I had my annual then I returned to have an IUD placed. I love this office and was very happy. The communication was great and the front desk was quick and efficient. Will return and recommend to all my friends.

Dr. Skorberg and her staff are truly amazing, I had my first app on Feb. 26th and she has done more for me in that single visit than any Dr. did in all the years of trying to control my health issues. She is so caring and listens to her patients, she is there to help and she has done that for me. After years of battling with many heath issues, she validated me and for the first time I felt like a Dr. wanted to truly help.

I see Dr. Grove who is amazing. She’s very patient with my questions and takes her time in explaining our steps of interventions and medications and so on. The medical assistants have all been super helpful and welcoming as well! However, there is one front desk reseptionist who makes me feel incompetent and stupid for asking the questions I do. I am always afraid to call because I feel like I am getting a judgmental lecture from my second grade teacher. As a front desk receptionist myself, I understand the job can be tiring and overwhelming; I constantly receive the same questions all day. Having said that, the medical world can be a confusing one to navigate and although this receptionist may see the same questions everyday, it may be the first time a person is brave enough to ask said question. Being friendly and welcoming is really the main requirement of working at a front desk. I believe we all deserve people who are more than happy to act as a helpful guide when navigating the medical world.

I have worked with Dr. Christine Skorberg and her dedicated staff about how they can continue to provide prompt and personal services in this sluggish and impersonal era of corporate medicine. If you and/or a loved one seek a medical center that treats you like a real person rather than a number, I strongly encourage you to make an appointment at A Woman’s Healing Center.

My sister recommended this office to my wife and I because she had a good experience with both her pregnancies here. We've had 3 appointments so far and each one has been a good experience. Dr. Grove was both professional and personable. She took her time with us and gave insightful and helpful answers to our questions. Midwife Carolyn has been just as good. Very thorough, friendly and professional. I've read different opinions about experiences with the staff. Our experience has been nothing but extremely positive so far though. Our insurance recently changed and Debbie at the front desk was very friendly and helpful while we got it sorted out. Again, so far myself, and much more importantly, my wife, has had a great experience and would absolutely recommend this place.

The communication is poor. I would call with questions and concerns and would not receive a call back even though I was told I would receive a call back. I miscarried and it being my first pregnancy I was very unsure of what to do. The staff did not seem concerned or compassionate. I definitely did not feel the care was as their website stated. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for a place of “healing” or “compassion” because I received neither.

Great docs and great staff! After moving from a big city, finding an independently owned practice with more personalized healthcare is amazing! I’ve also worked in Women’s Health for 11 years and without a doubt would trust any of the physicians with my OB/GYN care. If you are looking for a smaller office that is a much more personal level of healthcare you have arrived!

I went to Dr. Skorberg for Micro Mixto laser. So happy with the results! I love Dr. Skorberg and all her nurses. They are all so down to earth and knowledgeable. thanks for such a great experience! I definitely recommend this office!

The 5 stars are for Dr. Warford. I absolutely love her!!! Very awesome, sympathetic, friendly, helpful, takes the time to answer your questions, helps you meet your goals. Beautiful person inside and out! 4 stars for Dr. Grove. She's good. She answers your questions and takes time to get stuff done that your concerned about. Friendly. 1 star (if I could do -5 I would) for Dr skorberg. I absolutely hate this woman. she just cares about money and on 1 or 2 occasions she actually told me that. She knows a certain thing is better for you but says I'll lose money if it gets done so I'd rather do this because it's more money. Kind of pushy and doesn't listen to what you want. 5 stars for all the nurses. They are awesome. 1 star for the front desk lady. I haven't been in recently but I hope she was replaced. She rolls her eyes and it's like she gets mad if u ask a question and you "put more work" on her. Talks loud etc. Overall though, for Dr. Warford and the awesome nurses I love coming here.

I had a wonderful experience here. I spent majority of my presidency at this clinic and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately I had to get Medicaid and wouldn't be covers due to no New Medicaid patients. And that I moved to far away to go here any longer. But I felt welcomed and felt safe in this environment. I would recommend this place to everyone.!

Very unhappy with the lack of professionalism of the front office staff and Dr. Amy Grove. The petite front office girl consistently rolls her eyes while speaking to patients on the phone, she also gossips about patients and gives our confidential (HIPPA violating) patient information in a loud manner for the waiting area to hear. The girl then went on to yell across the waiting room what I owe on my account and what tests were done to equal the amount. Not information I wanted shared with the world. I brought my issues with the front desk up to Dr. Amy Grove during my appointment where they were blatantly disregarded. My pregnancy questions were also completely disregarded, absolutely no answers were given to any questions I asked. She also contradicted the high risk doctors advice as well as her 2 other OB’s advice. I was not offered NT testing as I asked to have done. Dr. Grove was more concerned about pushing a neural tube defect test rather then spending the 5 minutes of the appointment answering the questions I had come with. Dr. Grove also stated the wrong gestational date then what I was and I continually corrected her. The only hands on she did with me was a 10 second heart beat check, no palpitations or measuring. After talking with the compliance officer for the practice, I was only offered a short apology for there being a HIPPA violation with me as well as a HIPPA violation with another patient. No apology for the behavior of the office staff or Dr. Grove.

Wish I could give 0 stars. When we found out I was pregnant with our 3rd child, I called to schedule the initial appointment. They informed me I would need to have bloodwork drawn and my betas tested to verify the pregnancy. I told the receptionist I had no history of pregnancy loss, nor any difficulty getting pregnant, nothing in my past that would warrant the test. She stated it was merely "standard procedure". Because they came highly recommended by a couple friends, I decided to just play along, and get the bloodwork done. They were kind enough to allow me to get it done at a lab close to my home as I don't live in Ft. Collins. (Though that bloodwork later was found to not be part of my global maternity fee through my insurance, because it was done at a third party, so I had to pay the $50 out of pocket). They called me back a week later to tell me the numbers were low, and I'd need to get a second blood draw done. I informed the woman that of course they were low, as they had had me get my blood drawn the day after I got the positive home pregnancy test. I asked again if they would consider bypassing their standard process to just meet with me and get my history, as I didn't want to pay for another blood draw. She said no, they would not schedule an appointment with me until I had the additional lab work done. I said fine, hung up, and promptly called my midwives 100 miles away and have been driving further to see providers who actually listen and treat their patients as individuals. If a clinic will not budge on their "standard processes" for inprocessing new patients, I had no hope or confidence that they would listen to my desires during birth or throughout the pregnancy. I much prefer my current clinic - even with the distance - where they didn't make me PROVE my pregnancy before they'd even acknowledge me as a person. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect in my life. No doubt had I stuck with this clinic, I would likely not have had an easy time getting the zofran prescription I desired at 6 weeks, and would have probably been pressured into having unnecessary tests throughout my pregnancy. Just ridiculous.

I love the providers; I've had several "services", from surgery to just routine exams. Here's the thing(s): 1. EVERY time I have come here over the last year, I have waited NO LESS than 30 minutes to see a provider. Yes, I see the signs in every exam room that state how they may be tied up in a delivery or giving someone a bad diagnosis. BUT EVERY SINGLE TIME???? It's now become a joke that I can't plan anything or tell my employer when I'll be back after an appointment. This last time was 38 minutes in the waiting room (yes, I used a timer). 2. I have had to literally hound them to follow up on insurance preauthorizations, lab results, and getting insurance/FMLA documents filled out. I work in the medical field, so I know how the process works and it can be insane. However, this office is still using all paper charting, etc. Signed forms go missing, phone messages disappear, and best of all the front desk staff is often really overwhelmed and tend to misplace documents and be really snippy on the phone when I call to check on the progress of things. I even had one of the nurses give me her personal cell phone number to call about getting my insurance and FMLA documents completed after I had to bring a second set because the office staff misplaced the first set. Most recently, I'm still waiting on them almost week later to call for insurance authorization for a breast MRI- I finally called today and they said it was left for the weekend???? I'm pretty nervous about the indications for why this test was ordered, so I'd appreciate some expediency. I am going to have to go somewhere else. As I said previously, the providers are AWESOME. But everything else about this business is lacking. UPDATE: the insurance preauthorization was done and of course the insurance company is being difficult. I am very pleasantly surprised by the nurse at AWHC who is handling this- she has called me daily to give updates, and seems genuinely invested in seeing this through. As I said before- the providers and nurses are awesome; it's the front office that needs to take advantage of modern technology and get rid of all the stacks of paper. No wonder things get lost and it takes them forever to do anything.

I recently moved to the area and found this office to schedule my routine OB/gyn appts. I have returned 2 or 3 times and from the initial appointment to my last the front office just could not get it together. I enjoyed the nurses and doctors but the front is just so inefficient and completely disorganized. On my last appointment, they called and rescheduled it 3 times. They had me down for a later time but it got put in my calendar the wrong time since it had been changed so much from their office. Instead of telling me that I was 40 minutes early they just let me sit and kept telling my that the nurse would be right with me. Then the nurse in the back told me when my appointment was cause I mentioned I had been waiting for 40 min, that was the only time someone actually told me I had the wrong time. I decided to seek care at another location and so far it has been the best decision I could have made

The worst service I have ever received at a clinic. Been going here for many years and Dr Grove is excellent but staff and scheduling are terrible. Tiffany is the rudest individual I have ever dealt with in medical. I’m just trying to get something that is potentially serious looked at and I was treated like I was annoying for continuing to call in to follow up on what is going on (all the while in discomfort) because I wasn’t getting a call back. I ended up in urgent care and will never go here again which is unfortunate because Amy is great. I’m really glad I’m not the only one - as they treated me like I was the problem.. Stay away!!!!!!!!

Courteous staff, efficient doctors, wonderful experience. While I had a bit of a wait, the MA was friendly, quick, and thorough once she called me back, and Dr. Worford was wonderful! Easy to talk to, and made me feel perfectly comfortable in addition to covering everything I wanted to talk about. These ladies really know their stuff, and I'm glad to have found them.

Erika Gelwicks

Had my first visit today. The entire staff was incredible. They are so friendly and down to earth. Dr Worford was so easy to talk to and wasn't the typical yuppy doctor. She explained things so well and really made us feel comfortable. So glad I switched to A Womens Healing Center! My husband and I couldn't be more satisfied.

Mari Wasserburger

I really love Dr. Skorberg. She is so kind and very thorough in her exams. WONDERFUL! However, I couldn't be more disappointed in the office staff... From reading other reviews it sounds like a lot of others would agree with me. I have PCOS and trying to get medication refills is ALWAYS a pain. I dread it. When I call in I'm always treated like an inconvenience or a nag when they have proved time and time again that they are not reliable enough to return your call or simply refill a prescription. I walked out of the office crying last week because I was made to feel like an idiot by an M.A. Definitely would not recommend a friend to this office for that reason. You are a number to the staff.

If you value your health, time and credit do NOT go here. They not only were very unfriendly, unable to diagnose a pretty common issue, but also sent me to collections weeks after I had paid them. I went here as a young female in a lot of pain. This was my first visit, and I was matched up with Dr. Amy Grove. She was not friendly in the slightest and not very gentle either. I informed her of my symptoms and had to ask her to run lab tests because it didn't seem like she was going to otherwise. I was told I would receive a phone call when my results were back and to reschedule an appointment then, but when they called, they told me everything was alright and not to bother with the secondary appointment. At this point I was in a lot of pain and decided to go elsewhere. I went to a real doctor and he had me pee in a cup and told me immediately what was wrong. It took 5 minutes. About a month later, I received a bill from A Women's Healing Center. This company was in my insurance network, and when I didn't have to pay anything up front I thought OB/GYN services were covered by my insurance and could leave it at that. The doctor visit itself was covered by my insurance as were the lab tests, but the "New Client Fee" was not. It was a new client fee of $151. Since this office hadn't helped me in any way I was annoyed that I'd have to pay them out of pocket and that amount. I disputed the charge with my insurance, and ended up having to pay the bill, which I begrudgingly did. Forward to 2 years later when I filled for a credit report only to see a collection agency on there that I had never been contacted by with the original charge from "A Woman's Healing Center." I filled a dispute with the credit agency saying this is completely wrong and I still had the receipt from A Woman's Healing Center with the date I had paid them, which was well before the date they sent me to claims. I went to the Healing Center to ask what was going on and they refused to admit any error on their part. Besides that, the receptionists were actually helpful. I showed them the receipt saying I had paid them and they faxed it to the collections agency, but said they couldn't help me further. I then had to go the collection agency to again show them the receipt and they informed me they had contacted A Woman's Healing Center months ago on my case and had not gotten a response until about 10 minutes before I had shown up, which makes sense since I had been at A Woman's Healing Center just 15 minutes before. This headache has finally been taken care of, but honestly, don't ever go here. The entire situation was a nightmare.

My appointment was for 8 am and they told me to be there at 7:45. I get there and only one person is there and said they are not open until 8:30 today. My doctor had a csection scheduled and nobody informed me or called me to come in later. I stayed and I didn’t get seen until 9:30. At 9:30 the doctor comes in and says I am two weeks early for my physical and cannot be seen today due to insurance billing and she apologized and said the nursing staff should have told me. Extremely frustrating and the nursing staff is atrocious and clueless on how to treat a patient. I will never go back.

Keith Brauneis

I don't want to go into details but I would recommend going somewhere else. We were highly disappointed.

Michele Falzone

Christine is an excellent OBGYN and I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for personalized genuine care.

K Homme

I have been seeing Christine for years. Very professional, she knows her stuff and her staff is amazing.

As an individual in the medical field, I was horrified at the lack of professionalism and complete disrespect I experienced at A Woman's Healing Center. I was a patient there for one year before transferring to a different clinic. Dr. Skorberg and Dr. Worford were empathetic and good listeners, though Dr. Grove seemed completely apathetic and never returned any of my phone calls. Horrible bedside manner, and the individuals working at the front desk loudly have personal conversations within earshot of the waiting room.

I was a patient at the Woman's Healing Center for a year-and-a-half. Dr. Grove was wonderful as my primary ObGyn and expertly saw me through a miscarriage, specialist referral, and regular checkups with my second pregnancy. She always listened, never made me feel rushed, and always gave thoughtful answers to my questions. When I got pregnant again, I began to rotate through the other doctors in the clinic in order to meet everyone that might be on call for my delivery. The first time I met Dr. Skorberg, she was an hour late, talked over me, and was very rushed. I chalked it up to a fluke considering what wonderful care I had received so far. (And I know that sometimes being late is out of your control.) The second time, she urged me to get my 20-week ultrasound from a (more expensive) specialist solely based on my age - 35. I had to really push to have my ultrasound done at the WHC with the front desk since Dr. Skorberg had made this recommendation. (My ultrasound showed perfectly normal results.) But the third visit was when the red flags really added up for me. Both Dr. Grove and Dr. Dwyer had expressed support for my desire to labor in different positions, and resist as much intervention as possible. When I let Dr. Skorberg know my hope for a natural birth, her first response was, "Most people with rigid birth plans end up with C-Sections." (I had just let her know I did not intend to have a rigid birth plan.) Then when I told her I simply wanted to feel free to move around, she said "What do all mammals do when they're in pain? They lie down," brushing aside my comments and never expressing support for my request. After a lot of reflection, I decided to switch care to a different clinic at the beginning of my third trimester. In the new clinic, and in my birthing classes at PVH, I have found nothing but support for my desire to have a delivery that is as intervention free as possible, and have been confirmed that laboring in multiple positions is backed by the most current research. I was really bummed to leave the care of Dr. Grove as I had nothing but positive experiences with her. Right after I switched care, I learned that two friends of mine had also had negative experiences with Dr. Skorberg making brusque comments about their questions and souring their experience on the Woman's Healing Center. I'm hopeful my comments might be taken to heart and not be brushed off.

Angela Lange

Everytime I have to call because of an issue I am having, and leave a message with them, the nurses get back to me in the same day. Dr. Skorberg and Dr. Worford are always more than willing to help and were amazing in delivering my son. The nurses are amazing and so kind too. I just can't say enough wonderful things about them. They care so much about their patients and it's so refreshing to see and experience.

Sandra Bushnell

Only giving a one star because there is no option for 0 stars. I was on a treatment that Dr. Grove assigned me, and the staff cancelled the prescription I needed because I was in a different city for the holidays with my family. I was called a week previous and asked if I wanted to renew that particular prescription and I said yes. Absolutely disgusted and I wasted about $300 dollars here. Do not go here if you have a 6-month long medication and expect to receive the entire 6 months worth. Pathetic

This clinic is horrible, from the office staff, to the nurses, to the doctors. If you value your health and well being, do not set foot in here. I had the WORST experience!! In particular with Dr. Skorberg. She is completely incompetent. I am a nurse and I would never treat patients how I was treated. They should not be providing care to anyone. If I could give a negative star review, I would. Fast forward about 2 hours. Well isn't this something. I get a call from a private number and answer the phone. Guess who it is? Dr. Skorberg herself!. I promptly hung up. I have no desire to talk to this woman who never returned my calls when I needed her to. And never followed up with me or my insurance when the insurance denied the hysterectomy that I so needed. I was in the most excruciating pain for a prolonged period. She was to do a peer to peer with the insurance to attempt to get approval, which NEVER happened! So, there I was dealing with the worst pain I have ever experienced and she could care less. Called the office multiple times asking to speak to her directly. NO RESPONSE EVER. Finally, made an appointment with a different provider. Told them my entire story. The hysterectomy that I needed was done in approximately 2 weeks after I walked in their door. And get this, around 6 months later, I get a call from some random pharmacy saying that my doctor (Dr. Skorberg), submitted a prescription for a medication (one we had discussed when I was still seeing her 6-8 months before) and it was approved and ready for pick up!! WHAT THE HELL! I am still in disbelief . This all happened about a year and a half ago. But I am still so bothered by it, which prompted me to leave this review. You should not have a medical license Dr. Skorberg. I will never forget the "pelvic exam" you gave me in the hospital when I was admitted for the horrible pain I was in. How is one to feel anything up there when you insert a finger up the vagina for what was like 1 second while I am sitting up in bed ? Just so you can charge for a "pelvic exam " and get paid for it, which was out if pocket at that time. Sometimes I feel like you should be reported to the medical board!! I should report you to the medical board All of the responses I see on here are lame. It's obvious that nothing is being done to improve. SO WOMEN, DO NOT GO HERE!!! I did not APPARENTLY have a negative experience. Of course you would say that. I don't care what the chart says, because I KNOW what happened. And I know you will attempt to hide what happened. Good luck with that.

Jamie S.

Great experience with Dr. Worford. Staff was always professional and friendly.

Beth Crandell

I highly recommend!!! They helped deliver my child! Everyone was amazing!!! My husband and I met all 3 doctors during my pregnancy. My appointments went very smoothly. I felt they were on top of checking my progress every step of the way (vitals, etc). My labor is definitely a unique experience. I was not in horrible pain and therefore, i was walking and talking and laughing until I was at least 8 or 9 cm. Unfortunately, they did not make it in time for the "actual" birth of my child (once my h2o broke, she was born in 9 minutes). Though, they came to finish up everything. Two doctors actually showed up. They checked on me the next day, and then we had my follow up appoitments.

Nicole Garcia

The staff is rude and the office still paper charts. Very outdated medical office. There are so many OB GYN’s in Fort Collins. This is not an office I would refer and I work in the medical field.

Cassandra Theisen

I am so bothered by this office that I am willing to share some extremely personal information out on the world wide web, so that maybe even just one other woman will avoid coming here. I came here as a referred patient for a LEEP procedure. The local anesthetic did not work, and I felt EVERYTHING during the procedure. To date, this was the worst experience of my entire life, the worst pain I have ever felt. The person who brought me to my appointment heard me screaming from the waiting room. I do not understand how I could not be properly numbed for a common procedure. After my procedure it took months to get biopsy results. I called numerous times, most of the time waiting on hold for 15+ minutes only to be disconnected (hung up on) and even came to the office in person, and was told once that my file could not be located. All of the poor communication was chalked up to new employees (front staff) still going through training. In my opinion, taking 2 months to get someone their biopsy results is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Do they not consider the stress their patients experience during this waiting period? Fast forward to my 6 month checkup where another sample was taken to send to the lab, and again, I waited for eternity for results. I finally decided to write a letter through their website's complaint link letting the office manager know about my poor experiences. I was never once contacted. I did however receive a nasty letter when my annual was due, literally stating "It is possible your cervical problem could represent cancer, which could result in the need for a hysterectomy, and if not treated could result in death." Really? Is this an attempt to scare me into making an appointment? Clearly, my complaint letter that stated I would never come back was never even read. I will say that Dr. Grove was pleasant to work with. But the communication from this office is horrifying. Beware. **UPDATE** After the response I got for this review, i called the office and left a voicemail for the office manager to call me to discuss why my pain was not written in my chart. That was April 12, I have not been called or contacted at all. Wish I could take away the one required star from this review as I am now even more upset.

Cheryl Trine

Dr. Skorberg is immensely caring and competent. She went the extra mile for me always to take care of my health. She is the only physician to figure out what I needed, and to take the time to advise me. When I am at her office, I feel nurtured and loved. She is a joy.

Autumn Stroble

Horribly and unnecessarily rude and unhelpful front desk person. They seriously need to get someone else in that position.

Gaines Chelsea

I have used A Woman’s healing center for 8 years. In that time frame the care I’ve received has been nothing short of excellent. They have helped safely deliver my children, one being an emergency c-section, and one being a VBAC. They have provided continuing care for post-birth complications, yearly check-ups, and general care for illnesses while breastfeeding. All of the staff are highly educated, safe and welcoming. Billing is easy to work with, it’s easy to get an appointment, and everyone is friendly. I drive over an hour to receive care here, and wouldn’t feel this comfortable anywhere else.

Diana Berger

if there was a 0 star option i would select it. I was referred to this clinic by 2 friends who said the doctors are wonderful. I called and made an appointment as a new patient told them all my general info and everything was good to go. I get a reminder call for my appointment all is normal see you tomorrow etc... I show up early fill out the paperwork with insurance info and then hand it in.. upon which i am informed they need to collect 5-10 dollars from me for the visit (even though i have 0 copay per my insurance card) i ask why.. since I've never heard of this, and the answer is something along the lines of since you are a new patient and you aren't established and we assume you work off a deductible we don't know if you hit that deductible yet so we need to collect something and you will be reimbursed by insurance if its not needed.. Well i was not happy, i made the appointment a month ago and no one told me about a payment, you call to remind me and don't mention the payment.. THEN i ask if i can give her a dollar because this seems ridiculous, and she needs to text her office manager to see what the minimum she can collect is.. so i wait. Call me up and tell me .. well actually you have to pay in full for the appointment for the same reasons that are illogical. So now my 5-10$ goes to 260$ + since she wasn't really sure what it would cost because i hadn't had the appointment yet. AND AGAIN... no one ever mentioned this in scheduling, or the call back that there was even a possibility of a payment. I do not recommend them at all maybe the doctors are wonderful, but you cant see them as a new person unless you front the visit price the first time.. waste of time.

Deborah Armes

Dr. Skorberg has been my Dr. for 10 years! She is wonderful! The staff all work hard to accommodate patient appointments same day when possible. This is the office that I have referred friends and family to for years and will continue to do so. The office is a small independently owned practice which is so much better than being a number to the hospital owned practices. The Dr's listen to you and help you get well and stay well .

Kaylee Cambers

I should have taken the advice of other reviews and avoided this place - I’m disgusted by the service I’ve received at this clinic. The staff is extremely rude and unorganized, and they never return your phone calls. I’ve left 3 messages for a return call from them over the last 3 weeks since my appointment, and when I finally spoke to the MA, she claimed she never got them, which is a flat out lie. She was extremely rude and condescending, and refused to look into an issue Dr. Grove promised would be taken care of. Dr. Grove even told me “if you don’t hear back in about a week, call to check up on the status”. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone that values their time or respect from another human being. It’s really sad how difficult it is to find decent healthcare anymore, and this clinic is a sad example of just that.

Shanonn Harpe

The doctors and staff at this practice are so friendly and helpful. After spending many years (and dollars) at another facility, I'm very happy to be switching my primary gyn care to these ladies.

Amanda Sego

I absolutely love Dr. Skorberg and her staff!! The others doctors in the practice are just as amazing! Thanks so much for listening to me when other doctors wouldn't! Thank you for answering any questions and addressing my concerns with both pregnancies. I truly wish I had a general practitioner that was amazing like you all.

Shelby Ferchak

Entire staff, from front desk to the nurse who took my blood, were unfriendly and insensitive, most especially towards delicate issues. Also, had results days before they actually called me. If you care about your health and yourself as a woman, find another place to go!

Katherine Hinckley

I picked A Woman's Healing Center with some skepticism because of reviews and I thought the name was strange. But I attended one appointment with Women's clinic of Northern Colorado and hated it. So, I gave this place a shot. I believe I have found a practice that I will use consistently. I went there for prenatal care for my entire pregnancy and Dr. Skorberg delivered my baby. All 3 of these women were wonderful about answering questions and informing me. It was also great to know that I had met all of them so I would be comfortable no matter who was on-call when my baby arrived. Appointments went smoothly and were usually on time and quick. So far, I've had a great experience here.

Stina Willemssen

Having been a patient for over 10 years, I always feel that the physicians here courteous, kind, and respectful. They're great at making sure my questions get answered and making sure that they're looking out for me. Dr. Skorberg and her office always leave me feeling like I'm under the best care!

Britt Roberson

Consistently poor customer service from front desk staff. When I had to call with questions, I received curt answers, and the person who returned the call sounded irritated with me every time. This left me feeling too uncomfortable to call with questions- not okay during pregnancy. I loved my time with my provider, Dr. Elliot, but she prescribed me Visatril for anxiety. My husband and I were told that it was safe to take, but everything I have read since says otherwise. Very concerning and I am glad I didn't take anyone's word for it. I didn't feel comfortable calling to ask why it was prescribed (see above), so just discontinued the medication after one use. A pregnant woman should not feel the need to rely on google because the thought of calling the office makes her uncomfortable. I went to the Women's Clinic for my first pregnancy, and scheduled here for more intimate care. After the most recent rude interaction with this place, I transferred back to the Women's Clinic, and am so glad I did- I would not recommend this place to any expecting mother, especially a first-time mom.

The doctors here are absolutely AMAZING. The front office, however, is a flaming hot mess. Be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes every time, remind them multiple times that you are not a new patient, have scheduling errors made, and deal with a lack of communication between receptionists. I come back solely because Dr Grove is so worth it.

Alexandra Waters

I really like this office and everyone I've interacted with, except for the ultrasound tech. We've had her two times and she has been condescending and unhelpful. Disappointed by that but otherwise a great clinic.

Austin Burns

I came to them in an immense amount of pain and after one test was negative, they essentially blew me off. I had to pry to get them to test other options. They prescribed antibiotics with no evidence of infection (they never even took my vitals or temperature). I ended up going somewhere else, no infection. Waste of my time and co-pay, I will never come back.

Leslie Bennett

I love all three doctors! I would have given the Clinic five stars, but there is no way after my experiences with one of the ultrasound technicians. I wish I could take my name off of this, but I can't. Unfortunately, there is an ultrasound tech that I will no longer see when I come in. I was appalled when she rushed us in, snapped at us during our anatomy ultrasound, snapped at my husband when he asked why there was a scheduling error, and then when my husband left the room, she called him "rude" to my face. There was no professionalism associated with this individual but out of respect to her privacy, I won't post her name, but she is the blonde US tech, not the one with gray curly hair. When I was quiet and didn't respond much (to try and keep the peace because I felt so awkward), she was offended and asked us if we just wanted to stop the ultrasound all together and go try our luck at The Women's Clinic. When my mother in law came in and asked to know the gender, she asked the tech to explain what was on the screen. (Having girl). This tech then responded aggressively, "it's a vagina..." without explaining anything. My mother in law was so insulted that she left the room. These were only a handful of events that took place. When my husband had to leave to go back to work, she then sarcastically yelled out the door "Bye sir, have a fantastic day!!"... and later commented to me (HIS WIFE) while I was alone that she couldn't believe he didn't say a proper goodbye and wish her a nice day. This tech took what was supposed to be a fun, very important and joyful day and completely ruined it with her lack of customer service and professionalism. I love this place, the other tech and the doctors. But I was horrified with this tech and ultimately disappointed that the clinic would contract with someone so unprofessional.

AJ Trefonas

We like the doctors but every appointment we have had a problem with them messing up our scheduling or losing the blood sample or something goes wrong. 20 weeks into the pregnancy and we want to find somewhere else :/

Update: Brittany was really great in resolving the issue and getting back to me. I am going to keep with Dr. Grove for my surgery and this office. Thank you Brittany. I saw Dr. Grove and have zero issues with her. She is wonderful and I trust my life to her. I did have a rough experience on check in, but that was not entirely their fault, although I think it could have been handled better (I felt quite humiliated in the lobby). But my main issue has been with the office after my appointment with Dr. Grove. As of this time, I am having to go to another clinic because I cannot get a call back. I was seen on a Friday and was told the scheduler would call me back on Monday or Tuesday. No call by Wednesday, so I called thinking maybe they had a bad phone number or something else. Voice mail said I would get a call back in 48 hours. On Friday there was still no call, so I tried to reach the office manager again however I didn't leave a message because I didn't want to be pushy. Monday afternoon still no call so I left another message. It has now been over another 48 hours and over a week since the Dr said I would get a scheduling call. I had to ask my Dr. to refer me to another clinic (even though I took off time from work and paid a specialty co-pay to see Dr. Grove) because I cannot get my surgery scheduled/ anyone to call me back. Now I am waiting 2 more weeks almost 2 weeks past my visit with Dr. Grove to go to another clinic and pay another co-pay because I cannot get a response here. Super bummed. I was at this clinic over 2 years ago with Dr. Grove for surgery and I had a great experience. I am sad to write a 1 star review this time.

Stephanie Mescher

I honestly don't know where to begin. I originally came here after a referral from my doctor at my university and enjoyed meeting with Dr. Grove, but was nervous about all the other negative reviews on here. However, everything else with being a patient here has been a nightmare. I had surgery last year and was told someone needed to stay with me for the rest of the day. My husband took the written prescription to our pharmacy right after the procedure, and because it did not have a dosage or amount written, just the name, he had to go in person to get an updated prescription from the doctor. We thought that would be the only issue, but then he went to 6 pharmacies and finally the last one told us it was a medication no longer carried or made by most pharmacies. So, my husband had to go back in person and finally, about 5 hours later, we had the prescription, all the while he should have been home with me. While recovering from my surgery I was having bad side effects from the medicine, and called to ask questions about how it was impacting me. I never heard back, so I had to call the surgery center where the procedure was done, and thankfully they called me back within 20 minutes and gave me instructions and information about stopping the medication and the effects from it. When it was time for my follow-up with Dr. Grove I was called that morning of my appointment and told she wasn't in and that I needed to reschedule. That's fine, but the fact I wasn't able to be seen for almost an entire week after was ridiculous, especially since it was the appointment to discuss results from surgery and to make sure my incisions were healing properly. Along with that, I had an issue with one of my incisions and the stitches on it, and of course, didn't hear back for a couple of days about what was possibly wrong. Fast forward to this month, and I decided to give them another try, regardless of my previous bad experiences. For my appointment I had to wait about 45 minutes, and even though I loved meeting with Dr. Grove, my experience was horrible again. It's now the 6th day since my appointment, and I have called numerous times to try and ask questions about my insurance changing and to get a prescription started, and never heard back. I finally decided to go elsewhere for my care, and even though I really like Dr. Grove, the horrible communication and experiences I had are no longer worth it.

Called to find out why my wife's new prescription had not been filled after her visit over 10 days ago, and after she called yesterday to get it filled. I explained the pharmacy had no record of a new prescription and that I was following up on behalf of my wife. I was connected to Tiffany who was not at all helpful, and told me my wife needed to call. I explained, again that my wife had called, this was not a refill and the pharmacy had not heard from their office. Tiffany hung up on me. This office staff has NO CONCERN for the health or well-being of their patients. I just read through the last 6 months of reviews and saw the Owner replied to each piece of feedback and promised to make things better. 'Not sure where hanging up on callers seeking resoloution to a patient's medical needs falls on their priorities, but it's clear they are just replying to do Public Relations triage without knowing how to solve rude and unprofessional behavior. ...Just saw Management's lame response which does nothing to address rude behavior or owning a problem untill it is resolved in a patient's best interest. Note that after I explained I was simply following up I was transferred to Tiffany where I assumed incorrectly that she was up to speed on the issue. Instead as I explained to her that I needed help she said" I don't even know your wife's name!" Then, instead of letting me tell her my wife's name she cut me off and repeated "I don't even know your wife's name." Tiffany never used the word HIPPA in the conversation as the reply says and the conversation was so short that there was no way Tiffany could have looked up my wife's HIPPA records as Management claims in their reply. Draw your own conclusions but it appears the response from this office is only based on my last name and their "revisionist history" to shift blame for their rude behavior.

I don’t often post reviews however I do feel that it is necessary to warn other women before they go to this clinic. The good: Debbie, she is amazing and a rockstar even when I called to make a complaint and explain why I needed to transfer out of the office, she was the first person who I felt actually listened to me. She was willing to work with me with my bill and apologized on behalf of the behavior of others, which was completely unnecessary on her part, but it was definitely appreciated from a scared 25 year olds perspective. The bad: There are so many incidents I don’t even know where to begin but I’m going to stick with the ones that still hurt me when I think about it. To start, the ultrasound technician... I went in for an ultrasound for an early pregnancy, very excited for my first child, but there is a sign on the wall that states please ask the tech before you take pictures. My husband asked and she rudely said “I mean if you want to sure.” Odd, but we let it go, slowly we began to realize that the ultrasound was not going as planned and the tech bluntly looked at me and said and I quote, “well the fetus is undersized and there is no heartbeat. You’ll have to speak with the doctor about treatment for the miscarriage. But go ahead and take a picture if you want.” That is how I found out I had my second miscarriage, a snide remark from someone who clearly didn’t not want to be at work and had no compassion for a PERSON who just lost her child. Turns out she was correct we lost the baby. We decided to go with surgery and quickly move on...Enter Dr. skorberg, the only provider available to perform the D&C. When she walked into our room, first time I met this woman her words, and again I quote, “well isn’t this is awkward first time meeting each other just to say your baby doesn’t have a heart beat!” With a smile on her face. She proceeded to tell a devastated couple not to worry “she can get just about anyone pregnant, it’s no big deal.” Maybe she is that good, but my goodness no regard for the pain that my husband and I were going through. My own foolish self decided to stick with this clinic, out of complacency and the fact that I really did like Dr. Grove. I had an appointment with her to now deal with chronic pain and other medical issues. I went and got lab work done per her request on a Friday, was told I would receive a call the following Tuesday, never happened. I called Wednesday to follow up, I was told she was busy in surgery but would call me that afternoon. NEVER received a call. It was now Friday, I called was transferred to the MAs in office and was told that I needed to be patient and I would get a call soon. Well it’s been 2 weeks and I still have no idea as to what is going on, and it has been made VERY loud and clear that I and in NO WAY shape or form a priority. And here we are. I am now transferring care. I hope maybe this will help the next women decide whether or not A Women’s Healing Center is the place for them.

Vallene Kailburn

I love A Woman’s Healing Center! Both Dr. Skorberg and Dr. Worford have been amazing doctors. It is rare when you find doctors that take the time to actually talk with you and not rush through an appointment. I highly recommend them!

Amanda West

A Woman's Healing Center was my first choice for an OB in Fort Collins, and looking back on the last 40+ weeks I know I made the right decision. From the 6 weeks of all day sickness in the first trimester to the grand finale marked by a 22+ hour complicated labor process, the Drs. and Nurses at A Women's Healing Center were consistent in communication and support. I want to thank everyone at A Woman's Healing Center and will continue to recommend them as the premier OB-GYN office in Fort Collins, Colorado!

keri ducy

Have called the office in last two weeks four times... requesting a prescription to be filled in which the dr. Told me to call when I was ready. I got one return call and the lady was very rude to me. I asked if she would let doctor know about my issues and please call me back.... fourth call the front desk said doctor came and took her files and she went to look for mine and it’s not there... update..I have since been contacted and the lady was very professional with my request and followed up with me as well. Thank you

Elizabeth Kramer

Dr. Grove is amazing, she was my main OB during my twin pregnancy and delivery. She would sit with me for as long as I needed answering all of my questions. All the PAs are great as well. Just an overall caring and knowledgeable center which can sometimes be hard to find in the healthcare system.

Tessa Marianne

I was not particularly happy with my experience here, which was unfortunate. I'm giving the clinic two stars because my doctor was very professional during my very first well woman exam. She made me feel very comfortable when I was nervous, which I appreciated. However, after the exam, when we discussed birth control, she didn't seem interested in personalizing her information to fit my needs. I understand that she has her whole birth control spiel, but much of it was irrelevant to my concerns and I felt that she didn't really care much about my particular case. We finally discussed the IUD, which was my main interest, and after consideration I decided against it for the time being. I requested that bloodwork be done because I've had issues my entire life that I suspected were hormonal. After I left and had the bloodwork done, I was called back a few days later. Off the bat, the receptionist on the phone pressured me to set an appointment to get an IUD placed. I asked about the blood test results instead, and she mentioned nonchalantly that it indicated that I had PCOS, which I now know is a hormonal syndrome. When I asked what that meant, she said I could discuss it with the doctor when I came in to get my IUD placed. This was a seriously life-changing diagnosis for me, and I truly resented the receptionist's apparent priority to get me to fork over money for an IUD rather than prioritizing a discussion about my health. I wish that there had been more motivation on the Clinic's part to consider my health, but it truly felt that they were more interested in my insurance money. I was extremely disappointed in my experience here, I will not be returning, and I will not recommend it to anyone.

Kelly Sharp

I had a high risk pregnancy and they were wonderful. I also was so scared to have a c-section but had to and they were so patient as I was a mess! They have been wonderful to work with.

Elizabeth Brauneis

Doctors are great. Nurses and tech are great. Everyone else is extremely rude. Avoid this place.

Katie Oliver

Because my name is attached to this review I will not go into too much detail. I'm not one to write reviews unless positive because I know most only review when they have something negative to say, but for the mental health of others do not go here! I went here as a new patient almost two years ago and was called in to be given an absolutely terrible diagnosis. I never showed symptoms and didn't even know they were testing for it, but found out this week after extensive testing because I knew it didn't make sense that I'm 100 percent healthy and they must have mixed my test/results/charts with someone else. It's such a relief to know I'm okay, but I feel bad for whoever got my results two years ago who does have something wrong. I called them to follow up on this issue, which personally I think would be an urgent matter to follow up on and they have not returned my call. If you do go here don't let them leave the room without asking your name and birthdate and labeling it then and there in front of you.

I have been a patient at A Woman's Healing Center since we were trying to conceive my son - 8 years ago now! I have received consistently AMAZING care! In all of my time there I have had no complaints with the front office, billing, medical assistants, or providers. I am proud to be a patient here. While I am from Fort Collins, I currently live 45 minutes away - and I gladly drive monthly, biweekly, weekly and in active labor (x3!). I (briefly) considered switching practice due to distance; however, no where else will I find such a small, personable group and receive such great care. I was lucky enough to have the same doctor deliver all 3 of my kiddos, even coming in when she wasn't on call. In the future, I'm going to need a surgery and the one of the leading doctors in Northern Colorado for it is Dr. Skorberg. I'll be at this practice for years to come.

Jill Schlegel

I cannot say enough amazing things about A Woman's Healing Center. From being 16 and diagnosed with endometriosis in one sitting by dr skorberg (after a year and a half of misdiagnoses, tests, surgeries and the whole shebang) to my very eventful pregnancy, labor, and delivery - I absolutely LOVE these doctors. I never had a bad experience and was always heard when I had questions/concerns. After all my OBGYN/doctor visits, I can tell you that is hard to find these days.

Elizabeth N

I do not recommend this to any woman. I was hesitant to try it out after reading all the negative reviews, but it came highly recommended from a close friend. Dr, Grove was very nice and patient and answered all of our questions. However, the office is very disorganized and you will never be seen for your appointment at the designated time. The staff was rude to my fiancé. Treated him as though he should not be included and as if he did not belong. He’s the father of our child and wants to be involved every step of the way. Then, I was sent to have blood work at PVH for testing. After two weeks and hearing nothing I called to see about my results. My call was never returned. Stopped by the office to see if I could get my results. I waited TWO HOURS just to see the medical assistant and have her tell me that they still did not have my results, but she should have them by the following day (she still has yet to call me.)Let me mention that I was emailed by the hospital that the results had been sent to my doctor’s office. Fast forward to today, and almost a month later and I still do not have my results. I understand that it is a busy office, but it’s getting to be ridiculous. We are actively seeking another OBGYN. Let’s hope that the new doctor’s office is able to get my records before next year.

Annie Cox

The office is warm and welcoming. The staff is very nice and professional. Dr Skorberg was excellent!

Trish Parsons

On my first visit, I really liked Dr. Amy Grove. She was kind and understanding, and she talked to me through the entire pelvic exam, explaining to me what she was doing. Unfortunately, when I tried to schedule my next appointment, I needed a month's refill on my birth control prescription before my upcoming appointment, and I could not get anyone to help me. Brittany, who answered the phone at the front desk, only had one solution, to send me to the doctor's medial assistant who is apparently never in the office because I kept getting her voicemail. I told Brittany this, and she just told me I could leave another message. So, after leaving a series of voicemails with this assistant, I was finally able to reach Tiffany, and she was cold and abrasive over the phone. She offered me no help. I am incredibly disappointed and will be switching to a different clinic with better trained administrative staff.

Normally I don't write reviews, but this was the worst experience with medical care I have ever had. I read some of the reviews on here and thought maybe people were being harsh, so I went ahead and tried this place to see for myself. The front staff is *unbelievably* unprofessional and rude. My fiance and I had many concerns, because this is our first pregnancy, and they took 48+ hours to return calls, or never did, and even hung up on us when we had medical concerns after telling us we would be transferred to a nurse line. On top of this, place-holder numbers regarding my blood pressure were put into my chart as if they were real, but they were not as it was not taken when I had my appointment. I called to ask questions about this right after my appointment; no response. My breaking point was when they scheduled me for an appointment on a day their office was closed. I called to ask about why my appointment was scheduled for a Sunday, and the woman who answered the phone told me that "nope, it is a Monday". I had to call back two more times to get ahold of a different person, to which I explained I had checked every calendar conceivable and knew for a fact they had scheduled me for July 8th, which is a Sunday. She then went to check, and it turned out they had scheduled me for 2019! No apology for their mistake or how rude the first woman was, nothing. I will say that Dr. Grove is literally the only competent person in this entire office. I really wish I would have started where I am being seen now instead of this office; I had a really negative experience when I should have been able to enjoy my early pregnancy. There needs to be a higher standard of patient communication here, and perhaps retraining to learn how to not be blatantly rude when you work at the front desk of a doctor's office. I would not trust this place with my or my baby's life. I am glad I will be going through the rest of this pregnancy with a different office that can operate a phone and actually cares about their patients' concerns. Seriously, there are much better options in town.

Honor Posey-Marquez

Dr. Grove has provided surgical and gynecological care competently for me, and she has been respectful of my experience and contributions through a gamut of surprise issues. Calls have been returned promptly, treatment has been rendered efficiently, and beyond the normal stuff, she has gone above and beyond- multiple times- to help me get treatment and comprehension. Personally, I enjoy the friendly and casual vibe at the office. I recommend these ladies regularly.

Elizabeth Williams

A fantastic practice. Always courteous, timely, and they take the time to really listen. I appreciated them working with me as I wanted a VBAC for the delivery of my second child. Dr. Worford made it possible and for that I am so thankful!

Maddie Fries

I was extremely pleased with my visit at A Woman's healing center! I am slightly new to Fort Collins and recently went in for my well woman exam with Dr. Grove. Dr. Grove and her staff made me feel very welcome and seemed genuinely friendly. Dr. Grove took her time with me and listened to all of my concerns and previous medical issues. She never made me feel rushed or unimportant which unfortunately has happened in the past at other clinics. They definitely seem to prioritize the quality of care above everything else. I will absolutely being going back and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Shelby Vicino

This place had a one star review last week and I thought that was total BS, so let me just leave something a little better: First things first, the women at the front desk are lovely. I cannot tell you how many negative experiences I've had with receptionists at doctors offices. I had almost given up hope and officially decided that they're all evil soul sucking demons, but the receptionists here are really sweet and patient. At my last OBGYN, I waited at least an hour for my appointment. Here, I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes. I had Dr. Worford, and let me tell you, she is a riot. She made me feel so comfortable. A+. Went in today for my birth control shot (I'm on depo.) At my last location, it hurt like hell. Didn't even feel it this time. Highly recommend going here. I have yet to have anything even remotely close to a bad experience. Stay rad, you guys.

Ty Goodwin

I want to be clear that I’m not writing this review to bash a business or specific people on the Internet but for expecting mothers looking for an OBGYN. I don’t even know where to begin because I’ve been disappointed and wronged by A Woman’s Healing Center so many times during my pregnancy but I’ll begin with my breaking point with them. At my 20-week scan, I was told that my baby was measuring small and her size would continue to be monitored by ultrasounds for the duration of my pregnancy. After our 24-week ultrasound, one of the doctors came in the room and told us she and the ultrasound tech saw cysts on our baby’s kidneys and she thought it was a terminal illness called Polycystic Kidney Disease. She said the last time she saw a baby with this disease, it died three days after it was born. As she had at our last appointment, she refused to look at or acknowledge my husband the entire time. She met with us for all of maybe 10 minutes. Thankfully, she sent us to a specialist who was able to meet us the next day, the only good thing A Woman’s Healing Center ever did for me. This specialist and his ultrasound tech let us know they saw NO signs of the Polycystic Kidney Disease. My husband and I experienced the worst 24 hours of our lives for no reason, thinking our baby was going to die within days after birth and that we would then have a 25-30% chance of having another baby with this disease, which is part of the cruelty of this specific disease. I understand doctor's get it wrong sometimes but all she had to do was tell us she saw an abnormality and was sending us to a specialist. This doctor never followed up to see how we were doing. Her PA called the next week to get me back on the schedule but nothing from the doctor. In addition, the ultra sound tech that they contract is just awful. She was cold from my first ultrasound and I requested to not see her again but that request was ignored. During our 20 week scan she asked my husband if he had a medical background and when he said he did not, she said she didn’t understand why he was asking so many questions then… When I asked her to point out the baby's face in one ultrasound picture she sarcastically goes "wow..." and rolled her eyes. Additionally but not most importantly, I was never informed that my original doctor for the past five years had left the practice. I only know that because a friend of a friend told me. The front desk also screwed up one of my appointments, etc. You will be a number at this doctor’s office. You will not get personalized or even competent care. I feel completely traumatized by my experience at A Woman’s Healing Center and can only be thankful that I was sent by them to an amazing specialist who I now will see for the rest of my pregnancy, that I still have time in my pregnancy to find a new doctor to deliver my baby and of course that the doctor and ultrasound tech were so wrong about my baby.

Samantha Clark

I had a really bad experience, and I will not be returning. The receptionist did not tell me any details on the phone. I made a same day appointment, and she did not mention they would need urine or that I would need an annual exam. They did not tell me they needed my previous records. I got to the clinic and I waited for an hour, with no explanation as to why I wasn't being taken to a room. Over 5 other patients were taken into rooms, and multiple left before I was seen. The receptionist was making appointments for the same day on the phone while I was waiting (if they were booked and running late, that shouldn't be happening). Once I got into the room I found out that I was not seeing the doctor I had asked to see on the phone. The doctor was the one that told me I'd need an annual exam, which I did not have time for after waiting for so long, and that she would need my previous records. I told her I had an annual recently, and she was rude and asked me why I didn't get a prescription from that doctor. I had recently moved, which I had told her, and that was why I needed to be there. I did not like the doctor I saw, and I ended up leaving. The whole experience was awful. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Kaitlyn Maloley

Very rude front staff. I called 3x to be put on hold and hung up on. Then when they initially picked up I tried to explain that the call keeps dropping and they hung up right away. I hope they don't treat all new patients like this. Otherwise I can't see how they would acquire any.

Venesa T

I enjoy the office flow and loving women vibe tribe. I've had 2 babies with Worfford and Grove assisted. What a wonderful team.

Kati Hinch

Thank you Dr. Grove and Ashleigh and Jana. You were all so wonderful answering my questions and making sure you got to know me and my body. I really appreciate the time you spent with me. I did NOT feel like a number and am so thankful for that!

Shelbie Halvorsen

Like another reviewer said, despite reading some pretty negative reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I have never done a Google review before, but I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from having the same experience as me. I made an appointment with Dr. Grove to discuss fertility issues. Dr. Grove was kind and answered all of my questions and got me started with some testing. My issue is with Dr. Grove's medical assistant. I left a voice mail for her to get some clarification on a test result and after a week I had not heard back, so I left another voice mail and again never heard back. I let this go and got clarification from the doctor at a following appointment. Fast forward to this week, Dr. Grove's medical assistant was supposed to be scheduling a time sensitive appointment for me with radiology (must be done day 7-9 of cycle, in which day 8 and 9 happen to fall on the weekend in this instance). I called on Monday and by Thursday still hadn't received any information despite my several attempts at calling to follow up on the progress (because of my precious experience with unreturned voicemails/concerns, I was hesitant to trust that she was going to get this done). I called on Thursday, and let the front office know that I really needed to speak with the medical assistant because this procedure needs to be scheduled for Friday and I haven't heard anything. I was able to speak with the medical assistant, but I cannot even explain to you how insensitive, rude, and disrespectful she was to me. By the end of my conversation with her I was in tears. she very rudely said to me "I will call you when I get it scheduled". I reminded her that this appointment needs to be scheduled for tomorrow, so I asked if she was going to call today to get it scheduled and again she responded shortly with "I will call you when I get it scheduled". Truthfully, I'm appalled that she has a job where she deals with patients. I am in the health profession as well, and I would never dream of speaking to a patient the way she spoke to me. I get that they are busy, but there is no excuse for the way she spoke to me and made me feel. Every time in my 6 months as a patient there I spoke with her, I felt like an inconvenience. She did end up getting this procedure scheduled, thankfully I didn't have to work since I didn't have an appointment scheduled until less than 24 hours prior, even though I called on Monday. I will most certainly be finding a new office that values their patients and treats them with kindness and respect. UPDATE: Several weeks ago I stopped in to sign a records release so I could have my records on hand when finding a new office. I was sent the wrong chart which included all of someone else's personal information.

Ashley Schrock

I really love going to see Dr. Skorberg. She is kind, patient, and very thorough in her explanations. However, I have been going here for about 3 years and I'm always frustrated whenever I have to call or go in. I work for another doctors office with very high standards so maybe I'm being critical but the front office staff always seems like they are in a bad mood. It makes me, and I assume others, feel uncomfortable. I'm always on hold for about 10 minutes just to ask a quick question or confirm an appointment. I read some other reviews and saw that you guys are transferring over to an electronic filing system. Asking me if I have been exposed to someone with a disease, or other sensitive information at the front desk while there are other patients right behind me is a direct violation of HIPPA. I would lie about that just so no one has to hear. I recommend putting these questions on your paperwork and cultivating more positivity with the front office staff.
