Whatever happened in the front office that elicited all those negative ratings seems to have been dealt with. From making an appointment as a new patient to being in the office (both sites), I was treated courteously, professionally and with a friendly manner. I do believe that the past negative issues have been resolved. I have seen two of the gyn's and they both were wonderful and very knowledgeable. I am pleased to have established myself there as a new patient, having moved here after retirement. I can recommend this practice, including the front office staff whole-heartedly!

2 last minute cancellations by this office spread out over 6 weeks, postponing our care by 2 months! not okay.....make the drive to a bigger hospital like christiana for faster care and more providers, its a well oiled machine up there.

Dr. McKeil delivered my second son. Delivery was so calm... I felt so comfortable and pushed him out in 20 minutes. I have seen many doctors at the practice and they all take their time to listen to all of your concerns. The front office staff is very kind and helpful as well. I gave 4 stars because I always have to wait at least 20 minutes to see a doctor. That is my only negative with the practice. Scheduling is sometimes difficult, too.

Always a very poor first impression when you get voice mail!!!! Especially when you are assured the call will be returned by the end of the day. I left a message Monday morning and it's now Wednesday and nothing. Time to move through the list of providers participating with my insurance. Beebe should be embarrassed to be represented this way.

Not sure why there are such negative reviews. The wait time was a bit long but I kind of expected it to be in a place like that. A lot of the reviews were about checking in. I had no issues. You sign in your name on a computer and wait for them to call you and then you fill out all your med information on an ipad (which Ive had to do in other offices). Its pretty easy and fool proof even for people who aren't tech savvy. Staff was friendly, helpful and I love Dr. Arnolds. Pretty nice place in a good location. Definitely recommend. Also to add- they did call to reschedule my appointment but only because my doctor was taking a holiday vacation. I had no problem getting them to answer the phone and rescheduling unlike some others have experienced.

I can't really say anything negative about my experience with any of the doctors. Yes check in isn't difficult in less you are a new patient and in that case I hope you're somewhat tech savvy. They do not return phone calls to,their patients nor doctors. It took me 2 months to have my records sent to another provider. As a pregnant woman I do not feel comfortable being shuffled between 10 different doctors. They also did not inform me of any immunizations and never reviewed any of my lab results with me. They are very disorganized and can not handle the volume of patients they've accepted. I would definitely recommend finding a different Obgyn they aren't wimorth the headache

I’ve spent 7 years trying to find an OB/GYN I felt as comfortable with as I did the one I had for years and during the delivery of my daughter. I finally followed the advice of a few periods and I committed to traveling a few extra minutes and I’m so glad I did. TOTALLY worth it. Dr Arnolds was exactly what I was looking for and was also able to do in office what other physicians told me I’d need to have done at the hospital with anesthesia. She was kind. Positive. And bubbly. The staff was friendly as if they’d known me forever and the office smelled clean and look pretty presentation really does a lot when you want to feel comfortable.

Dr. Arnolds attended my first delivery at Beebe, and I had a great experience with her and all of the nurses on staff. They were professional, competent, and they took my wishes into full consideration when it came time for delivery. I was very happy with my experience. Yes, the office aspect can be a bit frustrating. They see so many patients that scheduling can be backed up, and wait times in the office can be long. However, I felt that it was worth it in the end and was worth the extra driving I did to come here. Even if I have to wait a little bit, the care I have received from the doctors made up for it.

I LOVE all the Doctor's here, they make me feel very comfortable.....but the scheduling area not so much...I am currently over 38 weeks pregnant and once I checked out at the desk on Friday I was told I could NOT be fit in on the schedule for my last 2 appointments....not even on or around my due date which is Feb 19th!! My doctor even told me to have them schedule me for my last 2 visits and the desk couldn't do that at all...Being this far in pregnancy I know it is important to be seen weekly your last few weeks...especially around your due date...so as of right now I have NO appointment set which concerns me just incase I go past my due date..the lady at the desk pretty much left me hanging over the weekend feeling very anxious over it even though I explained my concerns...I think people this far in pregnancy should be a mandatory priority when scheduling patients!!!! Thank God the Doctors care about you enough to call you and to fit you in! :) Dr. Nakuna is Wonderful!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I set an Appointment for 12:45 pm and I even asked the receptionist to repeat back the appointment time. 12:45pm. I get there and they have no record of me then suddenly the receptionist says my appointment was 11:45am. Then said there’s no way she can get me in today. Then fiddled around awkwardly like she was waiting for me to leave. If they can’t even set appointments correctly I can’t imagine the quality of the service. I actually had to come here because of an issue with my last results but I guess I won’t be getting that clarification. No way am I coming back here. 10 out of 10 would find another doctor.

This is so sad. The doctors are great, but service is terrible. I just walked out after waiting 30 mins past my apt time because therw was still 1 person in front of me to be seen by the doctor. I finally got a post partum apt 4 months after I delivered because I called the doctors phone line. They don't answer their phones or return voicemails. I even stopped by to make my apt and I was told to sit and wait. There was 4 people sitting behind the desk chatting. Unless you have all day to spend to sit at the doctors and want to chance them down, would not recommend. Hate leaving a bad review because I love all of their doctors. Time for the doctors to stand up because it's terrible service. It feels like a walk in clinic.

I can't recommend Dr. Caswell highly enough. I understand that the office might be experiencing growing pains and the waits may be long thus people are frustrated, but it's worth the wait. I assume the doctors are likely over worked and too many patients put in too little time and the doctors aren't doing the scheduling so.... It really seems like they need to hire another provider in this office as the waiting room is PACKED and wait times super long. I can only hope the doctors don't get fed up and leave because of being overworked because everyone I've seen in this office as a provider has been truly wonderful. Whoever is in charge - please take care of your docs so they stay!

We had the absolute worst experience choosing to go to this practice. After receiving the first trimester blood screening results we received a call from our dr stating that we were 99.9% certain that our baby had a severe defect and we would most likely miscarry. The chances of us making it to birth were extremely low and if we were able to make it to birth that our baby wouldn’t make it more than a few hours - 1 year of life. We sat for an entire week with this heartbreaking and completely devastating news before we were scheduled into Christiana MFM and genetic counseling, who thankfully was able to tell us that our dr was NOT accurate at all!!! We saw a beautiful healthy baby on our ultra sound and will continue to monitor our baby’s progress until we can be almost 90% sure by 20 week ultra sound that our baby will be healthy. I can not even imagine what other couples may have chosen to do given the news we were given and then forced to wait 7 days before making it in to speak with educated professionals who could properly explain what we were facing with the blood screening results we received. These screenings NEED to be given attention to who is allowed to speak to the patients when receiving a positive (high risk) result. It DOES NOT mean your baby is 99.9% sure to have a chromosomal defect at all. It only means there needs to be further investigation into why your blood results are showing a “possible” risk! Please educate yourselves before trusting this practice!!!!

Staff is nice overall but the office is run unproffessionally. Last minute cancellations. Long waits in the waiting room. My pregnancy is high risk and they dont prioritize patients by the care that is needed and cancel appointments anyway. Plantations ultrasound tech not professional or informative.

Very rude. Called to reschedule my apt today, my son woke up very sick I explained the woman who answered was extremely rude. (As mentioned in many other reviews) wanted to schedule me out 3 1/2 months. Save your time and your sanity with this practice. I’d rather go to Dover and that’s saying ALOT.

Horrible service! Have been waiting in the waiting room for over an hour. No updates whatsoever! It's very difficult to schedule an appointment because no one picks up the phone. I'm not even going to mention Beebe's billing. Just a warning: watch your bills closely. I have to call and dispute almost every single bill with them. Beebe please train your employees better! This is the big turn off.

Took forever in the waiting room, but I knew that was due to the high amount of patients being seen. And for good reason. I had a new patient appointment with Dr. Arnolds today and she was so so sweet, so understanding and overall comforting. She went in depth to address concerns I had, she made sure my exam was comfortable for me and made sure I understood everything she went over. 5 stars for her! Will recommend to anyone.

I am a teacher, so I always try to schedule my appointments in the summer. My appointment scheduled on July 23 was reschedule from Lewes to Millsoboro (no big deal); however, when I got to Millsboro, I was told my appointment had been canceled due to an emergency. I called to reschedule, and they told me they could not give me a new appointment until December! Last year I had a similar situation where Dr. Caswell had moved from one practice to another. Nobody called me to tell me this. When I called to make an appointment (because I had some irregular bleeding that I was very concerned about), I was told that I would now be considered a new patient and had to wait several months to see her. When I did arrive for my appointment, I did not get to see Dr. Caswell at all. The ridiculousness and lack of respect for people's time are too much. I am switching over to another provider.

Worst experience in a Dr.'s office, wish I could give a 0 rating. I had an appt. With Dr. Caswell-Monack 12/7 that was re-scheduled to 2/19 due to Dr. Monack joining Beebe. I filled out multiple info. papers that were mailed to me to bring with me to app. Kristy at the front desk checked me in and rudely told me that I was now scheduled to see the mid-wife. And, the paperwork I filled out was for nothing. I had to do it all again on an iPad. I had arrived early for my 11:00 appt. At 11:45, I asked Kristy if the mid-wife was running late. I did not mention that 9 women who came in after me were called back. I know there are other doctors/ultrasound appts., but 45 minutes late and 9 women who came after me? Kristy said, I think you are next, 15 more minutes. After 25 more minutes a woman was called back before me that had missed her appt. for her annual, and Kristy told her it was her lucky day, there was time to get her in. Needless to say, I left. Kristy was so rude to me, I have to think it was done on purpose or the office is, in fact, that inept. It is true that you never get a phone call back.

Horrible service !!! Had to wait for 2 hours to see the doctor. Rescheduled my appoitment on the spot, due the doctor had to leave for emergency. They have 4 doctors and Midwife, none of them could replace one of them. Then I had to go back home. Luckily I'm only 30 minutes away, what hsppen if I stay far far away from that office ? Before that, they rescheduled my appointment, without notice. Is that the way you treat your patient ? I used to go to Dr. Leo Esbach. Unfortunately, he doesn't do OB care anymore. He is THE BEST, his staffs are professional and very friendly. If he still on service, I WILL NEVER switch to Beebe Women Healthcare. Hardly suggest my family and friends not to use Beebe Women Healthcare !!! REALLY DISSAPOINTED !!!

I have seen Dr. Arnolds since she was at Del Med. She and the staff at Beebe Plantations go out of their way to help you. I have had several challenging issues to deal with and Dr. Arnolds and the staff have also been gracious and prompt in helping me address whatever came up. I am not an OB patient, so I do not have experience with that part of the practice, but I have received excellent GYN services here. I have never had to wait in the waiting room more than 15 minutes for an appointment.

Doctors are knowledgeable and kind. Office efficiency needs work. Often times you won’t get a call back if you leave a message, some days when you call you’ll get the after hours answering all day (even if they’re open), they ‘loose paperwork’ and in general are very frustrating to deal with even for small and seemingly simple things

The doctors are friendly but friendly does not make up for the rest of the downfalls at plantations. There is complete disorganization and appointment times are never on time. What to expect from this office: you will wait 30 minutes to over 2hours beyond your scheduled time. If you are high risk this is extra frustrating because you will receive very thorough examinations by a doctor outside of this office and you then will come here to wait 2hours for somemooone to check your urine, weight, bloodpressure, and fetal heartrate (despite having a full work up just days before). These 2 things combined reflect a lack of good patient care and service. Unfortunately, I believe this is a problem everywhere in Sussex County Delaware. I have heard terrible stories from other offices and sadly, this is the norm in the area. Unfortunately, we need healthcare services and as long as they are making money you are just another cattle to be hearded. Postpartum update...I only breastfeed my baby and we haven't started bottles...these wait times are not mom and baby breastfeeding friendly.

The medical staff is really good. The office/ front staff not so good. First time I came, I noticed how a woman was talked to because she didn't know how to sign in- plain rude... Later, they got my appointments mixed up. They called me to reschedule because they scheduled another type of appointment and I was not going to be seen. Tried to reschedule again and they acted annoyed and ready to get rid of me instead of offering solutions, told me that I was the one who cancelled and so I was the one that caused the inconvenience (they called me to cancel or reschedule because their scheduling wasn't correct). When I tried to schedule again (prenatal appointment) couldn't fit me in for another month. Not professional or welcoming at all. Switching doctors even though it means longer commutes.

The founder of Bayside Health, Vincent Killeen, worked very hard at developing a quality practice where women were treated work utmost respect, and listened to, and had questions answered honestly. At 67 years old, I can say Dr Killeen was the best doctor I ever had. Sadly, with his passing and the buyout of the practice by Beebe Medical Group, in less than a year things have gone downhill drastically. The doctor I was as assigned to was a ccol fish who handled things assembly line style, leaving no room for questions. Yesterday, I received an email confirmation of my next appointment, which they had changed with no notice. What happened to the police call saying "Ms. ... The doctor isn't going to be in the office the day of your appt. We have openings on this day and this, which would be more convenient for you?" After almost 20 years, I am beginning to reconsider whether I will stay with this practice.

My GPS sent me to Savannah Rd instead of Plantation Rd. I called to inform I was lost but on my way. I couldn't reach a live person forced to leave message. I arrived 15 min late to be greated with ... " Sign in at the computer" then I get text to come to the front desk?? When I explained what happened I was told by the rep and by Manager I had to reschedule. I waited for this appointment 3 months. I verbalized how I felt and walked out. If this is how you are treating from minute 1, hate to see what happens inside . This is not for me. Wish there was a 0 star.

Out of 5 apts they rescheduled 4 of them with less than 48 hours notice, once postponing a two week apt to 5 weeks. I have waited over two hours to see a doctor, have never seen the same doctor twice, had to remind them to schedule my c-section, and am currently waiting 45+ mins for a routine apt in which it will take 3 min for the midwife to listen to the baby's heart. Thank god this is not my first child and I already know the ropes.

I don't usually write reviews but I just had to write one for this practice. A friend recommended the practice to me. I went today with no expectations and I was beyond impressed. I saw Dr. Adeline Nukuna. She was an absolute delight! She was very personable and made me feel so comfortable. The receptionists and nurse were amazing as well. I am so pleased with this practice and look forward to returning. I am sad to see the low star rating on google but I guess people with a bad experience are more eager to write reviews than happy customers, so that is why I made myself write this.

As a new patient I had no problem scheduling an appointment. Cindy helped me when I had to call before my appointment because I needed my prescription filled before my next appointment. She even called me the next day to confirm the script had been called in for me. Everyone was super nice and friendly. The nurse was great and I can't say enough about the welcome I received from Dr. Arnolds. She is awesome and is surrounded by an excellent team as well.

If you will ever become a patient in this place, maybe you will have a different experience. But I say everything starts from every begging. Schedule first visit in late October, early November the closest one was in beginning of February. Got a message about 20 days later that due to unforeseen conflict has to call back to reschedule, tried to reschedule but was told that nothing closer than end February. Was offered a different doctor, but when I asked whether the other doctor would also take First Health Network as insurance, had the staff unable to find such insurance. How can it be? After that staff simply hang over the phone. Tried to call 2 more times, was not able to finish before got hang up on me. If this is how you treat patients, good luck to have any. Just want to let everyone know, get ready to be treated like dirt.

Horrible wait time for simple Pap test. Then results sent in mail 4 week later, never got thru to ask questions on a "Positive result" on a lab work result.

Had an appointment at old location at Bayside health and never had any issues there. My appointment coincided with when they were moving locations. They told me to call in a couple of weeks. Tried calling for 2 months and kept being put back in the loop of press this number and being on hold and never got to speak with anyone or got disconnected. Finally got through and was scheduled 9 months out. Was cancelled again and had an appointment scheduled for next week. They called to cancel my appointment again and I told them I have already been rescheduled 3 times and haven't been for my yearly exam in over 2 years with the rescheduling. They said ok can you come this week instead. I had to ask my manager to take off from work that day because I would never be able to make it in time for my shift. Unfortunately it was raining and even though I left early, it took me an hour and 15 minutes to get to the office, which is usually a 35 minute drive. I arrived a couple minutes past their 15-minute window and said they couldn't see me and would have to reschedule me again. You usually have to wait forever anyway, and I was inconvenienced by having to re-arrange my work schedule to allow for this rescheduled appointment. They rescheduled me again for next month. I find it ridiculous that it takes almost 3 years to get a yearly exam and I am not a new patient. Now on my 4th reschedule. I always scheduled my appointment before leaving the office for the following year, but I haven't even made it to the new office because they keep saying they have to reschedule me because the doctor will not be in the office...this is beyond ridiculous!

I made a new patient appointment 4 months ago for a highly recommended provider at this location. My appointment was to be on 10/30. One week before my appointment I receive an email stating that my appointment was cancelled. The email stated that I can reschedule through the patient portal or the office would call me to reschedule. There was no option to reschedule through the portal and I waited 2 days for a phone call from the office. None came. I phoned the office and was told that the provider was scheduled to be in the hospital that day and my appointment was cancelled. I was told that I could reschedule with my preferred provide but the earliest date she had was February. I was given the option to schedule with a new provider for the middle of November. I am not 100% sure but it certainly seems like a ploy to get new patients to see the new doctor. Unacceptable.

The staff and nurses/doctors are really nice they couldn't be any nicer. However You wait for 1 to 2 hours the doctor comes in once ur finally in a room and blows in and out barely enough time for me to even remember to ask any questions I had. They take for ever to give test results or refills, i would call at least a week before your medicine is out because they will leave you hanging if your completely out , I had to call back 2x to get a refill I was sick all week with out it.

Dr.mckeil is by far the best doctor I have ever had!!!! She’s amazing and she did so great on my c section. She made sure I was more than comfortable. She always listened to me in our appointments and never made me feel rushed.

I usually don’t give bad reviews but my experience here has been a nightmare! I’m used to bayside unfortunately the dr that owned the practice passed away so I decided to give this office a try they are not organized I was scheduled for a ultrasound I got to the campus and no order was sent I waited 2 hours to finally get in touch with someone for them to send it over I feel as though they scheduled too many people a day I can’t speak on the Dr’s there but the ones who run the front area really need to do better !

Never again will I return to this doctors office or recommend it to anyone I know. It is unfortunate because both dr.Arnolds and dr.Mckiel are great but this office is the absolute worst. It is unprofessional and disorganized to the extreme. For starters no one answers the phone in this office and if you request to speak to a doctor you will be waiting for at least 2 days for a call back. On multiple occasions I have had my appointments cancelled on me the morning of, and in one case 10 minutes before the actual appointment when I was already in the parking lot of the doctors office. There is a guaranteed wait time of over and hour every time and the check in/check out process is an unorganized nightmare. I dread going to the doctor and cannot wait to be done with this office for good. They have ruined my experience and I wish I wasn’t so far along otherwise I would switch offices in a heartbeat.

What a phenomenal experience, from start to finish. Being that this was my first pregnancy - each and every doctor, receptionist, ultrasound tech and nurse I saw over the last 9 months was AMAZING!!!! From the easy check-ins at the front desk, to the informational literature they provide you, to the attention in the room at each appt and to the call back with results of tests - every experience was positive, thorough, knowledgeable and professional. I’m not going to rate my A+ hospital birth because they are separate nurses, but that too, was incredibly enjoyable. I am happy to recommend the lady doctors who bust their butts every day in this office - Angela Caswell, Holly McKiel & Katrin Arnolds. KEEP KICKING BUTT GIRLS

The check in process was quick and efficient. Not sure why there's such negativity. The wait time getting to see the doc was quite long, however both the nurse and the doctor appolized for the delay because of patient needed extra time. The staff was friendly and polite both at check in and check out.

Everyone at Beebe's Women's Healthcare, Plantations, was phenomenal!! I was immediately made comfortable by the nurses and doctors. Dr. Arnolds had an in-depth discussion with me about my health, my healthcare, and preventative care. I am thoroughly impressed and highly recommend this practice.

My first experience of trying to schedule an appointment was a nightmare. My original appointment was in September, and after multiple cancellations from them I got seen in March. Scheduled my annual for this March. Got a call a couple weeks ago and scheduled for the next day. Well, got a call last night that it was cancelled. Called this morning to reschedule and was given one in June. I understand that women who are pregnant are important, but I am also important. I come once a year and get cancelled non stop and that is not right. I didn’t fully understand when bayside merged with beebe what it meant and felt I had to come to this office. I am back with my old doctor because This office is a poor choice for women! I shouldn’t feel exhausted in just making an appointment. Oh! I also needed a new prescription of birth control that I had to call them to fix three different times because they kept messing up what I have been on...go anywhere else, unless your pregnant and apparently will be treated the way everyone should be.
