The doctor is okay as far as his abilities are concerned though he can be as cold and disconnected from the patient as his staff and would rather cover for his staff and their mess ups than help to care for and protect the patient. There also appear to be a lot of unhappy and miserable employees there and constant turnaround of staff. Way too many political issues going on and an office manager that needs to go. She loves the term ‘dropped the ball’ regarding her staffs transgressions but she’s the first one who does just that, drops the ball. No one there ever seems happy or smiles. The majority of the office staff including the office manager are incompetent and/or just rude and dismissive of patient needs. You are not allowed to ask for assistance or information. If you do ask for help you are told that you can’t and must wait for the weeks long process instead because otherwise they will be inconvenienced. I was actually told just that. In other words tough if you need them to assist you. Plus everything costs. There’s a fee even when you need a paperwork done or a correction for something they did. The office staff are difficult for the most part and have caused major and serious issues with my insurance co because of their unconcerned and disorganized approach to the patient. There are a few people there I respect though they are very few. Entitled is a good way to describe these people. The office staff are good at confirming appointments however not as good st scheduling them unless it’s at checkout. They keep you waiting for long periods on the phone when you call to make appointments. Also I don’t think the doctor is aware that they tell you when to come in regardless of what he wrote in the file. He usually seems bothered when I show up for the next scheduled appointment (like I want to be there). Though I never really liked it there I have begun to hate this place. I leave there feeling miserable every time I go in or have to talk to someone there. I do not recommend this office to anyone. I would rather wait longer for my appointment if it’s in a place who respects and appreciates the patient. Sadly I’m already shopping around looking for a different surgeon with a better and more caring staff. I am sure that it’ll be easy to find one.

Dr. Daher ranks right up there with the foremost orthopaedic surgeons in the country. The entire facility, from start to finish, put me at great ease and did phenomenal work. Had hip replacement Dr.Gupta, 2017. Trying to get appointment 2019 is problematic. Office personnel ask updated insurance cards, send via fax, confirm received. Send email(s) on their web site. Office personnel later calls and ask for same information again. I don’t think they read what you send them, and they do speak English. Got cellulitis when Dr did my hip surgery, maybe this is omen not to return. The Dr, fine, office staff will give you a heart attack, so pass..

Dr Fish performed surgery for rotator cuff and bicep tear. I had several office visits and completed 3 months of physical therapy. My experience with everyone involve was excellent. I interacted with two nurses who both were quite knowledgeable and pleasant, taking my measurements and preparing me. Doctor Paz was very attentive and empathetic with my pain and condition. I was met by Natalie who was very friendly, warm, and welcoming. She went over my history and told me I would need an X-ray. The tech was again very friendly and all was handled in a very timely fashion. I then met with Dr. Nikchi (sp) who listened to my problem, he did some strength tests, read my xrays, and we made a plan to proceed with scheduling an MRI. I found him to be interested, confident, and understanding. The check out process was quick and the whole visit lasted less than one-half hour. The very next day I received a phone call from the office. They had scheduled my MRI and gave me a return appointment to see the doctor after my MRI. So far, it has been a wonderful experience.

I had Dr. Nikci fix my broken ankle. From what was explained at my first appointment, it was one of the worst kinds as both bones broke in multiple places. From the first day I met Dr. Nikci, he was very professional, straightforward. He takes the time to listen to my questions and concerns. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment to be seated and check in to the room. Once I had the X-ray's done and the nurse left. Dr. Nikci was back in the room in under 3-5 minutes. He told me everything I needed to know. What to expect and in an extremely professional manner. My recovery progressed quicker than expected. I am very impressed as to how fast, thorough and detailed Dr. Nikci has been. I hope this never happens again but I would never think twice about seeing him if I have to in the future. I would highly recommend Dr. Nikci for any type of injury.

Dr. Gupta replaced my hip three years ago. My internist highly recommended him and said that all the medical people she knew in town would go to him if they needed a new hip. To my annoyance he said he didn’t let his patients go to rehab and that I could handle three flights of stairs in my condo just fine after two days in the hospital. He was right. I went to see him yesterday because of severe pain in my lower right back to hip area, and after x-rays he said my hip was fine but my spine has significant arthritis and he prescribed physical therapy. I was glad for that prescription, but unfortunately can’t get an apt for p.t. for four weeks. I recommend Dr. Gupta. His P.A.s are exceptionally competent as well.

The receptionist, the nurses and the x-ray tech were fantastic, but the doctor made me feel like i wasted his time. I felt sad when I left because I felt he did not want to help me. I get my issue might have nothing to do with my cartilage or bone, but he could have helped me rule out what the issues can be. I am young and i have difficulty with my back, knees, feet. I am trying to rule out possibilities with all my doctors but the doctor at orthopedic specialists of CT made me feel like I am making up my problems. I am kinda scared to go back to him for any other issues.
