I never review businesses or people; however, if considering this doctor or office please check out other reviews online as they are in line with my experience. They will require your credit card before ever seeing a doctor and they will authorize payments on false services. My experience with Dr. Abarca and Women's Healthcare Associates was very unprofessional. There was a miscommunication between Dr. Abarca and her nurse on appointment timing. Only once there, Dr. Abarca tells me to reschedule the appointment and that nothing would be done today. I was still billed for $148. When calling to inquire what the charges were for (no information on the bill), I was told "Don't worry your insurance will cover this." I asked several times over several weeks what the charges were for, the only response I received was "The doctor still met with you". I asked to speak to a manager and explained I was there under false information and it was an error due to the miscommunication between the nurse and Dr. Abarca. The manager verified that she could see notes made by the nurse in my account and that she would get back to me. After a week, I followup again and I am told, sorry, we are still billing you despite your experience. I asked several times to clear this up with Dr. Abarca directly, she never responded. They continue to bill me.
