I have keratoconus. A condition in which the clear tissue on the front of the eye (cornea) bulges outward. It eventually leads to blindness. The first time I met Dr. Taravella he was very smart and compassionate and assured me he'd contact me by the end of the week to help me. It's been over three months and I haven't heard a word from him. I've sent him 4 messages through his secretaries, because you can't directly speak with him and he still hasn't responded to me. Each time I'm assured a response back. This condition is seriously affecting my life. It's very dangerous for me to drive at night, I can't see the board in class, and I can't recognize people's faces. I just want somebody to help me with this because I'm scared and want to get my life back.
