Finding a good pediatrician can be hard, and finding an excellent one can be even harder. My husband, daughter, & I recently relocated to South Windsor, CT from Boston, MA. Nothing is familiar to me here, and looking for a doctor for my daughter was just one of the many new places our family would have to establish ourselves at. Thankfully, our first choice, Dr. Manuel Orta’s office, has proved to be an excellent choice. Being in the healthcare field myself, which can often be a thankless job, I think it is important to recognize outstanding professionals. Dr. Orta is patient, kind, and very intelligent. Not only is he excellent with our little one, but he takes the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions & concerns. We have always used Massachusetts General Hospital, and being one of the #1 in the country, it was no surprise we were never disappointed with care from there. I truly did not believe anywhere would match up, but I am so thrilled with the services we have received from Dr. Orta’s office. We recommend him to any & all!

My baby was born prematurely and spent close to 3 months in the NICU when leaving we were referred to South Windsor Pediatrics. At first we had our doubts because Dr. Freedman we believe was not giving our little angle the attention she needed being a premi. She would come in and always be in a rush, her advice would be vague and confusing however, we still continued to give her a try. In December she retired and Dr. Orta took over. I absolutely love this man. My husband and me could not ask for anything better. He is precise, caring and most of all spends time with us on our visits to hear our concerns and work with us, with our life style to help us provide the best care for our daughter. He calls to follow up when he gives us "home work" to do. The supporting staff( front desk and nurses) are just absolutely amazing. My little angel has been going here for a little over 3 months now and we love this place.

At the time of this review our little one is now 2.5 weeks old. We chose this Pediatric office after meeting just once with Dr. Orta. We've brought her a couple times already and our experience has been nothing but great! Dr. Orta is very kind, intelligent and willing to help answer any questions we have. So happy we found him and glad she'll grow up going here! Also, the office in general is just a great place. All the nurses and people that work there are very kind and helpful! Highly recommend this Pediatric office for your children.
