I called the office several time and was placed on hold and hung up on when I was asking for answers on my abnormal Pap smear that no one bothered to inform me was abnormal! I highly recommend anyone that is considering this office to go somewhere else!

Supuestamente con la llegada de un segundo doctor (hija) todo debia mejorar, pero al parecer solo agregan mas gente a sus consultas. Para rematar te preguntan delante de todo el mundo la razon de tu visita, donde queda el derecho a la privacidad del paciente? Las empleadas llevan años aqui y se que internamente son una gran familia, pero les hace falta un entrenamiento en atencion a pacientes (no a clientes). Tratar de "corazon" y "mi amor", no sirve de nada. EL TIEMPO ES ORO.

BIG mistake. I was misdiagnosed. Dr. Tudela took his time and did proper tests and I am perfectly fine! I would wait happily for him. He is worth it! The problem on my opinion is the staff, the management, fact this that obviously unfortunately penalizes firstly the patients and secondly the doctor's image. The objective issues resulting from the bad management are: long, excruciating waiting time that practically almost always results in several hours (2, 3, 4, if not more, depending the day); phone calls that too often aren't even picked up and, when they are, often, depending who's picking up the phone, doesn't let you finish talking creating an unpleasant, frustrating and useless atmosphere that makes only loose time to everybody and that creates potential misunderstandings; requests that aren't satisfied within a reasonable time frame, if not satisfied at all, unless the patient is keeping calling for days, sometimes even weeks. Said this, and said that, at least as far as concerning my personal experience, staff is generally courteous when attended in person, but that this isn't enough for smoothly running a doctor's office, I believe that, in order to find a valuable and definitive solution, doctors should, shall step in by requesting, pretending from the Management (the people that in definitive are by them employed to run the office and paid by the patients expecting a good service in return) to make some important changes such as: reduce considerably the waiting time especially because patients have only scheduled appointments (it does then make sense to have reasonable waiting time), down to a maximum of 30/45 minutes. This can only be achieved by reducing the daily scheduled appointments in a manner to met that 30/45 minutes waiting time and by always having a back up alternative doctor to substitute Dr. Tudela when having to attend emergencies at the hospital (often the issue there!); as far as concerning phone calls not picked up, well, that is a simple matter of professionalism. An office open to the public, shall always have someone piking up a ringing phone! As simple as this! In case the person in charge of the phone, is as well in charge of other office duties and the variety of such duties (and the number of phone calls is too high) is so wide to impede prompt answered phone calls, then the office shall hire a person responsible only for picking up phone calls and answering inquiries/scheduling appointments, etc. Again, as simple as this. To conclude, the actions that can and shall be taken in order to solve the above-mentioned issues, aren't in definitive many, but absolutely needed for a smooth office operation in respect of the patients' right to receive the appropriate, less stressful possible medical service. Patients are already under stress because of their medical issues (and because of their medical bills!) to deserve even greater stress, without mentioning the additional economical distress they may face when asking for a day off at their work, just...for a gynecological visit(?!). Insane. I actually wonder if men have to go true the same issue when having to check their prostate. Hum, maybe not! Women, in a way or another, always have to suffer more than men! I really hope both, doctors and management, but mostly the doctors, will read this post and take action accordingly because...because in the end they are good doctors but... working in a bad management. Why is this if it could be as it should: fine?

I love them both and I WILL RECOMMEND THEM to anyone. I had ny baby and along the wait I had complications. my baby was taken immediately to miami children but while I was recuperating from the c-section my husband was with the baby. tudela will come to see me and evertime will give me false information about how the baby was doing and tell me she was not going to make it. in desoeration after hearing that u would call my husband and him tell me that they had not and could've not said anything cause they did not know. I had to ask the hospital not to let him in. I would never ever recommend him.

They have experience and they are really nice, BUT the ladies they have working there at the front desk and answering the phones. WOW. I mean. I know it must be busy but they need to be a little more professional and organized, and try not to hung up the phone. What if its an emergency? If you really need an appointment is better to go in person and wait like 30 minutes to talk to one of the ladies than calling. They just need to be more organize or hire more people to try to make it work. All im saying is, Great doctors, awful staff. BEWARE LADIES! This office is absolutely HORRIBLE! I give it a star because I have no options of providing a negative number! Where do I start? Well first off this is my first pregnancy and I’m sure that I don’t not speak for myself when I say that I would like to feel the most comfortable, informed and confident in my ob doctor as possible. Dr. tudela has been working in the field for many years and is very nice but unfortunately, the amount of patients in the office and scheduling technique or lack there of makes you feel nothing more than a number. I am not exaggerating when I tell you I have waited 3-4 hours EVERYTIME I’ve gone in for an appt. There are over 30 people in the waiting room, pregnant. Women standing in the office waiting hours and outside the lobby in a line! I am an extremely understanding person and therefore, have never complained so on my last visit when I was asked by the receptionist when I’d like to come back? I asked her if there was perhaps a day that wasn’t as busy. WHY DID I DO THAT? HOW DARE I? The receptionist proceeded to roll her eyes and say “seriously? All days are busy”. I was in shock. But again didn’t say anything. To make matters worse I wish I could tell you that the long wait was worth it. I was never instructed on what I can and cannot do. I feel like google and pregnancy apps have been my go to more than my doctor. The worst thing was that I ended up at the hospital with a horrible UTI (sorry for oversharing just have to make the public aware of the severity of the issue) due to the doctor telling me that my lab work was ok ( after my 4 hour wait and 5 min sit down with him) only to learn that this was incorrect and my lab work had been positive for UTI. The doctor at the hospital said “ didn’t your ob discuss lab results? Didn’t you prescribe you anti biotics?” As you may imagine this made me lose total confidence in the doctor. All in all after giving the office multiple chances because I do understand we are all human, I decided it would be best to go elsewhere. Let me tell you how it’s been week 2 of calling EVERY-SINGLE DAY to get my medical records faxed to the new doctor which has resulted unsuccessful. I continue to be placed on eternal hold, get messages that the office is closed, speak to reps who tell me “BETTY” is the only one in charge of this task and assure me that they will “leave the message”. Excuse #1- Betty has been on vacation. Excuse #2- she is currently in the Hialeah office Excuse #3- she has a pile and saw yours today and will do it tomorrow. So I finally get a hold of Betty on Thursday which she verbally promises me she will submit my fax that day. Guess what?? You guessed it! It wasn’t done! So I call the office Friday which guess what? ... IS CLOSED. I called again today Monday which a rep tells me Betty isn’t there but she spoke to her at which point Betty stated she hasn’t gotten to it and will do it tomorrow. TOMORROW! So now I am pregnant, frustrated, having gaps in my appointments to make sure my baby is healthy. And having to have no choice but to put up with the incompetence of this office. I hope my message can save someone the horrible experience. In the meantime, wish me luck! I hope that I can finally get out of this horrible office and go to somewhere professional that can make my pregnancy experience with a doctor and competent doctors office what it should of been from day 1.

I have been trying to get a refill in for months. My insurance company cannot reach the doctor and I am left on hold for hours on end before someone hangs up on me and I am forced to call back. Appointments run hours late, consistently, regardless what day of the week or time you schedule for. Great doctor but not worth the hassle.

I tell her i need to make an appointment, i went to the hospital and found out i was pregnant, they gave me a paper with the doctors information and said to follow up in 2 days, but because im only 4 weeks she cant schedule an appointment. Theres a reason they asked me to follow up!! I am never calling here again!! Very unproffesional and in cuban wrds: "tremendo balserismo" soo rudeee!!
