However the front desk service employees and nurses are not very welcoming and seem to not be taking there job as seriously as they should be, considering they are in a line of work to help people in pain and distress. I would mention, that I did try coming in on Sunday after booking an appointment online only to find the office closed. Visited this practice for a flu shot. Seemed everyone else was there trying to get this shot. I had to wait almost an hour, but this was only due to the number of patients ahead of me. The staff was professional and were extremely sensitive and appreciative of the time I’d had to wait. Best part, shot didn’t hurt!

The medical profession took interest in my issue, she explained that there were foods that I should avoid, that would keep me from having the same issue again. We use Westport Urgent Care many times when my husband needed stitches in his scull; my friend’s nanny had low fever for days(Lyme disease); my son has chalazion in his eyelid etc. It is a great alternative if your regular doctor is not available or if you do not want to pay a fortune at ER. Waiting is never long; assistants are nice and efficient; 3 or 4 doctors we saw so far are all very experienced and wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

I visited the Westport Urgent Care facility this morning ..... since I had visited them before all I needed was a very brief 'checkin' and was called to see the nurse and MD within (at most) 10 minutes. The MD diagnosed my ear infection and prescribed treatment and I was on my way. How convenient! I definitely would recommend them.

My experience at this particular location started off rocky but over the last year the staff have been very helpful and I’m usually seen within 10 minutes of signing in. My visit today was so smooth. The newest reviews here are in stark contrast to recent Yelp reviews, which I wish I had read. Let's see, went for a persistent, hacking cough and fear of pneumonia, but couldn't get an X-Ray since their tech was off duty. I was prescribed good antibiotics but only two of four total meds were called in (to the wrong pharmacy to boot), and no cough medication. I went back two days later, after unhelpful calls and many answering machines, and noted the Tussin DM I was taking wasn't cutting it. After failing to convince me to sign up for a new $75 appointment or that Medrol is a cough medicine, the doc relented and promised to call in a script. Upon opening the CVS bag, I found the very same Tussin DM that I had just complained wasn't working (see pic, you can't make this stuff up)! The same stuff they sell without a prescription! Upon trying to call the doc back, the desk told me they weren't going to do a thing and to have a "blessed day." I think the most blessed thing I can do is give the community some advice to avoid this farcical facility like the plague.

I rarely use any urgent care facility fortunately. When I needed care recently, my insurance plan directed me the Westport Urgent Care. I highly recommend this facility. The staff are welcoming and office is clean and neat. My wait was short..5 mins? The nurse who took my details was very pleasant and capable also. But the reason this was the right place to go was the physician who attended me. She was smart, comprehensive responsive and conservative in her treatment. I would go there again if need be, in a heart beat.

This place is hit or miss. You either get seen quickly or you have to wait over 2 hours sometimes. The place has tons of exam rooms and one doctor on call. Not sure why it takes so long when there are hardly any people in the waiting room. The doctors are good except for one female one who looks bored and annoyed she has to be there and consults a pocket manual to diagnose you and prescribe medication. It’s good for exactly what it’s described as - urgent care. Don’t expect a lot.

I appreciated that they let me know this before I wasted my time waiting, but I did deduct one star for not being properly stocked for what is a commonly needed urgent care test for sore throats. Would go back. But would call and check they were fully stocked first.

1. Called to see if I could make an appointment and the person on the phone said "if you want"... Then they told me to book online 2. I booked online but when I got in at the time of my appointment my booking was lost (should there have been a confirm?) 3. I waited in the waiting room for 20 mins before being called back into an exam room (fine), but then I sat alone in the exam room for 10 mins before a nurse came in to get my vitals, and another 20 after she left before the doctor came in 4. Doctor when she came in was great! Thoughtful, great bedside manner, worked very quickly - was with her for all of 5 minutes.

Terrible. Do not listen to customers, their needs or why they are utilizing their services. First day I arrived their EHR was down and could not even see patients. Then second day I arrive I have printed materials regarding the examination that I need done and the front staff refused to listen to their patients needs, and acted as if I was not welcomed.
