This Doctor has lack of care for his patients. We had him as our primary physician for our daughter since she was born and I can't tell you how many problems we had with him. We decided to move to another physician today. He's out to just take your money!

I completely disagree with the negative reviews. I have been taking both of my children one of them since day one. Dr Munoz is one of the best pediatricians in the Tampa Bay area. He is very loving and affectionate with my family. He also takes his time to answers questions and does not rush you out the door. He also is not quick to prescribe Antibiotics (which is something I am against) and the staff is very polite and courteous.

The receptionists refuse to answer calls or return massages. They will outright lie telling you they take your insurance and then when you show up with your sick child they send you away and tell you that you never talked to them. I’ve had issues on several occasions with them all pertaining to having terrible receptionists. We will not be taking our children there again.

We love Dr. Munoz as a person and as a doctor. He's wonderful with our kids and I can tell he is genuine and truly cares about people. He's been practicing a long time and is well-respected in the community. But I have a few complaints, and do agree with some of the other not-so-positive reviews. First, no one EVER answers the phone. I will call and call and call and not get anywhere. It just rings and rings until the system hangs up. No voicemail. Second, some of the people working the front desk are not as friendly as others. On occasion, I have not felt 100% welcome there upon check-in. And lastly, his website is out of date and needs current information about office hours, contact info etc.. Wait times are also not ideal. Dr. Munoz needs more help--GOOD help asap. So I hope he makes some of these necessary changes soon.

Overall had a terrible experience - would rate less if possible. Most of the staff is not friendly at all. Dr. Avilio is faster than speedy when seeing the patients. Personally, lasted over 2 hours waiting for my son to be seen and when the doctor enter the room he lasted like 30 seconds, literally. He doesn't seem to care about the kids and just prescribe a ton of medicine by just looking at your kids eye with a flashlight. Would not recommend at all. Obviously, he just cares about the money because he refuses to see patients without insurance. You must pay upfront if you want 30seconds from him no matter if your kid is dying outside. Terrible as a person - as he said that is not his problem.

Es horrible llamar por teléfono a la clínica. Abren a la 1 pm y ni siquiera cogen el teléfono a la 1:30 pm. Cuando vas a la consulta con appointment nunca entras a tu hora y si te quejas te entran a la habitación de espera y te demoras muchísimo para q llegue el doctor. Hace mucho q pienso en salir de allí y hoy es el día.

Worst doctors visit and I never even met the doctor. Went in as a new patient, filled out the sign in sheet. No staff greeted me or gave me the new patient forms,I had to request them. You can clearly see the staff behind the glass joking and bsing even though the glass has a reflective coating. Office opens at 9am, office had at least 6 patron but the doctor didnt arrive until 9:30. I know this because I was informed to remove my car from employee parking because the doctor was coming. Employee parking had no signs indicating it was employee parking by the way. You can clearly see as many patients are booked as possible to make as much money as possible.

I have to say am giving it 3 stars because the doctor is a really good doctor. He really listens to what you have to say. However the communication is horrible. I have reached out to make appt & nothing. Madr it online on a Monday for a Friday, todays is Wednesday afternoon & still haven’t heard if I can take my kid or not. I have called them many, many, many times and keep getting answering machine, have left 3 voice messages and nothing. I have talked to other parents &!isbthe same situation. If they could answer phone or @ least return phone calls I’d given it a 5 but nope.

This place seemed amazing the first few visits I went to. But after a while I realized he he had a lot of student doctor's every time I went. Know of them really knew what they were doing which made it difficult to ask them questions and they all assumed I didn't speak english, so they would talk to me in a slow type of speech. And when i would speak to them they looked so embarrassed for assuming. A few of the nurses are amazing but once you go to make a new appointment there so rude and snooty. The main doctor seems like an amazing guy but he seems so detached from. Hes so busy trying to train and teach everyone that he's loses focus on his job. Taking care of his patients. He has a student exame your child and give shots. He comes on for less then 5 minutes and leaves. One student doctor forgot to give my child a shot amd when he did he lightly scratched my kid with the needle. If he got people who know what there doing and people who cares maybe it could be better. But you walk in to that place and its like getting a cold shoulder from someone. No love or care in that place and I wish it wasn't that way.

I left there crying in disappointment after being excited to see (misleading) website that says he has experience working with ASD children. NOTHING at the trailer office displays how proud he is to do such work. We were rushed out out of there so fast it was ridiculous. No care for my child, no concern, just rude. And kids spilling out the door. Sick! I am not over exaggerating. keep looking.

I put a complaint directly with the medicaid and will put wherever I can as long as other parents and their children will not have a bad time as I had with my children

My oldest is 11 years of age and has been with the office since a few days old and while under Dr. Valasquez care. Dr. Munoz is vey knowledgeable, gental, and caring. I will continued to go for as long as we can. Their office is a 30 minuet commute from our current residence but its well worth it

First its hard to make appointment because they dont pick up and if you leave a message they dont respond. Second the Doc is good put doesnt spend more that 5 minutes in the room . lastly staff is good except the main front desk lady she takes her sweet time like ridiculously slow just to make an appointment or hand you a paper or print something for you like she takes 10 times longer than the doctor takes to see you yea it sucks
