I had my first crown prep done today. Let's just start off by saying I was as nervous as nervous could be. Simone and Dr. Fazzone made my visit as enjoyable as possible! Dr. Fazzone was like a painless dentist, I barley felt anything while getting the Novocain- from the start to finish. My comfort was their first priority & it was reassuring the whole time. Their bedside manner is wonderful. & having a Dr. & an assistant have a great working relationship makes the whole visit that much comfortable. I am pleased!

After chemo meds left my mouth FULLof cavities & I required extensive reconstruction in the form of crowns/partial crowns throughout my mouth, including my very visible front teeth. I did get a 2nd opinion but decided to go with Dr. Friedler because he seemed to have the most expertise (he teaches as well as practices). I looked at his 'brag book' of previous reconstructions (right word?) and they all looked beautiful! (he had before and after photos). I'm glad I went with him.... the rates were similar to other area dentists & the office was professional & on time. Both the dential assistants that work with him were friendly & caring. I'm glad I finally feel comfortable smiling again! Photos included are immediately after completion - now that the gums grew back again my smile is even better! :)

I am fearful when it comes to dentists. A visit can be an extremely high anxiety event for me. However, Dr. Friedler and his staff have helped me me a great deal. A big part of that is the patience they practice. They are Kind. They will stop and give one a chance to collect oneself. They manage pain effectively. You’ll know exactly what is going to happen next. There work is high quality. They are interested in delivering long term dental care and long term dental health for their patients. I came in to have a crown glued back in temporarily until I was fit to have a replacement. The company knew that I had cancer ahead of time that this was all I could do at the moment until my chemotherapy and major surgeries were done. When I got there I was told this was not possible, due to the tooth roots were broken, that I had a severe infection possibly sepsis, the tooth would have to come out immediately and then a implant or bridge (that would file down two healthy teeth) would be needed. They tried to immediately squeeze me into the upstairs oral surgeon the same day, who was not in my network. When I asked about the out of network status, they stated that my dental insurance was amounting to having a coupon anyway. I went home, called into someone in my network at Yale, setup appt. and sweated serious infection and having to possibly stop my chemotherapy for a week. One week later (without symptoms or any indicators to the above stated) I went to the new oral surgeon... had x-rays and a thorough exam. Low and behold... no sign of infection at all, No sepsis and the tooth can wait to come out until I am done with chemo and my cancer surgeries. I can not believe someone would handle a sick person so carelessly, add stress to their lives and scare them more on top of what they are already going through or what's worse try to make a buck off of them as well??? Add at Christmas to boot. I am shocked and rightfully a little angry. I do not recommend them ... go with your gut. You will know.

So I’m a big baby when it comes to doctors dentist etc, I just never enjoyed a single time ever. That is until I met Tammy. She made me feel comfortable and was extremely gentle but firm on a cleaning. In fact, I felt so comfortable they found a tiny cavity that they said could wait and see or they nip it in the bud and fill it today. I agreed and they even squeezed me in between other patients. Thanks Dr.Z, Tammy, and the rest of the staff for making a trip the dentist office not one to dread. I’ll be back, see you in August!!!

Best group on the shoreline. I started going to them about 3 years ago and every single person that works there makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. They have a great sense of humor and make going to the dentist less intimidating. I recently had my first cavity and was terrified going to get it filled-but Dr. Fazzone and the hygienist took time to calm me down and explain everything in depth. Their kindness and laid back approach made the experience less tense as it could of gone a completely different direction without that atmosphere.

State of the art new office. Dr.Friedler has given me the best veneers. Through my job I got to meet the founder of veneers and he was very impressed with the fine job Dr.Friedler had done, “This is how they are meant to look.Whoever did them did a great job” he stated. I travel almost an hour to see Dr.Friedler in his new office and I do not mind it at all. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Best dentist and great personality.
