We have been attending Pediatric Associates of Northern Colorado for many years and have never had a bad or annoying experience (not one)! We've seen several doctors and medical professionals here starting with Dr. Booth and have found them all to be very caring, thorough, thoughtful, on-time, and friendly. They take the time to understand the issues and suggest several care options. The rest of the staff is helpful and great with kids. I honestly wish I could go to this clinic for my own medical care!

Mom shaming and extra, not medically necessary vaccine, all in one visit. We moved to FoCo just before our little one's 9 month visit. I had charts sent early from other pediatrician; upon meeting Doctor Markley I was told that the 6 month vaccines had been giving too close together and we needed to have another dose or my kid wouldn't be allowed to attend school. 1) being new to Colorado I didn't know if this was true (it is not true, it was false information) so I took her for her word, 2) his vaccines were fine! I called the former practice and they double checked and said the spacing was close but fine AND I went to a different clinic in town and was advised his vaccines were fine before he was given a shot HE DID NOT NEED! I wish I had been more confident to advocate for my kiddo. In the meeting she spent time telling me how I needed to stop my kiddos bottle feeding and try and remove the pacifier as a source of comfort. When we talked about sleep, she advised me that crying it out would not harm my kid...I advised her that for us, that wasn't an option. When I got my kiddo's medical records there is a note that says, "mom refuses to do CIO". This upsets me because it is not a medical condition and it is not a choice of my kids...and there is nothing wrong with my choice! I was vulnerable as a new mom, at a new office, and she was judgmental and gave false information. NOTE: All of these positive reviews that you see from the summer of 2016 are the result of a solicitation of the office requesting clients post online. They sent an email with an offer for a gift card for positive reviews.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I want to start by commending the secretaries and office administrators for the work that they do. They were truly the kindest individuals in the office. However, after a year of going to this clinic with my son, I had to pull his records and find a new pediatrician. I have seen and talked to every doctor in the clinic, and thought we were getting the best care possible. Come to find out, there is really only 1 doctor that decides the medical opinions of the others. My child made a visit just over a week ago from me writing this, one doctor took down the history of the problem we were noticing. He prescribed medicine, said if it didn't go away in a week to call back and they would send a different prescription to the pharmacy. One week passes, our child isn't improving, so we call in to get a new prescription. I call in the morning to the nurse line, they call back a few hours later. Sounds like no problem, the prescription will be sent. This is early afternoon. Come 4PM or so, I get a new call from a nurse saying Dr. Markley wants a strep test done. Mind you, our original pediatrician is out of town and Dr. Markley HAS NOT seen our child at all in this time period. I ask if we can have the medicine due to the other doctor's instructions, Dr. Markley says no unless a strep test is done. I ask if another doctor would be willing to prescribe the recommended medication the next day so our child could begin to get better. The office administrator said she would call me the next morning. I get the call, with a scheduled visit that next morning because I'm a desperate mother wanting a healthy child, and was informed that Dr. Markley convinced TWO OTHER doctors that he needed a strep test WITH NO SYMPTOMS OF STREP THE WEEK BEFORE. Dr. Markley who owns the clinic bullied 2 other doctors into doing what she wanted done WITHOUT EVEN SEEING THE PATIENT. We took our child to a different clinic, in and out of this new clinic in 30 minutes versus the hour plus I waited at PANC. Needless to say, if you choose this clinic, only ask for Dr. Markley, because to her the medical opinions of the other doctors don't matter. Don't be surprised when Dr. Markley gets on this review and arrogantly refutes any negative opinion of her as she has done on any other negative review given of her. She is an ARROGANT and CONDESCENDING doctor and I would urge ANYONE who wants the best care for their child to avoid this clinic at all costs.

Don't be fooled by the decor. I never received a call back - during their normal business hours...about my SICK baby, and when we toured with them they promised to be available even after hours. I wound up having to go to urgent care because they never called me back. They have a very high turnover rate for their doctors, HORRIBLE customer service, and give "advice" that is both bizarre and unwanted. Just ONE example, they wanted to give prescription strength laxatives to a breastfed baby who hadn't pooped in 3 days( it's NORMAL for Breastfed babies to go up to 7 days without a bm as long as there are no other indicators of discomfort or hard tummy) I was also criticized by the owner Dr. Markley regarding the out of hospital birth center my daughter was born at. She scoffed and said it wasn't "safe", even though it is internationally certified and incredibly safe and partners with Swedish. She also proceeded to negatively talk about other patients of hers who have had uncomplicated homebirths and judged them openingly to me and my husband, whom she had never met before. Unbelievable. Absolutely no respect for their patients privacy or need for medical care. I just canceled our well visits and we will NEVER return or recommend them to anyone.

I love Pediatric Associates! My son has been a patient of Dr. Hobaugh's since he was six weeks old. The whole staff is excellent, but Dr. Hobaugh really stands out. He is smart, kind, great at what he does, and passionate about his work - my husband and I couldn't be happier with our choice of pediatrician! Navigating the care of your first born can be overwhelming and we feel so fortunate to have Dr. Hobaugh in our corner. Having 24-7 on-call staff a phone call away has made a huge difference to us as well! Knowing that we can talk to someone day or night who is familiar with our child and his health is invaluable. It is easy to over-research everything surrounding the health of your baby - Dr. Hobaugh's intelligent and practical approach is the antidote to anxious first time parents like us. We appreciate his calm demeanor and how thorough he is both in his care of our son and in his answers to our many, many, many questions! He clearly stays up to date on the latest research in pediatric care, but tempers that with his professional experience - a great combination. Perhaps most special to me is how obvious his passion for children is - he can be measured and professional when talking with my husband and me (something we appreciate!), but he really lights up when interacting with our son. He is the absolute best and we trust him completely. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Markley and staff at Pediatric Associates of Northern Colorado see both of our kiddos. Dr. Booth was there for my son and we're getting to know the whole PANC lineup of docs (we've seen Dr. Markley, Dr. Hobaugh, and Kim Ottolenghi). They're all excellent, listen intently to your questions, and treat you with respect by taking as much time as you need to answer whatever you might need to know about.

After accepting my daughter as a new patient and giving a clear verbal yes that the doctor would accept her as her primary care physician, the very same office manager sent us a letter a week stating they were no longer accepting new patients. Further, they were cancelling her scheduled wellness checkup for the following week. I distinctly remember the office managers first name, Crystal, and that she was the very same one who had said yes to my face a week prior. No other Crystal works at Pediatric associates, I called to ask. So I called them to explain figuring, let me give them a chance to explain themselves..... I spoke to Crystal directly and nicely and her i wanted to give her a chance to explain this letter. She says she only accepted my daughters visit that day not as a permanent primary care patient. NOT TRUE. So this is a cheap and cowardly brushoff after all. The doctor was fine and well recommended but if you want fair and professional treatment from the staff, look elsewhere, as the staff are the gatekeepers you must deal with first.

One of their providers is always on call rather than an offsite answering service so you know you will always reach one of the providers after hours or over a weekend. My family moved to Northern Colorado a few months ago and I was apprehensive to find a new doctor for my son because he has several health issues. I couldn't be more thankful to have found PANC! A little disappointed with PANC today. We made an appointment specifically for a flu test. They didn't tell us they were out of flu test kits until we arrived. I wish they had told us on the phone and we wouldn't have wasted the trip and exposed our daughter to more bugs. I don't mind that they are out of kits, I just wish they had told us from the beginning. FYI-Associates in family medicine, on Horsetooth and Shields, still has kits.

She goes the extra mile to answer any and all questions. She has years of experience and it shows in everything she does. We've received nothing less than excellent care from the practice! Our girls love the place, the doctors and the nurses through the years. Every time we have friends who've moved to FC, it's a recommended pediatric care to go to!

We've been going to Pediatric Associates for a little over a year now, starting just after the birth of our son. So far, we have been seen by all of the doctors on various occasions, and all have been kind, courteous and professional. The nurses are also very nice. My only concern is that the schedule seems to fill up very quickly. Although they keep several appointment slots open daily for unexpected illnesses, it seems like these fill up very fast. I realize there are only a limited number of these appointments, but perhaps they should increase staffing in order to accommodate more patients, since there is clearly a demand. They have recently added another doctor, so perhaps that will help address this issue. Other than that, we haven't had any bad experiences or problems with billing, or any other issues that come to mind. I feel the doctors and nurses here are caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. The facility is clean, cheery and welcoming. There are separate waiting rooms for healthy children and sick children, which is good. Overall, our experience here has been positive.

We've been going to Pediatric Associates since we moved here in 2008 when they were in their old location. Their new location is very nice. My oldest was one at the time and has always received all of the attention she needs. My middle child has been going there since birth and when she was having issues feeding they filled us into an appointment immediately. My youngest is brand new, but I expect the same care for him. We've always seen Dr. Markley and if she isn't available for an immediate appointment then we see Kim. Both have been kind, attentive and helpful. Basically, I've never had a problem and would recommend them to anyone that asked.

When my son was having issues with his asthma this past fall the staff was excellent in helping us get him better and getting a treatment plan into place. I took my little in today and I must say best experience ever!!!!!! My little has been in and out of this other doctors office for the past week. I got horrible care by the other doctors and didn’t explain anything to me. I go in today and We see Kat and she explained everything so I understood it perfectly. Answered all my questions calmed all my fears. I live about 40 minutes away but I will make the drive every time to go see them. They genuinely care. Are you pregnant, just had a baby, or new in town with big kids? You need look no further — you will be so glad you came and checked out this incredible group of caring practitioners. When we say caring it’s because our children have grown up coming to see these doctors. Dr. Richard Booth is a legend in Fort Collins — he sees big kids now of parents that used to come to him as kids themselves. And Dr. Jen Markley was the first doctor I interviewed with when I was pregnant with my first child — and I’m so glad I did! He’s now in high school and we have a special place in our hearts for both of these doctors who have been there for us morning, noon and night (and weekends) for well over a decade now. And there are several new docs and PAs you will be thoroughly glad you came to see here with your child, too. Kim is one of the most helpful, caring and truly gifted PAs we could ever hope to know. I have been able to get same day appointments anytime my kids are sick. Longer waits for well-checks. But worth the wait. Go with your gut, and come visit this friendly clinic! (Including the friendly nurses and front desk staff, too!)

PANC is excellent!! Wouldn't take my kids anywhere else. They always work with you to get you a visit, if needed. Their on-call responsiveness is outstanding. The doctors visit with you on more than just medical things, they talk to you about life with your children and provide support and recommendations specific to your situation and your kids. Felt so comfortable when we first became parents knowing they were a call away. We made several visit with our first child and they always reassured us that we were doing the right things. We took our teenage daughter here for diagnosis and treatment of severely painful recurring gastritis in 2016 and were told by the provider to go home and suffer for a couple weeks while waiting for an appointment with a specialist hospital in Denver. I had to insist on pain medication for my girl and argued with the care coordinator for more immediate access to a specialist. The decor is nice, and maybe PANC is fine for routine care, but our experience here is that they are not very assertive or knowledgeable about making urgent referrals. You will have to navigate the system without their help, even after paying for a consultation with one of their practitioners.

We absolutely love Dr.Markley and the team of assistants! We have always received excellent care and they always take the time to explain my daughters treatment. My daughter has only been seen by Dr. Markley and Kat, but I would not hesitate scheduling with any of the other Dr's or NP's.

We love the doctors and nurse practitioners at Pediatric Associates, but have been left disappointed after multiple negative encounters with office staff. The customer service could be much improved in the areas of reception and particularly, financials. Heaven help you if you have an issue you need to resolve!

My son (16) and daughter (14) have been patients of PANC literally since birth - Dr. Booth was in the delivery room for both of them! This office is just the right size - fully staffed to get your kids in for same-day appointments when necessary and yet small enough that you feel you are part of their family. Many of the nurses have been there for well over a decade and really seem to get a kick out of seeing the kids grow up! The doctors are attentive and thoughtful and their follow-up is great! I recently gave my teenagers the option of changing to a non-pediatric office and they both said NO - we like it here! Good thing they see their patients until they are fully grown!

Dr. Markley is the best! I wish I could have a doctor like her for myself. She is great with babies and answers all my questions with patience and thoroughness. She has been more than just a doctor and truly partnered with me in determining the best feeding plans for my daughter. Their office is very clean and baby-friendly with pretty mobiles and wall paintings. I also saw other doctors (Dr Rogen, Dr Hobaugh) for same-day sick visits and they are all great. I cannot imagine that there could be a better pedi office than this one.

Dr. Michael Hobaugh is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. The staff at PANC are also amazing. I am always able to get an appointment when I need one and the staff and doctors are really good about following up to check on how my child is doing. I really trust my child's health and wellbeing to the team at PANC.

The staff at PANC are wonderful. My son is about to turn 3 and my daughter is almost 8 weeks. The people in front have always greeted us warmly and usually by name. We try to always see Kat Johnson and she has been amazing with my son who is normal terrified of people. Kat has never talked down to me and genuinely listens to any concerns that I may have then addresses them in ways that are easy to process. She has pointed us in the right direction when we’ve neeeed specialists and followed up afterwards. I am incredibly thankful to have found such great care for my children.
