You are immediately put at ease seeing staff from the office working the surgical area. It's nice because they remember you and greet you like a friend. Dr. Wolf is incredibly friendly, has awesome bedside manners and has the surgical team extremely organized. One of his doctors even showed me my MRI's and explained the pressure on my nerve. I wanted to share my experience; I have been in pain for several weeks, I went to The Miami Neuroscience, schedule an appointment with Dr Valerio, who is part of a group. On appointment date, I never see the doctor, all check and study orders [such as MRI, X-Ray, etc] was done by the nurse. I mentioned them that I was in pain but they seems do not care about it. They do the MRI so they told me that they will submit the request to my insurance for an authorization. After 2 weeks waiting, I decided to call them and they said that they have not heard from my insurance. I called my insurance, agent said "We have not received any request and any request is processed within 24-48 hours by the way" which means that The Miami Neuroscience, specifically CAROLINA does not do a good administrative job. I decided to cancel everything and seek help from another specialist, probably out of state because health care in Miami is one of the worst I have seen in all my life!

Dr. Wolf gave my mother her life back. Ten years ago she was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia and she had a Microvascular Decompression surgery done. She was good for a few years until it came back and the meds she was on we’re not working anymore. We did research and found Dr. Wolf. He performed Gamma Ray surgery and she was good for a couple of years but it came back with a vengeance. She was hospitalized twice and ended up being malnourished because of her inability to eat. Dr. Wolf came up with a new treatment plan which included an second Gamma Ray surgery and alternative treatments. She is 100% back to her old self and is living life to the fullest! My mother passed away a year ago after struggling with a brain tumor caused by a gamma knife preocedure done with this doctor on which he also performed a cranial procedure without performing an MRI prior of the surgery. His gamma knife procedure was done in her brain stem instead of the trigeminal nerve. This cause a tumor to slowly grow through the years. She never had any symptoms of it. Until, he performed the cranial surgery. At the time of the procedure, he asked for my mothers MRI because he saw at that moment that something was not right. He finished the procedure without saying a word. After numerous attempts and weeks of having issues with the surgery, he performs the MRI and still denied the fact that a tumor was actually there. After going to numerous emergency depts and hospitals with my mother thats when we were told that she had a brain tumor caused by the radiation of the gamma knife procedure and that the cranial surgery sparked the growing. My Mom lost all her independency, work, house and quality of life in a matter of weeks. She was bed written quadupligic until God safe her from her misery. Shes in a better place now. To everyone seeing this doctor, there are numerous of patients that have lost their quality of life and their own life like my mother.
