Been to a lot of dermatologists over the years, and normally it's an in and out type of thing- they never care to explain the options or talk to me in depth about things I've tried in the past, but this was totally different. He told me all my options, what to expect with each one, and what he would recommend. He was super professional, friendly, and you could tell really cares about each individual understanding there options and what side effects, what is the outcome etc. would highly recommend. The office is nice, neat, and clean as well. The girls at the front desk were pleasant as well.

I've been seeing Dr. Minh Thieu for almost 11 years. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, thorough in her exams, and up-to-date in the latest treatments. She diagnosed a serious melanoma that required surgery, which another dermatologist did not address aggressively enough. She diagnosed a recurrence 3-1/2 years later, which also required surgery. In both cases, she set in motion immediate, specific plans of where to go and who to see for surgery. I continue to see her every six months for routine follow-up. By the way, I drive an hour so that I can continue to see her.

I've been to tons of dermatologist over the years and I must say I'm really impressed with Dr. Thieu. I've been suffering from eczema all my life and he was the only one that actually sits down and spend time to really look me over and TALK to me. Not just come in prescribe some stuff and leave. He gave me things to relief my flare and also long term solutions (none steroidal) to help minimize flareups in the future. After seeing Dr. Thieu I feel so relieved and now have hope that my eczema can actually be managed.

I typically have a good experience. The office staff is friendly. The doctors are great . But today I get there for my 9am morning appt (I always have morning appt) after 30 min commute there, expecting to be in and out within 30 minutes as is typical and by 945, I'm still not seen and told it'll be another 15-20 mins til I get called back. So not until 10am, including my commute, I spend 2 hours away from work that I have to make up . And that's not including how ever long the actual appt would last...so I left .I'm sorry but you make $150 to see me for 15 minutes while I'm losing almost 3 hours of work) no thank you. There has to be some type of preventative measure in place to respect patients time also.

Displeased with the service here. At my first appointment Dr Thieu did not even look up from her notes to examine my skin. She recommended a medication that, unbeknownst to her, she had given to a relative and friend of mine as well. I feel like she is just pushing this medication to anyone who comes in. They also pushed me to go on birth control, again before even looking at my skin. When I called the Doctor with a concerning issue after taking the medication she prescribed, she would not even call me back directly. She had a receptionist relay her message. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

My only complaint is the front desk.... there is NO privacy when discussing insurance, address, phone number, etc. I have learned a lot sitting in the waiting area.... why someone is there, what their insurance is, as well as their copay. I was looking for dermatologist because I was having some issues with my skin I came across innovative dermatology. I also spoke to couple friends who have been there one had good things to say and one said she would never go back I decided to give them a try. I wrote down some questions because I did not want to forget what I wanted to talk to the doctor about my skin concerns. The office was nice and clean the front desk staff was nice and helpful. When I saw Dr. Thieu I felt rushed he gave me some samples and tried to send me on my way whether you have 3 questions or 20 questions you want your doctor to make you feel like they care about you and your concerns. Dr. Thieu made me feel like he only cared about my money. I still feel as confused about my skin as I did when I first walked in there I did not get much out of the visit. I have never seen or heard of a doctor's office scheduling a new patient for 15 minute appt. I will not be returning to innovative dermatology.

First impressions are everything!! I walk in and was not greeted appropriately. I approached the reception desk and there are at least five white females seated. One immediately jumps on the phone and says oh I’ll be with you in a minute while the others look away. So I sat down and watched at least four patients walk in and be greeted who just so happened to be white. After five minutes passed I went back to the reception desk and the girl simply said “oh” I forgot you were waiting which is odd because I was sitting right in front of her. As far as the overall visit with the dermatologist I explained my symptoms and in less than five minutes was given a real solution which has been a social life saver. So I give my immediate office encounter a two only because of the decor and the attitudes well if you have an imagination you know where. As far as doctor encounter I’d rate her five stars.

I needed to find a dermatologist to check out a few moles that were concerning and to remove two on my neck. I called and talked to numerous clinics before I decided on this one. The front staff desk was friendly and helpful when I called to describe what I was looking for. My appointment was set up with ease in the timeframe that I wanted. I arrived for my appointment and got into the doctor on time. I walked out 45 minutes later with 3 moles removed, all of my concerns addressed and new knowledge about moles. I was thrilled with the high level of the medical care I received, the ease and efficiency of the office, and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

It was honestly a terrible experience. I went months ago and I'm still annoyed by the visit. They didn't see me until hours after my appointment time. The doctor could not have been more curt and rude and unhelpful. I was shocked. She barely checked me and when I discussed rusmy skin frustrations there were no real solutions presented. The office staff was okay but I will never go back based on the doctor. I have no idea where all the good reviews have come from.

I had taken a appointment a month ago. The receptionist called my insurance and verified that they accept. After a month when I went in for my appointment, they say it was their mistake and they do not accept the insurance. They are rude and wasted my time.

Dr Minh Thieu is a professional through and through. She has respect for her patients, and you can truly tell that she loves what she does. She takes the time needed to answer any questions I have, and answers them in a way that the patient can understand. Her staff is friendly. The office is modern and inviting. The wait time may vary, however, from on-time to as much as 40 mins after schedule. But that's because she's spending as much time with her patients as they need. I highly recommend Innovative Dermatology and Dr Thieu!

My primary doctor recommended Dr. Minh Thieu for my hair thinning. I decided to give Innovative Dermatology a shot because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the not so good reviews. First, I waited exactly 1 hr and 5 min before the Dr. came in. I was not impressed with her bedside manners. She explained how it's normal to lose hair due to old age, hereditary, etc. She examined my scalp briefly and said it's normal, but if I want, I could try Rogaine, or medication that I have to take long term (10 to 20 years), do a scalp biopsy to see the underlying condition, and even implants if I want to try. Woah, seriously? I am not even bald, just thinning and losing hair every time I shower. And wanted to know if there is something I can or should do to slow the process. I asked her at least 3 times that if this is normal, then maybe I should wait. She confirmed but still offered those extreme measures if I "want to try".

Doctor was completely an idiot.Told to husband he has nothing on his feet.It is only a blister and did not give any treatment.When we went to other doctor in Philadelphia downtown, they took his skin for test and have found it is fungal infection and now my husband is under treatment. What do you charge money for? "Our office does not recall a recent patient visit that matches what you are describing. "_Of course, what can you say?But our card was charged money for nothing by your office!!!There is nothing to discuss in private with you.Your doctor should return back for studies, as even I can see that is my husband`s feet looked like having infection, that`s why I sent him to doctor!
