Dr. Johnson is a great dermatologist. He takes a good amount of time and fields any questions which is great because I tend to talk a lot and am curious about what is going on. I'd recommend him to take care of any of my family's dermatology needs. Also, he works with another dermatologist who is also great, Dr. Whaley. This is a good group and you won't regret visiting their practice.

First of all, it's so refreshing to show up for a 1pm appointment, and get called in at 1pm! The doctor was prompt in seeing me, and took the time to listen to all my concerns. I felt like they really listened to me, and addressed each concern. They were all so friendly - from the reception team to the nurses to the doctor. I heartily recommend Summit Dermatology!

I just completed my second visit with Dr. Johnson at Summit Dermatology. Today, I had a basal cell carcinoma surgically removed from my right temple. The basal cell carcinoma was discovered during my initial head-to-toe check with Dr. Johnson on my first visit. The removal of the carcinoma was smooth, efficient and complete. The surgery is called MOHS surgery and is a technique to remove not only the surface carcinoma, but all underlying affected areas. Normally, the surgery requires two or three phases to remove it all. Dr. Johnson took care of mine in just one phase. Absolutely no pain at all and recovery will be quick and easy. Dr. Johnson's medical assistant, Lauren, was an integral part of the surgery and was professional and personable. At the front desk, Sherry checked me in and checked me out with perfection. I couldn't have selected a better dermatology clinic. Summit Dermatology is simply the Best of the Springs.
