I recently read a bad review for Dr. Sowa on Google and I cannot disagree more!! I have had several hand surgeries with Dr. Sowa and I have found Dr. Sowa and his staff to be very personable and accommodating to me and my schedule. I am in law enforcement and my hands are important to me. I would not choose another orthopedic surgeon or office to have surgery.

I went to Doctor Sowa to get a cortisone shot in the joint on the end of my little finger. I found him to be polite but to the point. He put the shot in quickly and skillfully. I have since been back and have had shots in as many as three fingers at a time. He has always done a good job and has spent more time talking to me about some work projects I had going. I will be going back to him as often as the need arises.

My husband and I have been going to Dr.Sowa , for about 20 years now ,and he has always been professional and caring. Dr Sowa has done more surgeries on both my husband , and myself, than most of the others, and our report with him has been especially good. He has been friendly and personable, and professional. He is an excellent Dr, and if he says he can fix you trust him! He will. We love First state orthopedic!! The staff has always been very friendly, and truly concerned about what ever issues we bring to his office...the surgery center is, a very professional atmosphere everyone there is welcoming and supportive. Someone, always calls to check up on the patient the following day after surgery. All the Dr’s and medical staff for first state ortho are top notch, and we will always go there!!

I found Dr Sowa not very personable at first but my issues weren’t too bad so I let it go. I now have several issues and on subsequent visits with him, Dr he was dismissive and outright abrasive. Couldn’t give me the time of day because I wasn’t ready to schedule surgery right away. I will never go to him again nor will he get one more dime from me!
