Dr. Zirn, Dr. Jacobson and their team of nurses and technicians were absolutely wonderful. They took such terrific care of my mother, that when Dr. Jacobson called the night after her surgery to see how she was, she burst into tears. I’m so thankful that they all went to great lengths to make sure that she was taken care of. Thank you so much to Advanced Dermacare and their team!!

I went to get a mole removed by Dr. Jacobson. He performed Mohs surgery on my face 2 years ago as well. I received excellent care by him and the nurses both times. However, he went above and beyond yesterday. My 95 year old mom fell and list a lot of the skin on her lower leg. I was planning on taking her to the ER right after I was finished. When I told him what happened, he offered to see her and take care of the wound. We are both so grateful to him!! A trip to the ER could have meant hours sitting there. I know she received the best care possible. I also use the office for my dermatologist appointments. It is an excellent practice.

Front desk staff extremely friendly and greet you when you walk in to sign in for your appointment. Easy to make appointment around your work schedule. Doctors are great and take time to explain and you never feel rushed. Highly recommend Advanced Derm Care.

I called I had burn marks around my face after a waxing- I was on hold 20 min.- left my phone number for return call- never happened - called next day- stayed on hold- asked to make an appointment due concern on my face- the secretary told me there was an 8 week booking- I told her I was a patient and afraid of the rash that was growing on my face - she stated- " oh well too bad go to the emergency room" very very rude!

After my mom switched her health insurance provider they said they stopped supporting it and pretty much abandoned me ( a long time patient) and my mother. Plus the secretaries were really rude, every time you'd call it'd seem like they just hate their job and want nothing to do with you... unmotivated and could really care less about your situation.

I saw Dr. Gohara for the first time on 10/3/18 and had a skin biopsy performed. I received my invoice yesterday...but NO ONE has ever called me to discuss my biopsy results. Great service...I really appreciate having to wait almost 1 month to see if I have skin cancer. I noticed also that no one seems interested in responding to Google comments from your office...but why should that be any surprise? As far as this doctor and her nurse/assistant...I've never been more rushed and they were clearly overbooked. After this negative experience, I will choose to never go back and unfortunately, can never recommend.

I have been a patient in this practice for 9 years and have always received superior care with an excellent nursing staff and friendly greeting at the reception desk. If I have needed to leave a message on the nurses line, a call back is always guaranteed by the end of the day.

What a terrible costumer service. I tried to make an appt for my son, I was on hold for over 10 min and finally got a very lousy and stupid associate, she was uncertain to what info to get. After answering all the basic question without even asking what was the problem with my son, she put me on hold again, forever, so I hand up. I didn't make the appt and I'm certainly not goi g to see a doctor there because the front desk is the face of the practice,it makes me so set what king of doctor are those...probably as rude as their receptionist. TERRIBLE!

Have been using Advanced Dermcare for over 30 years and have seen a deterioration in its practice. Just spent well over an hour on phone trying to make an appt. ( while on speaker so I could do my chores) however never reached them. Last OV I had I felt very rushed. Not the same!! Feel badly but guess it is time to find a new dermatologist.

Advance Dermcare, lol.. Should be Advance we don't care. Worse experience ever dealing with such a provider. A place where you go to for treatment, their ethics is nonexistent. As for Dr.Goldberg his arrogance and lack of concern is shocking. All this place seems to care about numbers of people, not your issues. What happened to real doctors who care about your issues....

I have seen several doctors in this practice and not only the doctors but the entire staff has been courteous, helpful and patient. I think those that have complained about poor customer services might be missing the real issues: - health care paperwork has become an all consuming monster, therefore taking more time to process your claims which didn't happen in the past and impacting time with the patients. -the practice is growing, new treatments are being delivered every day and this should be looked at as a positive thing. More people want to see these doctors and the front desk and rest of staff can only fit so many patients in 1 day and can only answer so many calls at one time. Do you REALLY want a doctor that has immediate openings and the phone never rings?? You are getting the best in the area.If you are so unhappy with a slow returned phone call, go to a less competent doctor. I'm sure they will be very eager to get you an appt...As for me, I'll wait my turn, be patient and then get treated by a great team... If you treat people with respect, they will treat you with respect in return..

I can say that my whole family has been to Advanced Dermcare and we have all been treated professionally and compassionately. My husband went in to see a doctor for a very unusual rash. It wasn't long before we had 3 docs in the room examining him and it was clear that determining the correct diagnosis and treatment was the goal. I would have given 5 stars except that I know how difficult it is to get through on the phone system. I understand that they are working on improving this.

Long wait for an appointment, but called and got a cancellation for a Saturday visit two days after first call for scheduling. The two nurses and PA that took care of me were awesome! Was in and out in less than an hour with two small procedures that mitigated serious long term health issues. Have to go back for surgery, but have all the confidence it will be done with the same level of professionalism and care as my first visit.

Physicians are generally good -- the one I am seeing now is dealing with a chronic condition that I have and he listens to my complaints and reactions to medications. One of their doctors didn't really pay attention to what I was telling him, so I went to a different doctor. Their telephone system is terrible. No one answers the phone. They want you to leave a call-back number, but some of us don't have call-back numbers at work. The office manager must think he/she has this great system because their receptionists don't have to answer calls, but the system is impractical and should be scrapped.

Very rudely treated on phone. No help at all. All I was told was no appointments until September. Asked if there was anything that could be done, I was again told no appointments until September. I have a scalp that is burning. Then anything else I can help you with? Yes .... what am I supposed to do?? No offer yo let me know if there is a cancellation list. Rude and uncaring. Not what I want from a doctor's office.

Dr. Goldberg his terrible, and all the Receptionist they think they owe the entire office. They’re very rude over the phone. The nurses are horrible. I had a very bad experience, and I will never go back there again. Don’t trust that office.

It's easy for me to give Advanced DermCare 5 stars. I have been a patient there for 20+ years undergoing various treatments. Dr. Grace Federman has been my primary doctor, although I have also seen Dr. Clairwood.a few times. My kids saw Dr Lipper through they teen years keeping acne at bay. The staff is very professional but also very polite. Carlene and Krystin are at the Danbury check out area, and they are super sweet and helpful in getting you into your next appointments! For these reason and more, I have no reservation in recommending Advanced DermCare to anyone in the western Connecticut region.

Recently I attempted to schedule a new appointment, in 3 calls, spent a total of 60 min on hold waiting for a resceptionist. Left messages with no response. When I pressed "1" for calling from a physicians office I got a snappy repark about calling the wrong line. Initally the service was very good. I dont know whats going on with them lately, but it is unexceptable.

I have been going to advanced dermcare for over 15 years..Every doctor and nurse have been wonderful except for Dr.Zirn...My daughter had an appointment today about possible hives from medication,turns out it was eczema.Anyways Dr.Zirn stormed into room,didnt introduce himself and sarcastically asked whats the problem? after barely looking at my daughters hands he starts yelling at the top of his lungs about not knowing the difference between eczema and hives..He just would not stop yelling!He made my daughter cry from his verbal abuse..I have never seen such a demeaning,abusive doctor in my life..People need to stay away from Dr.Zirn,he is mentally not well.

I have visited with many of the doctors here. They are all professional and dead on resolving complicated issues to simple rashes. The nurses have been here for many years and know their craft . They strive to.be the best in their field that's why they have been in business this long. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. Ps the girls on check in namely shirley, denise and carlene are the best. Do not hesitate to ask them any concerns you may have

Dr. Goldberg has been great however the support staff in the Danbury office makes me want to switch doctors. Extremely long wait times and often times rude unwilling to help staff up front - Trying to resolve a problem over the phone and got hung up on, transferred to the wrong extension and after a third call still no resolution. Feel like just another number. Sad

I Just got off the phone with the rudest and most condescending scheduler I have ever spoken to in my life. I don't know what is going on in her personal life, but it was very obvious that she was taking her anger and aggression out on me. My 82 year old mother has blisters literally all over her lower legs, one is the size of an apple cut in half, and this woman actually gloated about the fact she couldn't help her to get an appointment sooner then two months away. I honestly can't believe they would hire such a negative, demeaning person to answer phones and communicate with the public. My family has been seeing doctors in this office for over 15 years and we will NEVER go back.

Dr. Gohara is amazing! I have been her patient for a number of years. She has such a friendly personality that makes me feel that I am more than just a patient to her. Dr. Gohara is professional, knowledgeable & thorough, but down to earth. Dr. Gohara explains everything in plain English. I can say with certainty that Dr. Gohara dedicates 100% of herself to her work everyday. Dr. Gohara is current with the many skin care treatments & products on the market. She is honest about which treatments will and won’t produce results so you don’t waste your money. No matter what skin care problems I have, Dr. Gohara has addressed them successfully. My skin looks better than it ever has thanks to her. I refer all my friends and family to her. Hands down Dr. Gohara is one of my favorite doctors.

Although I have never booked an appointment online at Advanced DermCare, I would highly recommend it. Almost every time I call to make an appointment, I am greeted with absolutely no enthusiasm and made to feel like I am a bother to the receptionist. I met with Dr. McFerren for acne twice before I realized I needed a different doctor. Although he was very nice, he looked at my skin for about one minute before he was prescribing me medicine to take for my acne. He did not ask me one question to figure out what is best to clear up my skin, all he did was write me a prescription for what I have heard from other patients of his is his favorite cream but IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!! Not a fan of his.

The doctors are so nice and sweet I love how they go back step back step about the right way to use the medicine my acen cleared up so fast they were really hopefully I'm glad that I got the chance to go to advanced derm care because they truly do care about getting ride if anything that you want done off your body or face I recommend this to anybody who is having face problems

Amazing doctors and nurses. The doctors know their stuff. They test what they need to, and don't seem to order unnecessary tests. They are aware of this crazy insurance world we live in and help to get prescriptions at the best price. The nurses spend time making sure you understood the treatment plan. It's always a great visit!

My daughter began seeing a dermatologist 3 years ago in this Danbury office. The staff and Dr Goldberg are professional. I am a working mother, and my daughter gets treated in the office 2-3 times a week. The staff has always accommodated my work schedule, so that my daughter does not have to miss any treatment that are benefical to her recovery. Love this place
