I always liked the staff but over the last year I have had nothing but problems. Mostly from Karen Skinner. A staff member made a mistake with my insurance. I have asked Karen four times via written letter to process the insurance per the insurance companies instructions. Karen has refused to do so. She has sent me a few letters in the mail that were extremely unprofessional and rude. All she wanted to do was claim it was a he said/she said error. Yet it was a very simple fix. The last letter from them states she is "dismissing" me as a client because she claims I was verbally abusive when I called last week to speak to Dr. King himself. That's a lie! I was never verbally abusive to anyone on the phone. And I wasn't speaking to Karen any way. The last person I talked to was Donna. Donna was very nice, very apologetic about Karen's rude behavior. I told her twice it's not her fault, I just don't want to deal with Karen Skinner any more. She refused to do what the insurance company requested. Why was this so hard for her to understand and follow instructions. I hate to tell Karen, but because of her there was no way on this planet I was ever going to visit King Dermatology again. She totally wasted a stamp mailing such a ridiculous letter. So if you are considering visiting them, make sure you double check that they have your insurance correct because they will not accept any responsibility for human error. I really wish Dr. King would have called me, I doubt he even knows about this or got my message. Karen needs to be fired. She is very unprofessional and lacks respect in many ways.
