I started as a new patient with Dr. Cunningham this week. I cannot say enough positive things about him. I have NEVER had a doctor take so much time to get to know me and talk about each of my issues. He is trying to get to the root cause and fix things...not just put a band-aide on it for now. His office staff and nurses were funny and helpful. THAT'S IMPORTANT! Thank you to all of you at Creekside for being so kind and welcoming.

I was very unimpressed with Dr Cunningham. He was very quick to perform a complete hysterectomy on me. It absolutely changed my life in a good way, but before the surgery I told him I was allergic to latex. He asked why I thought that, and I explained that another doctor had treated me with a spider bite, and when they removed the band-aid it ripped my skin off. She informed me I was allergic at that point. Made perfect sense since all my life I had problems from latex condoms, band-aids, and gloves. He told me just because you have a reaction doesn't mean you are allergic. WHAT? He made me get tested before my surgery because it cost a lot of money to have the surgery-room prepared for someone that is allergic. I was allergic. After my hysterectomy he was no longer interested in being my doctor (we had a disagreement about something). He left me in the waiting room for an hour when I came for my yearly exam, and when I approached the desk I was told his iPad wasn't working. I left the office explaining my time was also valuable, and I had watched them take four other women back to see him that arrived after I had. After I left his nurse, Becky, called and left a message telling me they had come to the waiting room to get me and I was gone. I was still in the parking lot, but she made no effort to open the front door and say my name. Later, no one from the office called to apologize, and when I tried to be referred to another doctor in the clinic(because it sucks to change clinics), I could not get anyone to call me for an appointment. If you aren't a doormat, don't go see this doctor. He wants you to let him bring his students into the room, and shut up so he can feel superior. I am now having problems with the hormones I was prescribed, and have to find a new doctor that doesn't know me. I'm looking at a two month wait wherever I go. Hopefully my health won't be put in too much jeopardy. How frustrating.

Dr. Cunningham has been my OB/GYN for around 20 years now. He was my OB when I was pregnant and delivered my daughter. Both of my sisters also go to Dr. Cunningham and we wouldn’t go to anyone else. He’s extremely professional but personable, takes the time to make sure you understand everything discussed and have no questions left unanswered. He’s thorough with out being slow but he also doesn’t rush you through either. Plus, there’s Becky, his Nurse!! She’s a pleasure and is always happy and smiling! We all love Becky! All the ladies at the clinic are fantastic though and without them there wouldn’t be a clinic in my opinion. ;)

Dr. Cunningham is always very very nice, making sure you are comfortable with the whole process. They always remind when it’s time to make an appointment, and nurses there are very nice too. The only complaint I had was I waited for about 20 minutes before anyone came in... I figured 5 minutes was okay... maybe he was busy seeing other people in which case I understand, but 20 minutes may make a first time patient really nervous! Other than that everyone is always nice :)

I just recently had my first appt with Dr. Cunningham and his team and just wanted to share the experience. Receptionist was kind and diligent, and the nurse who took vitals was pleasant enough, but actually talking with Cunningham was the most uplifted I’ve felt in some time. My husband and I just got married and have every intention of having a baby (God willing), but we ended up miscarrying shortly after discovering our pregnancy (conceived in the first 2-3 weeks of marriage). I met with him anyway just to follow up and he was extremely welcoming and kind. He listened to all of my concerns and though he was behind and had much going on, he patiently took in what I said and responded actively (not generically). I’m very blessed to have encountered him and look forward to future appts whether it be pregnancy or simple GYN appts.
