I have been going here my whole pregnancy because I am a high-risk pregnancy. I am now almost 38 weeks and have no had one good experience. If I could do 0 stars I would. First off, it doesn’t matter when your appointment is the waiting room is always almost completely full!! It’s never a quick appointment. If your being seen expect the whole appointment process to be at least 2 hours. Finally when the doctor comes she is terrible! They never remember who you are (and I go every week) and ask you about 2 questions and then leave the room not asking if you have any questions or concerns. Nor do they pick up the phone there. Aren’t you suppose to feel welcomed and comfortable at your OB? Nope not here! I have had so many unanswered questions but thankfully I have other women that could answer my questions. The way I have been treated here by all the staff, nurses and doctors is unbelievable. I would never suggest this place to any one else. If I had other options I would have switched places immediately! I walk out angry because of my whole day wasted there and upset because the lack of respect. They seem as if they hate there lives there and because of that they treat there patients very rudely. You know it’s a bad look when you don’t see one person in the work place smile!!!

I’m new to the area and was recommended to this office by a friend. The nurses made me feel very uncomfortable and made it feel like a very unwelcoming environment. The dr was extremely rude and insensitive and tried rushing me through my appointment so she could leave the office early. On my second visit, the nurse was very unprofessional and the dr (a different one than last time) gave me no time to ask questions or voice my concerns. I will most definitely be finding another dr and never returning.

I transferred ob's 6 months pregnant. I was not happy about it. This facility was helpful in prenatal care. I registered at St Mary's to deliver. I assumed my records would be given to the delivery unit to be reviewed when I arrived to deliver. As I am a high risk pregnancy and have a medical history. When I arrived to deliver I quickly realized my records weren't reviewed and I was stuck explaining everything over and over during contractions. Also, I experienced complications and was left in the hands of a student nurse. These complications could have been avoided with a simple sonogram. As a result my delivery was over 24 hours and more painful then needed to be. If I ever decide to have another child it will not be at St Mary's. However, my experience at ob/gyn specialist of Palm Beach was helpful and descent.

La verdad es que siento preocupación porque es una consulta de embarazos de alto riesgo y las asistentes me hacen pasar, me pesan, me toman la Presión arterial y me sacan la sangre para los exámenes, ok está bien eso, ah! Y me escuchan el foco cardiaco fetal, pero cuando ya el médico especialista entra al consultorio me saluda y se limita a revisar la historia clínica porque nunca me ha visto el mismo médico, siempre son distintos médicos y me hacen todos las mismas preguntas, pero yo no entendo cómo evalúan la evolución del embarazo si no me examinan? Cómo saber si es bebé está creciendo bien si no me miden la altura uterina, ni me miden la circunferencia abdominal, cómo saben si tengo leucorrea si no me miran y cuando digo que tengo dicen que es normal y yo como médico de mi país sé que es frecuente más no normal, cómo saben que no es una proliferación abundante de Cándida Albicans o una Trichomona vaginalis o cualquier otra si no me examinan para saber con la inspección que tipo de leucorrea puede ser? Una Dra cuando le pregunté si no me iba a medir la altura utetina me dijo que no, que a las 20 semanans, sin embargo a las 20 semanas acudí a consulta y tampoco me la midieron, entonces mi pregunta es cómo saben cómo está creciendo mi bebé si no me hicieron ese día ultrasonido para saber cuánto pesa el feto? La verdad es q que aún no entiendo cómo funciona el sistema de salud aquí en este país, y me gustaría que me lo explicaran porque soy médico en mi país y atendí muchos partos, fui ayudante en muchas cesáreas, examiné muchas embarazadas y a todas las examinábamos todo, bueno en mi país no tenemos asistentes, nosotros hacemos todo pero creo q aún faltan cosas por hacer de parte del doctor y otra pregunta que me hago si así es una consulta de alto riesgo cómo será una consulta de una embarazada que no sea de alto riesgo? Mi preocupación es que ya tengo edad avanzada, mi 1er embarazo lo perdí de 7 meses y medio de embarazo y sólo Dios hizo posible que me volviera a embarazar después de 4 años, deseo con toda mi alma tener este bebé porque es el 1ro pero de verdad no me siento satisfecha con la atención o el examen físico de los médicos allí por mí

Only people pleasant are the doctors!! I really wish they would get rid of that older black lady at the desk!! Customer service is not for her!! I am never greeted or giving a smile and this is my second visit!! That woman is not friendly at all and I know I am not the only one to complain about her. A patient is supposed to feel comfortable with the whole staff. The doctors really need to have a training on front desk customer service with the staff. Going to my PCP is like night and day. The staff is INCREDIBLE!! I have seen two doctors who were equally very nice at this office. However the nurses I have encountered so far have not been at all pleasant.

I've been going to the OBGYN of the Palm Beaches 45th street location since October, I am now currently 7 months pregnant. I've had so many issues with this practice! I had to find out that I was high risk pregnancy, by another location. No one from the office informed me when I called about my test results. I've only had the same OB twice her name is Miriam and she was amazing. Other than that it was always a new OB and I had to inform them about my history. I had to asked for them to make sure to update my chart with medical issues that weren't listed. On my tenth visit now on the high risk floor, I was asked by an OB if I was a new patient. You can imagine how unsettling that felt being high risk. My last appointment which was yesterday the Plebotomist/ nurse was completely unprofessional. At that location I felt more like a number and less like a patient. There's a major lack of communication and my patience has ran out. I'm now looking to change practices completely.

They have the best staff. This is my fifth child and I'm a high risk pregnancy and they don't judge and they go out of their way to make sure I get all the test and attention I need so I recieve the best possible care. I feel safe and welcome everytime i go to my appointment. They are on top of things their from the front end to the nursing staff to the doctors. I look forward to continuing my care their. I wish I would have known about this place with my other pregnancy and my ultrasound was so fun and just a pleasant experience. Keep up the amazing work! I can't wait to give birth cause I know I'm in good hands.

I will give them 2 out of 5 stars because, I had an appointment but got seen 1 hour after my original appointment time. I was seen by doctor Wendy and a training student, they were both great by the way. They were funny and made everything less awkward. My annual went smooth. When I was finished I wrnt back up to the front for them to tell me they ran out of paper so I would have to come back on a different day to do some paperwork. I found that pretty weird because they work in the same plaza as the hospital. The staff was cool though.

This is the worst palce. Quality of care is very poor. Office staff are very disorganized. I had an appointment at 12:30pm and its nearly 2:00 pm and i am still waiting. My previous appointment they couldnt find my pap smear results and loss my labs. Prior to that i had an appointment and they cancel my appointment two days before the scheduled date because the doctor was not going to be in the office.This appointment was made six weeks ahead of time. This place is probably worst than the free clinic. Hopefully the next OBGYN office I visit can make this a better experience for me.

Went to my first appointment with this practice and the visit ran smoothly. The physician, Dr. Josh Ackerman, was great. He had a wonderful bedside manner and the staff were are very pleasant. Will definitely continue to use this practice.

Been visiting and have always been seen by one the best doctors here -Dr. Alan Leroy-for the past 25 years and had the best and utmost care and respect from him & his staff......(bring him back). Had an unpleasant visit (not with Dr. Leroy,as I was told he wasn’t seeing patients anymore) just a couple of days ago, from the receptionist who demonstrated very little empathy to a patients’ reason for being there. As with everything and everyone there’s always room for improvement., however, common sense should allow you to understand the already basic needs of anyone entering this office. At no given time should the receptionist be asking the patient “what are you here for today?” & “do you have insurance” in the presence of a full lobby of people, with sensitive issues and different concerns. This is a breach of a patients’ privacy contract. Furthermore, make sure your receptionist understands that when someone presents their picture identification, that is exactly what it is a picture identification. No assumptions should be made and done in an inappropriate and unprofessional manner to your patient, again, do openly and with no discretion to the patients’ privacy. Again, all questions to your patients should be treated with privacy and respect , no matter who and where they’re from. Let’s go back to the drawing board.

I waited 2 hours to see the doctor yesterday. I felt bad for the doctor, the back office staff and front desk scheduler as there were a lot of unhappy patients in the offices. My appointment was at 11:20am and i did not see Dr Thomas until 1:30 pm.

I waited at least two hours to see Dr. Michael Boom at least the staff could have been informative about a doctor running behind. Give some detail, not a lot, but enough to mollify me. Just let me know, this is not routine . But I overheard Dr. Michael boom saying can the patient rescheduled so Unprofessional of him ,you waste my time I come to your practice to be seen and you rejected me you had no remorse towards my pain and no urgency to even see me. I don't recommend anybody to see him , he's not patient friendly.

Just a terrible practice. The staff is rude, they are so incredibly lazy and disorganized. My proof of pregnancy letter was so mispelled and sloppy that it wasn't accepted by the insurance company. You can't get ahold of them. I continually try to get my records faxed over to a new doctor. My girlfriend left in tears after a pap smear and the doctor told her crying was a sign of weakness. Before I even met the doctor for the first time she brought a male student into the room without my permission. I will never go back. It was disgusting. My arm was bruised for weeks after they drew blood.

Dr. Caravello comes off a little gruff at first, but once he gets to know you and your medical issues he is very compassionate. It takes time to find a good doctor that not only listens to your ideas but is not afraid to disagree with you based on medical facts, however, combining the two and coming to a mutual treatment goal is what I consider good medicine. I am finally getting to the root of my problem and I have him to thank.

Service sucks. You wait forever to be seen. If you ever make an appt go on your day off because you will spend 2 hours there for one visit and if you have 2 appts it will be 4 hours. The Dr's there now aren't too friendly where they make you feel comfortable . Dr Dana is the only one there thats friendly. I miss Dr harding and the mid wife lorean. If I'm ever pregnant again this is my last option. They even had someone I know which is one of the nurses checking my weight,blood pressure, urine, babies heart beat and entering info into my chart records when I feel like thats a conflict of interest. I wish you could give 0 stars because that’s what they deserve. I’m considering writing a formal complaint. The most unprofessional, rude, embarrassing experience I have ever had. Absolutely horrible. I was treated poorly, made to feel like a zoo animal and was left feeling violated. At no time did any of the multiple doctors (I didn’t agree to see) explain anything they were doing or going to do whilst knowing full well it was my first time. The doctors assistant performing my original exam was not the doctor I booked with and clearly had no idea what she was doing. They were demeaning and insulting, completely unprofessional, insensitive and unorganised. I will never use this practice ever again.

There not really good at communication I scheduled cultures but when I got there they gave me the run around.....then I have an ultrasound done there was no communication I was scheduled to come bck for my results....I've been to other obgyns and have had ultrasounds done and as they do it they explained what I was looking at this time it was complete silence...if I had the time i would switch obgyn....I think they are overwhelmed by the number of patients that they see but that's no excuse for the unprofessionalism in that building....I wouldn't recommend them to anyone....when u come in the staff at the front desk just stare at you I feel if your going to stare at least speak....I think some training courses need to be implemented

Dr Thomas has my deepest respect and admiration. Jedi of Doctors. My wife and I had our first son die (premature). We weren't sure if we would have children successfully after that. However after meeting with Dr Thomas and his staff: he helped us delivery not one but two beautiful kids(Apgars 9+). He was there from the moment the pregnancy test said (+); all the way until I cut the umbilical cord. He is a great great Doctor. I'm honored to have him I hope you will be too.

Dr. Caravello did an amazing job with my total abdominal hysterectomy what a blessing he is. And at my 2 week follow up he gave me the great news that the incision was healing very well. He answered all my questions and helped me with the "Hot Flashes" that are NO JOKE!!!! I would recommend Dr. Caravello highly!!!!!

So I absolutely LOVE the ladies in the office, the nurses and Dr. John Caravello. The ladies are very attentive and I love how they remembered my name right away, it definitely adds a family vibe for me. We joke and laugh, they're just GREAT. But I was there for my check up yesterday and had an appointment with Dana Jocobs ( one of the midwives) who was ABSOLUTELY RUDE with NO bedside manner at all. I'm usually not a very emotional person and I left there crying due to the lack of comfort I felt from her. I will recommend Ob/gyn Specialists to any of my girlfriends, but will DEFINITELY warn against ever being scheduled with that woman.

Was a horrible first visit long wait and my appointment was at 2:50pm so they were waaaay behind.. finally got called at 330pm vital signs done but had several wrong reasons why I was there and kept correcting it as well.. placed in room number 2 awaiting the OBGYN DR and the assistant came back in with the wrong information again for my visit, sat in the assigned room waiting for the physician and the room lights shut off 2-4 times on me for no movement finally looking at the time it was 4:45pm I was fed up and got my stuff and walked out the medical assistant says you saw the doctor right? I said no, no one ever came in the room and the lights shut off several times. She says oh she said she was going in room 2 I said well she never made it !!! My appointment was at 2:50pm it is now 4:50pm I’ve never waited this long to see any doctor. Very upset having to reset an appointment bc they called and scheduled me too soon to see the OBGYN anyway.. I’m very disappointed in this office!!

I saw Dr. Joshua Ackerman for the first time yesterday (1/2/18) and from the moment I walked into the office I knew I was in great hands and in the right place. The ENTIRE office staff are extremely friendly and nice. Dr. Ackerman is so down to earth and made me feel better almost immediately. He was able to pinpoint what my issues were right away and talk to me in such a calming, easy going way that made me extremely comfortable with him and the decisions that I had/have to make. Excellent service and highly recommend!

Giving one star because you can’t give zero. This place is a disaster. It’s digustingly dirty (urine on the bathroom counters, dirt all over the walls and doors, bathrooms disgusting), the staff never remembers who you are, you never see the same person twice so every time you go in you have to tell your story all over again. The people that help you are also not gentle or caring with what they do. I had an ultrasound and the lady didn’t speak to me once, not even a greeting. She was also hurting me a lot while giving the ultrasound but didn’t care in the least. None of these people care. Makes me sick. I pay cash for my appointments and paid $100 on two occasions to see a MIDWIFE (not even an actual doctor) for about five mins. If not less. I would NOT recommend this place. If you can go somewhere else, do so! I’m not going back.

The person that did my bloods had no bed side manner she was cold and never tried to coversate with me as the patient to try to ease anxiety or stress she did not even ask for my had when she was going to do thebloods she just stretched out her hand indicating she wanted mine carried on stick me with the needle and I got up and left I was never made to feel so disregarded as a patient and I think that these people need to realize that patient centered care is essential and should be expressed at all times. Regardless of where we are from or the barrier in language we are all patients and should be treated as such. The doctors and nurse I have met are great but I dont know who is training the other floor staff but they need to know about patient centered care and putting patient first.

It took forever to get processed and I don’t have insurance just pay. I had appointment at 1:40pm and I saw the doctor at 3:15pm. I was put on a waiting room for so long that the motion sensor light turned off. I had a nap. That long it took. Thank goodness the doctor was good. She was very thorough with her explanation. I need an further exam but now I need to wait for a month for that doctor to be available. No one else con perform it apparently. The nurses & techs are the best. Very nice & helpful. The one doctor that I’ve seen was okay. Could’ve been a little more pleasant. She seemed pretty depressed, like she had no interest in being there. But the one thing that is absolutely aggravating & almost unexceptable is the hour long wait in the waiting room that occurs every time I’m there. While other patients are only waiting about 20-30 minutes, I’m stuck in the waiting room an hour past my appointment time every time! I understand offices get busy & sometimes it’s hard to keep up. But EVERY TIME???? That is just unbelievable to me.

I heard great things about Dr.Desmond Thomas. My first visit with him was outstanding. I would trust him with my life. He's genuinely passionate about the well being of his patients. Not to many Doctors like him. I know he's stuck with me. I'm a very picky and particular woman. You have to be on top of your profession and Dr. Thomas is!!

This is my first pregnancy with that being said I’m learning a lot as I go as all first time moms. I was concerned at the very beginning of my pregnancy that I may have IC (incompetent cervix) or other wise liver deficiency due to excessive itching. I told my fears to two doctors when I first attended in March of 2018 at this point only a few weeks pregnant each time I was told each pregnancy is different, you don’t usually get that until your third trimester, put Benadryl cream on skin and it’s not a big deal. However the third doctor At 3 and 1/2 months, after hearing about my symptoms he came in and immediately asked a few questions told me of the risk which could result in miscarriage or stillborn (hearing this I immediately broke down in tears) and afterwards he had my blood drawn and let me know that if my results came back positive he would place me on medication to help but may or may not be guaranteed. My frustration is why wasn’t I treated the same from all physicians at this location? I haven’t received my results but would have liked my concerns regarding my child to be handled in a way of urgency and care. It is not reassuring at all along with the level of professionalism it is impossible sometimes to reach this office by phone and not all but some of the representatives are unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

LOVE Dr. Ackerman ... he's a great physician. He's amazing during your pregnancy. Delivered my daughter, is fantastic afterwards as well. I followed him from where he was previously located. Would not see anyone else as long as he's practicing.

I been going here for sometime now and I tell you this. The staff is much more friendly then before. The doctors seem to listen more about the issue/concern that you are experiencing. I waited over 3 hours to be seen for an ultrasound appointment intended as a check-up. When I was finally seen, the ultrasound technician was quite rude. Visiting this office has been a mixture of positive and negative experiences with the negative outweighing the positive. Ultimately, i would not recommend this office due to poor management and scheduling in addition to a large number of less than professional staff.

The staff is friendly and very rapport centered to make your visit comfortable. However, I’m not as thrilled for the OBGYN Specialist I came to encounter this time around... Dr. C.W. was very vague & detached. As far as doing her job, she receives a A- but in other areas where it might count, she lacked. I should not feel uncomfortable/embarrassed & that is how I felt. Not that she implied anything , but her monotonous dialogue really didn’t make for a great annual. I mean after all, I am having to show you my private areas...
