Excellent doctor!! I really enjoyed going with my wife for regular visits, he always makes you feel very positive and explains to you everything in detail. I realized with him it's very important to have such a positive, almost friendly person with you when you go through pregnancy especially when things sometimes may not go according to plan. If we are lucky to have a 2nd child I would love to go again with Dr.Hood.

DO NOT ALLOW HIM TO CIRCUMCISE... We specifically asked him if he can and his response was “I do but I don’t like to”. Now we need to go to a pediatric urologist for a re-circumcision. I would never recommend him and thank God he was not on call when our baby was born. He is checked out and solely thinking of his retirement.

Dr. Hood is an amazing doctor very compassionate and caring for his patients, he made my delivery via c section to my son that was a preemie very pleasant! the only thing I would like him to change is his view on VBAC since it not even an option for him .

Let me just say I love this office until I became half way through my Pregnancy, I was a patient here before then. Dr.Adriana the PA is the best. So sweet, patient and makes you feel comfortable. But the rest of the staff as for the receptionist, Medical assistants also Dr. Hood is terrible. I was hospitalized overnight and the way him and his staff handled me after the issue was not professional or nice. I hated to leave the office but I cannot let someone treat me that way. I was not comfortable there any longer.

Love going to Doctor Hood! So professional and such a fantastic doctor. He always tells me what he thinks is best for me and doesn’t force me on medicine like the hospital would. He delivered my baby girl and I couldn’t be more happy with the whole process. The staff there are all so wonderful and caring. Love this office!

I recently visited Dr.Hood office for an OBGYN consult. Sometimes we get caught up in just writing about the doctor that we forget the key players whom play an important role in our care as well. I have to say I have never met such an informing & nice Physician Assistant as I did a couple days ago. His P.A: Adriana Herrera. She spent a great amount of time with me, did not rush nor make me feel unimportant. She also called me right away with my results, she answered all my question and was very kind to me, she truly has a compassionate caring personality that you don’t see often. The front desk was able to make me an appointment sooner than any other OB . I literally called 8 other OB office and not one was as generous nor went above and beyond like this first desk gal did to make the appointment convenient with my day schedule. Their MA was very personable, greeted me with a smile even made me laugh, thanks for that. I’ve yet to meet Dr. Hood but I can say based on his staff he must be a pretty good doctor too.
