The nurses and doctors are caring and considerate, putting me at ease. When I need to stay overnight, I treat myself to their "Suites North", when it is available. I recommend it highly. It takes the hospital stay to a new level, and I leave feeling great and energized.

Aunt was sent to Rose Medical Wound Care for nasty sores on her legs that wouldn't heal. After two years of suffering, the caring, helpful doctor and staff have been fabulous! I give it a 1 because the bedside manner was wonderful! But I was seen and "treated" over the weekend here, was administered a medication and told to follow up with my doctor for bloodwork and anything else. I saw my doctor this morning and was sent to have emergency surgery for this issue, that she was very clear, SHOULD have been done immediately during my visit at rose, instead of just medication, and being sent home! Needless to say, I am beyond upset!! I think a 1 is generous, and like I said, that's because my nurse was amazing. I'd originally been amazing by the outstanding staff and "care" they took of me, I was giving s glowing review to my family and friends about my visit, that was before I found out how serious my situation was, and what a gross mistake they made, which could have caused critical damage.

Feb. 2019, they sent a 93 year old lady home in a cab. She was having some leg issues that worried her. After a week of tests she was good enough to go home. Having no family in the area, they sent her home, with her walker, in a cab. Cab driver dumped her off on the curb. As she made her way down the long sidewalk to her apartment she fell and hit her head. She called 911 and back to a different hospital she went. I'm glad so many have had good experiences but my mother's was not. This was negligent!!!!

I received excellent care from the Rose Medical Center ER on Wed., July 3. Dr. Mark Redlauer was the attending physician, Jen was the primary nurse & Spencer was the respiratory therapist. My hip was dislocated & before Dr. Redlauer could reposition it, he had to make sure that I didn't have a fracture due to the dislocation. Jen, the nurse in charge of my care was exceptional & very personable! She made certain that I was a comfortable as possible considering my pain level. Spencer, the respiratory therapist, came down to assist with the relocation of my hip just to ensure that my airway was open & clear (I have asthma). Everyone who assisted in my care that day was very thorough, attentive & caring!

Had urology surgery to remove stones from kidney everything leading up to surgery went perfectly great nurses in er! They lost my belongings bag after surgery and it caused me to have anxiety/panic attack but your night nurse helped turn this around by calming me down and helping make sure all my home medicine was correct in the system because it was not showing up at first, Nikki was amazing!

Beware! I had a terrible experience at Rose Birthing Center. I was literally in mid-labor pushing my baby out and they made me move rooms because there was meconium in her sac. So I was on my hands and knees pushing and they were yelling at me that I couldn't birth in the Birth Center anymore because it was against policy (meconium). They threatened that if I didn't move myself, they would physically move me themselves. It was a truly traumatizing experience. I was practicing hypnobirthing and this ruined my state of mind. I had hopes of a peaceful unmedicated birth and instead it was excruciating both emotionally, mentally, and physically. Just want other moms to be aware of my experience and the fact they can forcefully eject you from birthing center if you suddenly fall outside of their policy.

Its not cool to have a doctor tell you he doesnt know whats causing your symptoms.... Its even worse when said doctor only seems to be intrested in hangin at the nurses station... But the worst is when a doctor says 10 minutes and he will send the nurse with a script and discharge papers and it takes more than an hour!

This was my first surgery and from start to finish the experience at Rose was top notch. Check-in was very easy and personable. Kyle and Diane did a great job getting me prepared and ready for what to expect. I was actually nervous about the IV and it was minimal pain (easier than drawing blood) and left me with no bruising. The doctors and surgeons were incredible. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Bateman. He was fantastic. Dr. Sara the anesthesiologist spent time with me and answered all my questions. The recovery nurses were great. I was extremely thankful for the team that took care of me. I would highly recommend Rose Medical Center.

I visited the Breast Center that is now under Solis management. It was still being remodeled but the staff apologized profusely and had done a nice job of setting up around that. Staff was kind, as always. I appreciated the sticky notes on the dressing room mirror, where women could write positive affirmations for themselves and others. A really nice touch.

I had an issue with my diabetic blood sugars recently -- they were pretty out of control. The staff at Rose was totally professional, took care of me quickly -- I was there for about 2-3 hrs and was rehydrated; my blood sugars stayed elevated but not in a horrible way (about 208). Really top shelf care in the best way possible available here.

My visit there wasn't good. When I was in the ICU they took their sweet time doing everything. and wouldn't let me know of what was going on specially when I had to get transferred. I was suppose to talk to a doctor never came into my room. Didn't feel welcomed at all and the service wasn't good at all.

I spent one night at Rose after surgery. Everyone I came in contact with was amazing! I felt well cared for and never felt like I was burdening someone. A special thank you to RN Monica. She helped me avoid needing a catheter by remembering that the motion sickness patch behind my ear could have been the culprit of my problems. Thanks for the terrible bill and stress! I suspect they're rating would be even lower overall if it wasn't for what appears to be a great prenatal care experience. They'll never care for me or my family again.

Most everyone was very helpful and professional. Unfortunately I did encounter two nurses that kept this from a more positive review. One gave me my pain medication nearly 90 minutes after it was scheduled and another because of a mix up in communication skipped a dose altogether Obviously, not good after hip replacement surgery. The hospital needs to replace the mattress on their beds. They were so bad I was practically sleeping on steel. The last night I had to try to sleep in a chair. On the positive side the food was wonderful!

Started rough, rang bell twice then sat down for 20 unanswered minutes per the instructions. The actual test was torture, a person with apnea is belted & probed with attachments then told "enjoy your sleep"! The only thing that made it a bigger nightmare was at 1:30am a C-Pap was added to the torture protocol, I begged to be released 1 1/2 hrs early. Without the care provided by my 2 nurses, who helped me survive this test, I never would have made it to 4:30 before leaving Rose in a severe daze. Their care was greatly appreciated!

I am disappointed I was told I would be in a wonderful suite with stocked refrigerator and day room all the goodies. I haven't seen my bill yet but was in a nice room but the tv remote didn't work they brought me a second remote that also didn't work I feel I was totally disappointed and had to try to sleep with the tv on all night because of faulty equipment. I mentioned to the nurse that the compression socks were not working right also one leg was working the other not to well sometimes it would pump up other times not. she seemed unconcerned about it . I was a little concerned and pointed it out more than once. I totally hope I was not charged for the suite I was told about and didn't receive. Was very disappointed in what was promised and what was actually given.

I delivered my first baby at Rose recently and couldn’t be happier with my experience. If you are considering Rose for your baby’s birth choose them now! You won’t be disappointed. My water broke but labor had to be induced so I was there for 27 hours before my baby was born. We had several different nurses who were all wonderful. So compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and all around great at what they do! They were seriously angels. I have so much respect for them as their jobs must not be easy but they totally handle everything with love and class. Such outstanding people!!! My mother and husband stayed at the hospital with me for 2 nights. There was a little bed/couch for them to sleep on and lots of room. In addition, they could order guest meals for only 8 dollars which was so convenient. Tons of tasty food choices! I could go on and on about the care we received. From a lactation consultant checking in to helping me with postpartum care the staff truly covered everything to make me feel confident in taking my baby home. Thank you Rose for providing me such a positive experience during the birth of my first baby. I will always remember how wonderfully we were treated.

My birth experience this time compared to last time (also at Rose) was vastly different. I ended up having to deliver in triage and did not receive my requested epidural. I don’t know if the nurses could have done anything different to speed things along but it unfortunately was kind of a traumatic experience for me. Mostly in part due to the pain. However, everyone came together when it became evident I wasn’t going to make it to Labor and delivery, and they helped me deliver my baby safely. I just wish it had been in the environment I’d imagined and experienced last time. Recovery was on a different floor due to the construction, but I still received the same level of care and attentiveness I received last time when I was in the Postpartum ward. I saw a sea of faces during my time there but I especially remember Nurse Alex who was with me from delivery through recovery in postpartum and Dr. Kate Fellerman (?—I hope I got your name right!) who was the oncall physician since my regular OB was not able to make it. Thank you to everyone who got me through this when nothing was going to plan. I don’t know that I could have done it without you.

Our family lives in the Heart of the Rockies a good 3 hours away from Denver and seeking for a surgeon. I had a friend recommend Dr. Keil who uses Rose Medical Center. I am truly thankful for going to Dr. Keil. I recently had surgery at Rose Medical Center and stayed overnight. From the pre-registration process til my discharge from the hospital it was very professional. The nurses were very observant and listened to me. My pain was controlled and my experience was very pleasant. After my discharge from the hospital, the next day I received a call from the 6th floor nurse manager to check on me and make sure that I was ok. I also received a phone call from the nurse from Dr. Keil's office checking on me which also put me at ease. Dr. Keil's staff and Rose Medical Center seem to really care about their patients and follow through. My physician Dr. Keil was the best, caring, compassionate and good bedside manor. This has been one of the best medical experiences I have had. I would highly recommend Rose Medical Center and definitely recommend Dr. Keil to my family and friends. Thank you.

Very disappointed that I couldn’t get a total for my surgery prior to the procedure and Rose didn’t even try. Their portion yes, but not anesthesia, the resident assisting my doctor, meds or labs. It’s also ridiculous that I’m even being billed by these separate subcontractors of the hospital. ROSE should collect from me and distribute to the providers! Also, if you have a rule someone must be with you for your surgery, then have a service for that and for prescriptions. I was scared and alone in recovery and told I’d have to stay longer and that meant my ride had to leave. The other option - incur more cost to stay overnight. A social worker did not come up to help me. I was stuck figuring it out myself. This system has to change. Billing, terrible. Coordination of care from recovery to home - non existent yet it’s a policy you have some!!

I want to give a special shout-out to the nurses that helped me, Abby, Jessica, Amy, since it's my second day here I'm sure there will be more. Mr. Wadsworth I believe is the name of the anesthesiology doctor, and his entire staff, really helped me calm down my nerves before hand, since this is my first baby. Every question I had was answered, even the night before my operation! They are really on top of their game!!! Not to mention I want to give the best shotout to my doctor, who performed the surgery, Dr. Peter Kim. Amazing doctor, everyone took a really amazing good care of me!! Also the food is pretty badass. Thank you again Rose, definitely the hospital to have a baby in!

I had my second baby via family-centered c-section at Rose hospital in June 2019. It was a terrific experience and 100 times better than my first childbirth experience at St. Joseph’s hospital in Denver. From my own experience and from conversations with dozens of mothers in the Denver area, I highly recommend Rose Hospital for childbirth. What Rose does well: Staff Satisfaction -- the staff seem happy to work there. This dramatically improves their relationships with each other and their patients. Clear Communication -- The room white board contains useful information including treatment goals and the names of and how to contact EVERY member of your care team. Respect for Patients and Families -- My entire care team read my birth and postpartum plan and went out of their way to respect my requests. They took patient information and consent seriously. In the postpartum wing, the night shift nurses were willing to skip unnecessary check-ins at night and to group tasks to allow us to get as much sleep as possible. My baby was born small for gestational age and I knew she was hungry for more food than I could provide before my milk came in -- the team at Rose rushed to get me donor breast milk to feed the baby -- providing supplemental food without judgement. Also, Rose has a well-baby nursery and after a couple of nights with almost no sleep, sending your baby to the nursery to get 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep is a godsend and tremendously helpful in healing. Good Information -- Their postpartum booklet contains useful information including: A list of drugs that have been ordered for you and are safe to take when breastfeeding -- including drugs for allergic reactions (in the event of a reaction to surgical tape or cleaning agents) and drugs for sleep and anxiety. Information on when to seek emergency care for yourself or your baby after discharge. Rose Baby Appointment -- you have the opportunity to have a 1:1 appointment with a Labor and Delivery nurse ahead of your child’s birth to ask any questions. This appointment helped me to draft the best possible birth and postpartum care plan for me, my baby, and my family. The Physicians are Knowledgeable and Helpful -- the hospitalists and rounding physicians are knowledgeable and respected by the nursing staff. If you ask questions they cannot answer, they will say they do not know, find the answer, and then come back to inform you. Food Available at All Hours -- you can order room service at all hours. The overnight options are limited, but full meals of sandwiches and other food are available at all hours -- since you cannot always predict when you will have a baby or be admitted to a hospital. There are also special options for clear diets and modified clear diets depending on what a patient needs. Rose does many things exactly right and I highly recommend them -- there are just a couple of places for improvement: 1. We did experience a couple of unnecessary wake-ups -- I don’t think this would be a big deal if you did not have a newborn and were not working on such very little sleep. We were awoken when a machine in our room malfunctioned the night of my daughter’s birth. We were also brashly awoken for a lab draw in the early hours of the morning, but when the lab tech scanned my bracelet, he realized he was in the wrong room. The bracelet did work as a fail safe -- but we all lost a very precious hour of sleep. 2.The hospital has an “environmental” policy related to linen changes. There are signs on some doors noting that they will not change the linens unless requested. Hospitals are not hotels -- you are not laying down after a lazy afternoon sipping wine in Paris. A mother who gives birth to a child should not be required to request clean sheets the following day. If, for some reason, a hospital insists on saving money through these types of policies, linen changes should be offered after major events/surgeries, or, at the least, it should be clear who on the care team should be asked for clean sheets.

My sister in law had a surgery there and stayed overnight. The staff seemed very attentive and caring towards her recovery. Missed the 5 star mark because she got an infection after they discharged her and she had to go back to the ER and be readmitted a couple days post op. Maybe a bit more thorough check before discharge?

Over all I had no problem with Rose Medical Center. I had a bit of a rough recovery and wonder if they should have kept me another night, but the nurses and all were pretty good with me. That said, rather than push me to get up and walk, they let me sleep most of my time there while inflammation was preventing me from drinking much. I barely made the drinking requirement late in the day and still ended up in the emergency room for dehydration, 3 days after surgery, that cost me $500. They gave me a steroid to bring down inflammation and now I am finally getting some fluids in.

The assessment and interventions for my shortness of breath were effective, especially the need for IV fluids and steroid. I have a choice for emergency care; I know I can rely on the staff at Rose for professional competencies. It is my hospital of choice.

If I could, I would give 0 star. Rose Billing center is worse I have ever seen. They sent bill to collection agency without giving us notice even though we have been paying on time (of course they said that they sent us notice but we never received one). First of all they created multiple accounts instead of one. it was almost impossible to pay online as these accounts were not linked, We had to call them every month to make payment. Guess what when you call them to get information about your accounts they will simply give you third party number to coordinate and get information and when you call Third party they would refer you back to Rose medical Center. Medical facility and service we received was great but we are very disappointed with their Billing.

Most of the appointment was used to update and enter data on the computer, even though I had just been in for an annual less than 2 weeks ago. I received an hip revision on Mar 4 2019. My care throughout the entire process was excellent. From my surgeon to the nurses to the PT and OT. The food was really good too. I was really impressed with all steps Rose took to make my stay clean. With bacteria washes prior to surgery to all the special precautions that the nurses made every time they entered my room.

Just delivered my sweet sweet baby at Rose Medical Center under the physician care of Dr. Payne. I can not thank the staff and their team enough for such a wonderful experience. Dr. Payne was beyond amazing, coming in for my delivery when she wasn’t on call, talk about feeling a little extra special during one of the greatest moments of your life ;) She literally made my birthing experience peaceful, I didn’t even think that was possible. My first nurse Amy was such a riot, I was literally having fun with her during a time I was in some serious pain. She laughed and kept things light, yet was extremely professional, she was someone I want to know! Kate was my nurse when I delivered, basically an angel! I went with no birth plan and never took a class, decided I would let go and just see what happened and listen to the professionals, so happy I did. Kate coached me on how I was going to push when the time came, she was so calm and such a good cheerleader. I can’t imagine it any other way, was genuinely happy to share the greatest moment of my life with her. She was really good with my husband too, she had him right there in all the action and was teaching him things along the way! Next stop was postpartum. Rikki was my nurse for the night and that chick is amazing!!! She is literally bleeding passion for her job, you can tell being a nurse is her calling. She was great at managing a time full of adrenaline, joy, and also physical pain. Not to mention how busy she was that evening, yet never missing an opportunity to check on me. Carol was my lactation specialist. I have been very fortunate and feeding came very naturally, she saw that and gave me a lot of confidence right out the gate. She gave me many tools to carry on with my success and I enjoyed the time and the conversation we had together. She was so sweet and so real! Exactly what a lactation specialist should be! Nurses and all that followed were equally as amazing as the rest! There was not a single time we felt neglected or that we weren’t taken care of with the highest regard. I feel blessed to have chosen Rose even during a time of construction. Aesthetic does not matter in this time, what matters is the people who share this beyond special time with and all of these people were exactly who I would do it all again with! I love the care I receive. HOWEVER, during my visit this week I was astonished. I was there because I recently took a bad fall and was having trouble with dizziness and balance. To get my lab drawn, I walked and walked, couldn’t find Quest, and when I finally did, I found it was closed for lunch. Strangely inconvenient. Then I had to get a CT of my head. Dizzy, off balance, and walking for the first time with a cane, I had to find another building, go thru trial and error to try to get there, and finally made it to the Founders Building. Then I got to stumble back. This seemed totally unreasonable for a 74 year frightened woman who is dizzy and at risk for falling. Nonetheless, my cardiologist inspires me with confidence seems truly concerned for my welfare. I am fortunate to have found him.

Pre-op and surgical team was wonderful. Post-op care on orthopedic spine unit was the worst care I have ever seen. One CNA and one night nurse actually did their job, didn't even see any other staff. They didn't listen or respond concerns or problems. This stay was a disaster.

I've always had good experiences at Rose Hospital, having had several surgeries and numerous diagnostic tests there. But having arrived in an ambulance this time with a very scary condition, the staff went beyond their typical excellent service and was reassuring, super caring and proficient with their care. The doctor checked with my internist so as not to duplicate tests that had already been done and come up with a treatment plan we could all be confident about.

I love Rose they are such an amazing hospital. I had my first son there in 2010 and have been taking all my kids to the rose family medicine for their wcc ever since. They have closed the rose family medicine part, and ever since I have been trying to find a hospital I like for my kids. With no success I decided to call rose and ask if they might have another department that would take my kids .The lady in the referral center that i talked to was so rude to me .I asked her if there was a department that would take my kids and she said ok specializing in what so I can look it up and I said I guess a department that would do my kids wcc .Again she said ok specializing in what so I say I'm not sure I guess in children. I'm not sure what your asking me ma'am and Bam she hung up on me .I was so shocked. I have never had problems at Rose. I love Rose. I'm not sure if I should just go to the hospital and try asking that way or something, but I definitely don't want to call again just to get hung up on. But overall thank you Rose for all the awesome care you have provided my family with. When I was dying I went to 4 different hospitals and you guys were the only ones that figured out what was wrong with me and treated me. So I appreciate it all.

The care was very very good there! The staff was very nice and very attentive to me! I was waiting for about 5min before I was seen by a doctor. But after that, it went pretty quickly. I got the x-rays and then taken to radiology, for a CT scan. The results came back pretty fast, and didn't show any broken bones. But the doctor said I should see an orthopedic Dr for follow up because I showed signs of arthritis in my neck, spine and hip, knee. But I’m going to see my primary care dr on Friday,

We gave birth to our daughter at Rose. They incorrectly entered her name on her birth certificate which lead to an incorrect social security card as well. We have been trying to reach someone for the past 2 weeks and have left many voicemails and only one call was returned. We then were told it was corrected but found out they had not corrected it when we spoke to Denver Vital Records. Furthermore, once this whole mess is sorted out we will have to go to the social security office to have it fixed on her social security card. Not something you want to do with a newborn!
