My family and I have had a wonderful experience every time we have went to St. Bernard's! Expert care, sweet nurses, very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They took time talking to us and listening to our concerns. Our health was taken care of. After care was also fantastic, they called for a follow up, just to check and make sure everything was taken care of. Someone mentioned problems with billing, I never had a single problem with that issue. Billing worked with us and never gave us drama. On one visit, we had to go late at night with a very sick five year old, they were great with my son, they got us in and out, diagnosed what it was, treated him, and he got better. I couldn't ask for better service. I also had my baby at St. Bernards and had the sweetest nurses!

Our experience on 4/6/19 was absolutely horrible. We took my 78 year old dad to the ER because he could not urinate. We had to sit in the waiting room for about 4 hours before being called back. The male working the triage was VERY rude!!! They emptied the waiting room at least 4 times with younger people wailing before calling my dad and another elderly man back. They claimed the reason for the long wait was due to an abundance of ambulances that night and other people were on an “express line” of some sort. Mind you my dad was not screaming in pain, but he was hurting very badly. He just does not carry on like others do when he is in pain. He had been unable to urinate ALL day and had been drinking water regularly.

I couldn't have ask for a better team of doctors & nurses during my stay @ this facility. I entered into the ER not knowing I was going to be admitted for emergency surgery. Somethings are so unpredictable, but thanks to the professionalism & caring souls of the staff it made what I was about to experience a lot less frightening. Dr. Frego in ER was so attentive & made sure that my transition was that of ease. Not knowing any surgeons in the area for my procedure Dr. Frego set me up with what I now know as an outstanding surgeon, Dr. Jennifer Dicocco. She was very down to earth & made sure that I, along with my family was at total ease & comfortable. The second floor nursing staff did an outstanding job in caring for me during my stay... I feel they need to be applauded. I know we all experience some dissatisfaction @ medical facilites that tend to service our every medical need, but there is not one flaw or degrading thing that I can say about the amazing care I received @ this facility. I know that I will "never" venture into any NEA facilities due to numerous incidents I've personally experienced along with my family, so it is a relief to know that I can be comfortable in trusting St. Bernards.

ER doc on call very early morning 4/14/19 was effective, efficient, and had a great bedside manner. Took about 1-2 hrs, not bad at all for the ER on a weekend. Had an entertaining belligerent drunk to listen to also! Side note- JPD and hospital staff handled all of that really professionally despite some quite obnoxious behavior. Overall if I have to get up at 3am and come to the hospital this was as good as I can expect.

The Nurse Practioner came in, heard my complaint, and told me my diagnosis. However, as a precautionary she asked a ER physician to examine me and he concurred with her diagnosis. He wanted a CT to confirm no other problems.

Went in to the emergency room. Had a room within 20 minutes. The staff was nice and treated me well. They don't get 5 stars because I was sent home with the same symptoms I arrived with but at least i knew what was wrong with me. I feel they did the bare minimum as far as rehydration and pain management which i think is more on the hospital than the staff. I really needed more iv fluids, it would have made a huge difference when I returned home still unable to drink without vomiting.

I was under the impression, from other people that I have talked to. That I would be treated with dignity and respect. And that my condition would get the service and respect that I needed. But me personally, I was not thatthat impre with the service. Made me feel like I was an idiot. They made me feel like I was lying to them about my pain. I was informed that I was going to be treated for the pain with previous methods, even though I told them that it did not, has not worked in the past. Me, personally with this experience. I do not think that I would recommend them to anybody.

Most employees in ER department were lacking personality or care with the exception of a few people. EXTREMELY slow. I get that they are "busy" but I was in ER room for over 3 hours with no care. Eventually took blood, x-ray and said I was fine and sent me home. Lady who took care of me was surprisingly pretty nice. Charged hundreds on hundreds for simple blood draw and x Ray. I understand med work is expemexpe but that is ridiculous.

You guys started the TPA process on busting up a blood clot in my right leg. That first night in ICU my nurse was tweeking on meth. As soon as I mention it at shift change you guys discharge me. Now I'm at another hospital in another state fixing what u guys started. I will never use your facility or any of my families or a complete stranger.

We did not have a good experience at the ER. My son’s finger tip was almost completely severed. It took 3 hours to get him ibuprofen. They finally stitched it up. We were there a total of 5 hours. There was probably only 30 total minutes of doctors or nurses checking on him. Most of that was time spent waiting. Once they came in to take the bandage off, and left his hand bleeding on the chair until we asked for them to bring something to put on it for the bleeding.

My father glen smithee had cancer they said they successfully removed the cancer he went in for a check up and never left they had him on the first floor for a week telling us a different story day by day but also saying he was fine just needed to keep an eye on him for a few days well get the call he is in icu with fluid on his lungs but still saying he is gonna be fine long story short each nurse told us different stories everyday I lifted up my dads gown and his legs were covered in spots all over and wen I did so I noticed they had his hands strapped down they said its protocol they said the spots were on his legs the hole time he played on that first floor for a week and could not tell us what they were the last day they told me to go home and rest and were doing more testing the next day two hours later he was gone no explanations I have stewed and now am going to call a lawyer and get some answers I would recommend taking your family elsewhere!!! So much miscommunication. My mom suffered there for a week. So much conflicting info. Saying test where needed when they had been done, not once but several times. I can't believe they are still open!

The wait was excessively long and there was an apparent breakdown in communication between my doctor’s office and your emergency room staff which caused the repetition of blood tests which had already been done thus incurring additional costs which weren’t necessary. Furthermore, after having received pain medication within 30 minutes I experienced a bout of excruciating pain which had me doubled over, rolled up in a ball yelling in pain my wife used the call button to ask for assistance and heard over the speaker assistance needed in our room but no one came! I could have died and your staff couldn’t have given a rat’s patooty! After, having been there (including arrival) for 7 hours, a doctor finally came in, gave me a diagnosis, a plan of recovery and informed me he would have the paperwork prepared so I could be released, that took yet another hour. Considering I had been to my doctors office earlier that day for 2-1/2 hours and, as I previously stated, they had drawn blood and did X-rays and found a spot on my lower left quadrant of my abdominal cavity which merely required a CT scan to ascertain whether it was a kidney stone or diverticulitis, and due to the severity of the pain and constraints of my insurance company, my PCP determined it was necessary I go through the emergency room so treatment could begin immediately, which is why he called to inform the ER of my arrival. Had I known that whoever took the call would fail to make note and I was going to be there for 8 hours, I am not so sure I would have subjected myself to that additional agony.

The NICU nurses are AMAZING!!! Our sweet little girl needed a lot of TLC and that is exact what she received. Even her nurses on 4 east were wonderful. If it wasn’t for the care they provided her we might still be there today.

The nurses were wonderful. Ashely, Linda, and Clara on 4th floor did an excellent job and were very caring. However, I believe my child was released from the hospital to early. We were told that her oxygen level was low and that they needed to check it more and maybe put her on oxygen then came back in because the doctor said it was fine and let us go. Then last night her breathing was very bad and we had a rough night. I wish I would have insisted to stay and that the doctor had spent less time talking about Disney princesses and more about my daughters health.

Worst damn hospital I been. I was told at 530 that i would still a regular food tray buy only little late. They was doing this halls trays then. Now 4 hrs later the kitchen is closed and still no food.. now I have a migraine from not eating and my an,iety is even higher which is why im in here.. to many ppl in here for the pay check and not becaise they care about ppl.. I will never again come back to this hospital and will be yalking to lawyer when I get out. This is neglect if I ever saw it..

In my own opinion, this hospital staff didnt take anything seriously. A relative went in on a Sunday night for a heart attack, they are waiting until Saturday to do open heart surgery. The last 3 days shes had chest pains now they are taking it seriously. It took the cardiologist 5 days to come see her (the one doing the surgery). This place is a joke. Would not reccomend to my worst enemy.

I received very attentive care during my hospital stay. The care team providing my care were very thorough and generally seemed to care. Everyone had great bedside manner and made sure I not only understood but made sure to explain everything but went the extra mile to demonstrate. They also provided me samples for a medication I wasn’t going to be able to afford. I would highly recommend this hospital.

I had wonderful nurses Ladonna and Kayla and the techs were great Tammy, Jennifer and Taj.. the only problem I had was the room was awful. The nurses barely had room to move around and there was barely enough room to have the IVs hooked up. I suggest you not use the room again until some remodeling is done..

Everything was great but the Neurologist Dr. can't remember his name was very rude and hateful with my family and I. He maybe was in the room at the most total of 15 minutes and has charged a lot, he said I was a waste of his time! what happen was I had a four wheeler wreck I was going about 20 and my breaks had failed I tried pumping the breaks and it did not work I panicked and my wheel broke off the Axle and I flipped 5 or 6 different times. A very nice couple stopped and saw a four wheeler flipped upside down they thought I was died. it took 4 men to get that thing off of me. I was Unconscious they say if I was wearing a helmet, going any faster or if I would have laid there any logger I would have died! I Thank God that I had God watching over me that day! I was in ICU right across from the room my grandma just died in a couple of months before. It was horrible!

Took my money for physical right away and made me wait hour after appointment. The Dr there who isn't an eye doctor refused to sign off on my eye Dr's examination for corrected vision. Held up my medical card for four days messing around. NEVER AGAIN!

My family uses this hospital exclusively. We have never been treated with anything but friendly, trained employees. As recent as last week an unknown problem arosee. The Rapid Response Team immediately went into action. Within 2 hours they diagnosed the problem and saved a life! After 2 surgeries on 2 days, we will be him we tomorrow.

The only thing that made it a hard time was the fact that it was a semi private room. The people on the other side of the curtain, were very rude. They were loud, they cursed a lot and there was, at least 5 people including the patient! My blood pressure was very high, and they didn't make things any better. It'd been nice to have a private room, or at least a cubical wall between patients. As well as, the 2 people to a room enforced. My care was awesome. But, wish you didn't pack several patients in one room.

My father was not given any of his meds for 3 days. They got the list of his meds on admission but they were never given to him. Also had to complain about oxygen not being put on. He's supposed to be on oxygen 24/7

Billing has been horrible for awhile now. I have 3 separate bills for a simple surgery. None of my bills were sent to my insurance company and by the time they send it, they told me it's too late for your insurance to cover anything. I never seen the doctor who performed the surgery on my wrist, until the follow up appointment. Please becareful with who you choose to care for you and your loved ones.

Had a nurse practicioner roll her eyes at me twice, tell me she wouldn't prescribe pain medicine, and completely ignored the fact that I did not ASK for pain medicine, I asked for a steroid shot. The minute I got to the back. I sat in a curtained area in pain for more than four hours. Then, the LPN came with a pain shot and discharge papers. My wife argued until the LPN returned with a steroid shot. They get 1 star because the triage nurse and the LPN that brought me my discharge paperwork were VERY pleasant and understanding.

Unfortunately we have had to go to the hospital for many issues over the last several years. Not all of these were for bad issues. One was the birth of our daughter. And of course it was a wonderful experience. They have the best labor and delivery team around. We loved them so much we will be returning next month to give birth to our son with them. If you have any issues or feel they need improvement in an area they give u a chance to tell them whether it be during or after your visit. They off so much support. They have even helped us out financially. Even the ER team was amazing when we miscarried our first baby in 2014. The doctor in the Er actually sat with me and told me his personal story with his wife and his loss. They now have 5 kids. The nurses treat u with respect and if you don’t care for how one of them does something speak up and they will try someone different because let’s face it we all have different ideas of great care and service especially when it comes to our health.

My experience at the hospital was good but one special nurse made my pain and suffering after my surgery bearable. I felt she was so sweet and caring and went beyond the normal duties as just a nurse to make sure I was taking care of. Her name was Lisa Miller, RN, 3 East. I feel she deserves recognition for going above and beyond. Without her love and care my stay would have not been as bearable.

My son had a bad accident and went to St. Bernards ER. I do not think I have been to a better ER, and I have been to many. Dr Bennett and Dr. Mosley were wonderful. The nurse caring for my son (Stephanie, I think) was running literally taking care of everyone. It was the fastest sevice ever in an emergency room. Could not have been better care.

Doctors Porter and Morrison Nurses: Amber, McKenleigh, Franchie, Vanessa Techs: Rachel, Carol, Brittney Respiratory: Eric and a female w/ short red hair did an outstanding job taking care of not only me as the patient but also my husband's comfort and concerns. Great nursing staff and doctors. Second to none in NEA and surrounding areas. We delivered a healthy 7.4lb baby girl with no complications, and the experience was great. Staff were informative, courteous, patient, and very amicable. The only issue I had was with the very miserly approach to feeding patient guests. I'm the father and was only afforded one complimentary meal. Most hospitals see to it the guest is fed as well. Unpleasant having to leave for every meal.

I wouldn’t have been in the emergency room at 8am with my child if I didn’t think I needed to be there I was left for two hours with no one checking on me no doctor came to see me no nurse come to ask me any questions on why I was there it was an awful experience and awful treatment by your staff

They were awesome! I was worried about some of the baby’s movements, so I went to L&D and they got me all checked out and reassured. Then they showed me around the L&D wing and answered all my questions, I now feel so much better about the big day :) also they were all very sweet and nice.

Will send you made-up bills due in 10 days with threats to report to credit agencies. Your primary care physician will say you don't owe anything, yet their accounting people say you do. Has no sense of privacy, either. Just say you're someone else and they'll tell you all about their medical history. Avoid their health-care group and hospital at all costs. I for one will be switching immediately.

From the time I entered the ER waiting room, I was given prompt care and attention by all the drs, nurses, techs that I encountered. Once I was admitted, this level of care continued. The UAMS drs were awesome. St. Bernards bas always been our choice for healthcare. Never had a bad experience at this hospital. Me and my family have used this facility since we moved back from Memphis in 1987. AWESOME JOB BY ALL.

Ignored my symptoms, almost bled to death, recieved 4 units of blood, had cardiomyopathy due to pregnancy, ahec didn't catch any of this. I had placenta previa they missed it on ultra sound and also missed all the signs of swelling, high blood pressure, high heart rate. Ef went to 9 before they done anything about it. I still have health problems today because of it. My heart never gained full ef. I am at 30 ef. I will have problems for the rest of my life because of this hospital. I have to see a transplant doctor because of this. My family nor I will be back.

Horrible experience. I brought my stepdad in for bad pain in stomach after having surgery there and two hours later still no relief. Staff wasn't friendly and seemed too busy laughing and joking and talking about who is on vacation instead of tending to patients needs. The best person we encountered was house keeping. She was friendly and offered to get a pillow to help hold his head up

Horrible! My mother is very sick. She will come for a few days then they send her home and she has to come right back. They can't figure out what's wrong. The staff is always very rude. She will call for help to go to the restroom and you will have to call multiple times. Someone shows up an hour later.

I went into St. Bernards today for an outpatient procedure. The care that I was given was outstanding. I was very nervous about the procedure and they calmed me down & took very good care of me. I would definitely recommend going to St. Bernards to any of my friends or family & if I have to go back to the hospital I will be going back to them. I have never given a review before but because of the way they treated & cared for me I felt I had to. You can really tell they actually care about their patients wellbeing & comfort, as well as the visitors. I wish I could remember the names of the doctors & nurses that treated me but sadly I cannot. I hope this helps anyone that has to have a procedure done & doesn't know what hospital to go to or is worried about having it done you will recieve exceptional care. Best wishes & God bless :-)

St. Bernards has a big sign that clearly states "Accepting New Patients" Well I walked in on a Friday gave all the necessary information and was told to expect a call. Well after a couple of weeks I called back and the representative was really nice she apologized and informed me that I should have received a called four to five days later. Nothing! Further more, I walked in that Friday to obtain doctor here in Jonesboro. We moved here from Ga and was told I would get a call when a doctor responds, But my husband called the same day and got an appointment for the following Friday. I feel as though there was some discrimination because we don't share that same insurance.

My husband has had several surgeries here, he had a quadruple bypass 7 month Tania Stephens My husband has had several surgeries here, he had a quadruple bypass 7 months ago, a total hip replacement , he had to have his ankle bones reset from a motorcycle accident by an extraordinarily gifted orthopedic surgeon that was called into the ER that day. All surgeries, he had went well, with no complications. His heart surgeon DR. Havdalah, saved his life, with the good Lords guidance. and Dr Havdala' s skillful hands and knowledge. Today my husband is in surgery to remove a kidney stone, it is one day surgery and i am sure it will go well as all his others did. My three boys , now grown,have gone to ST Bernards all their lives to ER for stitches possible poisoning when my youngest accidently got into prescribed medication at age 3 , 15 years ago. this hospital has been a Godsend for me and my family the staff is wonderful, caring, and very highly capable of taking care of emergencies as well as all other health issues. For 24 years we have lived here and St Bernards and the staff are like family to us. Because so many times they have been there for many of my family members, it is because of people such as they, that makes life worth living all the more. and improves the quality of our life. And I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.

The ER is a joke, Admissions sucks but the nurses on the floor if you finally get there are excellent. Go to the other Baptist Hospital and save yourself a huge headache and load of trouble! Never had the level of terrible care before and wobr take a chance on having it again. Would be rated one star if not for the great service received on the actual floor.

The doctors and nurse's were very very kind i would go to this hospital again...nurses that i admire for her decation was my morning nurse and night nurses and cna always on there toes..and cafeteria people brought my food..everyone was very patients with me..thank uiu Penny Lowe

My best friend is here for a shunt revision. The nurse is rude. It took over an hour and 4 request for pain meds. When I ask for her name she said she didn't like to give it out. Hopefully the next nurse is better and shows up in the room more than once during her shift. Wouldn't recommend this hospital.

For a heart hospital they were very sorry significant other had to wait 10 minutes before they let him come back after my 20 minute wait on holding pressure. I ask for coffee and no visitors. That didn't happen even ask for him to leave and nurses didn't make him leave. The nurses spent little time with patients
