Dr. Bonney has been my doctor for about 14 years and has delivered all 6 of our children who have been born since we moved to this area. Most of my pregnancies have been high risk and I have had early miscarriages. I never feel rushed when we are talking about concerns and I rarely need to wait when I arrive for an appointment. He is excited for us when things are going well and is concerned when things are not going well. He has very professionally and compassionately helped us through the hard times. With his years of education and vast experience, he is very skilled and cautious. We trust Dr. Bonney and his judgement. We are thankful that he has been our doctor over the years and will continue to go to him. I would (and do) recommend him to everyone. -Mrs. Harvey

Visit 1- Went in for a pap, that came back abnormal, when I asked what was going on he told me the name of what he thought it was, I asked "so what exactly does that mean?" He told me to google it, instead of explaining what it was. He then told me "but if I read this and this and such and such that I shouldn't panic." Visit 2- Second pap came back normal told him my husband and I were trying to have children he gave us days to TTC and to come back in 6 months. Visit 3- Regular visit 6 months later told him "we still have not gotten pregnant" he said "see you next time" missed period, took pregnancy tests...came back positive. I called to set up visit number 4 and asked what to expect for my first prenatal visit. The nurse told me that he will give me a pregnancy test and get me started on prenatal vitamins. Visit 4- I went in he immediately did a transvaginal ultrasound which showed that I was measuring at 5 weeks and that all he could see was the gestational sac. When he left the room he told me that I might miscarry or absorb the baby...these comments were 100% reckless considering the fact that I had not taken any blood test whatsoever to even see what my levels were. He orders 2 blood tests 5 days apart. The first test came back the nurse told me my numbers were right where they were supposed to be, I was elated! I Got the call a day later And was given my results back from test number two. I was told by the nurse my numbers went up but she wasn't sure if it was enough (according to everything I had read it said that my numbers were where they were supposed to be for 5 weeks.) I was devastated and confused because it seemed like Dr.Bonney was already hinting at miscarriage, for he second time. Visit 5- Went in and was given yet ANOTHER transvaginal ultrasound which showed I was measuring at 5 weeks and 4 days I was told almost immediately that the pregnancy was not viable. My gestational sac had grown but it was empty (again another thing I read was normal at this point). My husband asked "what are the chances of seeing a heart beat this early?" Dr. Bonney said "very very very high" again contrary to every other thing I have read and contrary to every person I have talked to who has been pregnant. We went into his office he said you will probably miscarry or absorb the baby. And then he told me that we may have to do a D and C. And here we are now records In hand seeking a second opinion... I would like to make this 100% clear as I am a very realistic person. I am aware that my body could miscarry the baby, and I am prepared for that, I even told myself it was always a possibility. With Dr. Bonney he didn't even give me or my baby a chance, before saying my pregnancy wasn't viable. I was offered nothing but insensitivity and rudeness and 0 feedback as to what would happen next, or what I should expect. His attitude and answers were "absolute" he didn't offer to see me in a few weeks to double check for a baby. He dismissed me as someone who had lost the baby from my first visit. I 100% do NOT recommend Dr. Bonney to anyone. You would be better off seeing Dr. Jekel and Mr. Hyde then you would going to him, and my guess is you would be treated with more compassion which is saying a lot. If you are looking for someone who will upset you and make you feel incompetent he's the guy for you. But you have been warned. The one star I'm giving is for the nurse Kim who works with Dr. Bonney, she was kind and compassionate and made me feel at ease before the Doctor came in the room. She apologized when she made a mistake and handled my situation like a true professional should. so Kim if you ever read this review, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so kind.
