the norm. But as the adage goes...do a good job and people will tell a few, do a bad job and they will tell the world. I would not recommend, there are other options.

Don't go here to get an std test. See a real doctor. These doctors and nurses are not trustworthy

My husband is a patient of Dr DeJes and Dr. Cruz. There is a recent recall of a blood pressure medicine that Dr. Cruz prescribed. We requested a change in medication, but Dr. Cruz expects us to deal with the pharmacy. They can't change a medication unless he precribes it. Why should it be so difficult for him to prescribe something elsw? A patient has the right to change a med regardless of a reason. He's causing unnecessary strew, when he could make a simple call to the pharmacy.

OIC is a life saver!!! I don’t know were I’d be if it weren’t for Dr. DeJesus and Jeff! They are awesome and really took time explaining everything to me. You can immediately tell that everyone there really cares. They are warm, kind, knowledgeable, open minded, professional and make me laugh! Dr. DeJesus and OIC won several Watermark WAVE award and they deserve it! You’re the only ones that I see out in the community really educating and raising awareness. Orlando needs more business like yours that are socially responsible and are really apart of the LGBTQ community. Thanks for everything you do!

They are by far the best doctors, especially if you’re looking for Pre Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). My primary care doctor didn’t know about it and I learned you get what you pay for when you see “free PrEP”. Terry, my provider, gave me a comprehensive medical exam. They really know their stuff and made me feel comfortable. Everyone at OIC is passionate, professional and very helpful. I’d recommend them to anyone.
