The staff and the physicians are so pleasant and helpful. I was very satisfied with my visit at Bryn Mawr Dermatology and would recommend this practice to anyone needing medical or cosmetic dermatological services. I had an annual skin screening with Lynn Williams, and I was so pleased with how thorough she was. I had a few spot I was concerned about and she did a great job checking them out and explaining what they were and that they were not dangerous. I'm so happy with me experience and will most definitely be returning to this office for all my dermatology needs.

I made an appt with Dr Santa three weeks ago based on a recommendation from an existing client. I took a day off work and showed up 30 minutes early to complete paperwork. Doctor wasn’t there (sick day I think) that day and they lost my appointment. I was in the system at least. I can’t take the chance of rescheduling to miss another day of work. Front desk person apologized and was polite. Can’t risk returning.

AVOID at all costs! My son recently had warts and the standard of care was horrible. They did not communicate what they were doing (freezing the wart) would be classified to my insurance company as "OUTPATIENT SURGERY" and we would have to pay a bill. I never signed anything and when I called to ask about the bill, the office told me "I should have asked before letting them touch the patient". I am appealing this with my insurance company because to me that is FRAUD! I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

This is a wonderful office filled with the kindest people. I actually look forward to my appointments here. The place is beautiful, comfortable, and always impeccably clean. appointments always start on time, and I don’t think I’ve ever sat in the waiting room for more than 2 minutes. The doctors are kind and really take their time, I never feel rushed and all of my options are always fully explained. I also started getting microneedling sessions with Mary. Mary is so kind and professional and always does an amazing job and has great recommendations on products. I would highly recommend this office, incredible service and a staff that truly puts patients first

Truly amazing! I've had terrible experiences with dermatologists, but I am glad I trusted BDT because they've renewed my hope that my skin will clear. My PAC, Lynn, was very considerate and gentle in her technique. I had six lumps on my face due to an allergic reaction to birth control [Sprintec] and after just 36 hours every single bump has gone down 80%. I was in pain before and now I look and feel normal again. I went to Mary, the esthetician, for an SA peel the day after -- I appreciated how they fit me in at short notice. Mary was so friendly, considerate of my comfort during the peel since it was my first one, and knew exactly what to do. It's 2 days out and I have no major redness or burns, just gentle flaking and fresher skin starting to come through. She also recommended two products [Glycolic peel pads and a hydrapeptide moisturizer for oily skin] sold in the office that have actually started to work already...and nothing ever works well for me, so it's a small miracle. Thank you, BDT, for saving my skin!

I do not recommend. None of the costs of the simple mole biopsy were pointed out to me despite me asking. OK, the dermatologist had an intern there, I'm fine with that but the doctor's manner was brusque. Also, once you give these guys your phone or email they constantly send out advertisements and "don't forget us" reminders. It's been like 2 years, I've emailed them to stop contacting me. I just got a freaking text from them an hour ago reminding me to use them again. Give me a break....

This is a very attractive office. Always met with polite reception. A very short wait to be roomed. Enough time for a hot cup of coffee on a chilly morning. Friendly and caring medical technician. Informative and answered all questions without rushing me. The doctor also very friendly, considerate and willing to educate. The end result? Very well pleased. I would refer friends to this practice.

I first came to Dr. Stanko because of a skin condition which turned out to be an allergic reaction to bug bites. Dr. Stanko was very proactive about helping me with my situation. Once that condition was under control, she asked if I had ever had a full-body screening since I was around the age where I should have that done. I scheduled an appointment to have the screening. At that screening, Dr. Stanko saw a suspicious mole on my back and took a biopsy. The biopsy came back suspicious so the mole was removed. It turned out that it was melanoma and I needed to have a bigger section removed. I am so grateful that Dr. Stanko encouraged me to get checked and that the melanoma was caught early enough that it was removed. I have returned for my follow-up screenings and did have another questionable spot which was removed. I feel that Dr. Stanko saved my life that day she recommended the full-body screening. I really don’t know when I would have made the decision or the time to have the screening done. Since then, Dr. Stanko has educated me as to the importance of regular eye exams, dental exams and mammograms since I have had melanoma. I feel that she has taken extra steps to ensure that my overall health is the priority.

My wife went to Dr. Stanko for a laser blemish treatment years ago, when her office was near to Bryn Mawr Hospital, she told me that Dr. Stanko is kind a COLD person, like UNINTERESTED, ALWAYS IN A RUSH (but she’s not in a rush when she charging in the credit card $$$$) when she diagnosing you, similar comments that other patients are saying in reviews with 1 star. My wife came back last year on September for pimples in her face, then Dr. Stanko came into the room rushing and like she’s tired or bored, (she needs sparkle!!!, she needs energy!, politeness with the costumer, SHE HAS NO PASSION IN HER WORK!!!, BIG TIME!!!, to make you feel like you want to come back for different treatments!!...my wife always said that from the first time she went there), she saw her for couple of seconds and said “oh, is encapsulated fat”, then brought the tool to freeze the pimples, and less the 2 minutes she left and let my wife with the nurse, and my wife noticed that she did not freeze all of them and made the nurse call her back again, she did it, and prescribed a cream ($500.00 dlls); weeks passed and the pimples stayed the same, she came back on January 2018 for dryness under the eyes, when she scheduled the appointment, she told the secretary that she was going for the dryness and the pimples that never disappeared, when my wife went in to the patient room....surprise! Dr. Stanko is not here!, she put someone else and ignored about my pimples. POOR SERVICE!!.

I'd like to begin by saying that I have been plagued with acne prone problematic skin my whole life. I was under the care of Dr. Sonia Padget for many years and she recently retired so I had the daunting task of finding a new dermatologist. A doctor with her expertise, education, knowledge and professionalism left some mighty big shoes to fill. She was the best as well as her husband who is also a dermatologist Dr. James Padget. I had heard about Bryn Mawr Dermatology through the magazine Main Line Today so I thought I'd give them a try. I was glad I did. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Erin Santa who quickly became my new dermatologist. She was professional, intelligent and caring as well as beautiful. She handled all my skincare concerns with professionalism and put me on a whole new routine to improve my skin and put my skin problems at bay. I would highly recommend Bryn Mawr Dermatology to be the go-to dermatologist of choice. And for all the guys out there that have bad skin or problems such as I do and are afraid to go be seen please just go. You'll be glad you did. There is no reason to have bad skin anymore. Bryn Mawr Dermatology is here! Five stars*****

I went to Bryn Mawr Dermatolgy a while back with a serious issue, I first saw the physian assistant in Collgeville she insisted I need a biopsy on my chin so reluctantly agreed as I knew it would make a permanent mark. The report on my issue did came back, but it was a huge mistke to have the biopsy as this mark is now a permanent white mark on my face exactly what I feared. So I went back to show physican assistant the mark she didn't know what to say or do about it. Kind of acted like owell thats the way it goes. It was a huge mistake to get that done. Then I later whet to Dr Stanko I met her first time and she seemed nice and informative about what to do about my problem so I did what she said my issue improved slightly but still I was having problems so i went back to see her again to ask her some questions about how to improve my issue. The next time she saw me she looked completely disinterested in my condition or answering any questions. Then the ultimate low point came when someone on her staff came to the room where we were having the appt and said she had a call. She said she would take the call and come back, so she left then never came back but sent some young assistant back to answer any further questions. For that I will never go back to her. That is not how you treat a patient. Also as for my condition never did they ask me to schedule a follow up appointent to see how things were working out or to see If I was getting better. Poor service and follow up and a lack of seriousness toward the problem i was having.

Dr. Stanko has been helping me 'age gently' for years. I have gone to her for Botox, fillers and laser procedures. She really listens to my concerns, then makes suggestions on how we can achieve the desired results. I always leave looking like a better, more rested version of myself. I trust her completely. She and her staff are absolutely terrific.

My experience here had been horrible. They changed their policy and require a deposit which I understand. This started after I scheduled my next appt and had a procedure done which I paid in full. I asked for a phone call from the dr. I got a call from an assistant who told me the dr would not be calling me and because I didn't leave a deposit they gave my appointment to anothe patient. I simply had a few questions which I wanted to ask the dr after seeing another dr who explained the treatment I was getting may not be working and then I would have been happy to leave the deposit since again my last visit I paid in full. I have never been treated so disrespectful by a physicians office. They clearly are just out for no,ey and do not care about the patient. I have now left the practice and will find another dermatologist.

If you are having issues with your skin then GO TO THIS PLACE! Everyone at the office is extremely sweet and very knowledgeable. PA Lynn Williams made me feel very at ease and unembarrassed about my situation. Breaking out at 35 is not something I was expecting to have to deal with nor was I equipped to since I had never had issues with my skin until now. Lynn took the step to have blood drawn in order to get to the bottom of my break-out; a step I feel like most places would have looked over. I am very grateful to them. This is about the only doctor's office that I am looking forward to making a follow-up appointment!

I was seen by Lynn Williams and she was absolutely wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, thorough, and kind to me through my whole experience. I had terrible hives for two weeks and she performed a biopsy on my left arm in order to figure out if it was a bug bite or some other allergic reaction causing my hives. I would recommend her to anyone who is experiencing skin problems.

Billing department is enough to be dangerous. Billed the wrong address then sent it to collections without a telephone call over the course of 2 years for a chump-change bill. They acknowledged they had the wrong address, but were unwilling to help to remedy their error. Would suggest you confirm all of your information 3x over with the front desk as a first-time patient. The doctor was great though.

My experiences at Bryn Mawr Dermatology have been great. Their new office space is beautiful. The front desk staff is very professional and efficient. The providers are thorough and take their time to give great medical care. I have also had Laser hair removal here, it was painless and the aesthetician made me feel very comfortable. The medication had to be purchased from them because the insurance company would not approved it. The medication did not work, had a reaction from it, went back within a few days, was prescribed something else which I would have to purchase and they would not take back what I had already purchased or do an even exchanged. I was told I open and use it but how would we know it did not work if it was not open and not that much was used because I returned it within a few days. My problem was not resolved had to go to another dermatologist.

I recently had my first appointment at Bryn Mawr Dermatology's Villanova location. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed with the offices modern decor. They had a list of refreshments that were available, and several comfortable sitting areas. When I walked up to the front desk, I was quickly created by the friendly front desk staff. All patient paperwork was done electronically, which I greatly appreciated. The wait time to be taken back to the exam room was not long at all....5 minutes! When I went back to the exam room, one of the nurses took all my information (she was very friendly and helpful). She informed me that Lynn Williams PA-C would be in to see me shortly. About 5 minutes later, Lynn arrived! I can't say enough good things about Lynn! She was friendly, professional, and listened to all my questions/concerns. She reminded me that ultimately I was the one who made the final decision in regards to my treatment plan. I truly appreciated this, because many doctors make you feel like you don't have a say! The checkout process was quick and easy, and I was even able to get one of prescriptions at the pharmacy they have in the office! Talk about convenient! I highly recommend Bryn Mawr Dermatology for all your skincare needs. Looking forward to working with Lynn and the rest of the Bryn Mawr Dermatology staff in the future!
