I’m so happy with the service I receive from this office. They are very courteous and professional. I am always greeted with a smile and never have to wait for long periods of time just to see the doctor. I’m actually a patient of Ashley Willis she have been amazing to me. My skin looks so much better and I’m very grateful for all that these ladies have done for my skin. I highly recommend this office to anyone who’s looking for a great dermatologist you will not be disappointed.

She told me it was a simple allergy that I couldn't determine why she gave me that. Just send me a cream and now. 3 months later I continue with the rush, without knowing what it is and with $ 150 less that was what the consultation cost me. A doctor friend of the family told me that by appearance it can be a fungus, which does not seem allergy. So I continue with the same uncertainty I had before going to the office. I’ve been to several dermatologists in Miami and Dr Trowers is now my favorite so far. Others have either only seemed to focus on cosmetic dermatology, or feel very stuck up with rude office staff. Everyone in Dr Trowers office was so nice and professional. Her P.A. was thorough, she took her time on my annual skin screening and biopsied two sites virtually painlessly. She also helped put me on an acne treatment plan and talked about some other skin concerns. Not to mention I totally messed up my appointment date and came a week early, they still fit me in right away. At the end a staff member stayed with me to further explain everything the PA covered. She showed me some skincare products, and also told me cheaper OTC alternatives. I bought two products which I don’t regret at all because I’ve loved them. My skin already looks better and I only went 2 weeks ago.

One star is too high . I would not recommend Dr. Trowers office . Front desk receptionist is extremely rude and believes she’s all that. Very bad vibe and experience. I didn’t even walk in to see the Doctor. Since the receptionist (the front desk girl) had a know it all attitude , and was interested in the money. Demanding you to leave your credit card information, even if you have insurance with the “ oh well” attitude and rolling eyes . I decided to leave the office without seeing the Doctor. If those are the type of people she has working for her , I’m not interested. Too many Dermatologist in this area to have to put up with the front desk girl.

Half gassed help from the "Doctor" and her air headed staff, this place is a joke, overly expensive and barely pay any attention to you as a patient, i went with two problems and they stuck me on an insane regiment of medications that i could not even start because of the pricing of the "medicine". knowing i do not have insurance the office visit was 75 dollars, she saw me for all of 7 minutes so that is nearly 100 dollars for a 7 minute talk and trust me it was barely a talk as she is constantly going 2,000mph and it is tough to keep up. she prescribed 4 separate medications to me which i thought was a little much but here is the kicker the one medicine out of the bunch that i truly truly truly needed is 780 dollars, so needless to say i have not been able to even start the treatment i desperately need after telling her that i am a college student with no excess money to be able to spend, so she sends me 1,000 dollars worth of treatments, good job doctor heartless i guess i'll just have to continue suffering.

STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! This place does noyt deserve one star but we are forced to add one at minimum. This medical office was the first ever to have instructed me to contact my insurance provider to verify my own benefits. When I initially called, they never took my insurance information. When I showed up at the office, they made ME call the insurance provider - I have no knowledge of procedure codes or anything that the insurer was asking for! To make things worse, they asked for a credit card for "any charges not covered by insurance". I did not feel comfortable with that, especially since I now was unsure what the coverages were. I didn't even know if the visit woul d be covered so I left, A bad experience to say the least. Never again and I will advise anyone to stay away.

This was my first visit here. I liked the convenience of online booking. I was able to get in the same day that I scheduled. I received a confirmation phone call soon after booking online. Some of the forms were emailed to me to complete prior to arrival. Upon arrival, the receptionist had a pleasant and professional demeanor. I didn't feel like my wait (in waiting or exam room) was too long. Dr. Trowers was concise with her words, which I have no issues with. I thought she was thorough. Her assistant provided written instructions for my needs, as well as verbal instructions. They allowed opportunities for me to ask questions and answered them. I though it was a good visit; from scheduling to resolution.

I made an appointment for 1 PM in the middle of my work day. I hadn't been in the office since 2016. I got to the office at 12:50 and the woman at the window said she would take my insurance card but that the people who process the info were at lunch and wouldn't be back till 1. Which is my first question, why would they take appoinment for 1 if they won't see anyone on the dot. I HATE that Dr offices do that. They have NO respect for people's time. After waiting more than 15 minutes, I left after I was lied too about being seen next. It's really quite a disgusting system they have because if I canceles they would charge me $20. One thing, I called in and requested to speak to someone higher up and when another person picked up the phone she identified herself as Dr. Towers. She did apologize for how things went and blamed the insurance company for the wait (not her staff or over booked time slot). Typical. I'll be going to another Dermatologist.

I was brought in before my appointment time. I had asked to be squeezed in at the last moment and was accommodated with no problem. I made an appointment for 1 PM in the middle of my work day. I hadn't been in the office since 2016. I got to the office at 12:50 and the woman at the window said she would take my insurance card but that the people who process the info were at lunch and wouldn't be back till 1. Which is my first question, why would they take appoinment for 1 if they won't see anyone on the dot. I HATE that Dr offices do that. They have NO respect for people's time. After waiting more than 15 minutes, I left after I was lied too about being seen next. It's really quite a disgusting system they have because if I canceles they would charge me $20. One thing, I called in and requested to speak to someone higher up and when another person picked up the phone she identified herself as Dr. Towers. She did apologize for how things went and blamed the insurance company for the wait (not her staff or over booked time slot). Typical. I'll be going to another Dermatologist.

Upon arrival, I was required to sign a form charging me an undisclosed amount of money to my credit card at an undisclosed time in the future. I was told this was non negotiable. This is insane. 2. I went for ONE REASON ONLY and that's the one thing dr trowers didn't do. I went to have a mole check because my primary care had been concerned about some things she saw. ---Dr Andrea Trowers was very quick and looked me over very hastily as if she was in a hurry. She did not look at me thoroughly at all. And I had to REQUEST she look at parts of my body covered by clothing. Even then she acted like it was an inconvenience to her and did not check thoroughly at all. I KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE A FAMILY HISTORY OF SKIN CANCER AND HAVE BEEN CHECKED PROPERLY MANY TIMES BY OTHER DOCTORS. 3. All she did was pressure me into buying very expensive beauty products and creams I did not need from their office. I now have to go see another dermatologist to do a proper skin check and I am out the money that I was charged from dr trowers. I will be reporting this place to BBB and other review sites. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

If I could give her no stars I would. The first thing that happens at this doctor's office is they make you sign a form giving them your credit card number. Even before you meet the doctor. Then you have to wait an hour to see her. Apparently there was an issue with my insurance, and instead of sending me a bill or letting me know anything about any type of issue, they deducted money from checking account. When I called, the rude receptionist told me it wasn't their fault if my insurance company didn't cover something and that the insurance company was responsible for letting me know I owed Dr. Trowers money, not them. Also, they try to sell you their products and place you on a "skin care" regiment, with the sole purpose of upping their billing!! DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!! They DO NOT work with patients!!!!

From my initial encounter with Dr. Trowers in September, the "diagnosis" was very short and swift. I had a sudden breakout and she prescribed an amazing cream ($15) that worked instantly! Unfortunately, she warned me to stop using it after just one week because it could be "addicting" and that I should now work on fixing some skin discoloration. So I paid $95 for the next cream. This new cream was/is extremely potent and completed irritated my skin, even with the smallest amount applied. This in turn, made my skin condition worse. On and off for the last two months my condition worsened, and I purchased several over-the-counter creams to fix my issue, because in the back of my head, the first cream that actually worked (and the cheapest one) on my counter at home, was too "dangerous" to use more than that one initial week. I went back to Dr. Trowers who then prescribed me a cream that came out to be $500 without insurance and $300 with insurance (that I obviously did not pay for)... Fast forward this week, I discovered that the first cream (the $15 cream that actually works), is prescribed on a MONTHLY basis, and my good friend and her baby daughter use it for skin breakouts and eczema, and other intense skin issues, and that her Dr. recommends a minimum of one full MONTH of usage when these breakouts occur. In fact, like most prescribed products, one week is not even close to enough time for treating an outbreak. You must at minimum, use the prescribed product continuously for weeks, if not months. These last few months have been a total nightmare for me and even psychologically harmful, as I contemplated back and forth about using the only cream that worked, but resisted per Dr. Trower's 'warnings.' It is safe to say that I am lathered in the original product and will be emerged with it for quite some time (my friend gets monthly prescriptions and is even shipping a new/unused box to me in the mail).
