Was a patient of Dr. Espina's for about 4 years. She was always nothing but professional and I love the fact that they are a teaching facility helping medical students grow in their practice which is why I gave 2 stars. That said, my last visit did not go smoothly. When I arrived to the office for my 1pm appt no one was there. I waited 20 minutes before I left a note and went to run a errand nearby. I got a call at 1:45 and though they did apologize about "running late from lunch" the apology was brief and the reason unprofessional. They said I could come in but I needed a few more minutes to complete my errand and drive back. I arrived at 2pm, went to the desk and mentioned I had a doctor's appointment at 2:45 I couldn't miss, the receptionist acknowledged, yet the person sitting in the waiting room was taken back to be seen before me. I left the office crying at 2:25. I am extremely disappointed not only in the unexcusable tardiness, but also their poor judgement in handling the situation. Needles to say I have found a new OBGYN.
