Let's start with the fact that she's one of the genuinely nicest people I've ever met. Her patience, kindness, and knowledge surpasses my expectations. I like the fact that she takes the time to explain everything to you in regards to anything going on with your child. She is very knowledge of pediatric medical practice. She has not only been my daughters doctor since she was two months and she is about to be five years old, she has been my younger brothers doctor since he was born in the hospital and is now 18. Her staff are also very kind and never rude. I love the fact that they offer your child books at appointments. If you have as your child's doctor, you are lucky.

Amazingly caring, knowledgeable, and makes time for her patients. I've talked to her many time on the weekends even when she is at a concert or a major holiday she steps away. Simply the BEST doctor I've ever had for my kids -- she even caught a very rare congenital defect in my son that usually is missed.

My first impression of the physician office was really good ; the ambience was child friendly with ample books, toys and wall paintings . Dr Ziogas sounded knowledgeable in the "meet and greet" session. But our true experience when a problem came was really forgettable to say the least. In spite of clearly knowing that our toddler was on antibiotics prescribed by her for baby's ear infection and we in fact clearly telling that she was feeling burning sensation every time she ate something.. she didn't diagnose that it was thrush instead the antibiotic was strengthened; instead she recommended to go to ER when we called her that baby kept crying even after the visit. The doctor scared us it could be mouth cancer. The irony was the ER visit only worsened the case with a diagnosis of teathing after 5 hours of observation and torture by 5 doctors. We had to ask our parent friends showing photo of her tongue, who actually we're quick to say it could be thrush - a side effect of antibiotics. Inspite of the above mess we did give this doc and the practice a second chance with our new born. Our younger one was born at 5pounds.15ounces and discharged at 5 pounds 7 ounces less than 10% reduction in weight. At that time the lactation consultant was happy at how baby latched and nothing was concerning. In spite of that the nurse and doctors forced us to bringing baby to come for a daily check up with appointments late evenings and mornings that too in freezing winter. Despite it being normal that the new born would take at least 2 to 3 weeks to gain back their birth weight the doctors and nurses here insisted mom to start giving her formula, when mom was sure baby was latching well and having proper feed. So we were reluctant to take appointments after 5 days of bringing the baby to the physician office. We request if a weight machine be lended or nurse viist our place as we saw the new born getting cold and sneezing so didn't want to infect her in the name of being cautious. So we requested that we wait until 2 weeks to give baby some days but the nurses and the Dr Z literally gave open warning saying they will complain to DCF if the baby was not brought in as per their appointment schedule. All these only caused further stress to the baby and Mom. Incidentally we switched to a different paediatric and they immediately said 1 month visit should be enough as long as she has been gaining weight and this is despite the poor baby in her first week and it being winter.

Dr. Ziogas has been my family's pediatrician since shortly after the birth of my second daughter....24 years ago. I have NEVER even considered seeking care with someone else. The most important thing for me and my husband is that in the few situations in which we disagreed with her (which was usually due to our lack of knowledge), she ALWAYS spent extra time and effort to explain the facts we needed to hear. On those visits when she spent time with our daughters privately, I knew that they were having conversations that would help my daughters live happier and more successful lives! Thank you, Dr. Ziogas, for being such a wonderful part of our family!
