Got into the practice to see Dr. Ziegler after moving to C. Springs, and I have to say: despite still working to overcome my past trauma, this is the one OB/GYN's office I've been to where I truly felt safe. Receptionists were kind and courteous, as was the nurse (I'm sorry, I don't remember the names yet!) and provided such a good atmosphere that I was okay with talking to Dr. Ziegler's PA student first - something I've never felt comfortable doing before. The doctor herself was very attentive, kind, and professional. The one minor complaint I have that keeps me from rating 5/5 instead of 4/5 is that it took a little longer than I'd have liked to get called back into the room (about 10-15 minutes past scheduled appointment time), but considering what I'm used to where I grew up (anywhere from 10-30 minutes past), plus the great attitudes of all in the office and how quickly things went after that point, I'm willing to chalk the wait up to a busy day and new paperwork for the system.

Dr. York and his staff are amazing!!! From check in, to check out and everything in between. Everyone is friendly, prompt, and well educated in their field. All my questions were answered, and I felt very comfortable and confident in the care throughout my pregnancy. Their facility is very clean and up to date as well. You can tell they take pride in what they do! 5 stars honestly is not enough!

I had the best experience here! The care i received from the entire staff during my pregnancy was incredible. I’m currently 3 weeks postpartum and could not of asked for a better doctor for my delivery. Dr. York was understanding, informative, and most of all let me make my own decisions during my labor.

I am very grateful that I found Dr. York and his amazing staff. Everyone I have come across has always treated with me courtesy and respect and they are very kind. Dr. York made me feel As if he truly cared about me as an individual and not just a number. That is a big deal to me. What I love the most is the fact that it is not difficult to communicate with this office. The patient portal is very user friendly and I always get a response whether by email or phone. I don’t have to reach out two or three times. I highly recommend North Springs.

Dr. York and his staff are amazing. I could not have found a better doctor. They helped me get pregnant in the first place and then we’re with me every step of the way until about 22 weeks. Dr. York was wonderful about answering all my questions and was great about managing my high risk pregnancy. I was carrying twins and have lupus. Then at my anatomy scan he found a two vessel cord which is a minor abnormality. He sent me for a second look at Maternal Fetal Medicine at Memorial Central. While there MFM found some concerning issues with one of my twins and did some more extensive testing but what was most concerning is that I had started dilating a tiny bit and had cervical incompetence. The MFM team immediately determined I needed minor surgery to have a cerclage placed. Then I followed up with Dr York. Well I began having preterm contractions and after ending up in Labor and Delivery twice for it Dr. York and the MFM team determined that I should be a MFM patient going forward, not because he couldn’t handle my pregnancy but because Memorial North where Dr. York delivers at can only handle babies born after 32 weeks gestation and he didn’t want me to end up separated from my babies if I went into active labor before 32 weeks. The care he showed me was tremendous. I did give birth early, at 29 weeks with a doctor I had met just twice before hand. He was a great doctor but I wish it had been Dr. York. My kiddos are still in the NICU at central and Dr. York has been doing my follow up care. He got me in immediately postpartum to check things out due to my having preeclampsia during my pregnancy. He noticed some inflammation with my gallbladder and had he not done so I might have waited to long to go to the er when it became painful. His entire office staff makes me feel like family every time I come in and I couldn’t ask for a better doctor. I hope when my husband I decide to expand our family in the future that I’ll make it to term and will have him for my care through the whole process.

I loved Dr.york. The nurses are great too. We always left in a good mood. Very clean and I loved that they work with the hospital hand in hand next door. Everyone is very friendly. If it's a busy day try not to feel like it's just "you", I know on the busy days I had to step back and say the world does not revolve around me. I love that I did everything there that I needed. I also feel like Dr.york is good for women who like to ask a lot of questions, but he will not feed into the "what ifs" which is great; it kept me calm. He is very professional and overall I had a great experience.

My wife and I absolutely loved Dr. York and his entire staff. We had a high risk pregnancy that was a scary time for us, but he and his staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and would take our calls/texts when we were in need (even at midnight in one instance...) There is no more important time in a young couples life than when they are pregnant, and we couldn't have had a better experience than we did with Dr. York and his staff!

Athalia Bufano

I had a great experience with my pregnancy and delivery with Dr. York. I had a higher risk pregnancy, and he paid enough attention that it wasn't overbearing but still very careful. Good bedside manner, appointments were usually on time, and I was treated kindly and was listened to.

Mackenzie Huss

Amazing staff! Always a great environment and very helpful.

Called around all local OBGYN and got a lot of bad attitude. When I called north springs OBGYN the girls went out of there way to help me out. Had great attitudes and were very nice. Made sure to get me a time that worked with my schedule and treated me very well during the appointment. I will definitely be returning to this office.

brianna hernandez

This clinic sucks they literally scheduled me for an appointment I was to early along for . Do not waist your time or money in this place .

Well I'm sure I will get a condescending response from them for this review, but it has to be said. I was pregnant with my first child, and like any other first time mom I had plenty of questions and concerns. Most of the time Dr. York would downplay any concerns I may have had. Several times, i would make an appointment early in the morning before work, and end up waiting until i had to reschedule because i would be late to my job. The biggest reason I am giving this office 1 star is because of how I was treated by the staff. The front desk receptionist (Debra) in particular. When I was using the bathroom and came out I heard her talking to the other nurses about me and saying I was rude and some other obscene things. When I left in tears, I called dr. York to tell him what had happened. His response was: "well we can't all have a perfect staff." After that incident I still had to deal with this receptionist Everytime I went in for an appointment. I couldn't switch doctors at this point because I had already paid for all services upfront. They didn't file my FMLA paperwork on time and made constant excuses. I will say that some of the nurses were very helpful and kind. Dr. York told me he had a conference and would not be able to deliver my baby, but I later found out from another doctor that he was vacationing in Hawaii. I'm glad he was not there. The on call Doctor at memorial North made me feel much better. The overall experience was pretty horrible and I personally do not recommend using them as your OBGYN.

Really good really helpful

Amazing staff! Erin (RN) was so awesome and kinda to me. Dr York is very well informed and updated in all the questions I had for him. I feel so comfortable and confident that's the right practice for me.

amanda landi

I absolutely love this practice. I had a tremedous amount of anxiety when I became pregnant with my 3rd child since my 2nd was super rough and my doctor was no longer available. The staff understood and were so compassionate during my pregnancy. I enjoyed going to my appointments. Dr. York and his staff truly care about their patients. I ended up having high blood pressure again leading to an induction. Dr. York made sure to check on me all day and literally ran to deliver my baby. My baby had her cord wrapped all the way around her and he remained calm and delivered her safely. He even pretended my placenta was a jellyfish which was absolutely hysterical. I ended up having to stay in the hospital for a few extra days because my baby was jaundice. I had an issue and the nurse Erin literally walked over to the hospital to come speak with me. I highly recommend anyone looking for compassionate ob/gyn care go to Dr. York.

Mamas, if you need to come to North Springs OBGYN with small children, find someone to watch them at home or find a different practice. This practice has a very intolerant attitude toward small children, and I don’t want others to be treated the way I was. I was at North Springs OBGYN to watch a friend’s children in the waiting room while she went back for her appointment. She has two small children and a baby, and I have two small children. Deborah, who seems to run the front office, insisted my friend and I leave the front waiting area, and without explaining why, ushered us to a back waiting area, the size of a large cubicle, and butting up to exam rooms. I got the kids settled, but the baby cried and cried. Deborah finally came back, and when I wouldn’t take the crying baby to his mom (I felt it was imprudent to walk right in on a pelvic exam and insist mom hold baby), Deborah told us we needed to leave the office and stand out by the elevators. She explained children and crying baby were too unsettling for the patients she had insisted we sit near who were having “delicate procedures.” She did not want us in the front waiting room (where there IS an area for children). So I had to get out of the office with small children and a baby as well as my pregnant belly. Thankfully, a kind nurse helped me troop everyone out so I could stand holding two littles so the three others could sit on the only available seats. It was upsetting that Deborah, who works for an OB office, would insist on this of a pregnant woman. It was very upsetting that an OB practice could be so anti-child. It was an illogical decision to insist we sit in a separate waiting area right near all the exam rooms with patients having “procedures” and then be upset that the children were disturbing the patients. It is confusing that a crying baby would be so upsetting. What happens when a postpartum mom with a crying newborn is there for an exam? Is she asked to leave? The comfort of other patients was paramount to the staff while forgetting my friend was also there as a patient. No consideration was afforded to her in this matter. Deborah exhibited very poor judgement and poor customer service, especially with a first time patient, which my friend was. First impressions last. The office needs to have an upfront policy, told to patients when they schedule, that multiple small children are not welcome and need to be accommodated elsewhere. Never at any time were we informed that children shouldn’t be present, and Deborah lacked clear communication from the get go. I am thankful I have an OB with an upfront family friendly policy, and I hope North Springs OBGYN rethinks their attitude toward children.

I absolutely adore Dr. York, Jennifer and the rest of his team. I have never felt this cared for before by a doc. Dr. York is the best and I'm so fortunate to have found him. I am floored at the time spent with each patient. Jennifer always sets my mind at ease and is amazing too. Thr nurses are awesome and they are magical about drawing blood as my veins are not easy. What a top notch team all around. Thank you all.

Not a place for minorities, period.

As you can tell staff here doe not care seeing as they respond to reviews with advertisments from there website. I had issues asked multiple times to be contacted by the doctor with still no responce. Cant get test results as well as the last review and was never told about checking them online.

This is an absolutely WONDERFUL office. I have been going to North Springs OB/GYN for three years and they have always provided me with the up most care and are attentive to my needs. Their staff is extremely friendly and and even remembered me by name. Dr. York and his team are all very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with no hesitation. This office has a quick response to messages/ questions and requests. I finally found an environment that truly made me feel comfortable and cared for after a long search for an ob/gyn. Thank you for all that you have done. I would refer anyone/ anyone to North Springs OB/GYN.

I had an amazing journey with Doctor York delivering my daughter. The visits were very friendly and personal, The Delivery at memorial north was amazing as well. The entire staff was more then I bargain for. That's why when I was pregnant with my son Dr. York was the first Dr. I had in mind. Im glad to say even with complications and a 6 week early pregnancy, I was comforted 100% along the way. Great staff as well!

At first my experience here was absolutely amazing. I was high risk for misscarry and not only did the RN call me to check on me so did doctor York. As time has gone on I feel like he has taken lots of patients and has forgotten about me. I needed a prescription filled for antibiotics waited around all day for them to be filled and it took my husband calling twice in order for it to happen. We just made a big payment to them and now I've waited over a week for results of my glucose test still don't have them after calling twice. Doesn't matter how many times the front desk lady Debra has been told my name she still asks over and over again. I was told I would be meeting with the doctor from here on out I understand he has things going on but it's been 3 visits and I had to ask to be seen by him. After I was told he would go over my son's body scans with me I had to ask about it because I wasn't told anything about clubbed foot until I got a phone call sending me to another doctor. There is a lack of communication between staff and doctors I've been told many times oh I'll let the doctor know and still no phone call. My health is important along with my baby's health. I want a doctor that's will understand that and be there for me start to finish. Will not return to this office. Warning ladys they are a scam we paid them over 800$ even though we met our deductible turns out they owe us that money back now.

I have had nothing but a great experience with this practice. I have no complaints. The staff is just so welcoming and i actually miss coming in twice a week. Being a first time mom i feel like i had such an amazing delivery despite the contractions and it was all because i had great care leading up to that moment that made me confident. I switched doctors at 8 months pregnant because i was having a hard time with getting answers from my previous provider. I finally decided to seek new care. The moment i stepped foot into the office and everyone greeted me and were so willing to help me out i immediately knew this was the best decision.

I wouldn’t recommend, first off after he followed me my entire pregnancy and he hardly remembered me every appointment (which my sister in law said the same thing about him) nurses were nice but front desk was unpleasant. Then after the birth there was a 2nd surgery needed due to his lack of attention. Then after they verified that my surgery was covered with my insurance and informed me that everything was good, 6 months later contact me informing me that i actually wasn’t in network and had to pay for the surgery. Not recommend.

Dr. York and his staff are simply amazing. The compassion during my loss was beyond words. Everyone there goes out of their way to help you. Dr. York is such a nice, caring man. I couldn't imagine going through such a difficult time without them. He spends a lot of time with his patients and explains everything. The office staff goes over and above to accommodate you and they will get you in very promptly if needed. I am so very thankful that I chose them for my care. ❤

I had Dr. York for the most of my first pregnancy. He unfortunately didn't get to oversee the last 4/5 weeks of the pregnancy or deliver my son, but for the first 25ish weeks he was an amazing doctor. Dr. York and his amazing RN Erin were so kind and caring, and I'm grateful that they payed alot of attention to my over all health during my pregnancy. Due to their vigilance they were able to catch that I was developing severe early onset preeclampsia at 24 weeks. He had me placed on hospitalized bedrest at 25 weeks at Memorial North, and knew when I was too complicated of a case and transferred me to the amazing MFM team at Memorial central at 26 weeks. Erin even went as far as giving me her personal cell if I needed to talk to someone, which I regretably didn't do. Once I had my son at 30 weeks, I was released back to Dr. York. The post partum check ups were normal and if I had any questions, they always answered them. I also loved Debrah! She was nice! So was Nicole! I did end up with severe PPD, anxiety, and PTSD that Dr. York was unable to treat due to me not admitting to it and having to go to another OB because of insurance stuff, but I would not say that Dr. York could have done anything different. You can't help a patient who isn't telling you what's going on. He can be "to the point". But it was something I appreciated considering how my first pregnancy was. I needed answers, he gave them, but he was never rude. My son and I are alive because of the great work of Dr. York and his staff.

I haven't had much luck with providers lately, however I had a really good visit with PA Ziegler and the PA student. They answered all of my questions, didn't feel rushed, came up with a plan of action and very informative. Also, I called and got an appointment the next day :)

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. York and his 2 assistants (one named Tamara, the other not sure). I had brought my 3 kiddos to the appointment and was having a friend watch them in the waiting room. My constructive criticism would be that Deborah (front staff) could have handled it differently. She took our group out of the kids area and placed us in a back waiting area (near all the patient rooms). Then while I was in with the doctor my helper was asked to leave with the children because they were disturbing the patients. My helper made a comment: why is there a kids area if kids are expected not to come? Had I known that kids weren't supposed to be there, I would have saved Deborah the trouble (I feel that she was rude and not giving a good example). Otherwise, had I only dealt with Dr. York and his assistants I would give 5 stars, and I hope to return to Dr. York when need be. ***In response to Erin: thank for addressing my concerns. Just a quick note: you did get the children's ages incorrect, the children's area does have a tv with movie playing muted (and a note saying do not adjust the volume and Deborah came over to check the tv - to make sure we didn't touch it) which is not helpful for a kids distraction/entertainment so another suggestion is to just remove the tv, and I was asked NOT to bring my children back. So another suggestion would be to ask people not to bring their children, I think it would make things much easier on your staff. I'm so glad you are planning on discussing this with your group. Feel free to call me and I can give you even more suggestions.

Amber Yingling

Was a great first time experience for me! Both Dr and staff were kind and courteous, while still being professional. Dr York was compassionate to my situation, was honest about what treatment could and couldn't do, and thorough in explaining what kind of effects it would have on me and my other health conditions. I also liked that he is approaching the issue with simplest solution but also has a plan B and C if that doesn't work.

I don't really understand the bad reviews on here . Well, today was only my first appointment, but so far I am pretty impressed. The office is very nice and so was all of the staff that helped me . I got my test results within an hour (give or take ) after leaving my appointment, and I was told I would have the dr see me tomorrow because of some concerns . My old ob that delivered my two other babies, was not a single doctor office , and there was twice as many nurses running around constantly, trying to take on so many patients. And it was really hard to even speak to him - because he was either gone , or delivering a baby , but not the guaranteed doctor to deliver for you. I've had to wait way longer at an ob appointment before. And I always felt judged when I walked into the office , but I didn't feel that way here . I hope everything else goes well for my time here !

Kara Stanfield

One of the best! Everyone is so nice and very willing to help!

I found Dr. York’s office through recommendations from other women and I haven’t been disappointed with my decision to go through them. I wish I could remember the name of the woman at the front desk but she is always so sweet. The nurses are as kind and as informative as possible and really go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and up to date on anything that’s happening. Dr. York and his assistant are just as amazing as the rest of them and seem to know what they’re talking about. Their office is small but I love that, I don’t feel like another patient to be seen but someone that is remembered when I come in. I’ll always recommend them.

Elizabeth Sutter

Dr. York and his staff have been amazing! I started going because of an HPV issue and was referred by a doctor that I can't stand. Dr. York was kind and kept informed every step of our procedure. After that I kept going when I got pregnant 2 years later. My pregnancy was pretty normal except for diabetes. Every appointment Dr. York and his staff would take the time to answer every question and concern I had. When I got into my last month, the nurse Erin even gave me her cell number so I could text her asap with any complications or running to the hospital. Debra has always been kind and efficient, even scheduling, which can get tight, I understand that it's a doctor's office and some appointments will last longer, so guess what? The later in the day you are, the more likely you are to wait. It's just how time works out. I did pre-pay, but my insurance ended up meeting it's deductible from the hospital and I got a check from them within 2 weeks, to refund what I had pre-paid. They are amazing and work extremely hard. I can never thank them enough and will refer them to everyone!

This is THE WORST practice you could ever go to. DO NOT GO HERE!! For the sake of your sanity and a healthy pregnancy, do not even give this place a second thought. So many things that I could say is wrong with them. 1. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Their staff is rude, they treated me with such disrespect. Hung up on me multiple times, rude in the way they spoke to me. Just disgusting people. 2. They have no idea what they are doing when it comes to billing. You must pay very close attention to what you have paid for and what they are trying to charge you for when it comes to paying them. Their staff is completely incompetent and never on the same page when it comes to billing. They also didn’t want to give me my billing records which is a law!! 3. They harassed me when they said I owed them money, yet when I tried to resolve the issue and proved to them that I didn’t owe them anything, they ignored all of my emails and phone calls. Their billing records NEVER match, and none of their staff knew what was going on with my account. 4. And MOST IMPORTANT, they are Inattentive when it comes to my needs as a patient. They didn’t listen to the questions i had and didn’t answer them. Made me very uncomfortable and were very judgmental. Those are JUST A FEW! DO NOT GO HERE!! Worst decision I’ve ever made.

Sandra middleton

Amazing place! I feel heard and cared for, they go out of their way to help you understand and feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place! :)

Dr York has delivered 4 of my 5 children. Phenomenal doctor and amazing team go back him up. Dr. York went out if his way to come to my wife’s delivery on his day off. After years of rapport my wife insisted she have Dr York catch our baby. Rearranging your schedule to accommodate a patients needs is something that sets this office apart from the rest. He spent from 5am - 9am laboring with us and ultimately delivering our 5th child. If anyone is having second thoughts about going to North Springs I urge you to sit down and let this team get to know you. Guaranteed you won’t regret it. Thanks guys!!!! We appreciate you!!!

Dr York and his Staff are amazing! I would highly recommend them. I am really big on Customer Service as I have made my personal career that of high expectations of my Customer Service. They past my test by far!

I LOVE Dr. York and his office staff! Amy, his scheduler for procedures, is absolutely amazing! I had to have a procedure done and she made the whole process so smooth and simple. She did all the work, cleared everything through my insurance and was right on with what my deductible would be. Amy was so kind, friendly and warm. She had answers to all my questions! I apprecited her and all her efforts! I have been going to Dr. York for 10 years and he & his really are the best!

Emily Andrews

Absolutely love this place! Everyone is so nice, Kayla and Dr. Ziegler are amazing. Love this place.

Jenna Gould

My husband and I absolutely loved Dr York and his team! He always made us feel like we were his only patients! We felt so well taken care of in every aspect of my pregnancies. I can't even express in words how honored and overjoyed my husband and I are to have had Dr York deliver all three of our amazing babies!!! Thank you Dr York and your one of a kind team for making this a part of our lives we will always remember!!! We highly recommend Dr York and the North Springs OBGYN staff!

Kaitlin Wise

Great experience and they made me feel very comfortable.

Ofelia Adams

Excellent doctor, he was with you step by step from visits to delivery.

First of all, the nurses and receptionists get five stars!!! They are WONDERFUL and personable! Erin was always available to walk me through getting additional care locally (we live 100 miles away, but VBAC laws...), and when I had concerns. I came to North Springs OB-GYN for a VBAC delivery. All went well until Dr. York said that policies had changed- you couldn’t wait until 42 weeks to deliver, they had to induce at 41. So I have the induction. Because I was a VBAC, I was stuck on the bed, tied to machines, with a nurse jumping down my throat if I move enough that a monitor will no longer register (despite promises of mobility). Dr. York made it in time to deliver the baby. At my postpartum appointment, he ridiculed my birth control choice (a natural one, that didn’t involve anyone making alterations to my body or disrupting my hormone balance) and teased me about being back in soon. For our last little one, we had been traveling when we found out I was pregnant, so only had two OB appointments by the time we saw Dr. York at 22 weeks. Once again, the nurses and receptionists get five stars for our care!!!! However, our experience with Dr. York left much to be desired. We were labeled as ‘transients’ (we had a home, an address, a house, but were labeled ‘homeless’) and all of our paperwork said that we had ‘insufficient’ prenatal care (you typically only see an OB-GYN 3 times between weeks 12 and 22, and they won’t see you before week 12). We came with all our paperwork, blood work results, and everything from our previous appointments, but were labeled, nevertheless. Despite pointing out these inaccuracies, they were never corrected. At our ultrasound, our baby measured small, and they suspected a club foot (it was not). I attempted to remind Dr. York that my babies have always looked small at this stage, and that he could even check his own records for proof, but it was for naught. He sent me to Maternal-Fetal medicine for weekly ultrasounds (his staff worked with us to make them bi-weekly AND schedule our regular appointments for the same day, since we live 100 miles away. Once again- 5 stars for the staff!!) I was forced into having steroid shots (to develop her lungs) for just in case we delivered early (before 34 weeks) because of her lack of growth. I decided to increase my intake of good fats, and she started to gain weight normally. I stopped my bed rest, and my heart issue and extreme pain went away. However, it was decided (by the all knowing, but never present doctors at Maternal-Fetal Medicine, in conjecture with Dr. York) that we should be induced at 36 weeks. Since she was growing and had good blood flow, I wanted to wait, but wasn’t given a choice. I was induced at 37 weeks (VBAC laws in Colorado require VBAC patients to have a nurse dedicated solely to her, so they had to fit that into scheduling). Despite initial progress (my first exam had me at 4cm), I reverted to 1cm (Yes, that is possible and even normal in stressful situations). My baby moved around so much that she ended up crooked. I was not allowed to move around to try to get her back where she needed to be, or to advance my labour. With no advancement, (and in excruciating pain because I wasn’t allowed to move) I got an epidural. The hope was that my body would relax and my labour could advance. I ended up just shaking uncontrollably. Dr. York decided we needed a C-section. Because she didn’t pass through the birth canal (and had been ‘breathing’ fluid because of the steroid shots), my baby’s lungs were sticking together with each breath. She ended up in NICU for 2 weeks. I was again mocked for my choice of birth control at my postpartum appointment. Dr. York’s internal exams were always rough and painful, he dismissed my concerns and forced treatments on me (I’m allergic to antibiotics, but was given them during labour- THERE ARE ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS that don’t require antibiotics for mother or baby!!!). All in all, I regret not returning to my midwife or at least a female OB-GYN. Birthing is women’s business.

Attended a visit with my niece. Nurse, very friendly and upbeat. Dr. York asked questions that had been asked previously by his nurse , hence indicating he did not refer to her chart notes. Thyroid issues went..., untreated. Blood work not followed through on. Anemia noticed by family practice doctor , based on blood work done by this practice. Delivery ...... perfect...... Baby......perfect!!!!! Peace of mind during pregnancy...... not so much

I love Dr. York. I have been seeing him since my first pregnancy in 2012. I've always made an effort to choose female OBGYNs but some online reviews recommended him as being progressive, so I thought I'd try him out. He is so calm and laid back, kind and reassuring. His staff is equally kind and comforting and relaxed. You feel welcomed and at ease. He listens, he keeps an open mind. 1 piece of feedback, however, his time management is horrible. Wait times can be astronomical, and that can be really frustrating if you're on schedule that day. It's a single doctor practice, so he doesn't have anyone to share the workload. But when I was in labor, he was easily reached on his cellphone for advice and was in the delivery room right on time. I did not enjoy my experience at Memorial North, so I wish he was affiliated elsewhere, but it's not his fault the mother/baby ward was understaffed.

This place was remarkable- from the receptionist who made my appointment, to the intake nurse, to the obgyn, to the lady who took my blood, all the way to my exit when I had set up a future appointment. EVERYONE. WAS. AWESOME. I felt comfortable in there. They care and it shows. I recommend this place to any female who wants a clean and caring environment to feel comfortable about your female health concerns. Thank you again you all are wonderful human beings!! ~LJJ

I have been a patient here for about 2 years. Dr. York and his staff are always so kind, caring and helpful. Dr. York delivered my first child in April. I had some complications during delivery and had to have a c-section and he comforted my husband while the Anesthesiologist put me under (spinal fusion made it too risky for an epidural). When I saw him for my 6 week post partum check up he was excited to see my baby boy. Everyone remembers us every time we come in. Best OBGYN office in Colorado Springs!

I have been a patient of Dr. York's throughout my entire pregnancy and postpartum period and I will continue to see him for all of my OBGYN needs in the future! I felt his support providers were PHENOMENAL, especially Erin and Nicole. I was able to get to know them by name throughout my pregnancy and they always took time with me and never rushed me. They were both great about returning my phone calls and I never felt neglected in my care. Dr. York himself is very personable and direct, which I appreciate. I always felt I was getting an honest and practical answer from him with questions. I never doubted his level of care. I loved that I saw him for all but I think one of my OB appts when I saw Jennifer. I felt he really got to understand me and my situation. I had a C Section and he did a great job from what I can tell as I'm not a medical professional- my recovery was excellent, my incision has had no issues and my scar will be quite small. I would highly suggest this practice. My ONLY criticism is one of their great assistants went on maternity leave and the lady who replaced her seems a bit ditzy, but she was just starting.

Dr. York and his staff are simply amazing! They got me into the office quickly and had me scheduled for surgery the following week. I have never worked with an office that provided such excellent customer service! Everyone in the office was very professional and I can say that everyone I specifically worked with went out of their way to make sure my needs were met. Thank you so much Dr. York and thank you to your staff as well!

North Springs OB/GYN is absolutely amazing! The staff is very caring and I have found great comfort in them after a very traumatic post partum recovery. I have seen them weekly for many weeks and continue to do so as I'm only 4 weeks post partum. I spent hours trying to find what practice I wanted to go to when I first found out I was pregnant and I'm so thankful I found Dr York and his staff! Thank you North Springs OB/GYN for such great care!

Me and my fiancé are very disappointed with our one, and only interaction with north springs. So after being told by office staff that if your new patient paper work was pre filled out, you did not have to be 15 minutes early to your appointment. Well after accidentally going to the wrong building, which was right across the street, we arrived to our appointment 2 minutes late. Our answer from the office staff was that we had to reschedule, because we were 17 minutes late on their records. So there seems to be a huge lack of communication in this office. Glad we caught this now as we will not be using north springs for anything in the future.

I have been cared for by both Doctor York and Ziegler at this location for my general women's checkups. Not only do both doctors answer any question with professional ease, both know how to make a very uncomfortable situation feel more routine. As if the doctors weren't amazing enough, the staff working the front desks and all other positions are also the most helpful people. Any email or call I have made has ended with all my concerns, questions, or needs being met. Every billing issue I have encountered has been from my own lack of understanding my insurance. If you are looking for a reliable and helpful OB/GYN I would strongly suggest this facility, well at least for the GYN.

Best doctor in town! Staff is very friendly and truly cares. You can tell they take pride in their work. Thank you so much Dr. York and staff!

I couldn't say any more positive things about Dr. York and his staff. He is a wonderful, knowledgeable and kind doctor who never leaves a question unanswered. I live 45 minutes from his office and am currently expecting a baby within a couple weeks. I am happy to make the drive every week to see him for my checkups. I find it very admirable that he makes it to over 90% of his deliverys and is almost always available for my appointments. When he is not, his PA, Jennifer, is wonderful as well. Between the two of them you are always well taken care of. The staff and nurses are always nice and welcoming too. Every time I'm there I have my 2.5 year old son with me and they treat him just as kind. I am looking forward to the birth of my baby, not only for obvious reasons but also because I know I'll be in great hands with Dr York.

Dr. York and his staff are amazing. He delivered both my babies. And I will never go to another obgyn.

Dr. York is by far the most caring, attentive doctor I've seen. Always willing to go the extra mile for their patients, he and his staff are always friendly, helpful, and incredibly sensitive. Dr. York is incredibly patient and informative, and has never once made me feel like I was wasting his time or asking a silly question. His office is very busy, so you can expect a wait time when you go to visit, but I can assure you, they're worth it!

Was harassed repeatedly at my second appointment by the nurse and by Dr. York regarding my intentions after a previous homebirth. Had left peacefully, or so I thought, after my first child to have a homebirth. Returned with baby #3 because circumstances had changed and we were needing a hospital birth again. Dr. York was rude and short with me, asking why I chose to return to his office when I was "permanently deleted from their files for having a homebirth." He continuously mentioned "other provider" and "somewhere else" when referring to future appointments. He made a nonchalant remark that the baby could have a severe medical condition, which was never explained to me, and that I should "get checked out wherever I decide to go." Because of this treatment, we decided to move to another provider. Today a new provider practically refused service to me while verbally harrassing me with fabricated stories from Dr. York's office. I am left to wonder if I will be able to find an office in Colorado Springs that Dr. York won't taint with his personal vendetta against my family.

Updated response: NO, I switched providers AFTER Dr York said he would not provide proof of condition or a letter of medical necessity. I got a second opinion when I was perscribed Lupron because of the intense effects it can have on the body which upset Dr York for some reason. The other office got the drug approved NO PROBLEM with no additional procedures or steps on my part, proving even further that your office was not sending the correct info. This is a standard drug and your staff did NOT go above and beyond. No one should have been in tears over getting this drug approved, that’s absolutely ridiculous. I wish I could give this office 0 stars. I first saw Christian York for endometriosis a few months ago. As he put it “he’s very blunt” but I found that he is just lacking in tact. He made me feel defensive at our first appointment and that he didn’t believe me when I talked about the pain I’ve been experiencing. He NEVER examined me himself. I was given an ultrasound that determined I had fibroids and cysts, but the primary concern was endometriosis. Dr York perscribed me a drug called Depot Lupron. I was horrified when I went to pick up my medication and was told I would have to pay $4300 because it was denied by my insurance. They sent my medication to a Walgreens pharmacy that doesn’t process specialty medication, which was my first red flag. I waited almost a month while his office staff continuously submitted the paperwork incorrectly/gave me misinformation and we made NO progress. After about a month of them not providing the correct codes/paperwork to my insurance provider they brought me in for another appointment to “discuss my options” implying that there was no way my insurance would cover this medication. I was told by my insurance that I needed a letter of medical necessity (which is a standard form at most offices, not a real letter) and proof of condition. Dr York told me “It’s not my job to jump through hoops with your insurance. I’m a Dr, I don’t write letters. I’m not going to waste 20 mins of my time”. I immediately switched provides. My new doctor got the Lupron approved IN ONE WEEK. No issues at ALL and I have a $0 copay! They also discovered I had a bacterial infection that Dr York didn’t diagnose because he never examined me. Dr Christian York doesn’t care about you as a patient. His office is not skilled at getting specialty medication approved. AND it took them over two weeks to provide my records to my new physician. I asked if I could pick them up in person (a week after signing the release forms) and was told “the office has too high of a patient volume for that”. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Forget the negative comments! Dr. York and the North Springs OB/GYN family is amazing!! Dr. York has helped me through a loss of a baby as well as corrective surgery needed to become pregnant to my prenatal care and delivery. I have never had a problem with his office or staff. They are willing to work with your schedule, they are kind and caring for you. You're not just another patient. They all care about you and what's going on in your pregnancy! Dr. York delivered my first child and will be delivering all of my children! I recommend Dr. York to anybody who wants a caring doctor and staff. You will not be disappointed!!

Dr. York came highly recommended. I was not as impressed as I though I'd be. The postpartum appointment was a waste of time as he barely checked on me. I had a lot of unanswered questions. The billing policy is the most ridiculous part. They wanted me to pay my entire deductible up front - before I delivered my baby! What!?!? You want me to pre-pay you for a service you haven't even provided yet? I called my health insurance company to see if they can even do that. They said they can but really don't like to see it. Yea- me either! And then, surprise, surprise. He wasn't even the one to deliver my baby. UPDATE: Changing from a 1-star to a 2-star. Dr. York reached out to me after this review apologizing for not meeting my expectations. I should add that I transferred to their care late in my pregnancy and Dr. York made me feel very comfortable about doing that. I appreciate Dr. York reaching out, however, all of my previous comments stand. Also, according to their follow-up they've made the billing issue more flexible. I can't verify that because I'm not going there any more but that's what they've said.

I must say I am truly impressed with this office. After expressing my discontent with wait times, I received a very personalized and sincere follow up email from the staff. While I cannot comment on wait times this time around, I am truly impressed that a Dr and his staff care so much about their patients. I have never received an email follow up like that and truly appreciated it. This is clearly an office that cares about their patients happiness.

Dr. York and Nurse Amy were WONDERFUL. I had an amazing experience here and refer all my friends!

How can I say thank you? i know my words are not enough. I must truly emphasize how professional, caring and precise Dr York and His staff are. I was pregnant with baby number 8 and Dr York was amazing with my care with my delivery Aug 1st and 6 weeks later with my hysterectomy, He has ALWAYS answered all my questions, If i didn't understand something he would explain it in more detail, Patient Doctor relation ship is big to me and he met all my expectations. I should of started going to him when i had my first baby.... Thank you Doctor York and staff.... Sorry i won't be having anymore babies for you to deliver but i got my life back with my children and i thank you for it! KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!!!

I have been going to see Dr. York and his staff since 2010. He was amazing with my 1st pregnancy and was great with all my yearly visits. He makes me and my husband feel comfortable. Dr. York also kept us well educated on everything since I was a high risk. I had my 2nd child last year and I was a little bummed because she came while Dr. York was out of town, the on call was a great Doctor, but I had a easier time healing with my 1st. But Dr. York was right there to help me with pain after. He has also helped with my PCOS and weight loss. I have recommended him to many of my friends, I believe now 3 of my friends have had their babies delivered by Dr. York. People will say what they want because they are upset about one thing. Dr. York and Staff THANK YOU!

North Springs OBGYN is absolutely AMAZING!!! My husband and I have been struggling with infertility for 6 years. We tried IVF 4 times and 3 of the tries were unsuccessful. We decided to give IUI a try at North Springs OBGYN because we had heard good reviews. Physician Assistant Jennifer Ziegler took us under her wing and because of her dedication, passion, and hard work we are currently pregnant! She truly has a gift in the medical field. If you choose North Springs OBGYN I can assure you that you won't be disappointed.

I'm very grateful for Dr. York and his staff. I have been coming here for over 4 years, and they are always good about reminding me of my yearly exams. If it wasn't for that we may not have caught something before it became a really big deal. I know I am in good hands coming here, and it is a bonus that his staff is always so friendly. I feel cared about more than just a patient, and feel very blessed to have found him.

I'm very upset with this place. I had 3 appts total here and each appt I waited 15-20 minutes passed my appt time to be brought back, and then an additional 45-60 minutes to actually see the dr. When I did finally see the dr he was very quick and kind of rude. At my third appt I waited 56 minutes for him to come and see me, and did my ultrasound for 2 minutes and didnt give me a chance to record my babies heartbeat, which was very upsetting to me. He then said they were going to draw my blood so I'd have to wait for that, and at that point I asked why they didnt do that the whole hour I was waiting for him, and they had nothing to say. So I said I might have another office do it at this point, and the dr got very upset and said great were terminating care as of now, and stormed out of the room. They then deleted my patient portal after 10 minutes. Which is surprising to me that they couldn't even see me at my scheduled appt time every time I went in. But they had time to do that. Not to mention, everytime I went in they forgot I had a latex allergy.

I was referred to this location after my PCM suggested that ablation was a good option for me. I came in for an incisor consultation in which Dr. York was very patient with my very active 3 year old. He gave me a pelvic exam and explained everything I needed to know about the procedure. I came in for an ultrasound and blood work before getting the green light for the ablation. I was put in the books and sedatives I needed to take before the procedure were sent to my pharmacy. I took them as prescribed, and headed to my appointment. The ablation itself was very very painful but quick about 60-90 seconds. I went home and rested. I took the pain medicine as directed but unfortunately it did not work, I got in touch with the office and Dr. York called me back to let me know what I could take and how I was doing. Overall I've had pretty great experience and will continue being seen here.
