He derived both my sons. My first son passed away at sixteen months and he sent the most beautiful flowers it was a very hard pregnancy. I hard fertility problems and started bleeding at 4 months and I never had a problem getting seen a then went into labor at 32 weeks was in and out of the hospital for the next few weeks..until I had him. I should have wrote this review years ago. My daughter was born on July 2011, Dr. Rosey E. Seguin was my OBGYN. She is now retired. The reason I’m writing this review is not because of Dr. Seguin but because of Dr. Wyatt. Dr Wyatt was on call the night I went to the hospital. This was my first child so when my water broke and I was having symptoms, I called him that evening and asked if I needed to go to the hospital because I wasn’t sure if my water broke and he said no I didn’t need to go to the hospital. My husband called a friend of his who was a doctor and she informed us to go to the hospital immediately, it was around 9:00 PM. My daughters heart stopped beating several times and the nurse called Dr Wyatt first around 2:00 AM and several times after that to come to the hospital to deliver my baby but he would NOT come. I was in severe pain and my epidural did not work and the nurse expressed this to Dr. Wyatt but he chose to stay in bed and not come to the hospital. It was around 7:00 AM, I not sure if this was the exact time but it was when Dr. Wyatt went off call and Dr Sequin was on call. She showed up and immediately took me into an emergency C section. When I was cut open I felt the knife cut me open and I was in severe pain, I was then put under. When I woke up I was informed that I had a placental abuption and that my baby and I almost died. My daughter even went without oxygen for a while and we were worried she could have brain damage. We were very lucky that my daughter did not end up having brain damage. Dr. Wyatt should have noticed all my symptoms of a placental abruption from the nurse expressing this to him but he chose to stay in bed instead of delivering my baby. The next day or so while I was recovering in the hospital Dr. Wyatt came by my room to make his rounds; he acted like nothing happened and it wasn’t that big of a deal. Absolutely under no circumstance would I have confidence in having Dr. Wyatt as your OBGYN. He chose to stay in bed instead of coming to the hospital to deliver my baby, because of his laziness my daughter and I almost lost our lives. I’m sure Dr. Wyatt will read this review and remember this delivery as the one that could have ended his career. This was a horrible experience for me, never once did he reach out to me. Dr. Sequin was a gem and was such a wonderful OBGYN, I thank her for showing up to the hospital and saving my daughter and my life; she will always have a special place in my heart. Dr Wyatt cannot be counted on to do what’s best for you and your baby and under no circumstances can you trust that you will be in good hands with him.
