Worst groupon experience ever and lost a few hundred dollars from not being able to be seen!!- Very unfriendly staff and doctor, and no flexibility on scheduling- had trouble finding the groupon barcode on request (just had the email confirmation) and was told he wouldn't see me if I was only 5 minutes late looking for it and would not reschedule more than once. And I already prepaid for this?!? I have never EVER had such a poor experience at any kind of doctors office. Probably fortuitous that I didn't have this guy touch my face.

DISCRIMINATED AGAINST!!! My minor child has been going to this office for several months. Sometimes one of her siblings may come with us. Today at the appointment I had her two siblings with us whom are minors also. When we attempted to go back when she was called one of the staff members said " you can't go back there with all those kids". Keep in mind there were two children plus the patient. She proceeded to tell me I had to reschedule after coming over 40 miles for the appointment because this is an unstated policy that I was supposed to apparently know. I was so appalled that someone would say this especially since I was never told this is " Dr. Bonder's" policy. Did I mention that Dr Bonder stood right there and never spoke up and said a word. Then she states that " It would be too much if they told patients no children along all The other reminders they have to give." The staff definitely needs to take a sensitivity training!

I don't ever write reviews, but I read some of the previous ones while making an appointment with Dr. Bonder, and thought it necessary to comment to help another person make the right decision for themselves. I would never go to another dermatologist in this area. I am a retired medical professional and am aware of all the physicians available in this area to see. Dr. Bonder is an extremely knowledgeable physician who has seen many members of my family as well, per my referral. I have taken all of my children to him- and that is saying a lot. I need my doctors to be able to correctly diagnose and treat my conditions. I don't need someone who is unsure of making a decision, keeps me waiting, or acts like we are good friends during my visit. As for the people saying they had to reschedule when they were late, well that is completely understandable! I remember patients of mine showing up late. They have no idea or just don't care how their untimeliness affects all the other patients that need to be seen. Those few minutes can take away from the quality of care other patients also deserve. I would think and hope if you had an important appointment with a doctor that you would show up early instead of late! The doctor has other patients to see and isn't responsible to cater only to you. It's extremely rude and irresponsible to be late for ANY appointment and if you have some sort of emergent situation that prevents you from arriving on time, you call and reschedule. Common courtesy is something many people in society today are lacking. Bottom line- if you care about your health and want to be seen by a expert in dermatology and you prefer an appointment in a timely fashion with proper diagnosis and prescription for treatment, you will have a positive experience at Dr. Bonder's office.

To be very honest medicine in U.S is a business, they don't serve people they are just interested about money, I went this afternoon to see the Dr and the front desk were very unprofessiona, they didn't know what was my emergency to see him but they refused to see me because I did not have my ensures in fistic, what I had was a picture of it because something happen to it that I couldn't find it.

I went to see the doctor for few spots on my skin, He gave a one minute treatment. Then receive the bill $200. Cannot believe it!!! Called the office, the woman who is in charge with the bill M was so so so rude, she wouldn't listen and threaten me , if I kept talking she will hang up the phone, and she did ! Then she called me to threaten me to pay and also won't listen. It is a really bad experience! Will never go back again! If i read people's review before, i wouldn't go.

Nancy Ryle

Unfriendly staff and Dr. Bonder has no professionalism or bedside manner. Never introduced himself or the resident that he brought into my appointment without asking me if I minded. Never again!

Tamyra Shaw

Office staff are extremely rude and unprofessional!!

Danielle Giles

Called office and tried to schedule an appointment. The front staff were uneducated and didn't even know what procedures he does

JJ Nasuti

Worst experience, dr. Bonder would not even look at my skin and I would be examined for no more than 30 seconds. Never go here, office ladies are also very rude and ignorant. Was going there for about a year and dropped him I was wasting my money.

Bill Alexander

Dr. Bonder is a true professional who knows his stuff. I wouldn't go to anyone else but him. The office staff is extremely helpful and very nice. They will turn you away if you are late, but I'm okay with that because they tell you up front to be on time so other patients aren't made to wait! This policy is another big reason why I see Dr. Bonder, and enjoy the reception from his staff.

Things you hope to find in a Doctor's Office... Pleasant staff, polite greetings, nice looking comfortable waiting room, a nice Dr who listens to your concerns and helps you find a solution. If you are looking for any of those things... DO NOT GO HERE. I should have read the reviews before I went and saved myself the agony, wasted time and money.

Eugene Wasnetsky

My experience here was what I expected. The staff was quick and courteous. Dr Bonder was knowledgeable and efficient. It was as close to effortless as I can imagine a medical experience can be.

My daughter has previously been seen by Webster Dermatology, but due to her school/work schedule, we were not able to get an appointment soon enough, so I scheduled something for her with Dr. Bonder. She said she felt rushed when he was in the office with her; she was trying to ask questions, and she said, "he was trying to rush out the door". When she went to get the prescription filled, we learned that because there is no generic brand for what he gave her, and the cost was $108. I called to she if there was something else that he could call in, and the receptionist said that Dr. Bonder refuses to use any cream with a steroid, and what he wrote was the safest medicine for her. I'm all for safety; however, not everyone has$100 for what was undoubtedly a tiny tube of cream. A little flexibility and understanding the needs of all your patients would go a long way!! I really wish we had just waited for the appointment with her doctor, since we'll have to schedule an appointment anyway. Patience is a virtue! Save your money and your time and choose another practice.

Just talking on the phone to the front staff is horrible they are extremely rude & lie for each other. I didn't even get to meet the doctor yet I couldn't get pass the nasty receptionist. It's nobody's fault that you chose to do such a minimal unimportant job. You shouldn't take it out on anyone, go to college and change your circumstances. If you can go some where else avoid the headache!

Great staff very friendly and helpful.Doctor is always on time

The worst service I ever saw in my life. The lady at the desk is rude. My appointment was too quick. I was trying to ask questions. He brush me off.

I have been to Dr. Bonder several times and so have members of my family and we have never had any of the problems with him or his staff that these other "anonymous reviewers" wrote about. I have always been greeted professionally and shown right in to see the Doctor. And he has always done outstanding work. In fact, my former family doctor actually mis-diagnosed a small case of psoriasis as hives! Dr. Bonder correctly diagnosed it AND gave me a prescription that cleared it up in a few days. I recommend him to anyone looking for a good dermatologist.

Went to my appointment with my 2yr old. When I was checking in, they told me my child wouldn't be able to come into the dr office with me and asked if she would be okay in the waiting room. I couldn't believe they would think I would leave my 2yr old child alone in the waiting room. They told me I could reschedule for a better time without my child. I left and will find another dermatologist. This is the first time I was told and couldn't bring my child into a doctors visit.

I saw Dr. Bonder yesterday afternoon. I arrived ten minutes early to make sure I had time to complete paperwork and provide them with my insurance information. The doctor was able to bring me in about five minutes early and I was actually finished and picking up my receipt at the time I was actually scheduled to be seen! I followed the clear directions I was provided by his staff, brought cash to cover my copay and extended the respect of arriving earlier than necessary. My mind is now at ease that the areas about which I was concerned aren't problematic. The last time I saw Dr. Bonder was in 1977 or so. I was a teenager at the time.

It saddens me to see people write these bad reviews about Dr. Bonder. A year ago I was hesitant to schedule an appointment because of some mixed reviews. Thank God I gave more weight to the positive reviews! Initially I needed an appointment ASAP because my hair started falling out after a recent surgery. Dr. Bonder made time for me ASAP. My experience with him went so well, I later brought my son for teen acne. Dr. Bonder amazed me with the time he spent with him. Not only does he discuss the acne/medical issues but he even takes the time to talk my son about his life...tells him short stories that make a teenage boy comfortable to open up. Like a mentor! THEN, I referred my husband for a questionable mole. Dr. Bonder assessed my husband accurately and made sure his mole was removed immediately to ensure the cancer wouldn't affect his lymph nodes. AND, Dr. Bonder respects YOUR time! He won't overbook appointments thereby leaving you to wait for 45 minutes to be seen like most dr's do. The world needs more professional doctors like Dr. Bonder!

Rachel Zdziech

Staff is extremely rude and inconsiderate. I've been seeing Dr. Bonder for over a year and his staff always rubbed me the wrong way. Still went to see him only because I was there for him. Referred my mother they denied her because she didn't have i.d on but brought her health insurance card. They only accept cash for payment which is annoying. Doctor prescribed me facial cream and when I went for a check up I told him I didn't like it. Dr. Bonder said "don't use it". I'm here to clean up my acne. Changed my number I called to update asked when my appointment was they reminded me tonight. Could not commit to the appointment, refused to waive the $25 cancellation fee. When I had to reschedule I was considerate and called every time. I'm the patient you work with me. I will never make an appointment here ever again and look else where. Again staff is extremely unprofessional and rude.

William Alexander

Dr. Bonder knows his stuff, and gets you in and out quickly with a diagnosis and solution that is right on target. Staff are efficient and helpful. Can't ask for more than that!

HORRIBLE STAFF! I went with my friend for moral support. She has anxiety and she forgets what she has to say to the doctor because she gets very nervous. And she told us to remind her what she wanted to say to him. They wouldn't let us in with my friend. We asked if we could write on a piece of paper what she had so the front desk people could give it to Dr.Bunder. They gave us so much hassle about a stupid piece of paper. The doctor saw my friend for 5 minutes and the front desk never gave the doctor what the concerns were. And my friend forgot what to mention all her concerns to the doctor! The staff were very rude and unprofessional. According to my friend the doctor was very standoffish and seemed uneducated. It's safe to say I will never recommend this place to anyone and my friend will be going somewhere else. AND The front desk were discriminative towards an Asian mom and her son when we were in the waiting room. Giving them attitude and making rude faces because they had accents. Very unprofessional! ALSO the front desk personal dismissed my friend from the office and if my friend had not remembered she had left her ID/insurance card. They would have never gave them her ID/insurance card back. If I could them negative stars I would!

Tish Ashley

They are nasty and rude, he needs to be shut down.. smh

Shanice Griffith

I saw Dr. Bonder years ago for a skin issue. The treatment he recommended worked. Now, I have a concern regarding my scalp and decided to take a look at the reviews since it has been so long. I am appalled at the responses to negative reviews. Whether they are written by Dr. Bonder or not, it does not look good on the practice. The tone is so unprofessional and classless. I am disappointed that I ever gave this practice a dime!

Brian Davis

Very rude. Front desk staff. Find another doctor.

Appreciate the fact that Dr. Bonder runs a tight ship. Never have a problem getting an appointment, and always seen within 5 minutes of arrival. Office staff are always friendly and efficient. Doctor is very knowledgeable and took time to fully understand my situation. His office does work solely off of paper files, but has not impacted the service received.

Ang Marie

Very knowledgeable and helpful at first, but after 5 appointments (he had me return every 2 weeks) there was no progress and I felt like I was just wasting money. My last appointment he spoke rudely and acted like I was stupid - for self medicating for nasal allergies when they had nothing to do with my skin rash I was seeing him for - so I never went back.

I was greeted by friendly, efficient staff. They required minimal paperwork. I waited maybe 3 minutes and was taken back to an exam room. Waited less than 1 minute and Dr. Bonder came in. He was friendly and expert. As a health practitioner, I can appreciate that Dr. Bonder and his staff run a tight ship. What you get by complying with their guidelines is excellent, efficient care.

DO NOT COME HERE , waste of moneyyyyyyy !!! Fist off the doctor wasn’t pleasant and clearly isn’t a people’s person or maybe i caught him on the wrong day. But I came into the office for acne flare up and all he did was look at me and prescribes two medicications without ANY explanation AT ALL , I was in for literally two minutes with NO doctor consultation. He rushed me out without even caring about my condition. Second this office is money hungry and they’ll rip you off and they will never get any money from me EVERRRRRRR !!!!!

I tried to schedule an appointment for my son who is in a lot of skin pain. I'm not able to take off of work, so my mother offered to take him. They won't allow him to be seen unless I bring him in myself. I offered to sign a permission slip and they still said no. Then they told me I need to find a new doctor! I have never in my life been so offended, because it definitely wasn't said in a polite tone. My poor baby has a super sore mouth, and they won't let his grandmother bring him in to be checked out. this office is horrible.

Kenneth Evans

Very professional and considerate of patients time no one wants to wait for a hour to be seen because another patient got there late my time is as valuable as well as the doctors is an if more doc's stuck to this mindset a20 min appt would'nt take 2 hours.

Google User

I do not understand the bad reviews. Dr. Bonder is very knowledgeable in what he does. He has been the ONLY doctor that has prescribed the right medication to relieve my dermatitis. He is is also the only doctor that has given me follow up appointments to see how the meds are working.

nicole Lejeune

Im a single mom who always has my child with me. I was told once there that no children were allowed. I expressed concern about several moles I'd like removed from my face for cosmetic reasons. Dr rolled his eyes and said "i don't understand you people. Would you rather have a mole or a scar? " he seemed to think i was vain for wanting moles removed.

Michael Gaglio

I've always been in and out. Only because he didn't care what I had to say. I missed one appt. Because of work so they refused to reschedual me. I've always shown up early to my appointments. Very rude and inconsiderate since they know my condition and how long it can take to find and get into another dermatologist office. All I can really say is these are just bad money hungry people.

shakeena wilson

Dr. Bonder is a wonderful. just today I had an 2nd appt. for my son. First of all I need them to get up to date office material. The old lady takes appt. on loose leaf paper, hand written and she's very nasty! I had to leave because I felt like I was about to snap! smh! I will never go back as long as he keep the rude bitties of front! I rated it one star all because of his staff.

Sarah Savery

I have been a patient of Dr. Bonder's for over 5 years and have had nothing but superior experiences with both him personally and his staff. I first saw him after suffering from painful eczema on my hands for over a year which my PCP could not clear up. I was able to be seen quickly and he took special time and consideration in prescribing a treatment that was safe and effective while breastfeeding. The eczema was cleared up within 10 days and his follow up was excellent. I have since referred both family and friends to this practice and all have been impressed with Dr. Bonder and his staff. Things to note, Dr. Bonder does not double book and sees all patients promptly. For that reason I understand he does not take late patients. Also Co payments are due in cash or check at time of visit. This is a wonderful, small practice with no frills. In and out with the right diagnosis and a plan of treatment. What more could you ask for?

I tried to give this office the benefit of doubt, despite the many bad reviews that they have. My experience with Dr. Bonder’s office and staff proved the reviews right. My visit with Dr. Bonder literally lasted 5 minutes, but I was satisfied being that I got what I came for (a prescription to treat my skin issues). BUT My main suggestion would be for Dr. Bonder to reevaluate his staff (Especially, the Receptionist). After my first initial appointment with Dr. Bonder, I called to schedule a follow up appointment, as the doctor instructed during my first visit. I could tell that the rude and unprofessional receptionist was having a miserable day. She refused to schedule my follow up appointment. She kept lying, stating that my insurance company did not pay for my first visit, when they actually did as I was looking at the statement from the insurance company while on the phone with her. I kept explaining to her that I had proof that the visit was paid, but she kept cutting me off on the phone and over-talking me, while refusing to look into the issue. I hung up with her, called the insurance company to verify that the office has been paid (which they verified that they have). When I called back and explained this to the receptionist she became even more upset that I proved her wrong. When I asked for her to reach out to the insurance company (which is a part of her job), the lazy, dumb-founded receptionist refused to. When I asked her if I could talk without being interrupted she then started an argument with me over the phone by stating that I was “giving her attitude” (Which is also unprofessional). I kindly put her in her place, as I refuse to be mistreated as a patient, and I am now a ongoing patient of an amazing Dermatologist office close by in location. If you’re looking for a quality Dermatologist office, please look elsewhere to professionals who actually value their patients and their health. As you can see, the staff is in the reviews responding to patients’ sharing their experiences in a very rude and argumentative manner (which I find amusing being that they’re proving everyone's point). I also attached proof, as the Receptionist has already proven herself to be dishonest.

The front desk staff were extremely rude and unprofessional I was not greeted but I was rudely told i couldn't be seen because I was about 10mins late due to traffic. This was my first time there and I asked to reschedule i was informed when you miss your first appt you cant make a new one. She was very rude about it. And I expressed that their customer service was TERRIBLE!!!!!! Especially since I didn't miss my appointment. I could understand if I never showed up. Worst experience in a Drs. Office in my entire life!!!! And they have the worst facial expressions as well!!! I wouldn't recommend anybody to go there EVER!!!! I wish I could give this place negative stars.

Sadly we never got to see the doctor. I made an appointment for my daughter who just turned 18 and at the time I made the appointment I told the office staff she didn't have a picture ID. She doesn't drive, hasn't started college yet etc. They never mentioned that would be an issue. We arrived for the appointment and the staff told us she couldn't be seen due to her lack of ID. They went so far as to ask the doctor and he refused to see her. I,as her parent had ID, my insurance is covering her, and I was paying the copay (in cash because they don't accept debit or credit cards - which is weird). When I asked if we could reschedule (we were waiting for her state ID in the mail) They sd no, he will not reschedule because we took up his time today. I'm sure they assume that their time is more important than the rest of us but no one would have wasted any time if the staff would have said at the time of the appointment they would not see her without ID. I promptly called my PCP and explained the situation and they laughed at the absurdity of the situation and explsined that there is leeway in that rule and made her an immediate appointment. Maybe he is a good doctor, who knows. I can tell you that I work at a retirement facility and most of our residents no longer have ID. We regularly set they up with doctors appointments and have never had this problem. As for referring any of our residents and families to his office, it will never happen.

Demetris White

After looking at all of the bad reviews I was reluctant to visit but i was optimistic. I was 9 minutes late because I was told i needed cash for my copays just to get there for the receptionist to tell me he may not see me. Then the receptionist and I had a disagreement about why my wife's not my name was on the insurance card. If she would have ran the card she would have seen my name. After all that her coworker cosigned her explanation of why my name should be on it. Either way there should have been no conversation about my insurance because if I couldn't use it I wouldn't have tried. At that point I said forget it and the receptionist agreed "hilarious" didn't even get ti ser the Dr. Maybe it read for the best. What professionalism they have. Should have believed the reviews 85% of them were not favorable something definately had to be going on.

Carolyn Mansk

Went in for a whole body cancer screening as a preventative measure. It was a quick visit he explained any issues that I had questions with of my skin and told me exactly what they were. Walked away with no worries. The staff was very professional

Brenda Spencer

If your African American! I would ADVISE YOU! DONT WAIST YOUR TIME!!!!! I was 5 min late for my appointment due to traffic... When I arrived to the office I asked to reschedule and the lady at the front desk said he doesn’t allow you to reschedule if your late for your appointment period ... but I’m glad.. this shows this doc wasn’t a good fit for me.

What Not

Dr. is rude!

Cheer Chick

Had an appointment today, was running a few minutes late so I called to ask if it was still worth it for me to come. Receptionist told me they gave a grace period and said it was okay. Got there 8 mins late and was told I couldn’t be seen and that they wouldn’t reschedule me. Very rude and unfriendly staff.
