Really poor communication. I called requesting an emergency appointment do to a severe skin reaction. The receptionist told me she could only schedule me 4-6 weeks out. Not sure if she understands the word Emergency especially since I was referred by a local clinic and doctor.

About Skin Dermatology is the best! I see Dr. Michael Contreras. He is top of his field, expert in all of the latest treatments, and really cares about his patients. You always feel you are in the best of hands. His leadership in the field of dermatology is evident in his bio on the website. Recently, in my late 40s, I lost some weight but my skin didn't bounce back. Dr. Contreras reviewed a broad range of treatment options with me based on my goals. I decided to go for it with a non-surgical CO2 ablative erbium laser treatment, as well as Kybella for my chin(s). :) The results have been amazing. They virtually eliminated all of my fine lines, crows feet, sun spots, wrinkles around my mouth, in my cheeks and forehead, jowls, loose skin in chin & neck. You’d never know I had it done; it looks so natural, which was really important to me. Dr. Contreras gave me the best possible expertise and personal attention and care throughout. Sabrina Saunders, Cosmetic Coordinator, is super knowledgeable and was a great resource and support before, during, and after treatment. She followed up with me every few days to make sure I was feeling good and healing well. Their new offices are beautiful, modern, and provide a calming, almost spa-like environment, with state-of-the-art technology. A top-notch place to receive care. I couldn’t be happier and can’t thank them enough.

while i have no beef with the clinical care their billing practices have been a nightmare to me. First not getting a bill, then getting a bill from collections to paying that off and then three years later getting another notice from collections. i don't think i want to walk through the door again just because nobody can give me a straight answer as to why this is happening and getting the standard 'nothing we can do about it run around'.

Was highly anticipating my appointment with Dr. Cohen. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how skilled of a physician you might be — if you don't have a competent staff backing you, you'll lose your clients before you even meet them.

As someone in the medical management field, I understand that I have high expectations. However, this office was one of the worst I've ever been to. The main issue is that I was scheduled for the wrong type of appointment. Instead of looking at my keratosis pilaris and my acne as I had requested when scheduling, I was scheduled for an unnecessary "skin check". It was COMPLETELY HUMILIATING and UNNECESSARY because I have absolutely no skin cancer concerns. It is absolutely unacceptable for me to have to pay money for your mistake. I consider this FRAUD.

Dr. Jade Fettig and her PA are extremely knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and thorough. I could not be happier with the level of care I received during my visit on Monday. Dr. Fettig removed a questionable lesion from my ankle. Dr. Fettig and her PA made me comfortable, answered all of my questions, performed the medical procedure with minimal pain and did it so quickly it was over before I knew it. Not that you look forward to having a procedure like this, but if you do, this is the place you will want to go to. The reception personnel was friendly and very helpful as well. I will return to Dr. Fettig and AboutSkin for all of my skin care needs.

I can not say enough about this practice. The professionalism and kindness starts the minute you walk in the door and continues during the visit with your physician. I have been seen at this practice for skin checks, botox/dysport, and for laser treatments, most of which were performed by Dr. Contreras. I can not say enough about him. He is very kind and skilled. His thoughtful demeanor and attention to detail did wonders for my skin and also for my self-confidence. I recommend him without hesitation. Dr. Contreras and AboutSkin are amazing and completely worth the visit. That is why I still visit the practice, even while living out of state.

Dr. Stoller is always prompt to appointment times, efficient & respectful of concerns from the patients! I’ve seen her for less than a year but I’ve seen tremendous improvements to my cystic acne. The whole staff is wonderful! DTC location is my preferred location & the environment is wonderful.

Every time I called there is BAD customer service cosmetic line NEVER a life person responding When I leave a message , there is never a call back It took me an hour today to buy a simple product I like dr Ho but I will not be coming back Very frustrating

Dr Cohen performed Mohs surgery on my face on two different occasions. I could not have asked for more professional, caring, experienced and gentle doctor. I myself have been the health profession for 35 plus years and can honestly say that Dr Cohen and his team treat their patients as if they were treating their own family members. I will not visit this office again. I called to schedule a 2nd opinion visit. I asked the front desk what the charge will be for an initial visit - again for a second opinion regarding melanoma. The charge was $166.65 for a 10-minute visit. That is unacceptable and too high. Doctors seem to think they make the decisions. Not in my world. About Skin told me the charge for the surgery I needed would be over $1,300. The surgeon I went to charged $590 plus $110 for path report. The surgeon that did the surgery was recommended by my dermatologist - Castle Rock Dermatology. Dr. Broomer owns Castle Rock Dermatoology and she is a class act. She does not just care about billing insurance carriers. However, Aboutskin Dermatology only want volume of patients and billing. They are rude and unwilling to compromise. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE.

When I had the good fortune to receive a recommendation from a friend to About Skin, I realized the depth of not only the competency of this practice but the on-going experience of being treated as a partner in my health care. I have been treated for a number of skin issues, including multiple skin cancers which have been detected by both Dr. Cohen and Dr. Stoler. This is a practice with highly qualified physicians and a supportive staff. I have no hesitation to endorse this practice and to be confident that you will be in the care of highly trained medical providers who are well versed in evidence-based treatments and who are involved in research which benefits all.

As a new client she took time with me and made me very comfortable. Skin looks great and I will be returning. Certain services you do not want to do at a spa, I recommend this as a great place to try.

I have been going to AboutSkin Dermatology for several years. Dr. Cohen is extremely accomplished and internationally recognized. He has always been very kind and shows true concern for his patients. During a routine visit about 18 months ago, he noticed something unusual. Long story short, I had skin cancer. Specifically, a basil cell carcinoma on the center on my nose. I was amazed that he spotted this, because I had no idea. MOHS surgery was the recommended treatment for me. Upon doing some internet research, I was very scared about potential disfigurement from this surgery. I knew I was in great hands. Dr. Cohen is a world-class surgeon, but he also has an artistic gift. He did a masterful job removing the cancer. I look the same as I did before the surgery. I am very grateful. If you are looking for a full-service dermatology office, I give my highest recommendation to AboutSkin Dermatology. You will like them. They are the best of the best.
