Perhaps the best medical professional I have ever used. Doctors, like spouses, are all pots and lids, the right lid for the right pot. Dr. Barkin is real, down to Earth, humble, caring, experienced, competent and brilliant. There is a remarkable extensive history of colo-rectal cancer on both sides of my family. I chose to put myself in Dr. Barkin's care. I could recommend no one higher.

Dr Barkin is a compassionate and brilliant physician. His diagnostic and medical treatment skills are exceptional. He is especially talented in diagnosing and treating difficult cases. I highly recommend him.

He is a good doctor, but his nurse in the University of Miami is terrible!! Very rude, passive/aggressive.. His Nurse Ajitha Damodaran is the worst, I have never experienced something like this. I’m having a insurance problem with my MRI, it has been a month with a prior authorization and she is completely lost! I have sent her several emails, it’s like she does not understand. He is a very good doctor but 3 stars for his team. The ONLY reason I’m not changing doctors is because he is good but what a hassle!!
