Dr. Jeffrey James has been such a wonderful Doctor. I was a little nervous to go to him because I've always had female doctors but our family would highly recommend Dr James to anyone who is need of his type of care. He has been professional and so compassionate in answering all the million questions my family and I had. You can really tell he cares for his patients and wants what's best for them. Hes Awesome!

I loved Dr. Bigsby! Very kind and helpful staff. Everyone in the waiting room was saying to one another, "You have to wait sometimes, but he is totally worth it!" And it's true. His experience in this field, as well as his background as a DO, was really helpful in my case, because I needed a double surgery. He was the first one who had the confidence, after examining me, that it *could* be done! I highly recommend him. If I had a second uterus to take out, I'd go back to him!

Dr. Bigsby and his staff have been absolutely amazing since Day 1. I have been to countless doctors/specialists over the past decade, and Dr. Bigsby is by FAR the most attentive and compassionate out of all of them. I don't know how he does it (with complex surgical procedures booked two days a week in various hospitals and the in-office appointments where he truly listens). After initially seeing him I had a sense that, after all these years, I may finally begin to see some type of resolve regarding chronic, painful issues that have been holding me back in life. While I hesitated on allowing myself to feel this way, I am now one month post-op and pretty optimistic. Yes, I'm having some problems still, but everything he has done for me seems like it's for the better. It hasn't been the "wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am" routine that I've unfortunately seen with many busy specialist surgeons. He's still working with me, and I'm confident my quality of life will continue to improve under his supervision and guidance. Thank you to him and his team! :)

Dr James is a great Dr interested in the overall well being of his patients, not just what falls into his specialty. He preformed a hysterectomy on me and appriciate that he TRULY listened and put value in what I had to say. He remembered even those little things I mentioned during the appointment which I thought was incredible with all the patients under his care. We live over an hour away and so was important to my family and I that i not be sent home to early. He agreed and will not leave the hospital till we are confident I am well enough to go home and stay home. So impressed had to come back and add to my review! Went to a follow up visit and the day before my feeding tube had fallen out and urgently needed replaced. Being a holiday I was having trouble getting anywhere and the moment he heard about it he started calling around to find a dr to replace it. Spent a good hour and half making phone calls on my behalf until he found someone. Totally blew my mind how invested he was in meeting my need, even when it was in no way his responsibility. He's not just a good Dr, he's a great one!

I was recently diagnosed with metastatic stage 3 ovarian cancer in Jan 2018. I cannot tell you how thankful I am to have found Dr Bigsby as my Oncologist. I drive one hour to see him for my appointments and chemo sessions and it is worth the trip! Dr Bigsby and his staff have provided compassionate and comprehensive care through this very difficult time for me and my family. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family if needed. I can happily say that I am currently cancer free and will be undergoing my last chemo session next week. I was only 29 years old when I had to have a hysterectomy surgery this past spring. I was of course scared out of my mind not knowing how my mental and physical health was going to be affected , and Dr Bigsby and his staff made this experience so much better then I could have ever expected. I have had two other surgeries do to my Hormonal issues before this surgery and I can honestly say I am so grateful that Dr Bigsby performed the most extensive one that I needed to have.

What a stand up guy! I felt like he actully heard me! Heard my husband and completely put our mind at ease! We were told one thing by a different dr- pety much that I have some thing real bad and he figured out what the actual problem is and is willing to fix it! I am usually hard on Drs. but Dr. Bigsby and his nurse are freaking Awesome and Amazing!..... Also Wendy at the front desk/office made me feel like a family member! She listened to my fears and completely comforted me and made sure I was ok! Absolutely love this practice!

Kind, reassuring, listens well, staff is amazing...I cannot say enough good things. Most importantly though, his recommendations are based on what is best for the patient. I cannot sing high enough praises for this team of caregivers at The Colorado Center for Gynecologic Oncology. I was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer in July of 2014. I am currently in remission for the 2nd time, greatly due to their skill and expertise. My survival journey began with meeting Dr. James at a GYN oncology facility in Colorado Springs. His loving, caring demeanor before surgery, during my hospital stay, and afterward is unprecedented. Dr. James left that facility to join forces with another doctor he had worked with in Florida, Dr. Bigsby. I decided to follow Dr. James to his new practice, even though my driving time was greatly increased. I knew Dr. James was well worth the extra miles, as he has, and continues to go the extra mile for me. Moving to CCGO has been a continued blessing for me in my cancer journey. I met and was intermittently cared for by Dr. Bigsby through Dr. James’ transition to CCGO. Dr. Bigsby also is a loving, compassionate doctor who goes the extra mile for his patients. They are a remarkable team of doctors! I continued to be blessed with all the other caregiver staff at CCGO whom each fulfill the deep values and mission of meeting the needs of the whole patient with loving, open, compassionate arms. The care team at CCGO consistently has your needs as first priority. Their gentle touch and kind words make a tough situation seem bearable. CCGO is a top notch facility, with their team going to weekly meetings to keep up with the latest in GYN cancer research. If you are in need of help with anything, insurance issues, other medical issues, a hug, a listening ear, I guarantee you they will be there for you and give/get you the help you need. As you walk into the facility, you are greeted with smiles and warm hellos. You are always made to feel important and special. If you have been diagnosed with a GYN cancer, I strongly recommend you choose CCGO for your care team. I doubt there is any better facility in the country. CCGO is about LIVING and doing the best they can for you to have the best life possible. Living with cancer is not a desired place to be, but your cancer journey with The Colorado Center for Gynecologic Oncology IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE.
