I came in to see Kim Boldon in a panic. I had developed an extremely infected ingrown hair on my chin line that felt like a golf ball. Kim moved her schedule around to accommodate me, and get me in before the big day. After a quick office visit, a shot, and a day, my skin had cleared up. Definitely recommend Kim and the staff at Middlesex Derm for their expertise and flexibility.

I went to this Doctor because he was the ONLY Dermatologist who had an opening in the next year. I guess I know why. I have been in the medical field for over 17 years and all I can say is wow! My first visit was terrible and he didn't even listen to a word I said. He talked to me like I was inferior to him and was wasting his time, after he was 40 minutes late to my appointment. I really needed advice and he rushed me through the visit and didn't even address my concerns. He is creepy and rude and I will wait for a year to see a professional before going back to him.

I have been getting facials for a few years now. The last time I went, my esthetician noticed that a mole on my face was changing and she advised me to go to Middlesex Dermatology to get a check up. I saw Kimberly Bolden and she was amazing. I was very nervous to go to the Doctor for my mole, but Kim put all of my fears at ease. I came back the following week to get my mole removed and the process was quick and painless. During the procedure, Kim thoroughly explained what she was doing step by step. The whole team is highly educated and made me feel very important. I highly recommend Middlesex Dermatology. My face already has healed and I barley have any scaring. Also, the building that the office is in is super cute. You feel right at home!

Dr. Thomas was so rude to me!!!! The receptionist is very nice but him forget it!!! Wouldn't even call him a Dr. He was 45 to 50 minutes late to the appointment. I was walking out of the room and he was very rude and condescending. Will go see another dermatologist. I guess he doesn't care either that I took time off of my busy job for nothing. Time that is meant for my family and me!

2 month wait for a apt just for them to confirm I have psoriasis that I’ve had for 10 years just so I can start light therapy. They have a sign on the road saying “accepting new patients” yeah might be 2-3 months down the road. Very very rude receptionist as well. Do not go here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a terrible experience with Eric Thomas, I would not even call him a doctor. I went there because it was close to my work, to have two moles removed. He spoke to me like he was above me (it seemed like to show off), yet I understood what he said based on medical classes I have taken. He kept telling me they could do this a few different ways and selected the way that would earn the practice the most money. When I asked about the second way he said I would be in too much pain; I went for that second option because I have a pretty high tolerance for pain (it ended up not being painful what so ever). I even asked a receptionist to sit in the room because I felt so uncomfortable with Eric. After the moles were removed they put bandaids on them and sent me on my way. Never told me how to clean them or if I should keep them covered. One of them did not heal properly. I tried calling the office and the two older receptionists were extremely rude to me. I then get a bill a few weeks later for a pathologist, which I had absolutely no idea he would be sending them out to be tested. Never once did he mention it and my bill was over $600.00. It was the worst treatment I have ever had, I was misinformed and extremely uncomfortable the entire time. I would never recommend Eric to anyone for any reason. The way this was handled was completely unprofessional.

I saw Kim at Middlesex Dermatology for a spot I noticed on my chest and I couldn't be more thankful that I did so. Not only was she thorough with her examination of me but she took care of the mark and was able to successfully diagnose what it was. She stayed in touch for weeks following my appointment to make sure I was healing OK which shows her genuine concern for her patients. Please do not hesitate to make an appointment with her- you won't regret it!

So here's the thing-skin is a very REAL thing. Stay with me on this. A dermatologist is so multi-faceted because not only do they deal with very serious, very real life and death situations, they are also dealing with the cosmetic aspects. A dermatologist is responsible for listening, hearing, and understanding not only what is causing something, but the actual effect it is having on the person. We're talking emotional responses, things directly linked to self-esteem. It's well-being and it's self-care. You guys. Kim gets it. This office doesn't feel like a doctor's office. It feels like a spa. This does incredible things for the psyche. Walking in is like a breath of fresh air-like no matter, it is going to be ok. The staff is lovely and welcoming and comforting and INTERESTED. And then Kim comes in. And she lets you know she is here for you, and she has the knowledge and the skill and everything you could ask for in a Doc, but then she delivers it in a way that is so relatable and so comforting and so wonderful. Skin is REAL. How you feel about yourself is REAL. I just wish I could find a GP like her. Best you're going to find.

After reading some of the reviews here I was very apprehensive about my first appointment with Dr Thomas, I almost considered cancelling but figured I needed to make my own determination. I was pleasantly surprised. He was animated and friendly. He is talkative but only because he is so knowledgeable. He discussed all my options, addressed my questions and allowed me to make my own decisions. He treated me on the spot and suggested a follow up but said to keep it if I felt is was necessary. There was no pressure. I am really glad I kept the appointment. The office is in an old painted Victorian brick building that may be tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area. While the address is South Main St the entrance is on Church St.

Absolutely hands down, the best experience in a doctors office we have ever had! Kimberly was so caring, and professional. After multiple visits with my daughters pediatrician, we decided to try taking my 1 year old to see a dermatologist. Multiple friends suggested middlesex dermatology to me. ONE day after I called, we had an appointment. Kimberly was so caring and phenomenal with my one year old. The office was clean, and so calming. The staff made us feel so welcomed and like we were the only patients there. There is no other dermatology group my family and I will ever use! Kimberly has personally checked on my daughter multiple times since our visit—-there are not enough stars to describe how much I love her!!

Kim is the absolute best in the industry and can cater to any skin care issue under the sun!!! Kim is super professional yet down to earth and makes you feel so comfortable. I’ve seen many dermatologists and it seems like I’ve tried every skin clearing medication there could be, and with very stubborn and problematic skin nothing has worked long term. Kim got me started on her skin care regime over a year now and my skin has never looked better!! Not only is it clear and breakout free but it is less oily and better yet wrinkle free! I also love the atmosphere, vibe and whole staff at Middlesex Dermatology!! At other offices I’ve waited over 2 hours and felt so rushed when I was finally seen. One of the most influential factors I consider when choosing a doctor is the support staff. Having excellent, understanding, compassionate, and most importantly, competent staff to greet and interact with your patients is vital in any medical practice, and Dr. Thomas has clearly considered that in his practice. Not only is Dr. Thomas approachable, kind, and easy to interact with, his staff is as well. I have been to several dermatologists, and he truly is my favorite. He is a good person, an excellent doctor, and someone I would trust myself as well as my family with. I have a very serious history of familial skin cancer, and he always takes care of me in such a manner that I have no worries about my skin health. I am happy to give not just him, but his wonderful front desk staff the highest recommendation.

Recently met with Dr. Eric Thomas and found his practice to be thorough. He's old school, but I found that comforting, especially when you don't know what might be wrong with you. He's detailed and a professional with years of experience. By just looking at my rashes he made commentary that put me at ease. We did further testing to confirm his hypothesis and I was re-assured and satisfied. He called me when he said he would call me. While the practice was a little dated, the location is super convenient and his advice and experience more than made up for some old chairs being in the office. I will definitely leverage his experience and advice again.

I had almost exclusively started boycotting going to the dermatologist because I almost never had a good experience. That was, until I went to see Kim. I have been to her now multiple times for various services, and I have nothing but amazing things to say. Her professionalism and knowledge are unrivaled, and she has the ability to make anyone feel comfortable - not to mention, she is the first person who has actually helped my skin. I have been struggling with acne and acne scarring for years, and she started me on a regime of the PRP treatments. The results have been significant, and I owe it all to Kim. I would recommend her to anyone!!
