My husband arrived at St. Francis Hospital on an emergency basis per his primary care doctor as a result of severe complications due to bariatric surgery from a different doctor 13 years prior. His original surgeon was no longer here. So his primary located Dr. Pirello. Immediately his team came to th ER to assess my husband and after a whirlwind of tests, consultations with the doctor who explained every conceivable contingency and what could could be happening, he performed a lengthy extensive surgery. I was kept in the loop. The doc visited several times after as well as his team members. The expertise, bedside manner, lack of feeling rushed, detailed explanations, answers to all questions in my estimation makes Dr. Pirello top notch. In this day of assembly line medicine, I would give Dr. Pirello 10 stars
