I had a somewhat good experience during my NP OV. When I walked in, the front desk had mediocre customer service. During my exam, Dr. A and their assistant barely spent any time going over my daily regimen/problems I do everyday to fix my chief complaint. I was the one that had to ask the questions on if I should continue something. The physician mainly talked about the treatment of Retin-A oint or other pricey treatments. My impression of them was that they mainly wanted money and not to feel compassionate about their patients.

I would highly recommend Dr. Mahlberg at Colorado Center for Dermatology to give you the best care and advice for your skin! During my cosmetic consultation yesterday he was incredibly thorough and was able to help me make improvements on my skin right away. I am looking forward to going back to try other treatments that he recommended that I hadn't heard about from other dermatologists. His staff was also very friendly and informative. From the front office staff, through the nurses and to Dr Mahlberg, I've never felt that level of compassion from a medical office. They never seem rushed or impatient, like they can devote all attention and energy to you as a patient. And all of my appointments have been on-time and efficient, but without feeling rushed at all. I've witnessed the front office staff go above and beyond for people who had mistaken their office for the one they were looking for. Rather than send them on their way, they really listened, googled potential offices, called an office to inquire if they were expecting these people, and then gave them the address. I was blown away. Really impressed from beginning to end here.

Because of all the things that can cause skin disorders , dermatology is in my opinion , one of the most difficult . These guys are the best, they work together so you always feel like you get a second opinion . Two other prominent groups failed me before I was lucky enough to find them. My only reservation in recommending then is that I hate to let the secret out and make it harder to schedule myself.

Was able to get my husband in quickly. Husband really liked the doctor. Dr. Alkousakis Is diagnosing my husband with a completely different diagnosis then been given for the last 24-ish years elsewhere!! Finally feeling hopeful! Helped set up an appointment for my husband to get other medical testing done with a different type of doctor. The staff went above and beyond being super friendly and helping even do things that no other doctors office has even thought of doing that was awesome! Talk about an A+ all the way around so far! Other offices should definitely learn from them.

All of the staff members are kind and welcoming, as is Dr Mahlberg. He put my mind at ease about my Mohs surgery, and 3 weeks later and I’m healing really well thanks to his skill. I’m grateful for the personalized treatment that I’ve received with them, and glad that I made the decision to switch to his practice.

I have multiple skin conditions, and recently developed a harmless, but unsightly, skin disease that affected me emotionally, mentally, and physically. I tried to get help from several doctors including my dermatologist of 25 years. Labs pointed to the diagnosis, but not the cause. Still, no one knew how to treat me. I was referred to Dr. Alkousakis and he began to treat me immediately. We discussed various options for further treatments and he would ALWAYS include me in the decision-making process. I have been seeing him for over a year now. After the initial diagnosis I never thought my skin would look good again, but it does, and I'm so relieved. I'm still being treated, but no longer embarrassed to be seen in public. I don't know what I would have done without Dr. Alkousakis, honestly. I cannot recommend him enough. He's done for me what others could not, and I am very grateful.

The front desk staff is so friendly and efficient. I had a great appointment with Dr. Caufield - she made me feel comfortable and kept the conversation going while she did a head-to-toe skin check. She was very thorough and talked me through specific details to look for when assessing what's normal and what's potentially pre-cancerous - even pointing out specific examples on my skin to highlight all the different variations on normal. By far one of the most pleasant medical appointments I've had.

I recently switched from another Dermatologist to Dr.Alkousakis. He was highly recommended by my primary care doc. I had some skin problems that had been a problem for several years. My other doctor prescribed a number of topical meds and nothing ever cleared it up totally. It has cleared up after the meds Dr A prescribed! He is very personable and kind. A bonus is that the office staff is so friendly and helpful. It was a very personal experience as opposed to just feeling like a number at the other office.

He is very up to date and knowledgeable while being humble enough to freely say when he does not the know the answer to the problem - which happens to the best about 10% of the time. He spares no time in researching anything that puzzles him and always contacts me to let me know the answer. My wife also holds him in equal regard - and she is not from healthcare. Only suggestions: Please only contact once for a reminder about appointments and shorten your phone tree, voicemail, and written messages - they are overzealous.

Dr Mahlberg and his staff are absolutely some of the best in the Denver area. He is extremely competent and very caring and professional. They have always followed up with me in the days following a treatment and are always very caring and respectful of their patients and their patient's time. And I've seen the way Dr. Mahlberg treats the other patients when I am there and I know that he and his staff are this way with their other patients. I know several other doctors that also speak very highly of Dr. Mahlberg, and I have referred several friends and neighbors here and that's the best review you can give really.

His entire staff was extremely professional, answering all of my questions as we proceeded. I now see why this group receives so many positive reviews - it is because they are deserved! From the moment I called for an appointment and heard a pleasant voice on the line, I knew this would be a good experience. I assumed I would have to wait a few days, but instead I was scheduled to be seen the next day! When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by one of the best receptionists I have had the pleasure of meeting. That experience continued all the way, from the assistant, to Dr. Caufield herself. After an exam, I scheduled another appointment to take care of the cyst. Again, very quick scheduling. Upon arriving for my next visit, I was given yet another happy welcome! Not only that, but even as a new client I was already remembered by the staff. This time I had brought a friend who enjoys this stuff, and they were very accomodating to her as well. Everyone seemed very genuine, not just putting on a happy face. We were able to talk, laugh and be real people, all while professionalism was maintained. The excision procedure went well and I felt no pain. In fact, I actually was feeling very relaxed and without a worry throughout. I don't think I can thank them enough for everything! Bottom line is that Dr. Caufield and the ladies here are the best. If you're in need of a Dermatologist, this is definitely the place to go!
