We switched over to Riverside Pediatrics a bit over a year ago and couldn’t be happier. The doctors, nurses and front desk staff are all incredible. The phone is always answered (which shockingly wasn’t happening at our prior doctors office) and we have never had an issue getting an appointment quickly. They have morning walk in hours and urgent care on evenings, weekends and holidays - it is so nice to be able to bring my kids somewhere they know instead of a different urgent care facility when they aren’t feeling well. We are always seen promptly and they even carry basic prescriptions in the office so you don’t have to go to the pharmacy for amoxicillin (or something similar) with your sick kid(s) in tow. We use and love Dr. Rosenberg primarily, but have had appointments with Dr. Alex and Dr. Beckman as well... they are all great. We live in Darien and the drive down to Riverside is easy and well worth it! The office is clean, bright and updated- we couldn’t be happier.

Pros: New clean office set-up. Sinks in the hallway outside of the screening rooms. Fast service, was there Friday night after hours and was seen and left in about 1hr. Convenient location off of Putnam and 95 – no other pediatric practice in this area seems to have after hours available. Cons: You are in full right to push back/decline a service even if the doctor advises that they need to do something - don’t feel pressured. I was not informed that a procedure that the doctor pushed for was optional or was going to be painful for my child. Make sure you ask questions and understand the service before they begin. Their office manager is incredibly rude/confrontational. She flat out called me a bad mother when I called to discuss a bill with an unexpected fee. She then advised that she would happily push my bill to collections to ruin my credit (we weren’t late on the payment)!!! They have tried to double-bill me on several occasions for annual service fees when I was with this practice full-time in 2011-2014. The last incident was when they stopped taking insurance and we had to transfer to an alternative practice. I had to come in 3 weeks in a row and fill out multiple request forms because they misplaced them and tried to bill me the annual service fee 2x for each of my children. They wouldn’t release the records until they could validate they already collected fees. This was incredibly frustrating as we were going through major medical screenings for my newborn with birth defects.

Riverside Pediatrics and Dr. Beckman are amazing. The office is open 7 days a week and also has early and evening hours for walk ins and there is always someone who promptly answers the phone and returns my frantic calls and emails — I truly feel that help is always present. All of the staff is highly competent and everyone has a wonderful attitude, bedside manner and has treated my children in a very personalized manner. Dr Beckman has always been very thorough and spot on with diagnosing any issues with my children. In addition Dr Beckman keeps up with all of the latest research and ideas relating to children's health and has a vast knowledge about the traditional and functional aspects of medicine and health. Some of my local friends use “concierge” style of doctors for their children, and I feel like I get the same personalized level of care and service through Riverside Pediatrics. I would highly recommend them to anyone because of its efficiency, expertise and the super convenient hours and location next to McDonalds on exit 5 can’t be beat.

Riverside Pediatrics is phenomenal! People travel from all over to go here because the doctors are outstanding! Ignore the one star reviews complaining about the office staff - it's a busy doctor's office. Drs. Beckman & Mones made my list of great doctors - and I'm picky! Five stars out of five.

Love the practice. We are moving about 4 towns away and will still be here. The doctors are patient and attentive. They listen to and address concerns accordingly and will go into as much detail as you need to be comfortable about the treatment plan. I've found the staff to be wonderful. They remember my daughter as soon as she walks in, remembers when she was there last and what happened without ever looking at a chart or file. We've been to the ER a few times with our daughter and they never fail to call the next morning to follow up and schedule a visit to check up - a big relief when you have to take care of a sick baby and don't remember to call for follow up appointments! Walk in hours are great and have never had trouble with the other doctors that may there or waiting a long time.

Dr. Anderson is absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend her, she is the best pediatrician I could ever have asked for for my son. I went through about 3 before I found her and I’m so glad we didn’t settle. She has a real passion for children, is down to earth, a great mom and exceptional at her job. She doesn’t judge, she listens to problems and solves them every time. I wish every pediatrician was as amazing as she is!

I have three children--two boys and a girl--and have been bringing them to see Dr. Beckman and Dr. Mones for nearly every stage of their lives (two are now young teens). We have been there for allergy emergencies, immediate care for deep cuts, ear piercing, literally everything. The staff is caring and compassionate and they always make you feel like a priority. Dana, one of the nurses, is a DOLL. If she can't find a prescription, she will call around to pharmacies to make sure you get what you need and follows up with a phone call. We love her. We have never been ill-informed about a procedure--on the contrary, they are conservative when necessary and take the time to explain more urgent issues. When I have called with any billing issues, they always ask to call me back, and do, with a researched response. The office is bright and clean and cheery and we'll be patients there until the kids age out of the practice. Also: They DO take insurance! Those other posts are old.

I brought my son in to see Dr. Beckman for the first time since moving to the country a couple months ago. I had a lot of questions and concerns for the Dr. I have to say that Dr. Beckman was extremely thorough and helpful with answering all my questions. She also spent a lot of time with us. I think she is an amazing Dr. Besides that, the nurses and staff were very friendly and the office is very nice. Riverside Pediatrics it hands down the best Pediatrics office around.

The doctors are ok, however their business practices are horrendous. They don't take any insurance, and will not release medical record until you pay the outstanding balance out-of-pocket... It seems they care more about how to get paid than the welfare of the patient. We are leaving.

I recently started bringing my children to Riverside Pediatrics and I could not recommend a better pediatrics office. Not only are their Dr's, Nurses and front desk reception amazing, they are also very helpful and resourceful. If you call for questions the Nurses and/or Dr's are always readily available to address your concerns, especially for first time moms. They also offer Telemedicine consult appts right from the convenience of your own home or if you are on vacation. I also like that they have medications to dispense right in the office and as a mom of two , this saves me a trip to the pharmacy . Riverside Pediatrics also sells a high end skin care line for babies, children and adults for the parents who are concerned with all the added harsh chemicals found in most skin care lines. They also sell a great vitamin line for infants, children and adults. Lastly, their officer space is beautiful, and they have after hour appointments on weekdays, weekends and Holidays and are able to see parents of patients if they are sick. Always a doctor on call. I give Riverside Pediatrics 5 stars!

Superb. Dr Alex was patient, thorough, and professional. I did not feel rushed at all. Their support staff was very friendly and courteous. I was genuinely impressed enough to write this review which is, I believe, the first review I've ever written in relation to a medical clinic.

This practice is simply fantastic. My son is 6 months old, and we've been very impressed. Their hours are convenient, and they are open both SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS. They will even treat the parents for simple things like strep throat, common cold, or poison ivy. Could not recommend more highly.

I do not understand how people can have such different experiences....I've been bringing my daughter here for at least 8 years. We visit several times nearly every year and each time every doctor has been kind, attentive, and patient, giving us their undivided attention for as long as we want. I'd been to other practices in Greenwich where we waited forever and then waited again in the patient room and then were visited by the doctor for about 30 seconds. Riverside is far superior to other practices in this area. I too wish they would take insurance, but they do submit it for you and you get reimbursed whatever portion your insurance will cover. The letter that was sent out at the time the change was made was very clear and I understand why they needed to make that change. Blame the insurance companies for that one, not the doctors!

I absolutely love everything about Riverside Pediatrics. The doctors are warm, helpful and take the time to answer questions and hear all concerns. They have always been thorough and make sure that all my children’s (and my) needs have been met. I’ve seen all doctors in the practice and have always had a great experience. The nursing staff and front desk receptionist are always patient, kind and accommodating. Last minute appointments are never a problem between walk in hours and even same day appointments if needed. I travel down from Norwalk to see them because I love them so much. I cannot give them any higher recommendation.

Dr. Rosenberg and the entire staff are amazing! My daughter has received top notch care whether it’s been a well visit or emergency. The nurses and girls at the front desk are extremely helpful with scheduling and annoying last minute paperwork for daycares! The walk in hours are super convenient and we couldn’t be happier at Riverside Pediatrics!

We see Dr. Rosenberg and love her! As a new mom I appreciate her taking the time to answer all of my questions, stupid or not. She doesn’t rush through appointments. The the front of office receptionist and nurses are friendly and my son loves going there. I would highly recommend them!
