The waiting time is insane at this place. I waited for over 40 minutes to see Dr Violi, and she made me feel so rushed when she finally saw me. They can do blood test and ultrasound in their office which is nice. However, I spent the next 6 months dealing with BioReference (their lab partner) billing department and Anthem simply because they don't know how to correctly submit a claim.

Dr. Violi and her staff are awesome, very accommodating! I specified to Dr.Violi that I wanted natural birth and she did not push a c section my way at all. She helped me deliver my first child and she made the experience as smooth as possible. I felt comfortable and secure and being a first time mom that is important ! Love her!!

I have been seeing Dr. Violi and her team for over 5 years now. I initially went to their office because I was newly pregnant and I wanted to deliver at Greenwich hospital and they were a provider under my insurance. It was all a happy accident. I love Dr. Violi and her team. She delivered my daughter Abigail who is now 5. I most recently needed to undergo some minor surgery and Dr. Violi took excellent care of me. I work in a dentist office so I understand the goings on behind the scenes with insurances and scheduling and all of that and I think the staff there handles it great and with compassion and patience. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Violi and her team and not only because of their affiliation with Greenwich Hospital which is going to receive my next rave review!

Always in a rush, missed critical diagnosis, no dr present during advanced labor stage. Delivery delayed because dr was “sleeping”, with adverse results. No accountability when later confronted.

Really bad service, I waited 45 minutes to see the doctor. I had tests done and didn't even receive a call with any results. Really poor service. The only good thing was that I was able to make a same day appointment.

Wonderful care! Dr. Violi and her staff are kind and thorough, which put my mind at ease during my pregnancy, delivery and post-partum period. I highly recommend Dr. Violi’s office.

I highly discourage any woman from visiting this practice. I have 12 friends that all used to be patients at this practice. In the past 4 years, all but one of them have transferred out, seriously unhappy. Consistent among all of experiences were: - Excessive wait times for appointments. One hour was the normal time they left you sitting in the waiting room, but they often have patients waiting 2 or 3 hours in the waiting room for a routine visit. Yet there's a big sign in their office that if a patient arrives late or is a no-show there's a $50 charge. - Rude office staff. I hate to write a blanket statement like this, because there were occasional exceptions but overall this stands true. - Frequently they do a last minute substitution and the appointment you made with your doctor gets switched to a Physicians Assistant. The Physician Assistant is related to Dr. Violi (I think it's her daughter), and she provides completely inaccurate information. Seriously, you need to double-check anything she tells you as there's a 50% chance it is completely incorrect. - In the past 4 years, the two favorite doctors (among my friends) have left the practice, and the rumor is it was because of how poorly patients were treated. - They always seem to be short on staff. - Dr. Violi herself, is very rough. She accidentally broke one friend's water during a routine OB visit (which forces you to deliver in 24 hours, whether or not your baby is ready). She earned the nickname "man hands." - Other bad experiences among my group of friends include: Dr. Violi being missing in action for 20 minutes at the hospital when it was time to deliver the baby. Not waiting for the local anesthesia to take effect and stitching someone's ripped perineum after birth without any anesthesia for the pain. Missed diagnosis. Sending another doctor to do a scheduled surgery (of a sensitive nature) so she could catch up on paperwork, (even though the patient had purposefully scheduled Dr. Violi as at that time she was the only doctor in the practice that wasn't fresh out of med school). I've never written a negative review like this before. It was just that our collective experience was so egregious I wanted to spare future women the misery, especially if they're pregnant. Here are the new doctors my friends and I have been with since switching, that we WOULD recommend: Putnam OB/GYN- Dr Schecter & Dr Mollinelli both super nice and knowledgeable (associated with Greenwich Hospital) Rye West Med - Dr. Sharma (spends a lot of time with patients, super nice), Dr. Calyag (very down to earth, attentive, knows her stuff) , Dr. Desqupta (great calming zen energy- great for giving birth) , Dr. Elias (light and bubbly). Large practice, but they give you very personalized attention. Your records are on a shared computer, so it's easy to see a different doctor if you want to try them out or if you need a last minute appointment. They're also very prompt with seeing you- as in none of us have been kept waiting more than 5-10 minutes. (associated with Greenwich Hospital) Dr. Kleiban- smart and no-nonsense. (associated with White Plains Hospital) One final note- if you are going to be having a baby, choose your hospital first as doctors can only deliver at a hospital they are associated with. I'd highly recommend Greenwich Hospital - the service and comfort are far superior to the other choices (Stamford, White Plains), and it has a strong NICU. Hope this helps and best of luck to you!

The worst!! It's been over a year since my son was born and I'm still not over how terrible I felt with Dr. Violi and her practice. All the doctors there love to jump to conclusions and say you need a c-section. I was about 6 months pregnant and she was already telling me I needed a c-section because of a tiny fibroid. Thanks to the doctors at Greenwich hospital, they said that was NOT the case. Dr. Violi doesn't listen to your concerns and when you do ask a question, she talks down to you like you're stupid. I had to give 1 star in order to post this review, but I'd give Dr. Violi 0 stars. I also forgot to mention that when I went into labor, NO ONE from the practice showed up. Dr. Palos, and Dr. Violi were MIA and I had a random lady deliver me. They also charged me $20 when I asked them to sign and fill out a TINY disability form for work. I honestly am so grossed out by this practice and I hope more and more people realize how terrible they are and find a new doctor!!

I have to also say, though I loved her back when had my son (10 years ago) - the office & staff & overall lack of courtesy & compassion seriously declined in the few years following, I left about 4 years ago, its a bummer, but like many places, bigger they get, less the give (service-wise)

I read some of the reviews of Dr Violi's practice and I had to post my own. While I agree that on occasion the wait to see the doctor is too long, it is only because they are giving the best care possible to each and every patient. I have been going to this practice for almost 15 years and each and every person there is not only an amazing clinician, but a wonderful person.

Dr Violi has been my doctor for over twelve years and delivered my second son. She is the most kind, caring nuturing doctor who makes you feel like she has all the time in the world for you. Even when you visit her office and are not pregnant or having a baby, she is patient and listens and is so thoughtful and sensitive. Her sister Lisa the PA is equally as kind and caring. I would never hesitate to recommend them and everyone I know in Greenwich who goes there raves about them as well. I have no idea where any bad reviews come from they couldn’t be further from the truth. It made be sad to see them because such a good person and doctor should be rewarded with praise and support.

I feel the need need to share the experience my wife and I encountered during the first few months of our first pregnancy. My wife was a "patient" of Dr. Violi's for the first five months of my pregnancy. I say "patient" because she/we never actually met Dr. Violi, despite visiting her office five times during the first five months of her very high risk pregnancy. After waiting more than 45 minutes for her during my last visit, we decided to cut our losses and find a doctor who actually cared more about her treatment, than she did billing our insurance company.
