I'm not typically one to review, but this involves my health. I haven't had good experiences here. First experience was fine (just regular check up). The next time I went (just needed antibiotics), I was left waiting for 25 minutes in the empty waiting room with my 2 kids. When I checked in again, the nurse had gone to lunch, and Dr. Pinto gave me a prescription after 3 minutes then sent me home. Not great care, but I didn't think much of it since I don't need to go to the doctor's too often.
The next visit (a couple years later), I went in for a 6 month post-op visit (kidney donation done in a separate location). I was only supposed to have a check up for a few specific things, and the bill was to go to the hospital where I had my operation. I was pressured into getting a vaccine that I was already pretty sure I had received; however, "just to be safe," they gave it to me anyway. I gave them all the payment information they needed along with two phone numbers to call if they had questions.
Four months later, I received a bill saying that payment was 90 days past due. I called and gave them the payment information again. Today I received another bill saying that it was 120 days past due and was being processed for collections. I called and gave them information AGAIN, and all they could say was that I am responsible for the bill if it is not paid. No apologizing, no asking how they can help. Also, it was billed as a "new patient visit age 40-64". I'm 31.
I just can't trust my health to a business as unorganized and nonchalant as this.
