Dr. Levine seemed ready to prescribe me a medication that can be very harmful to people with depression despite the fact that I marked that on my patient intake form. I recommend going elsewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr. Levine for many years. I initially went to him because two other dermatologists in Boulder were not able to cure an embarrassing skin problem I had, even after many years and trying multiple treatment regimens. Dr. Levine solved my problem on my first visit to him! Since then, he has treated me for multiple minor skin problems - always successfully and to my satisfaction. He listens to my needs, and treats my issues appropriately. His personality may not be right for everyone, but I get along with him just fine and appreciate his professional skill.

I have really been impressed with Dr. Levine and his staff. They have solved all my dermatological problems. They can always fit me in on short notice when I have a cystic acne flare up. The acne facials I've gotten with Ashley have resolved my skin issues. The staff is so sweet and helpful and Dr. Levine is so smart. I came in for a strange rash on my shins and he asked if I had been sick. I told him I had felt unwell over the weekend. He totally knew the rash was a side effect of an infection. I was very impressed.

My experience was likewise pretty terrible. I'm presently in a financial dispute with them. I have United Healthcare UMR insurance and checked with the front desk person and my insurance in advance that this would be covered. I was assured it would cost a $50 copay (for my 15 minute appointment) and was then billed $280 for this time. I have similar feelings to the review before mine. The doctor spent about 5 minutes checking my moles and I have hundreds -- no dermatologist has ever done this so quickly and thoroughly in a decade. I've had multiple removed already and am at-risk, and there was a team of two by his side who had a cold and frank demeanor. Wouldn't go back or recommend. If I am refunded my $220 I will remove this review. THAT ASIDE, I would never go back to this place or recommend it. If not, expect a call from the better business bureau.

I went for a regular physical exam through my regular family physician and he found 3 spots on me and said they are probably melanoma, he then said I can't extract them for about 2 weeks, so have a great weekend. Needless to say, I was basically depressed and worried for an entire week when I decided to seek a second opinion and actually see a dermatologist. I did a search on Google and Mountain View Dermatology came up. It looked like a nice site so I decided to call and ask some questions. Ceci was extremely helpful and very friendly on the phone so I booked an appointment for a full skin review. When I went in I couldn't believe how nice this office was! It also had this vibe that I can't explain but it was very calming (I was nervous!) Ceci checked me in and once again was super friendly. I waited only a few minutes and went in to the room with Dr. Levine. He is a soft spoken man but a great listener. He did the exam and said I have nothing to worry about!!! I trust his judgement far more than a family physicians! He asked if I had any other concerns and we talked about some other skin issues, and he sat and listened to me ramble for a few minutes. I had a great experience, and I received great news! What more could you ask for? :) I will be going in yearly to see Dr. Levine from here on out, it's rare that I have such a great experience at a doctor's office. Great medical service - AWFUL billing service. If you need an itemized receipt (FSA) - you have to go through the CU Billing department, which due to their process will take at least a week and a ton of aggravating follow-up phone calls. If doing anything needing a receipt for - would highly NOT recommend. If for personal/cosmetic reasons - would recommend

I saw Kimberly the PA for Botox. She did an amazing job! She didn’t freeze my forehead like other injectors have done to me but gave me a nice natural look. The office staff was amazing too and just the nicest group and people! Highly recommend!

After 2 years of misdiagnosis I was referred to Dr. Levine. After a biopsy showing basal cell carcinoma DR Levine removed the cancer. A lesion that was 3 mm. had grown to 7. It took many stitches to get all of the cancer, but what a great job. I came out with minimal scarring. And everyone was so kind and supportive, including the doctor, himself. I have found another lesion, very small on my nose again. I will be coming back to this office soon. Thank you for the great job done. It healed nicely and I still feel attractive.

Dr. Levine is great! I saw him while I was visiting Boulder after developing an itchy rash that was driving me crazy. He diagnosed it correctly the first time and the medication he prescribed stopped the itching and got rid of the rash. I had been to another dermatologist on the East Coast who was unable to treat the rash successfully when it first started. Dr. Levine is friendly and calm, which I really like.

After extensive research and numerous discussions with different physicians, I elected to have Mohs Surgery performed on my nose by Dr. Levine and his team. At first I was quite shocked by the dramatic appearance, redness and scarring but after three months, it is almost unrecognizable. This has made me come to understand the importance of early diagnosis and using a professional Dermatologist/Plastic Surgeon like Dr. Levine. I recommend him highly for his thorough explanation of the surgical procedure, post surgical followup and excellent cosmetic outcome.

This "Dr" removed what he called a wart. Was nonchalant about it, did not advise I call back about it and just sent me on my way. I forgot about it totally. Then SIX weeks later I get a call from his office to say that it is squamous cell cancer and to come in to make sure he got it all. He was not apologetic and was, in fact, rude. Do not rely on this hack for skin cancer monitoring. He is incompetent and unpleasant. After reading some of these reviews, I am surprised he is still able to practice.

Waited over an hour to be seen for an appointment I made a month ago. The doctor must've been available because as soon as I asked what's taking so long the assistant went and got him. He came in and whispered sorry for the wait, had to ask him to repeat himself. 3 other people came in with him and he introduced none of them nor told me why they were there, then asked me to remove my shirt even though I already stated I had no skin condition other than my face. This guy was incredibly unprofessional and I won't be returning.

I had a minor surgery done in April, it is now late October and he is still trying to "fix" it. Do not trust for surgical procedures.

I have been seeing Dr. Levine for at least 8 years. He is our go to guy for skin issues. He is a no nonsense guy, straight talk and action when necessary. Does not waste a lot of time on small talk. Diagnoses the issue, and suggests fix, and with go ahead, implements. So far, all the diagnoses and fixes have been correct... which is what I look for in any MD. This guy is not big on small talk. He is a gentle quiet man who knows his business.

Wonderful doctor and team. I had a fabulous experience when visiting Dr.Parris and his team. He is a true medical dermatologist that is very knowledgeable and helpful. He spent his time explaining a new diagnosis to me. He was able to quickly diagnose something that many other lesser experienced doctors could not. It is comforting knowing that he has had many years of experience and was able to diagnose my complicated case on my first visit.

Front desk staff was amazing. HOWEVER, PA Kimberly brushed me off when I was telling her my symptoms and the my skin condition was outside of her scope. She also refused to do a skin scrape test to rule out any conditions. She was very dismissive and not knowledgeable.

I had terrible skin problems and varicose veins. I was referred to Dr. Levine and told he was the best dermatologist in town by my family practice Doctor. He was right. The doctor and staff really treated me like family and did great job on my problems. My skin is clear now and my legs are vein free. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This place has HORRIBLE customer service. Dr Parris just walked into the room without introducing himself and when he came into the room he had two other people with him. One of them being his medical assistant. He didn’t explain why there needed to be 3 people in the room. He was in a rush the entire time. He didn’t say hi or bye. He was in the room for only about 3 minutes. His medical assistant Monique was the absolute worst. She had a really bad attitude. The way she talked to me and asked me questions was with absolute disrespect. As the doctor was asking me questions about my skin she was standing there glaring at me like she wanted to eat me alive. What a miserable human being. I feel sorry for these people because they are obviously unhappy with their life by the way they treat their patients. I am disgusted with the way I was treated. If customer service is important to you and you want to be treated with respect then DO NOT GO HERE!!

I saw Dr. Levine for hand vein treatment in the spring of 2014. He treated me using sclerotherapy injection - reasonable for about $350. Except it didn't work. I got no results. When I went back for the follow-up visit and showed him my hands and told him they did not respond he said "yes they did." Like as if I am blind or something and/or don't remember what the back of my own hands look like! He then suggested he could cut the veins out. I have since gotten effective treatment from a physician in Denver who used foam sclerotherapy. When I asked Dr. Levine about foam sclerotherapy he said it was too strong for hands and only used on the legs.

Currently in the process of filing a complaint with the state licensing board in Colorado (DORA) in response to the billing practices of this outfit and readying a complaint to Medicare. Have made repeated attempts to get an explanation for a billing charge. No response from them, and billing continues.

Unprofessional receptionist/manager named Andrea. This place was much better when Dr. Levine owned and operated it, it's too bad it has been taken over by uncaring people. I had a referral from this Dr. office to go to a different provider and I lost their number so I called in this morning only to be treated terrible by Andrea who claims (with a very bad attitude) they don't ever give referrals (not true). I then asked to speak to an office manager and she says "oh I am the manager" So then I ask to speak to a Dr. or a nurse and she says "no one is here but me" I think they need a new receptionist they are probably losing many clients due to the way Andrea is treating people. I wont go here now simply because they would put someone like that in there for customer service. Doesn't seem like they really care about people at all which is important in the medical field. Horrible.

I was jerked around by two surgeons before I found this location. Not only was the surgeon more timely and serous about his patients but he had a way better schedule than the other two which better accommodated my work and school schedules.

Excellent customer service. My extremely tight schedule is respected. I am greeted immediately upon arrival; taken back to the exam room right away; never have to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment to begin and the same nurse works with me and my doctor each time. They must be keeping me happy, because I have been a patient for perhaps 10 years now, and I cannot say that for most other businesses I use. Dr. Levine works with my medical issues until we get it right, even where he cannot bill for the service. The acne facials are a terrific treatment and fortunately, are covered by my insurance.

Unless you like getting swindled and handing over your hard earned cash to crooks, then this isn't the place for you. I had a growth no larger than the size of a ballpoint pen tip be advised for removal yet the Doc didn't bother to warn me that it would end costing $1500. Total douchebag!
